4761  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Quick Noob Question about Traders on: November 21, 2019, 12:57:32 AM
I have 1.8 btc in total from two different trading sites. Its stored there. On somedays the websites work and is fully operational. hustrade.com and waxcoins.com

Does it have to do with server?

I know I might be answerings this question for myself, but it never hurts to ask.
I can deduce from your post about the servers of those exchanges not functional at times well this is a warning signal that their server might go off completely someday thus your hard earned bitcoin would have gone with it, as a trader withdraw your bitcoin to a reputable and trustworthy exchange based on your research in this forum at least your bitcoin would be safer although its not advisable to store your coins in an exchange
4762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin The King Of Crypto on: November 20, 2019, 02:44:41 PM
a long time ago, bitcoin has always been the top crypto. in addition, the world is also more aware of developments in bitcoin compared to other cryptos. it is evident from the price, we know that the price achieved by bitcoin today, starting from the number 0. because of this, bitcoin is the king of crypocurrency.
The dominance of bitcoin in the cryptosphere is well deserved and despite all every efforts by other cryptocurrencies like ethereum to undermine its dominance had hits a brick wall thus it continue to wax stronger partly due to its huge capitalization and large volume traded daily, of course investors sees bitcoin as a safe haven that worth investing on based on its trust and nobody is behind its project which can lead to it manipulation.
4763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in ICO or buy BTC? on: November 20, 2019, 11:10:49 AM
I am a newcomer to the crypto market.
Should I invest in ICO projects or would I buy bitcoin to hold and wait for the price? Please give me advice.
Sincerely thank you.
ICOs are dead in the cryptosphere this is as result or aftermath of many scams that had engulfed the entire market thus discoraging investors to invest in them, I would rather invest in a more stable bitcoin while buying at low then sell at high I would not bothered about any speculations surrounding any ICO again for now maybe in the nearest future if the coast is clear then I may decide to in new ICOs with a good project
4764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Often Do you Bet on Politics? on: November 20, 2019, 09:59:15 AM
Politics seems predictable most of the time but looks like few people actually bet on it. Example, you know Joe Bidden has probably 50% chance of winning the Democrats primary. What stops you from picking and betting on that? Do you bet on politics and what are your winning stats.

Some time around October 2016 after the Access Hollywood tape was released, a certain betting site gave 108 to Trump winning the election. I believed strongly that Trump was going to win despite everything thrown at him. I had $5,000 and wanted to pick the odd. Somehow, I didn't follow through. That could have given me over half a million dollars in winning.

How often do you bet on Politics? Any reason why most people don't really bet on Politics? Do you know any trusted betting site that offers good odds in American Politics?
Before that election Hillary Clinton was widely published that she is going to win the election the odds does not favor trump that is why he has a higher odd however and surprisingly Trump won personally I never consider him him winning that election, I believed gamblers prefers staking or betting on daily basis rather than a longer term betting synonymous with politics and losing such a bet in politic despite waiting so long for the outcome of an election would be very disappointing not encouraging when there are diverse aspects of betting.
4765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People are underutilizing Bitcoin on: November 20, 2019, 04:36:54 AM
Full article: https://www.forrestvisions.com/blog/people-are-underutilizing-bitcoin

People need to start accepting Bitcoin and keeping it, not converting it.

If you think of Bitcoin as just a virtual placeholder for fiat currency, stable coins will be the future and Bitcoin will slowly fade away.

