The price is around $100 at mo. If there is no news in the coming hours then likely the price might fall a bit, I suppose. I'd be tempted to buy again but I think I will just wait now.

The interest rate is to get people interested but obviously it won't last so long at that level and they can vary it as much as they like (they should be able to predict their daily profit). Their system is much preferable to other coins tbh for creating a stable currency, which I think is one of their aims, especially with their own exchange. The exchange should be counted as an asset too and should generate regular profits, just like their lending system currently generates profit. They have a lot of reserves but they shouldn't be paying interest if the coin price falls as basically they pay everything in BCC. With bitcoin and most cryptocurrencies any group of whales could dump it when they feel they have profited enough so their system has more protection over that. During falls in demand and price, instead of selling their BCC, people would be tempted to lend it and lock it away to guarantee at least some interest in the future and this lowers sell pressure also.

They don't pay you in USD or BTC (no, the USD in your lending wallet is not real money, jackass), they pay you in BCC tokens which they pre-mined millions of. The only way you can convert your BCC to BTC/USD is by trading it with another person (not Bitconnect) I'm talking about their lending offer where you get a fixed USD amount and variable interest. You don't actually lend them BCC because you don't even get near the same amount of BCC back as the price goes up so much so they are not taking money from any other investors for that offer. It's like there was a company where you gave them bitcoin and then later they gave you less bitcoin back.... normally you would complain it was rip off but because the price of bitcoin went up, you can still make a profit and everyone is happy. They are basically guaranteeing your investment and some profit if they predict the price is increasing more than they give you and they can probably predict things well enough for that...... it is obvious they should be generating profits from the exchange at least let alone anything else.

All I know is that they don't need to exit if they do it properly..... the coin holders may lose out but they must know that there is a risk of it crashing at any time like anything else. Demand should be high though at the moment so it's likely not to be a problem, just like how bitcoin keeps increasing. Bitconnect should be able to generate profits and pay this variable interest based on their exchange profits and coin price but would be good to know what percentage profit they make from the volume on their exchange each day.

For the record here are the current prices and it seems some people are paying a premium on some pairings for BCC. Also with livecoin they didn't monitor it after it came back online cos the price went up to around $100. Livecoin keeps going down, probably more people trying to take advantage of the 20% price difference but would be nice to be able to login and maybe sell the coins I got for 0.008. I understand the coin gets 8% interest a month at the moment on its own, anyway? I haven't got the wallet so not sure exactly how to do it. UDPATE: both nova and livecoin are down (livecoin doesn't let you log in)..... a bit frustrating for traders really...

Anyway, it seems the markets believe bitconnect are not disappearing. Not sure how it would affect the coin price but it's only 20% lower than before the crash on most of the exchanges now.... livecoin is at 0.02 whereas the others are around 0.25 now.... was at 0.03 before the problem on novaexchange or $130

I'm kicking myself for not buying more cos the price soon more than doubled...it's also still lower on livecoin than on novaexchange by at least 10 to 15 percent Anyway it's a bit of a dilemma since I could sell those 30BCC for $3K on novaexchange now cos they are selling for three times the price I paid lol will be hard to get the BCC over there I suppose but will probably do it to guarantee it as it's not too much different from the bitconnect price. Update: Price is creeping up on livecoin anyway so probably safer to sell on there when it's high enough etc.

Just got 30BCC for peanuts on livecoin btw...back up...not sure if people know it's back up though yet...... So that could translate to over $4K on their platform!! I paid about a quarter of the price!! Just imagine the regular income on that too.....for USD lending..

From what I gathered there was some bug in bitconnect which is why they closed to fix a glitch? Read about someone selling 4K BCC in one go cos the glitch allowed people to withdraw MORE BCC than they had in the wallet... Think livecoin just got overloaded (started with server error then a few different ones) but it was strange the price was so low there compared to others, like people were maybe dumping coin there?
