481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do u think about BNB? Worth to buy? on: July 06, 2019, 02:51:55 PM
BNB has been successful in shifting itself in its own blockchain. The new blockchain has not only made the transfer of BNB quicker, the fees are also extremely low even compared with ethereum gas. With the low supply of BNB, it could soon be a coin of choice for hodlers and whales. It's a good investment as of now. It easily could go above $100 in near future.
482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is XLM so out of flavour? on: July 06, 2019, 01:43:31 PM
XLM mostly missed the shot. Even it's newer competitor are way ahead of it now. EOS and Tron has made rapid progress while NEM is also a popular option.
I don't exactly know where the XLM team went wrong but the hassle in operating their wallet could be one of the reason for it.
483  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM Alert! Bitcoiin.com (B2G) steal money! on: July 05, 2019, 06:17:09 PM
The domain itself proves it's just been created to scam. people. Be very careful when you visit any site. If you know it's just a misspelling of a popular site, just leave. If you know the UI is same to some popular site leave. The site bitcointalk.to is still scamming people and phishing in username and passwords.
484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Would you participate in new project if it is not listed in ICO rating websites? on: July 05, 2019, 04:15:43 PM
Nowadays there are many projects, it is not easy to judge on new project, good or not, some people think the ico rating websites may help to take your decision, others think this ICO rating websites provide fake rating due to new project can pay fees to this ICO websites and get high rating.
SO, If you find good project, is it important to you this new good project should be listed in ICO rating websites?

Appreciate your participation

I would if the project is good. But most of the ICO rating sites provide fill up forms to list the project and why wouldn't a good project be listed on such sites?
The ICO rating sites may ask money for promotion or better rating but they also provide detailed information in a predictable format which is easy to access for interested people for every listed project. They even contact the team members for KYC that makes investors more secure knowing who people are actually operating the project.
485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do u think about BNB? Worth to buy? on: July 05, 2019, 04:07:42 PM
BNB is a good coin but it's too much inflated for current situation. I would recommend buying BNB if it goes below $30. The current price of BNB is mostly due to the launch of Binance Dex which is failing to gather the traffic for a good volume. There are many other coins that could perform much better than BNB at current situations.
486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to make profit from a dice game? Have any unique strategy? on: July 05, 2019, 04:03:09 PM
Martingale can be useful but they'll ultimately make your wallet empty. One good strategy with high liquidity is to bet on small martingale and withdraw often so that you don't lose all of your money on multiplying martingale. I was successful on doing that many times, though I always put earning from one site to another.
487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: July 04, 2019, 05:04:09 AM
England won the match and now it's pretty much over for Pakistan as it's almost impossible to attain these margins against Bangladesh:

It is impossible to attain these margins against any team in the world. The current record is 290 runs.

As of now, we know which are the teams who will play in the semi-finals. But the fixtures are still not finalized. If South Africa beats Australia, then India can finish at the no.1 position (provided that they beat Sri Lanka) and may face New Zealand for the first semi final. If there are no upsets, then Australia will finish at no.1 and may face New Zealand. England and New Zealand have no more matches remaining and therefore the no.3 and no.4 positions in the table are not going to change.

That would be the probable case. Australia beating Sri Lanka and playing with New Zealand in the semis.
Australia always has been a better team when playing with New Zealand and they'd easily win the match to go to the finals.
And on India vs England, England is in a better mood and they have defeated India just a few days ago and they'll easily repeat that.

How confidently you said that England  will repeat again Against India so easily? Yes, England is now very stronger mood and Can win the match again. But it will not so easy I think. Because the opponent is India. India also try their best to win the match for going Final.

Whatever people may say but India intentionally didn't put all their effort against the match with England last time. As they knew they are surely going to the semis and most possibly meet with England if they lost to it. It doesn't mean India would easily win in the semis but as India has tested both batting and bowling of England, they'd be better prepared this time.
488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm buying alts now on: July 04, 2019, 05:01:07 AM
Though this post was made a lot of time ago, the situation is similar at the moment. As bitcoin's price is high at the moment, it's a good time to buy alts. If you are successful in selecting the proper altcoins, you'll make a good profit even if the bitcoin and market goes down. Buying alt is also a way to diversify your portfolio is price of bitcoin is highly fluctuating and unstable.
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Residents of US can shift to this DEX after they were restricted by Binance on: July 04, 2019, 04:58:06 AM
I somehow feel betrayed by the Binance. No, I'm not a US citizen and is not banned by binance but they had promised us a dex but failed to deliver it.
Even if they don't control the transactions there, they control who can access the exchange and who not. This is just plain opposite of what dex is.
490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season is not here yet. on: July 04, 2019, 04:51:51 AM
Altcoin is just a vague category. The market has changed a lot and we can't just divide it into altcoin and bitcoin as their price movement are getting independent of each other. There always will be a trend but altcoin price are rising and falling depending on what they do and how they perform. So, its better to choose the right coin for you be it bitcoin or any.
491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play poker to train trading on: July 01, 2019, 05:11:55 PM
I have extensively played poker and to some extent done trading. Except for the fact that there's a bit of luck playing on both, I found no other similarities between them.
Both requires attention and so does every work. The study done in poker are based on exact time while trading needs more detailed research and study.
492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum is slow in price? on: June 21, 2019, 06:22:01 PM
What makes the Ethereum price a little slow to experience an increase, in the current crypto market conditions. If the price of bitcoin continues to experience rapid growth almost close to $ 10k. I think the price of ethereum will be good if it is above $ 300.

