4781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Emotion management is one of the key to successful trading. on: June 29, 2020, 11:26:13 PM
The worst enemy when trading is "yourself". This is what I always remember when trading. We may be able to analyze the market, control our funds, but we may sometimes not control our mental and emotion so that we can be lost because of our greediness, panic, worries (fear and also nervous), and also uncertainty.
I ever read about good sentences:
Quote
Analyzing the markets and having a good background for each trade that you’re taking can make wonders in controlling your emotions. The more you actually research the markets, the less you have a gambler’s mentality. This will also help keep your emotions under control.
It means that learning by doing, more experiences will make us much better in managing our emotions, mental, funds, and also diversity.
Sometimes, what makes us lose our emotion management is the reality doesn't meet the expectation. We may be sure that we will win and get a lot of profits this time, but the fact is that the market changing so easily and we lose it.

Whereas, there are some terms that are very influencing in trading:
- Fund management
- Emotion management
- Risk management
- Mind matters

everyone will change and be better if they do more trading..

4782  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to easily buy and sell Bitcoin in Nigeria. on: June 29, 2020, 11:12:01 PM
I'm here to guide noobs in Nigeria on how to buy/sell Bitcoin or any other person interested in knowing how to exchange Bitcoin for fiat and vice versa in Nigeria.
2.Luno
yes, Luno is the best choice if there no trusted local exchange in the country. Moreover, it also offers low fees, easy, and safe enough to buy the crypto asset.

What's about NairaEx?
This is Nigeria's Premier Bitcoin Exchange, isn't it? Is it reliable enough and trusted as a local exchange in that country? I see that this exchange provides instant trading with real-time and also automated payments. It also accepts the payment with bank and cards. Probably you can search for more information about it to analyze whether this is trusted and reliable or not.
4783  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Note to newbies on: June 29, 2020, 11:03:52 PM
Welcome to the forum. Take your time to read and evaluate every possible detailed threads about rules and guidelines of the forum.
Sometimes I'm really fun of the facts that many newbies are lazy to read them. they only post a thread likely "Hi, I'm new here, please help me to know this forum".. And although they are led to the Beginners & Help, I don't think that they may read and search for basic information over there. Moreover, when after they made a post and left it without any replies again by them. So sad to know this fact, but this is such very common to find.  Grin Grin

Be wary of scams, don't go around following people promising to double your funds within the shortest period of time,
this is exactly one of the reasons why many newbies are the legit target of scammers. Moreover when they at first post thread about "how to earn money here? How to be rich here, I heard from my friend that we can be rich quickly here?"  Grin
Well, they may come to this forum to be rich soon. And then the scammers contact them to join their very super promising with very legit earning that make them rich overnight. but that is exactly a scam. this common to happen.

Actually, I don't blame the newbies. Some newbies are actually good, they follow the rules, willing to read and learn about the rules and regulation and all basic or important information in this forum. But, it is not all of the newbies can do this.

So, this is your choice as a newbie, to be smart newbie or a lazy newbie that comes here only to earn money quickly (but it is nothing to do)

...but I work as a moderator and therefore you will win" and "pay me half of your winning money to continue"[/b]
And I'm sure that he sent the similar email to others and promise that they will win because he is the moderator.
This is exactly a scam and whoever that believes this is really annoying.  Grin

I appreciate your efforts to analyze more about the website and its game so that you are not scammed. And by telling here, we can stop this kind of scam probabilities that may also be received by many more members here.

It is not a kind of new idea of scamming in the gambling world. moreover, nowadays, gambling world is really changing and they are developing very well, moreover during this pandemic using online gambling. of course, many scammers have their latest ideas to scam the victims and play their structured and also interesting ays to scam.
4785  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Does Anyone know good webpage to buy bitcoin with credit card..Please Help!! on: June 29, 2020, 10:30:49 PM
..I am from Japan and binance doesn't support my country, i also tried some Swiss exchange and Estonia exchanger they turn out to be a scam, i need really quick webpage to buy btc and i also hate simplex..
is there any local exchange in Japan? Does one of them receive the credit card for payment?
I found these https://coincheck.com/ and https://bitflyer.com/ja-jp/ as reputable exchanges there. You may be able to analyze them and try them by transferring your fund's fiat bank or even the credit card.

