4781  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sharing My Personal Trades on: December 25, 2019, 05:59:55 PM
I manage a community with over 4000+ Crypto Traders all over the world.
It would be always too good to include proper references like URLs and vouches from known/trusted people of this forum who is also in your community. Just plain words will not work mostly. I mean to say instead of simply saying about your past experience, it would be much better to skip them and focusing on your performance will definitely get more reputation rather than looking for it to bring from your previous workplace.

In this thread, I will share our personal entries & exits of each trade.
You are most welcome to share your personal trades. Because, it will definitely give some idea for those people who are all looking for what exactly to do with crypto trading. Even they will not be following you for real-time trading, I guess your sharing definitely will give them some guidelines about what to do and what should be avoided.
4782  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Excessive confidence in cryptocurrency trading. on: December 25, 2019, 03:14:51 PM
Some traders and investors think that when trading with crypto currency, one must be bold and confident and make quick decisions. Is excessive confidence in cryptocurrency trading better than doubt and fear, or is it a big drawback?
They are all the same thing. Imagine that you’re doubting a good price prediction and all of a sudden there is a bull run and then you miss out from the profit you would have made if you invested at the early time, so that’s what doubt have caused you.

Although the good thing is that you only missed out on a good opportunity to buy, but you didn’t lose your money. Now, it gets worse when you start having fear, or like we do say – FOMO. You then happen to rush in out of FOMO and boom, the price crash and you lose your money. Having too much of confidence is close to having fear, so you should try to keep yourself in check. There are people who would be having any of these and they hardly notice it.
4783  Economy / Economics / Re: Your plan if no significant move on Bitcoin price along with the halving? on: December 25, 2019, 06:17:13 AM
I don’t really know for sure if I’m going to continue holding Bitcoin if there is no increase after the halving. I’d sure like to Hodl, but when things seem like they are not going to work out, then I will have to create a new plan that’s going to work out for the situation I’m in. If after the halving and Bitcoin seems to retain a price that is above what I purchased at, then I will continue to hold.

But, if it starts to fall to the extent it seems like it’s literally going to crash to the extent I will lose too much, I will sell my coins. Well, I am not hoping that this happens lol, I really want the price to increase after the halving.

Well, personally I think another 100K high price will be logical and I have high hopes that it will happen, don't think that there won't be significant move, if that happens, then I will sell all of my bitcoins and try to keep alive instead of being dead.
I guess you may expect at least 5x growth and the maximum may be 20x or 100x like the past. But, we cannot be sure that would happen immediately after halving. Because in the past, halving trigger bull markets very slowly like after some 6 to 10 months of time. Also, I like to suggest you not to quit all your BTC holding at a time. Sell some % which could transform your life and save the rest within bitcoins and you may tack me after decades for sure.
4784  Economy / Economics / Re: One faithful day that change my life. :) on: December 25, 2019, 05:22:10 AM
My question is what stock or asset did you invest in? You never mentioned what exactly you invested in. Well, I feel sorry for your loss, that’s why you shouldn’t jump at anything your friends or anyone tells you. Some friends are just bad friends and they come into your life to destroy it and after they have done that they will leave.

Why didn’t he help you as a good friend? Instead he recommended that you take more than $200k loans and waste them again in stocks. You made a huge mistake, the right thing you should have done after securing those loans should be to start up a good business. If you’re a good chef you can go for that or start any other business you know that you’re good at, or even search for a job.

Borrowed money is not something you use for investment, because you know for sure that they are risky and once you lose that money there is no other place you can get it back.
4785  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin might be over but blockchain will live on: December 24, 2019, 07:04:20 PM
Bitcoin has one purpose, that purpose will never die but it lacks all the flexibility blockchain has. Bitcoin is a currency and even if the world suddenly has a change of hearts (not possible, just making a point) and everyone starts using bitcoin and there is no more fiat in the world, that is still a currency and nothing more.

