482  Economy / Marketplace / Re: THE Place to Shop w/ Bitcoin: BitCoinWorldMarket.com on: July 10, 2011, 04:07:01 PM
I am getting SICK and TIRED of people posting that the products in the store are marked up! Next time, somebody better post a link where they can find the item at a cheaper cost.

And pay attention to see if the BitcoinWorldMarket merchandise comes in bulk, because I looked and some of it does.

I want u to be healthy and not "SICK and TIRED", so, here u go :

http://www.amazon.com/Nutiva-Hemp-Protein-Organic-powder/dp/B0001BYL62/ref=as_li_wdgt_fl_ex?&camp=212361&creative=383961&linkCode=waf&tag=hemp06f-20

8.91 usd,  u all right now ?

single pack, price before checkout 8.91  usd vs 1.38 btc, take a pick and stay healthy
483  Economy / Marketplace / Re: THE Place to Shop w/ Bitcoin: BitCoinWorldMarket.com on: July 09, 2011, 04:19:41 PM
well, looks like so many items are overpriced, and that more than 100% in total cost for buyer...

nutiva hemp protein --- 1.38 btc !?!? before shipping and "sales fckn tax"
it goes for 10 bucks elsewhere, and even lower for bigger orders...

why is everyone so greedy ?
merchants, I mean.
and don't give me that expenses shit explanation...

485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / bitcoin wiki article translation on: June 27, 2011, 10:08:25 PM
this is about thread :

http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=4599.0

me and my friend "avialias"
have translated the article to Croatian,
We did not post it on wikipedia yet, because we would like to have agreement,
or at least acknowledgement that we did it,

BUT,
and this one is bigger than J Lo's Smiley

forum members
"eMansipater"
and
"cw"
are not responding, not even to PM-s

This post is public pressure on them two,
I demand they explain them selves;
is there a bounty or not for this translations ?

We invested our time because of bounty, and now they are flaking
and this is stopping 3 more translations that we intended to do...
486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Problems accessing MyBitcoin account? on: June 27, 2011, 10:18:42 AM

488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My account request was rejected by MtGox - what should I do? on: June 24, 2011, 12:36:43 PM

first denied, please bring more information.

Now accepted, fine. they are much faster now!

 Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley

I was rejected first time, but shortly after my second attempt,
they sent me email
saying that
my account recovery request has been accepted.
and that I will be able to access my Mt.Gox account once the site opens again.

I have more than 100 btc, and a few usd cents ...

I submitted exact balances and described wire transfer and transaction history

490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Information for MtGox Confirmation Acceptance on: June 24, 2011, 09:36:10 AM
i have well over 100 btc there,
sent my balance number in btc (not exact number, i did not know it, but within 10%)
and exact usd balance,
described exact amount of my only wire transfer,
btc purchasing price, and rough amounts of my withdrawals,

rejected,

now i sent exact balance in btc (deducted withdrawals form total purchased balance)
additional info on my wire transfer ,

they have my passport scan, so they can see that my claim email name matches that documents,
also they can find me on facebook and match my profile picture...

and I can send scans of wire transfer documentation,
but I am afraid  to send anything, because they must have enough data that i send in my claim description, i made my claim very complementary to the data they already hold...

edit:

I received following message :

Your account recovery request has been accepted.
You will be able to access your Mt.Gox account once the site opens again.

I still did not send documentation via post ,
this time I entered the exact balances and some additional info description

both times i offered only description, no documentation,
I have it if things get heavy(er)...

I received following message :

Your account recovery request has been accepted.
You will be able to access your Mt.Gox account once the site opens again.

492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is There A Good Reason To Still Be Calling BTC Money/Currency? on: June 23, 2011, 11:15:15 AM

USD is not backed by anything else than the paper they are printed on/metal used for coins. Gold backing etc. was removed a reaaally long time ago.

493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is There A Good Reason To Still Be Calling BTC Money/Currency? on: June 23, 2011, 11:11:40 AM
It behaves as a commodity and I was inclined since the very beginning I learned about it to call it a commodity.

I agree with the OP, I'd rather we'd call it a commodity then a currency.

I would love to see an ignore function.

yes, voting +/- on every post,
posters with negative balance in votes would  get posting disabled for a week...
495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Awaiting the great MtGox Cash Out on: June 21, 2011, 10:27:48 PM
I have created a file going through the latest 4000 posts on the Bitcoin.org forums, taking that number down to 1984 after eliminating any non Mt. Gox related posts.

These 1984 posts were then gone through two systems set up where, in short, would mark the threads as "Pro-Gox" or "Anti-Gox"

Seeing as how this whole market is based upon speculation and fear, I went ahead and determined exactly what will happen in the following 2 week time (1 week guaranteed only, acts of god etc), and I will release this information to you for the mere donation of .0069 Bitcoin

*Estimate time of delivery of files 6-8 weeks

*Offer void

All I need to hear, is that you are taking bitcoins as payment for your bitcoin market analysis!  Grin

 Cool Cool Cool Cool

bravo, u nailed it Smiley
496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Open-Transactions vs. the "typical centralized system" on: June 21, 2011, 10:10:03 PM
we could start pledging some btc,
to a bounty fund for this,
to speed it up

maybe even we could make it an investment that would be payed off to all "donators",
out of fees collected later,

like we "buy shares" of this thing now, pay them with btc,
development team gets the btc, and we collect our dividends later,
if/when this starts to work Smiley
497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mt.gox claims page is up on: June 21, 2011, 06:24:14 PM
mine was sent with no problems,
i went with "other" proof ,
wrote some text with account balances and actions info...
498  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: password keyboard for bitcoin on: June 19, 2011, 11:29:48 AM
This works if it isn't too annoying for experienced users to find the correct keys on the reshuffled board. The annoyance factor however limit the number of ambiguities. If you watch the user entering the password 2 or 3 times you can probably nail it down.
Graphical passwords are immune against keyloggers, but then mouse/screen loggers would probably come up.

If you're interested, there are some other ideas for graphical passwords, e.g. http://www.acsac.org/2005/papers/89.pdf.

it should be annoying Smiley
then user is concentrated,
after all, u enter password rarely
499  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: password keyboard for bitcoin on: June 19, 2011, 09:49:31 AM
is this too difficult, too stupid or what ?

any comment ?
seems to me that if someone tries to follow my password entering,
it would be like password is forking with every new keystroke...

even if someone actually is copying my password, it
probably would not be copy/paste-able, and that gives me time to change it if i ever suspect something...
500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / can someone inform these guys :) on: June 19, 2011, 07:38:28 AM
