481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY DOES BOUNTY PROJECTS TAKE TIME TO ENTER A MARKET on: September 03, 2019, 11:13:38 PM
Listing on exchanges these days is highly competitive. Yes, a project can list on any, but such exchange might not be on CMC, let alone being a global exchange that has good 24 hours volume. If any listing will be allowed, then it had to fulfill some criteria and this differs from individual exchanges. However if the project is good, then finding a good exchange will be much easier.
482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Came Back After a Year on: September 03, 2019, 11:00:24 PM
Change is an inevitable factor in the crypto space and it is evident on bounty. The situation of bounty is not like it used to be. Whoever is just coming in newly or as been around for a long time, but took a break like the OP, need to relearn a lot of things. The world is really changing, which means bounty and crypto in general, cannot be stagnant.
483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My greatest crypto regret on: August 29, 2019, 10:17:32 PM
If I have any regret whatsoever, is to see a good project that I should invest in, but there might not be fund to do that. This has happened to me several times. So when I see those coins perform well in the market, it pains me. The same had happened recently again, which makes me to see it reoccur several times. Although, I believe I will one day overcome such challenge.
484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why did you choose your current exchange? on: August 29, 2019, 10:13:22 PM
Not everyone has the privilege of having a favourite exchange, except you are only into trading, in which you choose where to trade, but for a bounty hunter or investor of crypto projects, you will inky comply to the exchange in which the project you are dealing with is listed. Although, if you are the type that trade on decentralized exchanges, you can do that yourself or persuade your project team to Liston decentralized exchanges.
485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin today on: August 29, 2019, 10:09:53 PM
It is better to be involved in a viable project, than be without direction. If a project whose coin has been lunched, is backed up with a useful product, no matter how small it is, it has in IRS own little capacity added value. It is better of than a lot of projects with nothing good to point at. This are the type I am on the lookout for. Our exposure in the crypto space ought to have made ours wiser and to know what we really want.
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why do people lose confidence with ethereum? on: August 28, 2019, 10:45:56 PM
If people lose confidence in a coin, they will not want to invest in it and such coin is likely going to die very soon. Ethereum on the other hand, is a coin that has we on the trust of so many people, therefore, it is arbitrary and not normal for such people to claim it is not a good coin.
487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which project you are more likely to invest in on: August 28, 2019, 10:38:34 PM
@OP, I have seen your project and I know where you are coming from. You truly have a good idea, but I feel you easily do that, without organizing any form of fundraising. Also, with such service you are rendering, there are ways in which you can get more money to keep developing the platform and that you yourself can honourably earn more.
488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not ever complain, You must believe in every action you decide. on: August 28, 2019, 10:33:30 PM
This is why whoever will be investing in cryptocurrency should be a mature person. Someone who will be able to take some risks with his own volition and without dragging anyone into it. Even if you want to invest in any coin, you should first make your findings and ensure you are doing what you know something about.
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Low market makes ICOs cheaper on: August 27, 2019, 09:40:28 PM
You do not try to take advantage of every coin that you see selling low, because you never can tell what will happen. Well, the best thing you should do is to always do your research before investing. Also, the risk involved in investing is also inevitable. However, do what you enjoy best and you will gradually learn what you should and achieve your aim if you do not give up.
490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The fuel for the next bull run on: August 27, 2019, 09:24:31 PM
I appreciate the initiative of some projects team, who now decide to bring in and lunch good projects with real use cases these days. With what is now happening in the crypto space, they are now being spurred to do what is right.
If this should continue, there will be more real projects than the fame one, with the eventual eradication of shit and fake projects.
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors are impatient and too quick to judge projects on: August 27, 2019, 09:20:25 PM
Most of them want instant gratification, which most times, make them to made some unimaginable decisions. They are the type that dump their tokens below  ICO price, after lodging so many compliant. They are the ones that keep asking "when exchange". They will never bother themselves on what happens to the product, because of their lack of understanding on how proper crypto project should be run .
492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we in a silent bull run?? on: August 22, 2019, 08:44:46 PM
I think it is still too early to say that we're on the bull run. The prices keeps declining whenever it rises just a little bit. It's so hard to identify but if we have the opportunity to buy good altcoins with lower price, then I think that we can't miss that moment.
decline and increase will continue to occur. but remain vigilant with some bad news related to bitcoin and crypto from several countries like what has happened from America. I hope the rest of the year will run smoothly.