Blockchain is a lot more than that, blockchain could be used for many many things and it is certainly something that could be improved constantly to take shape whatever you want with it. I personally can't think of anything myself but we see developers constantly building newer and better things via blockchain. That is why blockchain could find itself a lot more spaces to continue living, not just finance related but anything could use blockchain.
4786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are investors pulling out of Libra? on: December 24, 2019, 06:31:51 PM
It was obvious in the first sentence, they do not want to deal with the regulatory problems that comes with creating something like this. Facebook thinks they could just build some sort of code and release it and be done with it but it is fortunately for us not that simple for them. A company as gargantuan as Facebook can't get away with creating their own coin and make billions of dollars in profit from transactions without anyone checking it over.

Yeah, there are banks that get away with many stuff but at least they are checked properly most of the time, unregulated coin printing could only lead to horrible results. They need to be careful and they need to abide the laws like everyone else does. Proper regulations and Libra following them perfectly could lead to a great innovation tho.
4787  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betroar.io – Try Bit Brawlers! 💰 UPDATE 11/26: .001 BTC Airdrops Extended! 💰 on: December 24, 2019, 05:50:21 PM
I still have just one slight tiny bit about the website, there is a HUGE button on right on the top of the home page that says "claim My FREE bitcoin and Start Playing" yet whenever you click it you get nothing.

Now, I don't mind not getting anything, nobody is forced to share money with other people and that is something we can live with, but if you are not going to give people any free money than maybe you should not have that huge banner on the homepage of your website neither? Or if you want to give money then you should fix the banner so people could get the free bitcoin you claim you can get. Whatever option you go with, it will certainly be better than the current situation where there is a claim of free bitcoin but when clicked nothing happens.
I guess they are still working on getting their website fully fixed, having a website with this many bugs that could potentially hurt the business itself is not good for them neither.

I understand gamblers don't think about the casino most of the time because they only care about how much money they have and that is the main point for them but at the same time if a casino goes bankrupt while you have money inside that will hurt you as well so you should hope that the website is perfect but you just happen to win.

Things look like they are taking a bit time, I don't know how easy or hard it is because I am not a developer myself but I can sense that this beta wasn't as successful as they imagined it would be with the amount they gave away as well. Maybe they should hire some developer help from someone who can fix the issues faster?
4788  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: December 23, 2019, 05:54:33 PM
BITCOIN PRICE 2019 is currently pending with 3.6 BTC prize pool. I bet on $10k so I would win in this one if the price were $7,500+ at midnight of the 31st of December 2019, but my bet size was small anyway, so, although I think I'm going to win, it's not gonna be that interesting.

What about you, guys? Did anyone make a decent bet on this event?

I don't see the bet. Has it already been taken down or something?

What's visible is the December 2020 one.

It is probably taken down because we are already almost at the end of 2019 and the outcome is pretty much clear. (Under $10k now but there is still a small chance it will be over $10k)

If you have seen the 2020/December bet, you will see that there are many other prices to bet on like $50k, $100k etc.

Since these are out of the picture and can't happen in a week, they took it down.
I know the results are still quite close to each other and we are not away from either 10k nor 5k but it looks like maaaybe 5k may end up winning, for the most of the year we have seen people who have wagered towards 10k because that was literally the most close thing out of all other options but the recent few months have seen increasingly close to 5k results.

We are around 7k at all times in the past few weeks, over 7.5k means the 10k result will win and under 7.5k will end up being going to 5k, both of which is still quite possible, if the bet wasn't on pending and I could still bet on it, I still wouldn't have courage to bet on anything at the last week of 2019 when we had time for the whole year, which shows nobody really knows what bitcoin will ever do.
4789  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. 🏆 on: December 23, 2019, 05:07:30 PM
Everyone needs someone in their lives that loves them as much as sportsbet loves Watford. Dudes literally gave away free money for EVERYONE just to celebrate a win. I am sure it must be a horrible feeling for Manchester united to lose against Watford who is dead last in the league (now tied for the bottom) but for us the people who love Watford for whatever happens (well I like them only because crypto related sponsor) it was a great win.