If you re looking for global exchange, I think that Coinmama is the most reputable global exchange that also available in Japan. This is also available for buying with a credit card. However, commonly they need the KYC process in order to ensure your identity and real human.
4786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Whats A Good Telegram To Join? on: June 28, 2020, 11:32:24 PM
I'm looking to expand my investment strategies, I recently invested $1,000 into ethereum & have come across new softwares & systems like http://crazyfastcrypto.com .
Are you really investing your $1k in that software and system? Do you really trust those sites for your big investment? Are you sure that you can get those big profits? It sounds very legit and promising but worries about it, I don't believe in such kind of investment with big profits and easy ways. However, if you have analyzed it clearly and carefully, the decision is yours.
or, do you only make it a promotion to attract other people to join?

Well, if you are looking for the telegram group community to get revolves around ETH specifically, I don't have any ideas. But you may search on your country community in order to get easier information.
4787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Neo can be future crypto rival on: June 28, 2020, 11:26:00 PM
It has been several times that NEO is considered the promising rival of the ETH, and moreover the BTC.
However, until now, this crypto doesn't give a big impact or even a promising system that can ensure and attract more people as investors and also use the platform. So far, ETH is still better for this kind of system.
However, if it is related to what happened in China, I think that it will not give a big impact because the country also has their own digital coin. however, if China will also concern about NEO, will it give a big influence on the ETH? probably yes, but it may not big enough. ETH still becomes the biggest platform that most projects use it. But of course, we cannot determine what will happen tomorrow.
4788  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold Price Prediction & its impact on cryptocurrencies on: June 28, 2020, 11:19:04 PM
Gold is considered one of the valuable assets for investment, moreover for long term investment. What makes gold so special? At least, there are three features of gold as the basic criteria and also features:
Quote
  • It is relatively durable
    It is relatively rare
Its industrial uses are limited and substitutes for gold in the industry are plentiful

Besides, gold is also valuable because of some reasons:
1. there is the weakness of the fiat (especially USD)
2. Inflation Hedge
3. Deflation Protection
4. Limited Supply Constraints
5. Increasing Demand
6. Portfolio Diversification
7. Gold is available to be investment assets, stock, jewelry, and also other function.

In this case, I'm not good at predicting the price and I don't have any ideas about it. however, the value of gold will never decrease, it will always increase during the time, moreover when there are most demand and limited supply.

related to the price of the crypto-backed by the gold, it will depend on their initial product. If the price is set following the price of gold, of course yes, the price of the crypto-backed by gold will also be increasing if the project still exists.
4789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Blockchain gambling are ushering in new development opportunities? on: June 28, 2020, 11:05:42 PM
Why not? this is the innovation of technology, technology will need certain development in order to follow the flow of technological progress and development in the world. So far, gambling (both online and offline) cannot be removed. Every country will have this kind of mater. Moreover now, online gambling is everywhere and can be accessed by most people in most countries. No worry about government rule because sometimes we can make it secret and play gambling online easily and securely. it doesn't matter anymore.

Nowadays, some blockchain industries also focus on developing the gambling industry using this technology, moreover accepting crypto as one of the payment methods. If it is continuing again, this means that new development opportunities by gambling based on blockchain will be in real, it can be available to be conducted.
4790  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without banks, is it possible to move physical currencies to Crypto? on: June 28, 2020, 10:47:17 PM
Thee main question is not to entirely avoid transaction fees. The war behind crypto and blockchain mainly is to eliminate the banking sector. If the war is won, How do we then move our physical currencies to Crypto exchanges?
It may be different for each country where there are rules and regulations that we cannot avoid. As in my country, the crypto is legal to be a digital asset only, but not for payment. In this case, it relates to the involvement of banks in the crypto world is still high. We can say that they still have big power because backed by the government. But it may be different if the country has legalized crypto as asset and also payment. The government may give space to crypto to grow very well.

