481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to buy not top 100 crypto currencies? on: October 15, 2018, 03:23:54 PM
The top 100 coins are probably the most safe coins to buy given that they might be the ones who are already established enough. Though we cannot predict immediate success yet it is always risky to buy coins that are not at the top. They might give you good returns but high failure rates as well. So make sure you do a good background check for the coin to buy.

483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Investments Why Risky? on: October 15, 2018, 02:24:59 PM
Yes we all know it is very risky to join ICOs given that it is more lika a gamble. We will never know if the business will really live to our expectations or just die like any of the failed ICOs. It is beyond our control not even the team's, it is about how well the ICO is accepted among its users or clients. So for me the last part that talks about trust is really important given that not all can be trusted and anybody can just do scam without being noticeable immediately. So research should be done before joining it.
484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why ICOs fail on: October 15, 2018, 06:40:49 AM

2. No unique Use case and lack of creativity:
The reality is, ICOs are not straightforward and with new ideas and concepts arising daily, you need to get noticed....

This part is certainly correct. I would agree that the lack of creativity leads to nothing but failure. We know that for every ICO being conceived or developed another ICO grows opposite of what has been implemented. So there is a greater risk in competing most especially to the coins that have been made so popular already so that failure is a near possibility.
485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Definition for bitcoin fans and bitcoin hater on: October 14, 2018, 11:49:24 PM
Actually it doesn't seem so helpful to give haters or bitcoin lovers or fans as you have said a definiton. Defining them may not help the current market for bitcoin, therefore it wise to focus our attention on encouraging them instead to use bitcoin. I saw a lot of haters that where actually converted to become lovers of bitcoin after they have seen others earn a lot from bitcoin. So they ended up eating what they spit when they joined it. And it was annoying for them how they were made fun after that. That's is what happens most of the time to haters who were always certain that bitcoin won't be a success and were wrong.
486  Economy / Economics / Re: Simply predict the future of bitcoin on: October 14, 2018, 10:33:44 PM
The market was really bad. It is hard to predict outcome. The reason was simple, bitcoin was never used as much  in a business. How could there be no bubble with investors and whales just holding the coin? Maybe the best thing that should be done is to promote the use of bitcoin rather just holding it. I think predictions always fail because of these situations.
487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple the next bitcoin? on: October 14, 2018, 01:30:11 AM
I think we should consider looking at the volume of circulating coins as a comparison. Bitcoin still has the biggest part which means ripple is a bit far from reaching bitcoin status. Yet as it is moving forward possibilities are still open. Maybe in the future or maybr not at all.
488  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it the best time to buy cheaper crypto while Bitcoin is at high price? on: October 14, 2018, 12:59:02 AM
Yes the best time maybe now. Any coin may be a potential gain during times when bought at a lower price. Yet the prices of coins doesn't guarantee success and even the stable coins could just drop. So do investments with extra care and do more research about the coin to buy. Certainly you don't want to buy when others are still dumping slowly there coins.
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will humanity stop using cash on: October 13, 2018, 10:12:39 AM
I don't think people will really opt to stop using cash. As of now the use of computers to do payments especially with the use of cryptocurrency is costly. The internet connection is a paid service and thus it should add to the value of the products to buy or services to pay. While the actual cash is readily available, cryptocurrency needs internet connectivity which would take sometime to get the payments done. When services fail during an online processing it is certain that it will cause the customers to wait a little longer so it is not quite good. But I don't say cash is always better because otherwise these things could have not evolved as what we have now. The old and the new system must work together to form a better system.
490  Economy / Economics / Re: popularity of bitcoin dictates demand, means more profit on: October 13, 2018, 01:21:01 AM
Indeed this was one of the greatest times when bitcoin was so popular. But sadly after this bitcoin had dropped this year not in popularity though but in the price and its seems people are not anymore investing more on bitcoin as they seem to have understand how bitcoin and any other cryptocurrency as well really had an unpredictable market. Just recently I never noticed that the prices had dropped once again to the bottom.
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC to airdrops is it good? on: October 12, 2018, 04:32:50 PM
I don't think KYC's are good if it does not compensate for the possibilities of getting yourself scammed, perhaps hacked or whataoever where your identity maybe put on the line. One mistake may just get yourself into a big trouble. I have heard cases of stolen identity and  that seems to me iappropriate if you would only get small amount of token.
492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: News: Bitcoin won't be Global Currency on: October 12, 2018, 01:48:06 PM
It may not be global but bitcoin had been supported by many countries which I think is just enough to sustain its popularity and usage. It doesn't really matter for me for as long as many are able to use it because eventually as time goes by there could be changes and who knows it will totally be accepted world wide.