They are still 6 points in the relegation, do you think they have enough to cover that distance? It is only 18 games into the season and they can still make a comeback in the second half and earn more points, definitely not an easy task and definitely will be very challenging but it doesn't look impossible if you ask me.
4790  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright: "BTC is not Bitcoin" on: December 23, 2019, 11:48:40 AM
This doesn't make any sense. First he was claiming that he owns, so I guess he never realized that the BTC he was claiming back then was also Bitcoin lol. Since, he lost his claim on Bitcoin I guess he will be trying other things possible now to pull it down, yup. He's just going to do anything possible to take it down because his plans never worked out. I am even surprised that he shows his face in public lol, he should be ashamed after everything that has happened but he is not.

From the beginning we all have known that Bitcoin is BTC, so one man coming to tell us all that they are different, he's making the wrong move.
4791  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥BITSLER > $20,000 Wagering contest + $5,000 Free challenges + Cashback/Chests on: December 22, 2019, 07:57:29 AM
Looking at the new game (when I am writing this maintenance is over) the game called "blast" is just basically a crash game that we all know from the crypto casino world already. I am not saying that is a bad thing, bitsler adding a new game is always great if you ask me, hell any website adding a new game is great because it gives people a chance to gamble on different games when they get bored of the games they are currently playing.

I don't understand houses with just dice game in it for example, I can gamble on dice time to time and I enjoy it but you can't expect me to gamble on dice forever, I will get bored and will want to play another game which means adding multiple games allows me to first play x game and when I get bored move to Y then to Z then back to X if I want.
4792  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com SPORTS BETTING NOW LIVE! 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 on: December 21, 2019, 05:11:08 PM
I have never truly seen a max bet on stake or even primedice. They don't make that an official thing they notice to everyone. I personally never really tried the max bet since I never had that type of money before. 51 bitcoin was capable of being wagered which means that is 51 bitcoin is not really a max bet.

If you want we could maybe reach to support and ask them what the maximum bet for the sportsbook is and maybe it is same as all other places and I have seen 60-70 bitcoin in max bets. The reality is 99.99% of all people who gamble here will never even attempt to reach those levels since noone has that kind of money. Very very few people have that much money and even less people with that much money want to gamble with it.
4793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fleas are going down! on: December 21, 2019, 04:06:46 PM
Some people here are just too dump Shocked. Okay, the OP said fleas, of course we know that was a typo error and wasn't what he meant to write and he already explained that in the body of his post – he's trying to say that the fees for doing Bitcoin transaction have reduced and some people are here commenting wrongly. Seriously, some comments here must be annoying.

To the OP: the fees are down but I don't think they will be down for long, especially now that we all are expecting the price to go up. As the price goes up the fees will go with it, just like it happened back in 2017 during the last bull run because when bulls are back to action, more people will start transacting which will lead to possible network congestion.

As of now, tx fees are good and more people must adopt segwit to keep fees at possible low even in bull times.
4794  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Preparing for a recession... Gold or Bitcoin? on: December 21, 2019, 01:05:51 PM
People should make use of what they feel is much better and safer option for them. If you check and compare the graphs you will notice that Gold's price increase has been nearly uninterrupted, but Bitcoin has been falling heavily. A lot of people that pulled their money out from Bitcoin invested in stable coins like Tether to save their value and formulate new plans for going on Bitcoin for a longer term.

Anyone that wants to invest in Bitcoin should always have a good plan because Bitcoin is volatile and everything can spiral back down and you end up losing a huge percentage of your investment. If you invest at the right time you wouldn't really have to worry much. Gold is for those that doesn't even want to stress themselves about volatile market price.
4795  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 0.3 BTC Wagering Contest 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: December 20, 2019, 03:37:43 PM

Plinko is one of the oldest mathematical classes in the world, it had a different name in my country and I am sure the "class" name of it is different than plinko but in general there is a class taught about it.