Thoughts?
Bitcoin is not meant to kept or hodl but a peer to peer P2P virtual currency meant for transactions if you read Satoshi whitepaper you would understand better, some bitcoin hodlers nowadays are having the impression that bitcoin is to be used as a store of value thus for any pump in the price they sell off part or the whole coin.
4766  Economy / Speculation / Re: Devastating signal: bear market, 6.4k support, 12.4 resistance on: November 19, 2019, 12:09:43 PM
You have an interesting analysis. I seem to believe that we're still on the bull market but looks I'm wrong with that.
But the trend is still clear towards the 7k area.
$6.4k - $7k as the support still looks great. What's your analysis at the end of this year?
I hope the price is rejected at that $6.4K to $7K support that is the last hope for the price else we may see more bearish movement to $5K although based on daily chart the price is already showing bearish exhaustion thus a likely upward movement is imminent I hope the price reach $10K before the end of this year.
4767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My research for spam coins/tokens on: November 19, 2019, 10:59:46 AM
The non regulation of cryptoshphere is partly responsible for the turn out of those shits coins or tokens majority of developres of these coins are out there to scam unsuspecting investors I thinks its high time drastic measures should be taken to weed out those shitcoins,  their fraudulent activities has been painting the entire cryptoworld in a bad light, there should sensitization on the need for crypto enthusiast to focused more on the already established cryptos like bitcoin, ethereum, BCH. LTC etc.
4768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks do not control my bitcoins - Zimbabwe News! on: November 19, 2019, 09:25:54 AM
The earlier government controlled authorities knows the benefits of bitcoin the better, Zimbabwe as a case study had shown the lapses and shortcomings in using fiat and its over dependence and reliance having been controlled by a centralized system this had resulted to more inconveniency and hardship to their people who had excess fiat in their accounts but have been regulated to use a fixed amount for their daily transactions despite having many stuffs, goods and services to spend money on.
4769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Fiat or Crypto? on: November 19, 2019, 06:31:12 AM
Personally the ease in the use of cryptos had given me the opportunity to gamble using fiat and obviously done anonymously without showing up in any gambling shop or kiosk which is usually synonymous with those who use fiat to gamble. cryptos had provide a better platform and alternative methods at which I staked or placed bets easily in my comfort, although to cash out winnings I have no other alternatives than to use exchanges which at times is cumbersome and risky partly due to untrusted ones and non availability of escrows.
4770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you close your Bank account, when your Bank turn against Crypto? on: November 19, 2019, 05:29:12 AM
We see a lot of these Banks that wants to sabotage Bitcoin and Crypto currencies by closing people's Bank accounts. When this happened in

countries like Australia, some people closed their Bank accounts in support of these people and they moved their business to other Banks that

supported Crypto currencies. They also took this to court and the court decided that this was anti-competitive behavior and they were forced to

stop that. So, the question is simple : Would you close your Bank accounts, when your Bank turn against Crypto?

Do we need new Banks that would go up against these large Banks to facilitate the conversion of Fiat to Crypto currencies? I think Banks doing this

will quickly change their policies, once millions of people start moving their accounts to Banks that supports Crypto currencies.

We do not need Banks, because P2P conversion is possible without Banks, but it just makes things so much easier for people dealing with exchanges.

What do you say? Please participate in the Poll.  Tongue
Any bank that is anti-crypto I am not going to do business with them I see crypto as a financial revolution thus as an alternative to bank every individual should have freedom on what to with their money, banks sees cryptos as a major threat to their existence even as P2P transactions in cryptos is swift and fast thus putting more pressures on banks once the possibility of cashing out fiat from cryptos without banks then banking jobs would be on threshold of elimination.
4771  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade with USDT or BTC? on: November 18, 2019, 03:41:46 PM
I use to lose most of the time in trading and it's giving me headache. I want to ask to you guys which trading pair is better preference in bear/bull markets, whether you trade with BTC  pairing during bull market or USDT pairing in bear market? I need a suggestion from community.
In my case I am not really consigned with whether its USDT or BTC I only trade based on chart analysis i.e candlestick formation irrespective of the pair eg BTC/USD, BNB/BTC, ETH/BTC  etc during bull or bear market  I look at the price action and check areas where I can buy or sell with stop loss and take profit, you should try analyse and devise better way to trade with those pair that making you to lose your trades.
4772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs really DEAD or simply cleared a path for better projects? on: November 18, 2019, 02:26:16 PM
I think ICO and IEO totaly dead. Too many scam projects have killed this market.
Even if some new projects try to do ICO, they will not be successful. People simply will not invest, having experience with previous scam ICO.
In addition to your post the unfavorable general market condition of cryptos (bearish) would be difficult for any ICO to survive in the cryptosphere an ICO that was launched last year April even reached Soft cap had not been listed citing one in genuine reasons or the other I remembered during the peak period of bitcoin in 2017 to early 2018 a lot of ICOs easily reached their Hard Cap and Soft Cap thanks to the bullish runs of the market.
4773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Informed is Your Country's Police About Crypto? on: November 18, 2019, 10:11:24 AM
Police in my country were not trained about crypto related stuffs in fact they have zero knowledge about it even the so-called IT-unit has limited or no knowledge about it because it is not part of their training, we are all aware of transactions of cryptos is done anonymously thus very difficult for a non knowledgeable persons to track or arrest people involved it, how can a policeman with zero knowledge in crypto identifies an ordinary wallet? he may assume that its just an ordinary gaming App.
4774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup of Nation Discussion Thread || Current Phase: Qualification. on: November 17, 2019, 10:32:59 PM
It's actually quite shameful on the part of DSTV because they are based in Africa and we are unable to watch the African Cup of Nations qualifiers meanwhile we are able to watch the European qualifiers. Anyways Nigeria are currently leading Lesotho by 3 goals to one which is not very surprising.