493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has 54% of the cryptocurrency market on: October 11, 2018, 01:48:23 PM
Bitcoin had been the first cryptocurrency and it is not unbelievable to see that bitcoin will have the highest number of users. Besides being very much useful bitcoin had always been a trusted cryptocurrency for several years and has endured the test time through the ups and down of the market. And I think that it will continue to exist despite of several FUDs thrown to it.
494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin bring an end to Paypal? on: October 11, 2018, 12:13:06 PM
I think there is a difference between their services and if bitcoin is going to get even more popular, being a different company I am certain that they will be upgrading their services so as to conform to the current technology or perhaps to surpass whenever possible. People especially in business would never want to just fall and would tend to innovate something for better. So to see the death of Paypal is something quite a bit far from reality.
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or ETH in 2018 on: October 10, 2018, 01:40:05 PM
There might be a high probability for ethereum to go up high than bitcoin. But be extra careful because it might also do the opposite, while it could move fast it could also dump as fast as well which could mean that anytime you could either lose or gain. It is really a matter of analyzing the market so that you can be successful. If you only wanted to just hold and wouldn't care much about gaining maybe bitcoin is better because bitcoin is more stable than ethereum. And as to what coins will rule? I think it is always bitcoin that will stay always on top as what I have always seen since I have participated in cryptocurrency.
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL is the only policy. on: October 10, 2018, 01:06:06 PM
Actually we cannot control the market. Even if we all hold our coins still it wouldn't be enough for cryptocurrencies to be stable. How we appreciate cryptocurrency in its use is not what was mostly found in there whitepaper. Like when we are holding this coins just waiting for it to go up. If all will be waiting for prices to become better or perhaps good, what do you think could happen when all have seen that everything is now favorable? Well it could probably happen that many or most of those investors who are holding coins will certainly sell it, causing a lot of problem to those who have just invested in. As a result prices will again go back to the bottom or maybe even lower as people might think there was really something going on like when people get to question about so many negative things, like when people would ask if this is the end of cryptocurrency and many other not so good comments or statements. I  think that best way to really achieve something is to go back to the plans and working everything so as to follow the real usage as an important basis for the progress of any cryptocurrency. I always believe actual usage is the most important factor to look at for cryptocurrency's success.
497  Economy / Economics / Re: If Facebook promotes cryptocurrency, would it positively promote it? on: October 10, 2018, 08:29:01 AM
It is possible, but as to what purpose should these coins for Facebook serves would be a big question. Even if the person pushing the project is influential but the project is not good, it will just go to waste. It is for this reason that projects display White Paper on their sites to let us see the plans or road map and not just who push the idea. As to the positive understanding of the cryptocurrency, Facebook may be able to push any promotion as easy as delivering a package to the door steps.
498  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin eventually disappear... on: October 10, 2018, 06:35:58 AM
I see this possibilty far from happening in the real world. Maybe it could happen if 90 percent of the total volume of coins is lost. With the very big supply that bitcoin holds it really quite impossible  to lose that much. If this is intended to be a FUD then this for me could be the funniest joke I have read! Thanks!
499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Steve Wozniak claims Bitcoin ‘The Only Digital Gold’. on: October 09, 2018, 01:05:06 PM
Well he was right about it. Other coins were made to have business as the main focus. Of course this is expected as nobody would want to follow what was already been the main function of the other. It is hard to just imitate what was already there strong and significant. In business this is what they call us innovation. So I would agree on Mr. Steve nobody among the coins will ever be the same as bitcoin and it will always be hard to topple it down if it should lose it will be the hardest to fall. As to the rise of bitcoin it might the took sometime to recover as many people are leaving during the fall of the market. But I am certain it surely rise back in the future though the specific time may not be immediate and would be unpredictable.
500  Economy / Economics / Re: Why all people moan about the price of bitcoin? on: October 09, 2018, 08:32:28 AM
Of course there is a reason. They bought bitcoins at a higher price and all of a sudden it dropped in value. Isn't it alarming to loose maybe more than half of your money after the market falls? Isn't it understandable that people are really worried and got easily panicked about what happen. Lucky for those who have invested in the coin when it was priced at 200$ and never sold it  until now. Yet I think there is nobody except for those who lost their private keys and those who just wanted to keep there coins for eternity that have not sold it. This is just the reality of how cryptocurrency behaves that we should be too cautious about our actions since market is always unpredictable. Creating a lot of panic and FUD only worsen the situation maybe the best thing to do is to be patient and work more on understanding the market rather that pretend that nothing happens or think about something like the end of cryptocurrency. Either don't work in the real world. What we needs are a good analysis and a healthy respond towards using cryptocurrency like bitcoin. We should use it more to keep everything stable.