It is a cool game that has a certain house edge and you know the risks and rewards while gambling and it is not like the other games, it is not about "you win" or "you lose" it is more about "how much you win" and "how much you lose" which is very different from all other games where you just lose the bet you wager or win whatever you wagered the odds for so I kinda like plinko for the difference in the nature of the results. It is also good to know that windice is still working hard on improving their house.
4796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralization or Scalability? on: December 20, 2019, 02:29:31 PM
Nah, a lot of people have a love for Bitcoin and the technology behind it, but nobody is ready to take the risk of losing their money. If Bitcoin was stable, then people wouldn't be looking at making money with it but would be more focused on using the technology.

Another question is - if Bitcoin was stable, how many people will be ready to make use of it? Maybe if it wasn't volatile as it is today a lot of people wouldn't have been interested and it would have just died off like that. If you check the story of those that started Bitcoin at the very first, they got into it because they saw it as an investment and not really as a payment method. Whatever you choose to see it as is up to you.
4797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Projects that failed to keep their promise in 2019 on: December 20, 2019, 01:35:48 PM
Here are some projects that get listed on exchanges but ignore bounty hunters and airdroppers like they don't exists
I don't really see why any team will refuse to pay bounty hunters for their hard work, if you promise people that you're going to pay them a certain amount for promoting your project then you should do just that, doing otherwise should be considered as a scam. I don't care whatever reason they might give for it, a scam is a scam. They shouldn't blame bounty hunters for a decrease in the rate of their Tokens, it's none of their business, they just did their job and they deserve to be paid for it.

dont know what the case might be with you but Nastree and sero paid, this are the projects I took part in and received my pay from them. Maybe you defaulted some rules or something
This is the reason, scams are not being moderated in this forum. We cannot have any general action against such devs as not paying the bounty rewards should be treated case by case. OP must start open accusation and I guess there are highly influence people are there in this forum and they may talk to exchanges to take action against scammy devs on proving situations.
4798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Venezuela & The Bitcoin on: December 19, 2019, 04:54:58 PM
The way I see it, it's only the rich in that country that will be able to invest in Bitcoin, the poor ones will be finding it difficult because the price of Bitcoin is high there. So, I don't really see how it's going to change things there, they should add more focus on fighting for a better economy and a good government to make things better for the country and the poor.

Bitcoin can't magically change a country's economy, something more has to be done, unless they will invest heavily in Bitcoin (more than other countries )  and hold till the price bubbles and they sell it, maybe that will have some impact. I doubt Venezuelan alone will be having power to pump bitcoin prices at least to the current ATH. If they will be able to do anything similar to that and making profits from their own pump then I believe bitcoin may give them some chances to find a immediate recovery from economic crisis in permanent manner too.
4799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will China Accept Bitcoin As A Currency? on: December 19, 2019, 03:57:47 PM
They are never going to do that.. No country will agree to do that at all. China is already creating their own cryptocurrency and news have it that they will be releasing it very soon. So, I don't think they are ever going to consider Bitcoin because they wouldn't like to see any rival supersede their own cryptocurrency. Use yourself as an example, imagine that you have a business, you wouldn't like another business to beat yours and that's the thing. They are likely not going to give Bitcoin a chance once they release theirs, and not just Bitcoin, including altcoins.

From what I have seen on the News they decided to take this move after Facebook announced their Libra, so that means they want to be at the top of everything.
4800  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥Playbetr.com🔥The Crypto Casino Sportsbook LIVE Dice 15 Coins-BTC ETH XMR+🔥 on: December 19, 2019, 10:30:56 AM
We have some great promotions coming.
Wow, that is really a great news in this festival time.

What they need to do is by doing more promotions. There is still lack of promotions from Playbetr since they came to this forum.
They lack a lot of whale incentives as well, many other places do competitions for example, the more you wager the more you will get back which ends up dropping the house edge for whales.

Yes, you may not profit a lot from them for a while or even maybe make a loss but after the promotion ends, some of them will stick around and gamble and lose money which would return that loss very easily and make some on top of it, if they make it a constant thing once a month that would equal to whales constantly finding out about this place.

Small fish is always important because you want hundreds of people active on the website but whales are the real people you make those profits from, you need god knows how many small fish to make 1 btc profit but one whale could lose that in matter of hours.
