eBitcoin’s Merchant Gateway is LIVE!! After the exchange integrations, the Merchant & Payment Gateway to accept eBitcoin, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and other top 50 altcoins has finally launched, marking a big turning point for eBitcoin! Up to this point, we actually had very little other than promises to market. Now, we have a SERVICE to advertise. The Merchant Services are now active with plugins for the most common e-commerce solutions like Shopify, Weebly, OpenCart, ECWID & WooCommerce. They also offer simple HTML-based “Buy Now” buttons that can be used on any website, as well as implementation for WordPress and a simple Rest API. The Merchant Gateway is a joint venture between the eBitcoin Foundation and Cointopay International B.V. As a solution provider for the eBitcoin Foundation, it was important to have the gateway built by a reliable technology partner who also covers the legal aspects since eBitcoin Foundation is decentralized itself without even a physical headquarter. Since Cointopay has been established in the Cryptomarket since 2014, activating eBitcoin’s Merchant Gateway and Services opens the door to over 3000 existing Merchants and more than 10.000 Customers that can accept eBTC as well as spend eBTC on all kinds of goods. Additionally, customers can buy eBTC with Fiat via IBAN and Payeer. With a gateway fee of only 1%, we are really looking forward to new merchants and customers using these services, and welcoming the existing ones to use eBTC as their payment solution. https://merchant.eBitcoin.orgAbout eBitcoin The eBitcoin Foundation has a growing team of over 70 people from around the world. With deep backgrounds of old ‘real world’ economy mixed with blockchain, the community as a whole has the same goal: Make Cryptocurrency simple! Creating a sustainable Ecosystem with all types of partners (wallet, merchant gateway, insurance, marketing, security, 3D/VR, etc) that provide fluid access as well as simple and secure ways to store, spend, and use cryptocurrencies such as eBTC; what will ultimately result in mass adoption. Wow, it is 477 pages in the forum, it is unbelievable. Considering the high price of the token, it is great that now it is in many exchanges and I have some. I read somewhere that some guy was complaining he bought this token when it was .30 USD and now it was .09 USD, and how he did not buy an iphone but instead bought this token. Now he must be very happy that it is almost a dollar because he can now buy 3 iphones ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) i think you want to say 0.9 usd , right ?

Donc pourquoi pas bientot un paiement en Bitcoin sur Ebay ? eBay publicized its plan to discontinue PayPal as a payment option from its website, reflecting poorly on PayPal’s stock (PYPL). On January 31, 2018, Cutler’s firm announced that it has instead signed an accord with Adyen, an Amsterdam-based payment service company, to become eBay’s primary processor. More importantly, Adyen also partnered with BitPay, the popular cryptocurrency payment platform, which will allow all Ayden clients to use their service. About the agreement, BitPay’s blog stated, “Adyen’s merchants can now easily accept bitcoin as a payment method from their e-commerce stores.”

https://www.trustnodes.com/2018/02/13/bitcoin-transaction-volumes-fall-lowest-level-two-yearsDemand for bitcoin transactions has considerably fallen since the beginning of the year to a low of 149,000 transactions, just around 25% of the all-time high at 490,000. Bitcoin has not been operating at the current level of demand since November 2015, a significant drop in just weeks. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fs14.postimg.org%2Fqxekdhkmp%2Fbitcoin-transaction-volume-feb-13-18.png&t=663&c=JTwhtmBvkqqaFA) Ethereum transacting demand is at where it was just this December, falling from the high of 1.3 million to now at around 800,000.
![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fs14.postimg.org%2F7tpuahchd%2Fethereum-transactions-volumes-feb-13-18.png&t=663&c=LePBvdyi8Z-Bpw) More importantly, even though bitcoin’s transaction levels are now to where they were in 2015, fees for bitcoin transactions are far higher, standing at pennies or less in 2015 and now at $2.
While ethereum, despite handling some 5x-7x the transaction level of bitcoin, still retains fees at cents, even while its blocksize is around the same 1MB per ten minutes as bitcoin, suggesting superior coding ability.
This cyclical fall in on-chain transactions demand does raise questions about the “fee market” in bitcoin, which requires a constant backlog and a heavily congested network to operate.
That’s because the second settlement layer is meant to pay for one transaction what millions of on-chain transactions would pay. But, in the absence of heavy congestion, there would be no demand for such high fees.
Whether this settlement layer can work, therefore, remains very much an open question, with the Lightning Network still in development, lacking a GUI wallet.
When it will actually release remains to be seen, but once it does, we can all finally determine whether any of this new settlement system makes much sense. intéréssant la fin pour le BTC ? je le souhaite, halte a cette crypto speculative qui n'apporte rien ... l'eth a peut etre une carte a jouer

if you have a brain, just wait for some pump and dump this coin. there is nothing good, no news, no exchanges, nothing ...
man, sounds like you got too much time on your hands to be always talking shit on this project. I think you are missing the vision on this project, think about Venezuela and think what this coin can do. Go check out their roadmap, check if they are on track. Their exchange wallet is down because of YoBit's dumbass, they are planning on listing on Cryptopia soon. Everything dumped recently, so everything else is pump and dump too? With the wallet down, what happens if you purchase on yobit? Where will the coins be stored? just forget this shit dude, a dev who cant maintain a wallet is not a legit dev , this coin is dead since many months.

Hello OAX,
On your website in milestone section it is written, then in Q2 2018 openANX Prototype is going to be released. I would like to ask, how long are you going to do the testing?
thanks for the link , we see that your devs are working hard ! Hello bakasabo, thank you for the interest to the project and participation in the OAX Bounty program. At first there is a date in the road map, Target Live date - Q2 2018, page 26 here: http://bit.ly/OAX_EN_Presentation Also I passed your question to the Dev's team. BTW, you can monitor the development process at the OAX Gitlab: https://gitlab.com/groups/oax/-/activity And check regularly the the Dev's journal, a lot of interesting being described there: https://www.notion.so/Journals-a1c1a14d8aa84fceb648a33ad8211791
