Have you tried just:
#apt-get install libboost-all-dev
Then
$ make -f makefile.unix USE_UPNP=-

I found on another thread a reference to a RPC command "importwallet" although i can find no documentation about it anywhere so i am looking for a different approach.
How would a person import a list of private keys into Bitcoin QT through either debug window or Bitcoind? Not a single address but a long list of private keys.
I wrote a small script to restore altcoin wallets after a fork. Essentially all it does is dump private keys and then import them in a new wallet. https://github.com/ethought/PrivateKeyMover

is therre any time left?
If you want to get BitShares X (The bank & exchange) it's released already and trading on bter and BTC38, you can see it listed on Coinmarketcap.com at no. 8 The bad news is you missed the IPO (Donating) thing they had which ended on 28/02/14, the good news is it's cheaper now to buy than people were paying during the IPO. (To get access to other BitShares Dac's coming up you buy BitShares-PTS) So today, is it better to buy Bitshares-PTS or BItshares-X? I have just spent a few hours reading about both and think I am more confused than when I started.. If I understand correctly, Bitshares-PTS is the sort of 'base' asset which gives you potentially a small part of any futures DACs..

What is anyone's opinion about the best place to mine UNO these days?
Not saying its the best as I haven't tried the others but: https://www.miningpool.co/Has been going strong for a while, found over 61000 UNO blocks.

Has all the coins be mined?
What's the total amount of coins are there?
Unless I am mistaken POW mining only lasted 1 week. Now it is pure POS. **Pure Proof of Stake with Proof of Work period upon release **Proof of Work Algorithm**: SHA-256 **Total Number of Coins**: 1.6 million PoW / 22 million total **PoW Block Reward**: 80 BTCD **PoW Blocks**: 20,160 **Total PoW Coins: 1.6 million **PoW Target Blocktime**: 1 minute **RPC Port**: 14632 **Port**: 14631 **Time to Maturity**: 110 Confirmations **Proof of Stake Reward**: 5% per year **Minimum Coin Stake Age**: 8 hours In order to be upfront, BitcoinDark will have a 1.5% premine (24,240) to be used for development purposes. The premine will NOT be dumped for personal gain.

Because they are cleverly concealed scams..
I've been on this forum for about 2 years now, I've never been accused of scamming some one. The people I've worked with will always say you that I've paid what I promised and I got proof of that. Please provide feedback instead of saying something totally clueless. You don't know me and we never did business with eachother. Just because you are saying something without any evidence makes me trust you less, say what you know for 99.9%, don't just say anything to fill up space. Okay, fair enough, maybe my comment was too harsh and I should have said: "Because they are probably usually cleverly concealed scams..". I did not mean to say this one definitely is a scam. Just getting weary of what seems to be becoming an emerging trend, "We will do all this cool stuff, just give us ___ BTC". IPOs that offer nothing first other than a good idea and a list of bullet points are essentially asking for funds (in this case one million euros, not a trivial amount) for just that - an idea and a couple of parameters. Most investors in my experience will say to you, "You are trying to sell me an idea for one million euros, but you actually have nothing yet - no code. If I really liked the idea why wouldn't I just go and do this myself? You are essentially asking me to invest one million euros in you, and I don't know you."

I am still struggling to find good sites which accept Bitcoin as a mode of payment. I am from outside the US. And most of the sites which accept Bitcoins (such as Dell and Expedia) limits that option to customers within the US only. I have tried Overstock, but the stuff there is slightly more expensive, than it is in other stores. Try coinsfortech.com - my experiences with them have been excellent.

Bitcoin never had an IPO. Neither did the original Namecoin, nor did Litecoin. Why is it that all of a sudden all these new chains now require IPOs?
Because they are cleverly concealed scams..

Everything is looking good! 3 blocks already!
OK guys, I've knock down 7 consecutive blocks! What's up?
My config was borked, I just now got one rig on your site. hurray! And 3 blocks found! Are we the only ones mining? We have found every block since the fork. Well there is 22+ MH/s of scrypt mining away at nothingness on Mining Pool Co. And the thing is we contacted them, they must not check their bitmessages. Apologies, have turned off mining now. Were going to shut mining down last night but something came up Good luck with the move to x11.
|
|
|
Yeah, mining x11 at xpool.ca only got 0.09 BTCD in more than 12 hours with 6.4 MH/s - does not seem worth it.

Great work!!

And another thing, though I'm following this topic for a long time, but did not understand what happens with the remainder of 15% if the IPO does not collect the necessary funds.
I would like to know this too.
