Yep, hotfix doesn't seem so hot, sync has stopped at 20160 blocks for 15 mins now and doesn't look like it wants to move on.
Synced up to block 73885 for me now. |

Asia-QT was open the whole month maybe restarted it 3 times , and it only minted once, not @ 100% it was more like 2%,
and atm it still dosent sync.
on my wallet i have got exactly 3.7% for two weeks . did not calculate how this compounds in one year quite possibly it compounds to 100 % per year That is even a lot more than 100% per year (is around 150% - just calculate 1.037 ^26) 14/365 x 100% = 3.83561% There is definitely compounding effect but staked coins need to mature for 2 weeks before being able to stake. Your calculation is based on 100% per year. However, the revised POS schedule will reduce the stake interest to 80% at block 72,000. It is part of the reason for the sync issue we are currently facing. There is also an element of luck as stake interest only even out in long run. AsiaCoin stakers who get a higher % are the lucky ones since the stake rewards are going down over time. The calculation right there takes into account the two weeks  As you indicate there is however some luck involved. It just proves you are in the ballpark. That's right. That is the ball park. Compounding is bound to happen but at the rate we are progressing, we are moving up the blocks at twice the rate we expected. I expect that we will be down to 20% in 6-7 months instead of the initial 11-12 months. |

You are using the latest version of the wallet? Another trash coin. Blocks are not stable. Looks like the FUD spreader is here. We have narrowed down the synchronisation problem and we are working on it. It is unfortunate that this happens on a weekend when it is harder to get everyone in. |

Interest of 100% per annum doesn't mean you get 100% each time you stake. Please take note that once you stake, your coins need to mature for another 14 days before staking again. It also depends on the age of your coins as well. Some coins may be older, some may be younger. We are having some syncing issues due to the hard fork. It is a minor glitch caused likely by a mismatch of the logic handling the hard fork. Our developers are analysing the code. |

my wallet is stuck on block 7199 and will not snyc. I backed up the wallet.dat file and re downloaded the client but the same thing happens. Can someone please give me some help.
Explorer wallet is stuck at 71999 too. The getpeerinfo shows all my version 2.0.0 peers are on 71999 too, but there are 0.7.2 peers at block 72491... some kind of fork between version seems to be happening... The other explorer http://ac.blockx.info/ is also stuck, but at block 72004, so it may have access to just enough 2.0.0 peers to stake a few blocks further... The peers using 0.7.2 are most likely the old wallets. |

I'm worried about Bittrex delisting AC. Something should be done about that today! Perhaps some news or the dev team can contact Bittrex and let them know of any development in the making!
I wouldn't worry too much. Bittrex is never a hot trading exchange for AsiaCoin. Even the recent increased in price did not see much action on Bittrex. MintPal and Bter are the main exchanges for trading AsiaCoin. |

Based on the current rich list, we can see that the top 100 addresses are holding almost 70% of all AsiaCoins. Taking a lot the bagholders, we are looking at less than 30% being available for trading on exchanges.
And to add to that, many are not staking..... This coin is seriously undervalued. All the 6.6k addresses should be staking unless AsiaCoin is being moved around. The interest cut will come at block 72,000 and we are now at 71,659. The cut is definitely coming a lot faster than we expected as it was targeted to take place after 2 months. Now will be a good time to buy some AsiaCoin and transfer them to your wallet for staking. |

Unlucky for me I sold all at 200 SAT yesterday.And then it touched 350 SAT today.Currently at 265 SAT.
It is a simple rule of buy and hold that made Warren Buffett the rich man he is today. I believe the fundamentals of AsiaCoin is there so I have confidence that we are remain above 200 sats. You can still place your buy orders at above 216. |

this pump is just good for dumpers and bagholders not for investors ... and it will come back to 100sat soon .
you can just let others dump their coins on you by making buy orders on this .

newbie question: recently bought a new pc and my AC wallet is on my old PC. i downloaded new wallet onto new PC from the windows link on op. Presumably all I need to do is enter my passphrase from my original wallet into the new wallet (in the menu box which reads encrypt wallet - enter new passphrase) and I'll get access to my original account. Is that right? TIA No, you need to move your wallet.dat file over to the folder containing the wallet files. |
