481  Economy / Economics / Re: Can online platforms like Youtube and Facebook really be decentralized? on: November 21, 2019, 03:39:09 PM
Pretty soon, we will all get an answer to this question, including you. There are several projects that somehow try to recreate the analogy of video streaming services such as YouTube and Twitch on a decentralized basis.
So far, such services have not gained much popularity and some kind of mass character in their use.
However, you need to understand that such platforms are difficult to develop and it is not always possible to make them more convenient than analogues that are very strong competitors.
An ordinary person often does not see the difference between a conventional service and a decentralized one, but it is possible that in the future the advantage of such services will largely outweigh the shortcomings of their old competitors.
482  Economy / Economics / Re: The Government-Backed Digital Dollar (USD) on: November 21, 2019, 02:20:38 PM
I think that in most of the announced cases, nothing further than the announcement will advance.
In any case, until the first precedent for the release of such a working and fully functioning product appears.

In my opinion, too strong a smell of politics hovers around such statements.
Now every country, one way or another, is trying to show that it understands the digital field no worse than others.
483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm planning to invest in Tron Coin on: November 20, 2019, 09:38:56 PM
Coin Tron is considered a good investment, imo because it is very much appreciated in China.
According to the Chinese cryptocurrency rating, the Tron project is at the top of the list, in second place after the EOS project.

In addition, Justin Sun, the founder of the Tron project, has good marketing skills that allows him to increase the price of the throne literally due to the news background that he creates using his Twitter.
I would also like to note that Justin is the best friend of the Head of cryptocurrency on the Binance exchange, which is the god of marketing.
484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALTERNATIVES MEANS IN CRYPTOCURRENCY JOBS APART FROM BOUNTIES. on: November 20, 2019, 07:16:46 PM
One of the alternative methods of earning cryptocurrencies has already been discussed more than once on the forum.
This is the execution of certain works, payment for which can be obtained in cryptocurrency. In fact, it is a freelance with payment in bitcoins or other alternative coins.

You can also look into this topic "5 Ways to earn crypto without investing or mining", maybe there you will find answers to your questions.
485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid falling into a FOMO trap on: November 20, 2019, 06:35:06 PM
This may not be enough, because when FOMO begins, you have very little time to think.
As a rule, everything happens very quickly, you see how the price is growing rapidly and everyone is screaming that it is time to buy.

Do you have time to think about these moments? In such moments, time flows very quickly, so all you can do is prepare for this event in advance.
The best method will be to study all past FOMO in order to understand their nature.

In this case, the chance that you will not fall into the trap and be able to play your cards as much as possible is much higher.
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WILL Bounty campaigns Ever Keep to their Rules and Regulations on: November 20, 2019, 05:17:16 PM
Most projects entering the market are unsuccessful.

They are either fraudster projects, or they are aimed exclusively at raising funds, in other words, they only pursue the goal of earning money,
and strive to conduct a marketing campaign at the lowest cost, using the cheap labor of bounty hunters.

Can we somehow influence this? Yes, does not participate in such projects. It depends only on you whether you lose your time and nerves,
or not participating in such scams. Analyze and deeply understand projects to prevent this from happening.
487  Economy / Economics / Re: Does China Control Bitcoin? on: November 20, 2019, 04:51:57 PM
To some extent, China certainly controls part of the bitcoin market. At least because most of the bitcoins are mined there. However, as far as we all know, the market is extremely volatile, and China, in turn, is not the only giant that owns volumes sufficient for any manipulation. Therefore, China, although it has some weight, but it is far from decisive.
488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reputation at stake will you stop gambling on: November 20, 2019, 11:51:07 AM
For me, everything will depend on potential opportunities. Gambling in my life is just entertainment, I'm not too excited. I can refuse it even without conditions affecting my reputation.
Therefore, for me the answer to this question is quite simple: if refusal from gambling is necessary for reasonable reasons, I will do it.
However, people are more adventurous, this issue may not be easy, because addictions of this kind always subject us to temptation. It’s hard not to break.
489  Economy / Speculation / Re: In 3 sentence or Less- Post your Fundamental Analysis of Bitcoin on: November 19, 2019, 03:41:56 PM
It seems to me about this a lot of texts have already been written and no less discussions have been created. My analysis is this: the overall trend of bitcoin is upward.
Everything else can be found out by examining the technical component of bitcoin in the context of a visual analysis of the economic component of the crypto market.
490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your criteria to go back/sticking with one particular gambling house on: November 19, 2019, 01:48:35 PM
Gambling always carries a key element called entertainment.

In fact, this is the determining factor in choosing a place for gambling.
You can measure this criterion in a very simple way, it is directly proportional to the amount of satisfaction you have received from the whole process, and this has nothing to do with gain.

But the pleasure of the process depends on many factors. For me, the most important thing is the design, speed and lack of lags. I have to feel at home. In comfort and warmth, enjoying even when I do nothing.
491  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you use FB's Libra? on: November 18, 2019, 11:20:06 PM
Funny moment.

Despite the fact that the Libra project is so pressed in Congress, plus the key partners have temporarily (or without temporarily) left the project, uncertainty is in the air.
However, the project launched the main network in test mode. For me, this means only one thing, no matter how much the regulators put pressure on the project, its launch will take place anyway.

