481  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Linux mining distro for the Raspberry PI - MinePeon on: July 07, 2013, 03:14:13 PM
Well now your on-board I best order one before they go out of stock !!!

Edit : ordered, ebay link --->   http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=121004607232
Ok, also bought one. I only hope Neil also buys one and adapts MinePeon to use it...
Well, unless I don't have the time when it arrives, I'd probably go to the trouble of making it hot pluggable for cgminer anyway - so as long as you are running cgminer it would see it and display info on it.
But we'll see what happens when it arrives Smiley
I'm worthless in Linux. When making the program, please let it configure a remote IP, instead 127.0.0.1, as we can put it in another RPI (I for instance have 3) to display the info from cgminer of the one mining...

483  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Help setting up pi with block eruptors will pay 0.5 BTC on: July 07, 2013, 08:39:19 AM
I need someone to talk me through getting my block eruptors mining. I have SSH set up, pi connected to internet. I am just useless at setting up the software. As I said I will pay 0.5 bitcoins to help me through this!
Prefferably will have to use some kind of chat. skype etc..
Don't waste your money. See this thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=137934) and pay attention to the USB HUB you are using to connect the USB Block Erupters to your Raspberry Pi.

I have one of my RPI's mining with 2 USB Gizmos, getting a stable 671 MHash/s, with MinePeon.

Good luck.

...
im worried about that too (maybe not sold in german section but he sold something somewhere) ;( especialy bcoz of yxt signature
now he have only "official ASICMINER Block Erupter reseller for Europe" but 2days ago it was somethng like this + "i ship today more units than bfl ever" Sad

anyway still waiting for news that should be today Wink
yxt had "i ship today more units than bfl ever" in he's signature from the time he sold the first thousands of USB Blocks Erupters, when the price was 2,46 BTC... Remember?

I bought 2 from him at that price.

olha a ideia aqui:

Devem ficar bem fresquinhas.

play ficamos aguardar, boa sorte no desenvolvimento.
488  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 12$+ per GH/s - ESCROW - US/UK ASIC Startup - xCrowd.co.uk on: July 03, 2013, 06:58:48 PM
I hope this project has legs to run. I'll keep an eye on this thread and I intend to buy one Xcrowd 30 GH/s Pavonis Bitcoin miner, if I'm still alive at that time.

Good luck for your project, xcrowd.
Best regards.

There is a lot that I could do if I had the cash, SMS alerts, Android & IOS Apps with push notifications, VPN Tunneling, Remote Access.... the list goes on.

With everyone donating there little bit though I am hoping I can do it all without anyone having to 'pay' for anything (especially me Tongue ), we will just have to see how it works out.
...
Neil

I already wrote this in this thread, but I repeat: Why don't you open a BitcoinStarter Project @ https://bitcoinstarter.com/projects, Neil ?
Why should he ?Wink
He could get more BTC in less time and also advertise MinePeon to more people.

WOW  Grin

Neil, what features have costs associated with them and how much do they cost?

My mining setup is small, and will probably remain that way, but I REALLY want to support you.  What do you think about putting up a list a features that have costs (+ some more for your time) and then adding in a bitcoin address for each?  That way you get the funding you need, AND you can tell which feature is most requested by people that actually matter (people that will pay you).

I was trying to figure out this hidden Easter egg you guys were talking about... I looked all around and I heard no sounds or a ple... then it occurred to me and i set my donation time to 0, sure enough...  HOW could you THING of not even donating 15min of your time!  I would NEVER have found this without it being pointed out to me:P
And what about opening a BitcoinStarter Project @ https://bitcoinstarter.com/projects ?

498  Local / Portugal / Re: Portugal meeting!!! on: July 01, 2013, 09:53:09 PM
ct1aic,

Achas que isso compensa? Eu estive a pensar me comprar, mas.... hummm o preço ainda não me convence...

Eu tenho 12 - 7950 e aquilo a consumir electricidade, cuidado!!!