It begs me to ask this question; is it possible for one to move physical currencies to Crypto exchanges without passing through the Bank?
For now yes, there are some ways of converting our fiat to crypto without passing banks directly. Although it will always pass the bank account at the end.
Nowadays, besides fiat by banks and also the crypto world, there are also some choices of e-wallets or digital money. It is a cashless transaction. However, it may seem like not passing the banks., but in fact, it is still the involvement of banks when transferring.

So, it means that for now, it is  still very difficult to separate with banks
4791  Economy / Reputation / Re: Earned Merit Race Animation - See if you ever got to top20 merited. on: June 27, 2020, 11:53:22 PM
Nice animation, @bitmover. That showed me a bit how the historical development of merits from some top ranks in bitcointalk.
But I am curious where some previous top ones on the list right now. It seems some of them disappeared or eliminated on the list.
Is there a place that I can see the list of all the member names on the animation? It is much better if the names are clickable and directly go to their profiles.
4792  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Holding 9000$ Support on: June 27, 2020, 11:20:16 PM
I think that it is quite difficult to predict what will happen to the price next, moreover for the 2 days later. this market is so volatile, Bt sometimes the price of BTC is sideways. I am not a good trader that can analyze the chart of the BTC market graphic. So, I don't know enough about the high level or down that will be faced by this coin.

However, so far, its range is at $9k and I don't want that this coin will be under $9k for a longer time. Better to stay up more than $9k. However,r the price will be also based on how the market will be. So far, in some current days, the BTC gets bearish time although it is not significant enough.
4793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: June 26, 2020, 11:56:16 PM
-snip- hopefully they will do one goal and have end with draw -snip-
Your prediction is true, the match ended in a draw. Check this: https://www.flashscore.com/match/Qw2tnFRR/#match-summary
I think with this draw, Atletico Madrid will be calmer to face Barcelona on the first day of next month (01.07.2020). Although they probably lose the match with Barcelona, they will stay in the third position on the table. But of course, they must win against Alaves tomorrow (28.06.2020) to maintain the third position.
4794  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this right on: June 26, 2020, 11:34:57 PM
Seeing from the thread post in this forum and on the Medium, it was posted by the same username "bitrefill" and was posted on the same date "Jun 25".
Well, we can consider that the author of the post is the same.
He also has added the link source of the thread, so we can see also the article.

In this case, it may not be categorized as plagiarism because it is his writing.
However, in my opinion, it is better if the OP of that thread:
1. Write a simple paraphrase about the article in simpler words and sentences, and more completely he can add the link in order to the people to visit the link of Medium. It will give benefit him because he will also get visitors and readers on his medium article account.

2. As I said, some people may prefer to read the core of the article simply, not the whole writing in this forum. So, if it is paraphrased in shorter and simpler sentences, many more people may be interested to read entirely.

3. If he really wants to add the whole article to be posted in this forum, it is better to make additional information as the preface of the thread, stating that this thread is also posted in medium link....., tell also the objective of posting the thread. It will be better.
4795  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can btc be use to purchase crude oil on: June 26, 2020, 11:23:15 PM
From my perspective, it's obvious that in next ten (10) years bitcoin will be centralised and it can be use for exchange of product's in all ramifications and it will dominate any other currencies across the world.
I really don't think that Bitcoin will be centralized, Bitcoin will be always decentralized, as what it's initial characteristic and also aim.
f the BTC will be used as a payment method to buy many more services and products around the world, it doesn't mean that BTC should be centralized. It will be still decentralized and it is available to be used for payment method, as what it can do right now. The difference is probably in the next 10 years later, the use of BTC for payment in the world will be spreading, many more merchants or services will accept it, many more countries will legalize the BTC for not only a digital asset but also for payment method.
So, it doesn't need to be centralized.
4796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ICO vs Bad ICO on: June 26, 2020, 11:05:14 PM
If you are a newbie, it better for you to go to Beginners & Help before learning about how to find good ICO and participating in a bounty. Why do I suggest it to you? Because I was also the same as you in the past time, I really want to earn money from bounty without lending it first, and then I only focus on the bounty. This was false. I should learn it from the basics here, how to be a good member that can contribute well to this forum so that as one of the impacts, I could get the merits to rank up. However, it is only one of the impacts. the most important thing by learning from the Beginners & Help section is that you can find so much information about what to do as a newbie, how to rank up, rule, regulation in this forum, about the scam, and also important information about this forum and crypto world. So, never lazy to learn first. For, during reading, you can find a lot of information that you need and you can decide what to do next, which project to participate, and which one to avoid.

