481  Economy / Speculation / Re: In 3 years from now how much 1 BTC worth ? on: May 18, 2016, 09:57:15 AM
There are too many things that can affect the price of Bitcoin, imo Bitcoin is pretty volatile.. No one will know what will happen to the price of Bitcoin in a year, less said about 3 years. But if I have to warrant a guess, it would probably be around the 1k mark for pretty long
482  Economy / Lending / Re: I need 0.3 BTC, I'll pay up 0.33 in two weeks on: May 18, 2016, 07:37:19 AM
Your website is not worth for equal to 120$ btc loan.. and You have an old negative feedback for asking not collateral loan..
even if some one want to give you the loan you have to verify you ownership of the site and have to transfer the site to another web hosting account(escrows's).

The website's mine, I just don't understand the transfer to another web hosting or escrow. Thanks!

The only way for you to provide collateral is to use a middleman aka escrow, the website will be in the escrow hands until you repay in which your website would be transferred back to you. I wonder how you think your site is worth the loan you requested. Collateral must be easily resold if loan is defaulted.

485  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: New Vanity Address Service: https://Vante.me on: May 18, 2016, 07:05:30 AM
Do you offer vouch copies? Is this technology 100% safe?

If you actually spend time to read the vanity gen thread or search for split key generation or simply read op for the matter you would get the answer to your questions instead of signature whoring to +1 to your paid counter.

Now to answer your "questions", if you really that desperate for vouch copies, pm op. Second question, use Google. https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Split-key_vanity_address

@op basically he wants a free test of your service. However.. I would not trust someone with neg trust no matter the reasons for the neg trust.. Vouch copies are copies given for free to trustable members so they sort of "vouch"  for the authenticity of your product/service
486  Economy / Services / Re: Custom BTC address service on: May 18, 2016, 07:01:17 AM
I would advise you to add a disclaimer as vanity private addresses are not recommended to import into wallets that uses seed passwords. Even if they can be imported, a lost wallet and regeneration using seed will not regenerate the vanity address unless the private key is not lost and is reimported

I have no idea what you are talking about right now...

I'm planning on just importing my private key into blockchain.info, so that I can use it for daily transactions. Will there be a risk of me losing my private keys when I lose my wallet and try to recover my account with the secret passage?

You can safely import your private key into blockchain.info. However, i would not recommend you storing too much coins in an online wallet, certain desktop wallets that are generated from a passphrase/ seed would not accept private keys anymore, those that do will not recover your imported private key if you lose your wallet and attempt to recover it without remembering your private key for the vanity address. Same goes for hardware wallets.
487  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on Steam on: May 18, 2016, 06:02:31 AM
I just noticed that on Steam, I went to purchase something and as a payment option Bitcoin was there. I tried it and it is extremely easy and simple. How long has this been there?

This is precisely the point! Only technology readers actually know Steam added Bitcoin to payment options, there was no publicity, no pop-up when u start Steam saying you can now pay in Bitcoin..

Sorry if this is a dumb question: How can we trust that you will not hold onto our private keys after our vanity addresses are generated and we put some BTC in there? There have been a few incidents in the past where someone's wallet content got stolen.

Does split key address generation protect us against that? I read the post about it, and it was wayyyy too complicated for me Undecided

Split key address generation is very safe unless your computer with the other half private key get compromised

491  Other / Politics & Society / Re: There IS life after DEATH: Scientists reveal shock findings on: May 18, 2016, 04:52:54 AM
Think about it, death is simply what we humans classify as a state when modern technology can no longer resucitate/put u back in one piece, functional equivalence and those other shits. 80 years ago if a guy had a heart attack, he would be pronounced dead, now with aeds and almost everyone knowing cpr, he would simply be classified as high chance of mortality, not dead.

Death is simply when technology or medicinal advances can no longer help to bring back someone, so technically it isnt death, although I wouldn't classify it as being alive either

Quote
Death. 1: the irreversible cessation of all vital functions especially as indicated by permanent stoppage of the heart, respiration, and brain activity
492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ledger Wallet - My Review - Comparing Wallets For Security on: May 18, 2016, 04:42:27 AM
Regarding your point about importing private keys for vanity addresses. As seed wallets are generated from seed passwords, even if it allows you to import your private keys, says the day come when you need to find back your seed wallet with the seed, the addresses from the vanity addresses importing using private keys would n not be regenerated /recovered. That is probably why
493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you trust stuff like Hashocean? on: May 17, 2016, 02:08:47 PM
Here we go again...

Safe to say tyhat you would not roi with cloud mining unless you have lots of cash, you would probably still not roi or just roi in time. For potential cloud ponzi sites, you spending that amount means that can safely run away with the money, you have made them filthy rich. Just spend the money on holding bitcoins instead and get instant roi where any potential increase in price are instant profits.
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN][PWR] PowerCoin [Release date TBA] on: May 17, 2016, 02:03:30 PM
Finally some form of innovation at least in an altcoin.

2000 shares available, does that mean it is ico based? If it is.. bad move. You make it sound like airdrop only for people who bought shares.. If it is 50% airdrop seems like a huge amount for a pretty otherwise solid coin.

497  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for someone who can convert CSS into SASS on: May 17, 2016, 10:45:43 AM
Is there any reasons you want to do so? You can technically rename the css file to scss and it would still run properly

499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]New Project looking for a Coin wallet Developer on: May 16, 2016, 01:27:17 PM
So basically... You had, so you no longer have any of those under "We Had"?

Pure POS, just tell us in our faces it is another shitcoin with another ICO, Idiot Congregation Opportunity. No new innovation, no new features, no security improvements, no shit at all. You just want a developer to help with the launch of a new shitcoin which we already have enough of?

If you want legit good devs, show everyone the roadmap so we can laugh our asses of, show us whitepaper, not toilet paper to wipe our @sses with.
