I don't support this idea . This point view is superficial and erroneous. ICOs have a very positive impact on the development of the crypto industry, all the negatives come from scammers who pretend to be honest projects , but disappear with money after the end of the ICO. It is they who create a bad reputation for a crypto and kill the market.

Я не жду в 2019 каких-то серьезных положительных изменений . Конечно , все может быть , особенно если будет запущен баккт и приняты етф , но это всего лишь предмет манипуляций и их запуск я ставлю под сомнение . Зато в 2020 в любом случае произойдет уполовинивание награды btc майнерам , что просто обязано положительно повлиять на цену битка и рынка в целом . Ребята , не поддавайтесь "панике" . Не надо ничего "грести на всю котлету" , все решения принимайте взвешенно и с пониманием того , что делаете . Ситуация на столько неопределенная , что те цены которые кажутся "сладкими" сегодня , через неделю будут недостижимыми хаями . John Rockefeller many years ago said : "The way to make money is to buy when blood is running in the streets". I think this person knows what he is talking about, that's why it seems to me now is the right time to buy, and if the market price goes even lower, then buy more. That is how money is made.

HODLing of shitcoins will get you nowhere , it's true . But what can you tell about bitcoin hodlers since 2009 , or ethereum since 2015 , or many others ? I think hodling must be smart in order to give you profits in the future . I mean it's really stupid to expect a fantastic growth from (for example) beercoin or kittencoin . Do not compare shitcoins with normal projects, it's a different things .

Better in what? These projects are designed for different purposes, have a different target application and different users. The only thing they can compare is the total capitalization. Actually ethereum is 137 usd right now and it is unlikely that it will start to climb up in nearest future. Market is absolutelly bearish and I believe we are still far from the bottom . I'm afraid that market will need a lot of time to recover and this year nothing good is expected
