4781  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: vidtoo controller Avalon controller on: May 30, 2021, 10:44:38 PM
I can't find so much information about this controller if it doesn't have an SD card slot then you can maybe flash it through SSH flashing or USB flashing using the provided firmware from Canaan.

I search and try to find some information on Google and found one thread here on the forum related to this controller but it has an SD card slot but he is trying to flash the controller without an SD card.

You can check this thread below and maybe you can get some information on how to flash it without an SD card.

4782  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Upgrade E9.3 on: May 30, 2021, 10:06:24 PM
Are you using a VPN while upgrading/flashing the miner on their WebGUI?
I just notice the VPN in your image URL I'm gonna make visible your image below to make it clear.

Try to disable the VPN or use a PC to access the WebGUI and try to flash/upgrade the miner again.
4783  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ANn thread developed using imgur images - is it a right way to do it? on: May 30, 2021, 12:08:24 AM
If just an image you still put a link on that image you just simply put the IMG BBcode inside the URL BBcode.

Sample this code below

Code:
[url=https://bitcointalk.org/][img]https://i.imgur.com/9qcDCw1.png[/img][/url]

The result must be this

Point the mouse at the image when you click it you will redirect to https://bitcointalk.org/ you can edit it with your own image and URL.

Next time if you are going to hire someone always use escrow or hire a designer which is a well-known designer here on the forum. For now, this is the only option if you want to get benefits from those images but next time hire someone that knows how to code them in BBcode.

Also, other links from the source are all useful for trading from technical analysis to any trading bots and crypto signals.
4785  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Coinbase don’t allow to withdraw on: May 29, 2021, 11:18:25 PM

According to the Coinbase site, this problem should not be related to the fact that the funds are on hold - because if I understood correctly, in that case the funds should be shown exclusively in fiat value. What is shown in the OP clearly shows that the account has more than 0.09 BTC, and at the same time Coinbase claims that there is no BTC to send, really strange, although there is probably some explanation.

If this is possible, then there is some kind of bug in the Coinbase site that prevents some users from disposing of their funds without any valid reason - it's not about "pending funds - or KYC".

Actually, the case is the same as mine the reason why they hold my funds on hold at that time they ask for KYC but I can't provide any documents to verify my account on Coinbase.

I just heard someone that to try it on the Coinbase app the bug is not on the site but on their app because they allow me to send or withdraw my funds out from their wallet without providing any documents.
4786  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kraken Withdrawing Fiat Currency on: May 28, 2021, 06:29:58 PM
I don't have experienced with Kraken but can you try to use incognito mode and try to withdraw again.

I would suggest you read their guide on how to add a bank in your account to withdraw your funds from Kraken to your bank account.

Here's the guide https://support.kraken.com/hc/en-us/articles/360048656092-How-to-withdraw-funds-from-your-Kraken-account

Or check other withdrawal option here https://support.kraken.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000423043-Cash-withdrawal-options-fees-minimums-and-processing-times-
4787  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Help getting started with the lightining network on: May 28, 2021, 05:48:00 PM
For me, at first, I can't understand how the lightning network works I tried it before and confused I can't even receive bitcoins before from someone until someone said that it needs a small amount to open a channel.

So, if you just heard about lightning from a friend I suggest you do research first and learn how does it work.

I would suggest this link below as a source of learning about the lightning network.

The link above also has a lightning network simulator I didn't test it yet but you can try and maybe you can practice there on how to make a channel and make a transaction.
4788  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum default coin selection on: May 28, 2021, 05:08:41 PM
You can manually choose what you want to spend on the coins tab if you want to reduce the fee but how about if you are going to spend them all in the future?

You still have many outputs so you will still pay a huge fee in the future if you are going to spend them all in one transaction.

They set Electrum to merge all UTXO by default and sent it to address destination and change address but if you don't want to pay a large fee always make a transaction when the network is not congested.

And I think they shouldn't need to change it in the future it depends on users if how they want to make a transaction on Electrum they can enable the coins tab and spend what coins they want to spend.
4789  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin futures trading - looking for advice on: May 28, 2021, 04:26:31 PM
Future trading(Leverage trading) is risky but if you know what you doing then you can easily make a good profit on high leverage trading.

I think the trade sizing you mean is the risk amount that you can lose for every trade you made. It is likely you want to stop-loss the trade when it touches to risk amount you set.

5% to 15% is usually traders risk amount of their investment if you want to make a profit then do scalping like what AicecreaME and do 1.5 ratios on a short position. I just recommend a 1.5 ratio due to trends but always check the resistance level and analyze the market before you set a short position.
4790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Need help - exchanges on: May 28, 2021, 02:14:06 PM
But i dont know what exchanges in 2014 existed.

If you can't see any exchanges from your email then try this one below as an alternative from jrrsparkles posted above

Sort them to the oldest one to find the exchanges that still exist at that time. After that try to log in to any exchanges before 2014 if you can't remember the password just try to use the forgot button and put the email that you used before. Let's hope that you can find the right exchange after you receive the recovery password.
4791  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How to open Bitcoin wallet.dat file offline. on: May 27, 2021, 07:09:33 PM
Do this first before you do all suggestion above.

