OMG!!! I finally decide to buy BCC for $120! And next day it crash 40% OMG!!!!!!!!!  I lose $4800 in 1 night!!!!  Half my money gone!!! WTF!!

Congratulations for getting fooled, you deserve like the others a warm of applause. You made the ponzi lovers richer hehehe. Please coming back to get assed.

What is Ponzi about it, though? I already tried explaining how they are even profiting from their lending at the moment due to the demand for the coin. People lock away their BCC and give all the growth and interest to bitconnect and bitconnect currently pays them back less than this growth in value..... they don't even need to generate profits at the moment but they are generating a lot.
482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: August 25, 2017, 12:25:44 PM
The price is around $100 at mo. If there is no news in the coming hours then likely the price might fall a bit, I suppose. I'd be tempted to buy again but I think I will just wait now.

No, don't worry it will probably be back up to over $130 again soon. I managed to do well out of this thread and not sleeping lol I bought 30 for 0.008 each and sold them for $1600 profit on livecoin  at something like 0.021 which is quite low but I thought it would be best to guarantee it. Obviously, I will probably regret selling so low later but I still plan to invest when/if bitconnect comes back as I've worked out how they can sustain themselves. I also invested in bitconnect the other day but at least I have more than I invested back now too so wouldn't have lost any money.
484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: August 25, 2017, 11:21:35 AM
The interest rate is to get people interested but obviously it won't last so long at that level and they can vary it as much as they like (they should be able to predict their daily profit). Their system is much preferable to other coins tbh for creating a stable currency, which I think is one of their aims, especially with their own exchange. The exchange should be counted as an asset too and should generate regular profits, just like their lending system currently generates profit. They have a lot of reserves but they shouldn't be paying interest if the coin price falls as basically they pay everything in BCC. With bitcoin and most cryptocurrencies any group of whales could dump it when they feel they have profited enough so their system has more protection over that. During falls in demand and price, instead of selling their BCC, people would be tempted to lend it and lock it away to guarantee at least some interest in the future and this lowers sell pressure also.
485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: August 25, 2017, 10:21:30 AM
I have a question:
I receive my daily interests in $ right? But what about my initial investment?
Will I get back in $ or BCC?

They give you the dollar amount back....which IS ACTUALLY LESS than the BCC amount so that's why I'm saying it isn't a Ponzi at the moment. It's like you give a company a bitcoin and they give you less, how can that be a Ponzi? When you lend, the BCC generates it's own 8% a month profit too for bitconnect and you give that growth up too. That is what is paying the affiliates. While the price is going up they are not losing any money paying back any investors. They should be keeping a strong reserve of profits to try and keep the price stable but eventually the coin will probably crash but that doesn't mean the people lending need to lose out as they are supposed to have no risk.
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: August 25, 2017, 10:13:38 AM
"hacks" and "bugs" are what happens when they need an excuse to exit or delay their scam... you people will believe anything

Haven't you seen how fast their coin value has grown? When people sell  1 BCC for X USD and lock it down for 30% interest a month, it might seem too good to be true but obviously it's not if the coin increases in value more than this. They are not taking money from other investors. They are generating profits because the BCC they give back after the investment period including all the interest is a fraction of the original BCC investment as it has grown at a greater level. The people holding the coin are the ones who may lose out if it crashes but that's normal, but those lending and accepting a variable interest (which they obviously set depending on their own profits and projections etc) should be safe if the scheme is done properly. They have tons of BCC to stabilise the price if need be too. They obviously also generate a percentage of profits on the volume on their own exchange etc. and must also be keeping a strong reserve from the vast profits so far they have made from the lending scheme.

Anyway, nobody knows what happened earlier tonight yet but sounds fishy... (by the way all their ads say that lenders are GUARANTEED some interest but they can vary it at will, but they can't guarantee the price of the coin and that is where the risk is - even though the coin itself generates 8% monthly interest at the moment which covers affiliate costs as when people lend they lose out on that growth too)

The value of BCC/USD has nothing to do with BitConnect. They don't pay you in USD or BTC (no, the USD in your lending wallet is not real money, jackass), they pay you in BCC tokens which they pre-mined millions of. The only way you can convert your BCC to BTC/USD is by trading it with another person (not Bitconnect)