I think Zuckerberg probably held his crossed fingers giving various promises to Congress.  Cheesy
492  Economy / Economics / Re: If the stocks market will crash again like 2008, what will happen to bitcoin on: November 18, 2019, 06:57:50 PM
Given that the market is manipulating, I think the following will happen: first, the price of bitcoin will go up very much, fast and fast, so that people would be afraid that if they do not buy bitcoin now, it will be too late and they will not be able to save their savings. Panic will begin, everyone will buy, global FOMO. Which will end as sharp as the rise in the price of bitcoin, because those who manipulate the market will sell everything, creating a panic, a panic sale will begin. Then there will be a flat change, to complete despair in the market, and again growth. Typical scheme.
493  Economy / Economics / Re: Where's my free money? on: November 18, 2019, 05:14:25 PM
Its fun that he still sticks to his idea Cheesy I think that there is no way back now

As well I dont get how people trust someone who says I wil leat my D*** if it not hits 1000000 Sad it was a complete shill from the beginning
I agree with you that the guy is just a bit ahead of everyone else. So to be very honest, McAfee is a complex personality. But the guy appreciates bitcoin and trusts it blindly. Sometimes I feel like he is being sarcastic. I have no doubt in bitcoin’s strength and in an era, where digital currencies will rule the world, I can imagine bitcoin to have all time high value. But this needs some years to become reality.
McAfee is very brave in predicting the price of bitcoin, until the stakes are his own body,
it makes me feel relieved that someone is like that, but will it happen? he predicts bitcoin can reach $ 1 million, hopefully it will be achieved

Not only is he alone scattered by such statements, but he is the first to say that he will do something with himself if his forecast does not come true.
It is obvious to me that his very forecast as well as the promise to eat his own penis are a joke. McAffee is a public person who constantly attracts attention, he will do everything to not destroy his image.
494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling sports predictions on: November 18, 2019, 02:52:52 PM
As I understand it, only mathematics works here.

If your chances of winning are 33%, then you will win in one case out of 3.
You must also understand that there is an error in a short distance, which means that you can lose 100 times in a row, but in a long distance, for example, in 100,000 bets, your chances will always be 1/3.

Based on this, you should look at odds and calculate the potential profit at a distance.
495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Much Money You Need To Win To Stop gambling, Is This Possible. on: November 18, 2019, 11:59:35 AM
It all depends on what I play. When it comes to card games, it doesn’t matter how much I win, I will continue, especially if luck is on my side. While everything is going well, I continue to play, until the moment I start to lose.I lost about 20% -30% of the winnings, I try to finish the games, but it doesn’t always work out, and sometimes I lose even more, even going to minus.
But this has not happened for a long time, because I do not so often engage in gambling.
496  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Scams are a global issue on: November 18, 2019, 10:15:02 AM
Crypto was created very freely. Deception in crypto is the main problem in crypto, so far it has not been able to be overcome because fraudsters already understand the performance system so it is difficult to distinguish, if this cannot be prevented it will affect the global popularity of cryoto, they can penetrate in every runag crypto, so we must be careful to avoid it and we hope it can be overcome by finding solutions together

Everybody wanted to earn and were too greedy, there is less person that I have known in crypto that were trying their best to be fair, almost every project trying to manipulate the price as much as possible, they are trying to make the best price so they can make a lot of money. But, when it comes to real use case they can't even provide real one. So, crypto has been a global issue which hinders the doubts of newbies and afraid of taking risk on it.

It's not about the greed of the creators of the projects.
The crypto market itself is extremely speculative in nature, which forces almost all market participants to adapt to this and resort to various kinds of speculation and manipulation.
It has always been this way, starting from the time of fake news that set in motion the entire market or certain coins.
497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Fiat or Crypto? on: November 17, 2019, 06:41:35 PM
If you do not take into account anonymity, then I prefer to gamble using cryptocurrencies.
Firstly, it is blockchain, which means that the probability that the casino is cheating tends to zero, secondly,

I’m not a very big gambler, but I try to immediately transfer the rest to fiat, after gambling, if possible.
If not, then leave my small amount on the platforms.

I do not see problems with gambling using fiat funds if the jurisdiction of your country does not prohibit casinos.
498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The secret of gambling? on: November 17, 2019, 06:17:38 PM
I think it all depends on your goals.
If you want to make money on gambling, then in this case you can not do without a serious disciplined strategy, mathematical calculations, and control of emotions.
That is, you should treat this as a job. If your goals are to have fun, then have fun building your attitude to money for which gamble as an investment in your entertainment, that is, do not count this money for money.
499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: November 17, 2019, 04:03:34 PM
People who has self discipline will be able to control their emotions and not become too greedy and lose out money. They will know when to play and when to pause and take a break. This people actually make money for them self and rest lose out the money to gambling owners.
Not because you have a discipline in gambling you will win, it does not go that way, discipline is a must but what is needed to win is to have the skills in a game that you choose, whether it's poker or sports betting, you need to be consistently winning in order for you to be profitable, otherwise, you will win some or lose some and you are no different to typical gamblers like us.

To be a professional in gambling is not enough just to be able to control your emotions and know when to stop.
You need to have a good understanding of your own psychology, as well as perfectly know the theory of probability, because it is knowledge of mathematics that distinguishes an amateur from a professional.
500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction at its Worst! on: November 17, 2019, 02:43:12 PM
Gambling addiction is very similar with drug addiction, both have psychological effects once an individual becomes stressed out due to massive loss of funds.
I think It's time for the government to take actions in controlling the gambling addiction. Put up a rehab for excessive gamblers (I'm not sure if It already has in existence, specifically in the Philippines).

The worst thing I have done in gambling so far, is to hide my total monthly income to my wife so I could set aside some funds to gamble in sports betting  Grin. Is this a sign of addiction? ? Lol

By and large, all addictions come primarily from what type of personality you have. I mean, if you have “addictive” of personality type, then you will be much more likely to be addicted of any kind, whether it is an unhealthy love of sweets or a game addiction, it doesn’t matter. Having this type of personality, in any case, you run the risk of being dependent on something. Unfortunately, this can only be eradicated through work with you, because the roots of this problem are from a deep childhood. The first step is recognition.
