484  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Turning $50,000 into 1M in 365 days- Buy and Hold possible? on: December 27, 2017, 10:20:33 PM
Inspired by HR's thread ($10,000 into 1M):
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1936239.0

Looking for input from experienced traders regarding my coin picks and their fundamentals to see if a buy and hold (with adjustments but not day trading) will be possible to 20x the initial investment of $50,000 ideally within a year. I would like to aim for $350,000, and a maximum of 1,000,000.

Snapshot of portfolio based on today's pricing:
Bitcoin (BTC): 42%
Ethereum (ETH): 22%
Ripple (XRP): 14%
Iota (MIOTA): 10%
Basic Attention Token (BAT): 7%
NEO (NEO): 1%

I don't believe this current portfolio will be able to reach 20X due to majority being established coins that have already moved considerably. Last month's ROI was approx 22%.

I'd like to adjust my future portfolio for the next month to look like:

BTC: 15%
ETH: 20%
XRP: 20%
IOTA: 20%
BAT: 5%
____: 5%
____: 5%
____: 5%
____: 2%
____: 2%
____: 1%

Ideally I'd like to change either my BTC or ETH holdings into the next big project, similar to how HR changed his LTC into ADA, but can't decide for now.
For the speculative ones, I'm aiming for coins with <50M market cap with good fundamentals.

I'd hopefully update this every week, for those whose advice I take and profit from I'd plan on giving back in some form as I reach milestones (100k, 200k, etc). Of course if it all goes south you'd just have to accept my gratitude Wink

Any suggestions/constructive criticism is welcome!

Just an opinion,  i think you should have more several micro cap coin with price tag under 1 cent, they have a lot of room to grow and its easy for them go grow to 0.1cent
485  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading APP - Help! on: December 27, 2017, 09:56:20 PM
I dont recommend using mobile phone applications for crypto trading, especially if you gonna trade in larger sums.
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] INTENSE COIN - Blockchain backed decentralized VPN - Hybrid PoW on: December 27, 2017, 09:22:26 PM
I would like them to block the entry of nicehahs in the pool, so that we have more opportunity to earn ITNS than we really want to mine this currency. the reward is small now and I have stopped mining it for now.
i can mine more profitable coins, but yet i mine ITNS event if its not very profitable right now, Ill stick up with ITNS minig for the sake of the network, since nicehashers hop in and out of it
487  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traveling to Korea - Arbitrage - Crazy idea? on: December 27, 2017, 07:38:27 PM
Please update on your progress, and what problems you encountered in Korea. Best of luck, hope everything goes your way
488  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why different exchange markets have different prices on: December 27, 2017, 07:21:19 PM
I'm seeing  huge price gaps in the same exchange, but different pairs as well, for example in kraken bitcoin price in euros is higher than in USD. This is all due to usd/euro exchange rate or other parameters?
489  Economy / Gambling / Re: One thread per site ONLY on: December 27, 2017, 06:49:50 PM
How trust worth are those crypto gambling sites? Is there any casinos with good reputation which payout all earnings? i have read that most of them are scam-like sites if you win big prizes you get suspended and lose all your funds for "hacking"
490  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to preditct coin price? on: December 27, 2017, 06:32:59 PM
it mostly impossible to predict coin price since markets are up for 24/7 and anything can alter coin price. But at this moment all coins are showing uptrend
491  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Happy New Year $22000? on: December 27, 2017, 06:05:23 PM
I like how people are blindly guessing the price, yes i agree that bitcoin will reach and surpass 22k usd, you dont have any evidence to accurately predict date and price, im GUESSING that bitcoin will reach 22k after chinese new year
492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance vs Bittrex on: December 27, 2017, 05:37:19 PM
I prefer binance over bittrex, i have started by usin polonies then transitioned to kraken, then back to poloniex as my main exchange, but ran into ID verification problems at poloniex and support did not respond to my ticket for extended period of time so i tried out bittrex and binance. I prefer binance interface and it has all my desired currency pairs
493  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need advise on choosing an exchange on: December 27, 2017, 05:19:08 PM
Have you hear before about poloniex/bittrex?? This sites are more then popular others exchanger, I am using this and I don't see any problem (withdraw / deposit). You have to search Google how to deposit and withdraw from this sites. I think you can get your answer.

I've checked both exchanges and cannot find how to deposit through debit card in USD and there seems to be no option of withdrawing in FIAT. Quite useless IMHO.

You cant deposit neither to poloniex not to bittrex using your debit card. You cant withdraw USD to your bank account. I always used kraken to withdraw and deposit Fiat currency. I dont know if you can do it tho, im not sure if it will support your bank branch
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] INTENSE COIN - Blockchain backed decentralized VPN - Hybrid PoW on: December 27, 2017, 04:55:10 PM
There is no trades yet on the new exchange, the site is also not protected with https, I'm afraid of sending my fund to such a beta platform.