I'm talking about their lending offer where you get a fixed USD amount and variable interest. You don't actually lend them BCC because you don't even get near the same amount of BCC back as the price goes up so much so they are not taking money from any other investors for that offer. It's like there was a company where you gave them bitcoin and then later they gave you less bitcoin back.... normally you would complain it was rip off but because the price of bitcoin went up, you can still make a profit and everyone is happy. They are basically guaranteeing your investment and some profit if they predict the price is increasing more than they give you and they can probably predict things well enough for that...... it is obvious they should be generating profits from the exchange at least let alone anything else.
487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: August 25, 2017, 10:00:46 AM
All I know is that they don't need to exit if they do it properly..... the coin holders may lose out but they must know that there is a risk of it crashing at any time like anything else. Demand should be high though at the moment so it's likely not to be a problem, just like how bitcoin keeps increasing. Bitconnect should be able to generate profits and pay this variable interest based on their exchange profits and coin price but would be good to know what percentage profit they make from the volume on their exchange each day.

The exchanges finally back up and no price movements.... but I'm wondering how long does it take for BCC withdrawel if I transfer it? I'm wondering how long to confirm etc

For the record here are the current prices and it seems some people are paying a premium on some pairings for BCC. Also with livecoin they didn't monitor it after it came back online cos the price went up to around $100.

Livecoin keeps going down, probably more people trying to take advantage of the 20% price difference but would be nice to be able to login and maybe sell the coins I got for 0.008. I understand the coin gets 8% interest a month at the moment on its own, anyway? I haven't got the wallet so not sure exactly how to do it.

UDPATE: both nova and livecoin are down (livecoin doesn't let you log in)..... a bit frustrating for traders really...
492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: August 25, 2017, 07:44:42 AM
Anyway, it seems the markets believe bitconnect are not disappearing. Not sure how it would affect the coin price but it's only 20% lower than before the crash on most of the exchanges now.... livecoin is at 0.02 whereas the others are around 0.25 now....  was at 0.03 before the problem on novaexchange or $130
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: August 25, 2017, 07:33:05 AM
Livecoin went down again...not good at these sensitive times lol....was gonna get my 250%....then I can decide later how much to invest into bitconnect etc

Now that we know that Team BitConnect is reading this thread, come on, dude(s), at the very least counter my million dollar hush-money request. PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE !!!

The last time I had this much fun was when Leroy Fodor was active on this USELESS forum. HAHAHA

Actually can't really tell they are reading it since the site is still online etc....maybe you entered the wrong URL haven't checked much about it..... anyway I made a bit of profit on the coin I think..probably gonna sell it in a sec for three times I paid. But had sent over double the amount of bitcoin so should have bought more of them lol

EDIT: By the way, have you noticed that I can't seem to post inline images unlike other people? Even when I quote you they don't show up lol
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: August 25, 2017, 07:11:38 AM
Just got 30BCC for peanuts on livecoin btw...back up...not sure if people know it's back up though yet......

So that could translate to over $4K on their platform!! I paid about a quarter of the price!!

Just imagine the regular income on that too.....for USD lending..

I'm kicking myself for not buying more cos the price soon more than doubled...it's also still lower on livecoin than on novaexchange by at least 10 to 15 percent

Anyway it's a bit of a dilemma since I could sell those 30BCC for $3K on novaexchange now cos they are selling for three times the price  I paid lol will be hard to get the BCC over there I suppose but will probably do it to guarantee it as it's not too much different from the bitconnect price. Update: Price is creeping up on livecoin anyway so probably safer to sell on there when it's high enough etc.

From what I gathered there was some bug in bitconnect which is why they closed to fix a glitch? Read about someone selling 4K BCC in one go cos the glitch allowed people to withdraw MORE BCC than they had in the wallet... I don't really know much but this is the exchange chat box on nova:

It's blowing up it's face? I hope so, because it's definatetly too long this scheme going on.

I explained how bitconnect are making profits from the people lending USD as they pay LESS interest than the coin increases in value so doesn't need new investors or need to be a Ponzi etc

I'm more worried about livecoin now lol cos sent them bitcoin haha

It says site not found now on there....had a maintenance message earlier
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: August 25, 2017, 06:16:24 AM
Think livecoin just got overloaded (started with server error then a few different ones) but it was strange the price was so low there compared to others, like people were maybe dumping coin there?

Look at the arbitrage opportunity there before LiveCoin shut itself down...annoying that I sent my bitcoin to it too lol