Second, during the time, when you have been giving more contribute in this forum, you don't only get the knowledge and ways to choose the legit bounty but also get your rank up. SO, you can participate in the legit bounty easily. You know, right now, there are many campaigns that are paid in BTC. You can also be one of the participants although there are many competitors. So, try your best.

ANd about the ICO, I think that ICO has been ended. If you are going to join a bounty, you must choose the projects that have an exchange for listing, IEO may be better to choose. But of course, analyze their projects, whitepaper, and also what exchanges they list.

4797  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Read and Learn bounty managers on: June 25, 2020, 11:58:19 PM
Bubbalex is a trusted bounty manager and we know how selective he chooses a project that wants to provide a bounty. But we must understand that it isn't a guarantee for all his bounties to be successful. Even Bubbalex have done everything properly and be selective, there is always a chance for not good ending on his bounties.

He ever said, "I am not a perfect one".

So, basically we must do our own research even it is a bounty managed by Bubbalex. Cartesi or Ferrum are really great examples of successful bounties managed by Bubbalex, but it doesn't mean all bounties will result in the same way.

However, I really appreciate Bubbalex, he did great work and maintain idealism to run bounties from good projects only. I hope he will survive a long time to manage bounties and be one of the top bounty managers.

Cheers!!
4798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: "Poker Tournaments" are reopening little by little. on: June 25, 2020, 11:48:46 PM
On March 2020, there are a lot of poker tournaments which are postponed due to this Covid-19 pandemic.
Well, the impact of this pandemic is really big for the gambling industry. it is not only for the gamblers but also for the industry itself, the people working in it and also people getting or earning money around the casinos. As we can see in LA, many resorts, casinos, clubs, and other economic fields are closed and it really gives a depressed impact tot he society.
However, we can ignore the health protocol in order to avoid and limit the spreading of the coronavirus. This cannot be a dilemma because we must choose one the best from some undesired choices.

There are some casinos that are reopened in May to continue operating
This option may be hard to decide because to reopen the gambling casino or only for poker, it needs certain permission and also ways that follow the health protocol. When casinos decide to reopen, they must be ready about what should be done including the criteria of playing poker (different rules probably for the health protocol), how they can enter the casinos, and how they interact. Although some people may ignore the rules, the casinos must be strongly making tight rules in order to make the casino open well and avoid spreading of the virus.

Do you think this will bring a huge development or improvement in a Gambling Industry? Will poker be the only safest option to play gambling right now?
I cannot say this, but they really need development in the gambling industry. For online gambling, this is a good chance. however, for physical gambling, it may be dilemma. Moreover what expectation fo the development if the gambling industry is now experiencing depression?
4799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos are open - end of the Pandemic era. on: June 23, 2020, 09:59:11 PM
The Casinos in my country also opened their doors, but it is for VIP members only.
What does it mean by allowing VIP members only?
Is it a way to limit the number of visitors to casinos, buddy?
Yep, I support the idea to apply strict precautionary measures. This should be the right option as it is too risky if suddenly allow all people to visit casinos. People are hard to control if they are in a big number. But it should be easier to control once the visitors are limited. Moreover, they are VIP members who are probably already having a good reputation. They will obey even the casinos apply more strict rules nowadays.

Damn, after I. Rakitić replaced Busquets, Barca made one goal. Now, it is not 0-0 anymore, Barca is leading with 1 goal. The question is "can Bilbao make 1 goal and end the game with 1-1 score?" Dear Barca fans, the game isn't over yet, there is enough time to make 1 goal for Bilbao. @snipie, are you still praying, buddy?  Grin