To what are you exactly referring to? ITNS won't be listed on Bit-Z, if your talking about that exchange. Would be great if you could elaborate a bit because ITNS is all about anonymity and security. You're making it sound as if something isn't properly secured  Smiley
I believe he is talking about http://altcointrader.space/ ITNS is listed there yet this is a very new platform in beta testing phase, with first trades yet to be done
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the most stable altcoin? on: December 27, 2017, 03:45:30 PM
I think it's Ethereum. The main argument is that there is alive person behind it. I'm sure that Vitalik Buterin is supporting Ethereum, so as long as he has control over it, ethers will not crush. His person is too famous and big to make the platform fall.
well, but do you remember what happened when someone spread rumors about Vitaliks death. ETH plummeted, so if something happens to him or he will leave ETH it mai be disastrous for the network
496  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to choose good coin!? on: December 27, 2017, 03:34:51 PM
When i'm looking for good coin i'm usually taking to account coin cap/activity on social media/white papper and wheter it's a new concept or it a clone of something
497  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do people actually buy coins with real life money? on: December 27, 2017, 03:15:04 PM
Every month i invest a fraction of my income (fiat currency/money) to altcoins, usually i wait for a dip and then buy promising coins. Rarely i trade on the exchanges crypto pairs, i i trade mostly BTC pairs
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] INTENSE COIN - Blockchain backed decentralized VPN - Hybrid PoW on: December 25, 2017, 04:09:15 PM
Greetings friends.
Has anyone sold their coins on the spike to 0.0000079 BTC on stocks.exchange?
My orders not filled but have price 0.00000333 BTC and 0.00000666 BTC and have been installed in advance on 12/12/2017 just to catch such spikes!
Support told me that my prices is too high for order execution!
Is there a topic in the forum where we can discuss this exchange?
none did buy at 0.0000079  that was a bug from exchange side, and this spike was shown in the volume graph, the biggest buy order was 0.00000238 i believe
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: John McAfee Says Privacy Coins are the Future....Name your top 3 Small Caps on: December 25, 2017, 03:40:56 PM
John McAfee Says Privacy Coins are the Future....Name your top 3 Small Caps outside of the top 200.  I believe the coins with a low circulating supply and decent volume have potential for huge gains in 2018.  Here are my top 3 outside the top 200 in no particular order.  Let's hear everyone else's

1) Spectre (XSPEC) "The reasoning is: - It is PoSv3 so its very fast - 60 sec transactions - It has stealth addresses that make your transactions go through separate uncorrelated addresses - It will feature Ring Signatures from v1.5 on, that makes your digital signature of transaction signed by a person of a specific pool - It is first ever coin that has got TOR with OBFUScation4 integrated natively into an opened client. It makes your traffic appear as a normal one to a provider or whoever looks (instead of looking like TOR traffic) - It has got encrypted chat function which is a big deal for privacy (would be more easy to use in v1.4)
GREATEST FEATURES OF THE PROJECT: They have professional cryptographers (15+ years in the field) who made it all possible.
As some people pointed out, they will have in Q12018 best tech, yet the price is laughable compared to other established anon cryptos."

https://globalcoinreport.com/heres-why-now-might-be-a-good-time-to-pick-up-some-spectrecoin-xpsec/

Spectre is a privacy coin that is so under the radar that it's laughable.  They should probably be competing with Monero at the moment because their privacy tech is amazing.  This one will take off when it reaches the top 100 and people understand how good the tech is.  A much needed update to the website is coming.  Also, XSPEC does stake.

Spectre has a Circulating Supply of around 20 million

They have an update that's in the works that's supposed to make them more private than Monero.  Learn more about it on their Slack or reddit.

2) Phore-PHR: This link tells most of what you need to understand about Phore.

 https://medium.com/@ainsleyh/phore-may-become-a-very-big-deal-in-cryptos-and-a-libertarians-paradise-4283c7563598

Phore is a masternode staking coin with Zerocoin technology.  As I'm writing this Phore has just gone up over 150 percent in the last couple of days.  They are listed on Cryptopia and Coinsexchange with plans to hit other exchanges soon.  When this happens lookout!!! If you think 150 percent was a big movement then you don't understand Phore.  Phore potentially could be a Dash with a Decentralized marketplace mixed in with alot of other things the team has under it's sleaves.  The community is also uncomparable.  The decentralized marketplace mixed in with Zerocoin tech is huge.  Think about it.

Circulating Supply: Around 8 million....It needs to be updated on coinmarketcap.

3) Sumokoin- Monero's relative that most people don't know about.  It's on cryptopia and livecoin and it's a great mining coin.  They've even created their own miner site that helps mine Sumo, Monero, and Aeon which is another undervalued fork of Monero.  This one's just sitting at one dollar and a quarter somehow with a very small circulating supply of only 2.7 million.  "What makes Sumokoin different then Monero?
It's younger and therefore, no historic issues (like old linkable txes), too many hardforks etc.
Sumokoin is secured from day one, there would be very, very, very difficult for anyone who try to track any transaction by blockchain analysis.
The untraceability is not optional, not by a "master node", it's built-in.
It has a default minimum ringsize value of 12 increasing anonymity and protecting from blockchain-analysis.
Sumokoin's unlinkability and untraceability guarantees the coin's future."

Honorable mention: HUSH.  They have some of the best privacy features available being a fork of ZCASH.  The overall team needs to get their act together quickly otherwise they will miss the boat.  If they manage to get it together HUSH can one day hit it big.

I will give you just one that I predict will be the biggest mover in 2018: Intensecoin http://intensecoin.com Intensecoin has a CryptoNote pedigree and so has many anon features we come to expect, but raises the bar significantly with secure p2p VPN tunneling over the blockchain and PoW/PoS. Staking coins is done though the VPN built-in wallet which allows you to advertise and sell VPN services securely to others at whatever price you choose. This is going to be a huge opportunity to build secure communities and marketplaces without intrusion.
It is a young project (only four months old), currently trading for around 50 sats at only a single small exchange https://stocks.exchange/trade/ITNS/BTC with major exchanges soon to come.

A month ago i decided that i will invest into ITNS https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/intensecoin/ it grew x3 times since (at this time ITNS is around 100 sat, recently it was pumped to 240 sat but it does not count as price did not stick, yet it shows that it has potential since some bigger investor invested in it early and did not hesitate to pay x2 its value) and this is just a beginning
