Babar Azam was the only reason why they were able to score 350+ runs and now after he got out they have lost 6 wickets and are unable to score runs. Overall I am certain they would be able to reach to 400 runs which in my opinion is good score and it wouldn't be easy for Kiwi batter to chase those runs.

It is a very good sign that players like Agha Salman and Sarfaraz have played very well. Rizwan has been out of form for a long time. If Rizwan had been able to perform well against England then maybe Pakistan would not have been defeated in all the Test matches. Against New Zealand, Babar, Salman and Sarfraz played very well. However, after collecting 438 runs on such a pitch, it cannot be said that Pakistan is in a safe place. The match seems more likely to be a draw. New Zealand scored 92 runs without losing any wickets. Pakistan ended up their inningd on 438 runs all out , Good match played by Pakistani batsman Babar Azam, Sarfaraz and Agha Salman. Can someone post the screenshot of kholi as to whenever he got out in the test series against Bangladesh. As I remember he was like a child who wanted to only bat and if he got out he would fight with everyone to get his out nullified. When France almost snatched the cup from Argentina with their equalizing goal in the second half i was wondering if the 23 years old Mbappé will have to win the world cup two times in a roll without any opposition but was delighted when the penalty shoot ended in favour of Argentina and finally Messi won the only cup he hasn't won in his career he can even decide to retire anytime soon.
I was also relieved when i saw the first penalty missout from France players, i dont know why Mppape was so high spurited in defending their champion, but then football wont be fun if France retains the cup this season. The just concluded world cup, is speculated to be the best world cup in football history and why because of the final match between Argentina and France and how the world cup finals ended. That was indeed the most interesting and thrilling final onw could ever watch . Game changed at 80th minute and after that France and Argentina keep on competing goals and at the end penalty shootout helped in final result and winner. The qualification process for the FIFA 2026 world cup has not been finalized but this is for sure that more teams will be able to fulfill their dreams of playing in the Fifa world cup.

On the other hand, we from Asia have an additional quota of 8 slots to compete in the 2026 World Cup One more slot can be obtained by Asian representatives through the intercontinental playoffs. Does FIFA plan for more advanced football, or will the matches become more monotonous with low quality participants? without taking the Asian participants for granted, but there will be more small teams than big squads. big clubs will be disadvantaged by the length of time the world cup performances will take place, especially if their star players get injured. and there is no guarantee that by increasing the quota of participants, the development of football will experience many changes, especially in Asia. I think FIFA is intentionally doing it with 48 teams instead of 32 in order to promote football even more,even in countries which had never a possibility to be in such a huge event like the World Cup and I agree with this policy they are taking for this upcoming World Cup. I don't think that the games will be monotonous at all,the so called small teams will give not their 100% but their 200% because they want to show what they are made of and we will most probably see a better World Cup than this one we just saw in Qatar just a week ago. The 2022 Qatar World Cup is just over and the joyous streak is not over yet. I don't believe it's a good idea to think about the 2026 World Cup right now. At the end of the day, India mustered only 45 and lost four wickets. Not only did Virat Kohli perform badly, India's top order failed completely. Bangladesh cannot give a big target. Even then, India batted badly. I thought India would reach the target by losing 2/3 wickets. But now it is challenging for them to win the match. If Iyer and Pant do not play well then India will lose this match. Batting in the first session is very difficult. Indian players have to play very carefully.

It was they (France) that did not have the zeal and determination that Argentina had, and that's what cost them the cup. Had it been that they've been serious from the beginning, there wouldn't have been a penalty shootout. Conclusively, both teams were fantastic. I was a supporter of Argentina in this World Cup. I supported this team only because of Messi. Even so, before the start of the World Cup my guess was that Brazil was the favorites to win the title. Because they have a lot of star players in their squad. Unfortunately they could not win the title. They lost against Croatia. Overall Argentina's team was not very strong but they managed to win the title. Coach Scaloni's match strategy is absolutely commendable. Already in the match against Switzerland in the group, it was seen that they had problems with scoring goals against strong defenses, and this was also decisive in the defeat against Croatia. We can come to that conclusion now that he also has that title in his possession. Maradona would have been proud of Messi and his country. Too bad he didn't get to experience it. Pakistan's batting line-up is weak as we have seen it in the last few years. The Pakistan board has failed to find talented batsmen for their squad. Pakistan's bowling line-up is very strong. But they are still dependent on the performances of Babar Azam and Rizwan. If these two players do not play well, Pakistan team cannot collect big. Unless Pakistan's batting line-up improves, and the batsmen do not consistently perform well, Pakistan will not be able to improve in the Test format.
Atm, I doubt if anyone considers Pakistani bowling lineup strong. They have good white bowlers but it's not true in Test cricket at all, it's the weakest bowling lineup I've witnessed from Pakistan. Shaheen is the only capable name that comes to my mind. Naseem and Rauf are good but they need to play more red-ball cricket in domestic so their body doesn't break after bowling 15 overs a day. Everybody knows how their body broke after playing just 1 test. Abrar is a good find in the spin department but I believe he's going to lose his mystery advantage after a few series so management needs to take care of him and allow his art to mature even if he fails sometimes. You cannot deny that the England test team is far better than Pakistan. I would understand the bowling situation but what about their batting? They have to work a lot on their domestic cricket in order to find good talents. Current Pakistan test team is very poor when compared to what they had in the past. Losing a series on their homeground just shows how much theyhave gone from bad to worst. Every team has drawbacks. Every team has some mismanagements. Every team has some players who need more practice. We can't say anything or can't underestimate or can't set a mind about the team. Because anytime any team can perform well and can eliminate their major issues. A small team can win from a big team if it play well and has good management.  All teams have some weak points, we all know that. But we have been seeing this for a long time because of the weakness of the Pakistan team's batting line-up. The last few years have seen the team depend on the performances of Babar and Rizwan. Apart from these two batsmen, no player is able to collect runs regularly. And Pakistan's management is failing to solve it. Since we have been seeing this problem for a long time, I would say it is the failure of Pakistan's management. It is because of their management failure that they are performing so badly. This is a really sad thing for Pakistan cricket team and their fans, they didn't even win one match in recent series . Pakistani batting is struggling badly. We all know that Pakistani batter are quite good in every format of Cricket, they perform well but not with consistency. Only Baber Azam performance is not enough for Pakistan the other should perform too to strengthen the batting lineup. We know that Rizwan are class player but if he didn't perform the management should give him rest but they didn't also the other batter too. Now due to these bad performance of team and many other matter Pakistan government decide to remove the current PCB chairman and bring some one new.. The changing of the chairman of PCB, I think this should not effect on team performance. By the way you are right on some points. The only one person can't do everything. If every player will play his role than the team will give a good performance at all. The management has some weak points which should be fxed as soon as possible. I can't fully agree with this point that changing of PCB chairman won't effect their performance , because some time it's worked for the improvement of national team . Sometimes corruption is seen by the higher levels of the board where they often show partiality in choosing players. Moreover, gaps in the system such as mismanagement, player selection, etc. can have a lasting impact on the entire team. Yes, I agree with you. We often see now most of the corruption in sports is purely political. I think it would be better to avoid political aspects in sports. And if the politics in sports are drowned, then we will never see a peaceful sports audience. Pahapana. Kheladula is a place of entertainment. I think it is good that there is no corruption or anything political. But what I think is that the players have no fault here. It's difficult rather impossible to separate sports and politics , sports have soo much political interference specially in Asian countries. Now PCB is considering to change ramiz Raja because of his strict stance on India and world cup 2023 . New chairman will definitely take precautions as far as decisions related to India is concerned. |