This is how a trader should act, because for such, news is important. It bus news that a trader buys and it is news that he sells. So every coin is backed up with such. Which means that being vigilant and having firsthand information is very essential.
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cyber Crimes and Crypto on: August 22, 2019, 08:39:33 PM
Mitigating cyber crime would have been easier if the tenets of cryptocurrency have not been architectured to evade the long arms of the law. Decentralization and blockchain technology makes it difficult to track the digital prints of an offender

You are right mate, but the beauty of this technology is the blockchain itself. Therefore, we cannot have cryptocurrency without block chain. Also, talking about decentralization, it is not exactly the problem, because it could have been regulated, if they wanted to. KYC is one of such measures.
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Libra the future anyone wants? on: August 22, 2019, 08:27:27 PM
So far, we have only seen so much hype on Libra coin and it seems the hype is now dwindling.
At first, the news was almost allover, but I rarely see much about it and that is to tell you that some people are already losing interest it. The team also seem to be relaxing. Perhaps it us the marketing team that is not functioning well as supposed.
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance's IEO vs Huobi's IEO : Which is better? on: August 22, 2019, 08:23:08 PM
i will say both exchange is good for IEO but you can see from top class exchange its really tough to perticipate on IEO bcz of strict rules !in the end i will say binance, huobi, gate IEO are best to peticipate Smiley
There are no strict rules per we. At least those who manage to participate in it still scale through and it is not as if they are given special preference over others. The issue is that, it is highly competitive on bigger exchanges, which is why the fastest finger takes it and you need to be conscious of the network or server you use in browsing.
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think 40% bonus is too much for early Investors? on: August 19, 2019, 09:17:23 PM
There are projects that give bonuses as much as 50%. The worst part of it most times is the private sale. Which is why they do not disclose the bonuses or the price at which the tokens were sold to the private investors. If I may say, I believe 30% bonus should be the maximum. It can still be reduced to something much lower, depending on how the team views it.
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Downloading a wallet on an external disc drive? on: August 19, 2019, 09:05:57 PM
Hello everyone,

I was wondering if it would be advisable - because I know it can be achieved without much trouble - do host the wallet files on an external disc drive.

Will it stress particularly the disc drive in question?

Will there be any latency due to this?

Thank you for considering my questions! Smiley

Not only does this not create problems, it is best done.
A wallet with a lot of money is best placed on a computer that does not have a permanent Internet connection or on removable media that is not always connected to the network.
So you protect yourself from hacker attacks and viruses.
If you have your wallet files on external hard disk, inasmuch as it will be connected to the internet whenever you connect it to your PC during use, it can still be hacked. However, a wallet does not just get hacked if there is no linkage of its private security details, because it is not the same as a hardware wallet and neither is it the same as an offline wallet, except you have the files of an offline wallet on it.
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some bounty managers have no experience on: August 19, 2019, 08:52:26 PM
Apart from them being competent, some of them are even shady. There are few bounty managers I can trust. That is why I am not surprised seeing some of these managers get red trust.
I have seen so many amateurishly done spreadsheets. A spreadsheet without heading and not properly organized.
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many new traders are playing to lose on: August 18, 2019, 09:32:53 PM
Money is not taken out of thin air. If someone made a profit it is likely that someone has suffered losses. There is no one to blame and even more so to blame the cryptocurrency itself.
Coming to the crypto market to invest, without the prior knowledge of the volatility of crypto currency or knowing about how volatile it is and yet investing without accurate information is like gambling. Which means that you stand a chance to loose what you have invested. Therefore, knowledge is very important.
500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bullrun time is the best time to trade on: August 18, 2019, 09:13:40 PM
If there is bullrun and you are trading, you might not be able to truly test if you are a good trader or not, but bearish market on the other hand is a through assessment period for a good trader. However, it is still safer to trade during bullrun, because there is lesser risk of losing one's fund.
