482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in bitcoins today and be a millionaire in the future! on: May 04, 2018, 12:06:45 AM
Bitcoin is $9700 plus today and some of us are not giving up, I will keep working hard in order to be able to grab for myself at least a coin. Congrats to those who already have theirs, I hope to join you soon.
483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin owner die. It means bitcoin also lost forever? on: May 03, 2018, 11:57:34 PM
Well since no one knows the private keys to the wallet, the bitcoins are lost forever and that only decreases the amount of bitcoins in circulation or use. It doesn't affect the total number of bitcoins. Total number of bitcoins will always be the same unless new ones are created in addition to the existing number.
484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: My bounty story (5.99eth) on: May 03, 2018, 11:28:26 AM
If a member can receive this amount as reward for participating in a bounty campaign then i can not imagine what those with higher ranks received. It really pays well to be part of this forum, all we must do is to work hard and we will enjoy the benefits of our labour. Good luck to all bounty hunters.
485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on: April 30, 2018, 11:17:35 PM
This is a possibility and thus no need for me to argue it but i would rather like to state why I think it may or may not happen. If this is going to happen, then i will attribute it to the mass adoption of ethereum based on the fact that most projects are being developed around ethereum. If ethereum is not able to overtake bitcoin, the I will attribute it to the fact that bitcoin came first has therefore got a lot of consumers already.
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or ETH in 2018 on: April 30, 2018, 11:05:11 PM
The two coins stand to be the most acknowledged among all other coins. I also agree that both coins will see a tremendous increase in price this year but ethereum will enjoy a higher rise while bitcoin on the other hand will still be number when it comes to value.
487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Taking Courses to learn about Bitcoin on: April 30, 2018, 07:37:03 PM
Has anyone taken a course online on sites like Udemy to learn about bitcoin? I just received a coupon to enroll in a bitcoin course for free. Would it be worth the time?
If anyone has any experience, do share.
I have taken  many courses back in school and I haven’t seen the total effect of those courses in my life. I have not read any book on bitcoin yet I am able to benefit from it with the little knowledge I have about it. I would not think twice before enrolling in this course if I were you. I would have still considered it even if it was coming with a fee. Enroll, gain the knowledge and share with us.
488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN : Oppotunity Or Challenge? on: April 30, 2018, 01:57:00 AM
I see bitcoin as an opportunity only for those who are well informed about it and a challenge to those who do not understand how it’s nature as well as how it operates. In this case, I would like to call it a challenge to your parents because they have either little or no information about it. You can turn this challenge into a great opportunity for you and your parents by providing them with the necessary information they need. A lot of people out there see bitcoin as a challenge simply because they lack knowledge about the whole thing and thus see it as and associate it to evil. It is up to you and I to educate these people about the prospects of bitcoin and help them benefit from the opportunities bitcoin presents.
489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you mean when you say Bitcoin is number 1 on: April 30, 2018, 01:18:54 AM
If I find myself making such a statement, then what I really mean is that bitcoin is on top of the list when talking assets that be a very good store of value. It stands tall among competitors.
490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When you first know about bitcoin what was the price? on: April 29, 2018, 11:20:35 PM
The first time I came across bitcoin was in 2015 and it was priced at $350.  I didn’t give it much attention then because I thought it was just an ordinary currency in the likes of PayPal. It was until the later part of 2016 that a friend recalled my attention to it but it was late for me to invest because it was over $700 by then.
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How much could a Bounty Manager ask for with no prior experience? on: April 29, 2018, 10:59:15 AM
This is what know about the payment structure. The pay you are to receive as bounty manager depends on the budget of the project. Some have a special allocation for bounty managers which may be negotiable and others pay you a percentage of the amount allocated for the bounty campaign. Mostly the project owners decide how much they are willing to pay the manager so if the manager is satisfied  with it, he accepts the offer.
492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Ultimate Resource List For Crypto Traders & Investors on: April 28, 2018, 07:20:00 PM
Information is key to success in every thing that demands success and you have just provided a good source of information at the right time for me. Its well appreciated.
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 150 ETH OR 9.5 BTC? on: April 27, 2018, 10:35:48 PM
150 ETH OR 9.5 BTC?
Almost worth the same value now,  but which one is better for holding untill DEC 2018?
I will choose 150ETH over the 9.5BTC  because ETH at its current price has a higher chance of increasing 10 times by December. BTC on the other hand may increase over time but with a lower chance of increasing more than 3 times of its current price.
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH next to BTC? on: April 27, 2018, 08:09:03 PM
I do agree to your statement "ETH next to BTC". Ethereum has proved to be a very prominent coin in the crypto world. I am equally not surprised that it is used by many exchanges as a measure of exchange. Although it is not closer to BTC when comparing its prices with other altcoins, it stays next to BTC when it comes to usage and popularity.
495  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price will be over $20k again next week or in 2018? on: April 26, 2018, 06:48:51 PM
It is a price we all believe will happen and want to witness it. There is a higher probability for bitcoin to break through the $20000 barrier but no one can tell when. It could be tomorrow or the day after thus it wouldn't be a bad idea if you buy now.
496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you store your 24 word phrase? on: April 26, 2018, 06:40:14 PM
I have memorized my 24 word phrase like a poem. Storing it online is the last thing  I will do. I have got it all on my mind thus I don't care much about hacking. Anyway how is someone going to hack my mind. As if that is not safe enough, I have named 24 pictures with the various words and it will be weird for someone to have an idea what those names represent. For the pictures, they have been saved on 3 different drives and kept at three different locations.
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty and too many participants on: April 26, 2018, 12:46:34 AM
Hello community!
What do you think about popularity of the bounty campaigns? I see many new participants joining bounty campaigns, especially Twitter and Facebook. With more and more new participants, we will earn less and less rewards, also many of potential buyers would rather join bounty campaign than invest to ICO - again less rewards for bounty participants.
I hope that we will see some regulations here and bounty campaigns be more strict in rules and they will choose only the best participants.
So, what is your opinion, guys?

To solve this issue and appreciate the work of bounty hunters, I would also suggest that number of participants should be spelled out for each bounty campaign. This will limit the number of participants thus increase the reward for participants. The only disadvantage with this if applied would be that; it will be based on first come first serve but I think that will cool.
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Airdrops Profitable? on: April 26, 2018, 12:29:05 AM
Hi everyone. I've tried participating in a couple of airdrops but haven't gotten any coins yet. For those of you who have, how do you go about making anything out of airdrops? Is it worthwhile or just the usual pump and dump?
From my experience ever ever since I heard about air drops late last year, ELITE, eBTC among a few others have proved that o be successful. Most of them are just useless coins sitting in holders wallets and never show up in exchanges. I used to spend time searching for and joining airdrops but not anymore.
499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC investors around the world gather around and hear me up! on: April 25, 2018, 08:25:52 AM
This is a good idea but it is not going to work simply because there is someone out there who bought his bitcoin below $7000 and wouldn’t mind loosing it for a $2000 profit. Moreover I also agree that the demand and supply must work for prices to increase with stability.
500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Do You Cashout BitCoins? on: April 25, 2018, 06:59:42 AM
There are local exchanges which buy and sell bitcoin. All I need to do is to place a sell order, send them the bitcoin a provided wallet address. I get my cash in my mobile money account after three confirmations.
