I'm calling scam. This guy knows about and accepts three cryptocurrencies, but is brand new to the forum?
However, I like to hope for the best in people. If Adam can provide ANY form of proof, I will happily donate.

Thanks for the reply!
That's what I thought too initially.
If you type in a zip code on cashpayment.com (which *is* ZipZap) you can find plenty of payment centers. Further more, if I go to ZipZap from BitInstant the website shows that there are NO payment centers in the Entire US, which I know is wrong. There is something like 700,000 different places in the US to use ZipZap. Hell, I've even heard about on NPR one afternoon.

That's obviously not right, what browser are you using? This is good customer support. Trolling the forums looking for issues. Keep it up BitInstant.

They're "different". Also, easier to mine. I personally don't see the point, unless you're the guy who invents it, and secures the first million coins or so for yourself.
It's just greedy versions of Satoshi who don't actually invent anything.

You ought to now or soon. This could be the last opportunity to buy BTC below $100.
Guy is a troll and will make you lose money. But if you are that stupid to listen maybe you deserve it. I HOPE that Bitcoin doesn't dip below $100 again. I really want stabilization.

Personally, I'd recommend contacting both BitInstant and ZipZap about this issue. It could be a temporary problem, or it could be a severe bug.

This is in the wallet.. or ?
This is a Bitcoind command.

Could someone link me to an informational page about China Coin?

OK. I understand now. It's so it can check that the account has been funded more easily. Still, is is possible to have a persistent address?
|
|

I was looking at this page, and I saw something that I don't understand. getaccountaddress will return the same address until coins are received on that address; once coins have been received, it will generate and return a new address. Why does this happen? What if I want my an account to have a persistent address, which always goes to that account? Please explain what I don't understand here.

Not all payment centers support ZipZap?

a lite version of Litecoin used scrypt as a proof of work scheme.
What? Liter than lite?

It works the same in alt crypto-currencies. You can choose to pay no fee, but then it will take longer to be included in a block and receive verification.

What could be the reason for the price of btc to go down?
Supply and demand, buddy. There is a pretty static amount of bitcoin being produced at any given time. The more people are buying it, the more expensive it is. The less people are buying it, or the more people are selling it (so the exchanges have more), then the price goes down.

Also there is BitVegas. It's a full bitcoin casino inside Minecraft. I don't recommend using it, however. You will lose money. I just thought it was relevant.

Free BTC, now how exactly does that work?
You look at ads, and they send you trivial amounts.

New member as well. Still don't know how to begin to get Bitcoins. BTW hello to everybody There are lot of ways to obtain some Bitcoin. There are a lot of services that will give you VERY small amounts for free. I recommend using BitReaper to maximize your received free coins. If you want more than a few cents, you can buy them. A good exchange is https://www.bitstamp.net/. You can also buy them at http://bitinstant.com/

I discovered bitcoin about 2 years ago, and I thought it was a cool idea. However, I never really bought any or started using it, as at the time there was very few places to spend it. I really dislike any alt crypto-currencies (such as Litecoin) that compete with Bitcoin. It's hard enough getting enough people to accept bitcoin for it to be usable. Other currencies hurt the dream of widespread acceptance.