It's always the same in a bull market. When bitcoin starts to bull, people sell most of their crypto assets and buy bitcoin that puts pressure on the prices of crypto. As the sell limits are already placed, alts do move in price along the direction of bitcoin but the selling of alts to buy bitcoin checks the increase and makes it lower than that of bitcoin.
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra May kill all stable coins and may be best trading pair for bitcoin on: June 21, 2019, 05:17:46 PM
Libra May kill all stable coins and may be best trading pair for bitcoin

The times for centralized stable coins are now limited. It would highly depend on how decentralized would the Libra stable coin would be.
On comparison, Libra would surely be a instant hit as the current most used stable coin is a shady token from a shady exchange.
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins: to Mine or to Buy? That is the Question on: June 21, 2019, 05:07:37 PM
PREVIOUSLY....

Analized my experience in cryptocurrency since 2014 year I made a conclusion that PoW mining is less profitable than just buying coins ever. With several exclusions that just confirmed the rule.
So what is your experience?
Cons and pros of both methods to make money in cryptoworld?

Now I prefer holding coins, PoS mining and other methods without noisy and hot hardware

AND NOW

Weekly reports and OP update soon...

Mining is now an industry. You can't just mine with a pair of your spare GPU let alone your i3 processor (Excluding the useless coins, of course).
So, it would be better just to buy and trade. Even for new coins, it could be beneficial if you strike a deal with the miner before the coins get listed in an exchange.
495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Theymos start gambling now? on: June 16, 2019, 11:21:13 PM
Breaking News
Bitcointalk admin has started gambling.
Theymos is trying hard to get some bitcoin because these days mining are not so profitable  Cheesy
An username is nothing however, I think he is someone from our community and have some good amount of bitcoin in his bag.
Yes I really believe is some one from Bitcoin talk community that will get to Know such name and not the real theymos as you rightly sound breaking news for there is nothing to break the news for Bro. The person in question is making heavy Lost and am sure he or she has huge sum of Bitcoin in his wallet.
^ Why don't you ask Theymos personally if he really is the one who plays under that username? I don't think gambling would affect his career and reputation. However, some of the people would find gambling as bad. But the majority of the community are matured enough to accept the fact that gambling is sometimes good but in moderation.

Theymos has been closely watched by many people. Some consider him as a role model. Authorities are looking for reasons to accuse him of money laundering and his criticizers claims he has been illegally siphoning the donations received. So, it would be too much risk for the real theymos to gamble.
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoin will whales enter next? on: June 16, 2019, 11:17:51 PM
My theory is whales will enter HST decision token next, as HST are about to announce a significant contract with a major government or global business to supply HST tokens to power the voting platform.
Stand clear and watch the whales enter HST decision token today.

The OP is clearly promoting his coin. It's really difficult to predict where the whales are entering but you can closely watch the market and unnatural increase in daily trading volume of a token is a proof of entrance of whales. Following whale movement is a gamble and not as secure as investing in a promising coin.
497  Economy / Speculation / Re: June 2019 - Bitcoin hits 10K, where next on: June 16, 2019, 07:48:57 AM
For the price to increase, we just needs the cash flowing in, and that's excatly what's happening.
It probably is a whale movement trying to increase the price of coin at a rapid rate but people had been cautious from the last time and would jump out when they feel they had a good profit. So, this train might not go over $20K, not this time.
498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: June 15, 2019, 03:58:24 PM
Has anyone got any updates on the matches that were missed due to the rains? Like I've lost my interests in the World Cup after continued dissatisfaction from the ICC for terribly organizing the matches. The bets that were put on the matches will be refunded? The sports betting sites should allow an additional bet-type for the WC that is match-abandoned which will have high chances of winning.

Money would be refunded whether it be on the bet or the ticket.
But ICC won't be able to refund the effect the abandoned matches would made in the points table (thank god, it's at least a whole league this time till semis.) and the disappointment inside the fans. A lot of fans are been waiting for the India Pakistan match for over a year now but that too is highly likely to be cancelled due to weather.
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge rewards, less value or Less reward, big value on: June 15, 2019, 03:51:02 PM
Everyone are trying to achieve that balance everywhere. The time and effort you put into to get the rewards it's worth.
If you are holding a bounty token after you received it, the holding time is also the time effort you are putting towards the reward.
So everyone should try to achieve the balance and hence ask bounty managers to limit the number of participants.
500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP Failed to Break the Resistance Level of $ 0.40, Is This a Sign of the End of on: June 14, 2019, 01:44:39 PM
XRP has a large volume and technically no use. Bitcoin is widely used, the first coin, with most miners and accepted as currency from most merchants.
Ethereum is a gas for the network. Every Ethereum token needs Ethereum to transact.
Litecoin and Bitcoincash are similar to bitcoin while EOS is the best alternative to Ethereum. BNB needs no introduction.
The only useless coin in the top 10s is Ripple.