Don't mind them although in their defense they're going after the demand of their customers and general public. AFCON qualification aren't that much of a big deal, the main tournament is where everyone is interested in, some just prefer seeing the scoreline or rewatching highlight of the qualifiers but still they're Africans best sport cable providers, they can do better. The match Nigeria vs Lesotho ended 4-1 in favor of Nigeria.

Goals from Osimhen (2goals and 2 assists), Iwobi and Chukwueze secured Nigeria the win after falling behind by an earlier goal from Lesotho. Nigeria are at the top of their group.

The match ended 4-2 in favor of Nigeria while Benin defeated sierra-Leone by a lone goal it would had been shock if Nigeria losses to a lowly Lesotho while parading the likes of Iwobi. chukwueze, osimehin etc over all its a good match, once again Nigeria establishing their dominance in Africa football, Yesterday Ivory coast defeated minnow Niger by a lone goal while playing at home, that scoreline is not very encouraging considering the arrays of stars paraded by the host like pepe, coulibaly etc.
4775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where are the positive news and those users? on: November 17, 2019, 09:24:35 PM
There is a trend in this forum whenever there is a dump there will be a group of people who will spam the forum with FUD and then there are a set of people post unrealistic things will bitcoin will cross $50k if it pumps by few hundred dollars,  right now I don't see anyone predicting the price. Does it mean people have learnt no one can predict the price or just waiting for right moment again?
I always read such post especially in speculation thread, what astonished me most is the unrealistic prediction of the price of bitcoin without any proof to back up those predictions I believed those behind those predictions does so to achieve certain aim recalled when bitcoin attained ATH in 2017 a lot of prediction then that its price would reach $50K was spread as FUD then which prompted a lot newbies to buy at peak thus losing their investment.
4776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LiteCoin or ETHEREUM? Best Investment option. on: November 17, 2019, 07:37:04 AM
Both litecoin and ethereum are like sleeping giant waiting for the appropriate catalyst that would trigger them from rest thus the appropriate period to buy them is now although nothing is in the swing now that might push up the price, however the future outlook of crytos in 2020 seems to be very bright thus a wise decision for any trader or investor is to buy now and accumulate based on low pricing of the two coins now.
4777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Red trust account users can still introduce good bounties on: November 17, 2019, 06:37:37 AM
It doesn't mean that red trusted accounts are in hands of bad people, it only tells you that you should be more cautious when you trade with this account.
Red trusted managers of higher ranks are more preferable to a newbie account, higher ranks must have managed a lot of previous successful bounties with a proven records I always checked their profile to find out the cause of the red trust before deciding to promote their bounties,  the negative trust might not be related to scams however  I will be cautious to work with them again.
4778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TRX / BTC Long term hold plan on: November 17, 2019, 05:28:21 AM
Your technical analysis on TRX/BTC is on the point, personally for the pair to achieve the desire profits for a trader result ie profit is subject to the over all price movement of bitcoin. if the positive news about the halving of bitcoin next year is anything to go by then this this the best period to buy TRX/BTC for a long term investment however a setback to the movement in the price could be from team as mentioned above however I would prefers sticking with BTC/USD.
4779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why are you gambling? on: November 17, 2019, 04:22:30 AM
I run a small poll, on the topic of "Why you gamble," it goes without saying why you chose the option.
I would also like to know how old you started to gamble?

If you select an option(1,23,4,5,6), reply

1.Enjoying- How much money does it go to weekly?
2.I love- Do you also like alcohol, as you like gambling?
3.Hope for a win- How much did you earn in one day?
4.Fun- You play Ofline or online casino?
5.I'm addicted- Ever since you found out you are a betting addict, what is your problem, does your father, grandfather or anybody else gamble a lot?
6.Other- What is the option, explain us a little better?
I gamble just because of the fun of it, I am an ardent soccer lover I always deploy my skills in analyzing and predicting soccer matches to bet thus enjoying the fun of it while always cautious of the amount of money I use to place my bet of course maximum of 2% of my investment.
I am not a gambling addict thus nobody knows my habit as a gambler because I anonymously do my things thanks to internet and cryptocurrencies.
4780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trade Bitcoin - AVOID "Get Rich Quick" Shit Coin Pump and Dump on: November 17, 2019, 03:25:46 AM
Traders and investors are becoming wise now and getting cautious about this pump and dump shitcoins invariably knowing that it is a ploy targeted at newbies, investors are now aware that bitcoin and ethereum are probably the most stable coins in the cryptosphere now thus invested in them 'buying low and selling high' is the simple logic that require some learning to trade these coins and become profitable.