Make sure to make an original copy of your wallet.dat because I heard someone here experience corrupted wallet.dat file after they imported it to the latest version of Bitcoin core wallet.
So for your wallet safety make sure you have the original wallet.dat and only use the copy file to import it into the Bitcoin core folder.
4792  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Coinbase don’t allow to withdraw on: May 27, 2021, 06:37:30 PM
I believe that they put these funds on hold.

If it's currently on hold you can't able to transfer or withdraw that BTC out from Coinbase.

Since you mention that he bought it for long time ago and maybe he just login recently I'm sure Coinbase will ask for a KYC process to verify if he is the true owner of that account.
Once they verified the KYC process he can able to transfer them to another wallet.

Also, can you tell your friend to try withdrawing the funds through the Coinbase app on Android. I have experienced months ago that I can't able to transfer my funds out from their wallet but someone told me to try to use the Coinbase app on Android and it works.
4793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New mining software on: May 27, 2021, 06:08:42 PM
I don't think he is talking about the Nicehash firmware he might be talking about the software itself that mostly mine coins on GPU rigs.

@bigchungus07
Can you tell us what exactly miner you have is that the GPU miner? Or ASIC miner?

If you are looking for an alternative for nicehash that can mine other coin and auto-convert them into BTC it seems it's the only one can mine other coin and payout in BTC.
4794  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Ebit 9+ on: May 27, 2021, 05:21:31 PM
Can you try to access the miner through incognito mode and maybe there might be a plugin on the normal browser that blocking you to access the miner.

If it doesn't work can you try to access the IP through Telnet and update here if you can access it.

If it asks for a username and password try to put admin/admin if success then we can able to reset it through SSH just let us know if it works on telnet.
4795  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Ftx Exchnage login Probelm on: May 27, 2021, 04:52:36 PM

It seems it was some sort of delay issue at the mobile service provider end. I did not receive any sms code from ftx for last few days but today when i tried to login, i did receive the code and now i am able to login the ftx exchange. Smiley

That's a common issue even on another website. FTX exchange might have an SMS limit daily so maybe they already reach their SMS limit at that time.

If you don't want to experience this SMS verification issue as I said above better switch on any authenticator app. SMS verification is very problematic not only on exchanges but also on some other websites.
4796  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Location of CoPay private keys on iOS on: May 26, 2021, 11:49:28 PM
CoPay is on the phone but not showing the prior wallet. That is why I am trying to figure out exactly where in the file system of the phone the keys were kept.

So you are looking for data path or directory where you can find the data for Copay that includes private keys?

I don't know what is the exact name of the file but you can check the directory path

Code:
/var/mobile/Containers/Data/Application/

Or this

/var/mobile/Applications/

Check that folder and look for the copay folder. Use some tool like 3utools to access that directory path or use iBrowser.

However, I believe that you can't easily find the wallet file for Copay IOS they mostly hide those important data for privacy. The only way to find those hidden data is to Jailbreak the unit.
4797  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance on: May 26, 2021, 11:09:56 PM
can I use my Electrum address or no?

R. Does Electrum Support Ethereum?

No, Electrum only supports Bitcoin, and they have not announced an intention to support any other altcoins at this time.

Apparently not?
Actually, you already answered your question Electrum doesn't support any altcoin it is only for BTC.

Are you looking for a wallet that supports both BTC and ETH? You can check Mycelium wallet or Coinomi wallet they support both BTC and ETH.
4798  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How I Can start bitcoin mining on: May 26, 2021, 10:50:17 PM
Could you tell me more ?

Don't fool on this there is no Bitcoin bot system that can mine BTC they're most likely scam like Cloud mining sites.

If you want to start mining read this first https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4636521.0

For ASIC daily profit, you can check it here http://asicminervalue.com/
4799  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance referral code on: May 26, 2021, 10:37:49 PM
Like those mentioned above, you can open another account and don't do KYC as you can still withdraw 2 BTC limit a day. Also, do not use your own referral code as your 2nd, and your main account can be risky.
You can ask your friends or here to use the referral code and to share the commission kickback with you.

The 2BTC withdrawal limit on Binance with non-KYC verified was changed recently look at this image below.

Source: https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/n3zjor/binance_withdrawal_limit_reduced_to_005_btc_for/

So without KYC verification you can't able to withdraw more than 0.05 BTC unless you change your mind to verify the KYC process and increase the limit up to 100BTC per day.
4800  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance on: May 26, 2021, 09:58:57 PM
I heard some users having the same issue buying on Binance US and most of them end up buying on other exchanges due to Binance US restrictions buying with debit/credit card.

Anyway, you can still buy BTC on another platform or exchange.

Binance recommend people to buy on trustwallet with a debit/credit card you can find the guide from this link https://trustwallet.com/buy-bitcoin/

Another thing is Bitcoin ATM check the map below and maybe there is Bitcoin ATM near you
