It would be great to have hash rate list of CPUs on the first page!

Using which algo? Using which miner? Using which settings? Using which pool?
That is pretty impossible. As a general guideline:

CPUS which have:
1. Newer technologies
2. More L3 cache
3. More cores
4. Higher clock speeds

...mine faster.

Even more general: AVX2>AVX>SSE4/AES
*miner should also be capable of these instructions
If you didn't understand and have no answer, please, don't ask 4 new questions.

I'm waiting to see YOUR contribution to a CPU hashrate list.

JSEcoin is now compatible with ERC20 tokens and can be moved to/from eschanges and wallets!

Great news! Any guide on how to transit from ITNS old wallet to new LTHN wallet safely?

If your itns wallet was up to date, you don't need to do anything, just run the LTHN one.

I don't trust |automatic| stuff and i cannot find the actual wallet file either.
So without backup I prefer having a simple 1-2-3 procedure.

The new wallet uses the same data directory as the old one, which is why he said you don't need to do anything. There are no automatic processes occurring yet. We will be transitioning to a Lethean data directory in the near future. For now, nothing has changed. Your wallet is still stored in My Documents > intensecoin > wallets.

I've moved the wallet file probably, no such folders in My Documents.
Wallet is syncing for 8 hours so far and is painfully slow and there are still 42 days left.
Please add a line in the new wallet which shows it's file location.

Its important to DYOR.
Looked at hypecoin now, and it offers nothing new.  1000's of coins offer the same thing.... payments.
I look for solid projects, something very unique

Like this CPU minable coin intending to
replace web ads monetizing with user agreeable cpu mining?

Thanks for the video. Is it possible to add c -config file for ROI so you don't have ti set affinity

489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] JCE Miner Cryptonight/forks, now with GPU! on: August 30, 2018, 10:20:59 PM
No nVidia mining sorry Wink
Not yet Smiley

Dual mining with a non-memory intensive coin is a smart idea, but it would require lots of changes in my netcode which is completely bound to Cryptonight-style coin. Again, the first step would be the multi-pool netcode. I'm still working on it.

I pretend to be the fastest on :
* small RX550 and 560 (2G)
* Bittube on some GPU
* old HD6000/7000 if you consider claymore 9.7 as dead
* CPUs, in a more or less large scale depending on the cpu and algo (far beyond on non-aes, Turtle or Tube-v2, noticeably faster on v7 and heavy, close to other on CN-classic). And i provide exclusive features like no-cache mode or 6x multi-hash.
* ratio between displayed hashrate/real hashrate (98%, i benched Claymore 11 to rather ~92%, and got bad reports about others)

But not better at
* CN-heavy
* Vega FE
* large-mem RX

I'm working on 0.32k focused on hashrate consistency, with
* Watchdog
* Shorter warmup but then better re-sync in case:
** The warmup failed to reach 100% (in such case it will have high chances of success during the next minutes if you let it run)
** The GPU was paused or pool got disconnected

I understand your focus. My question was if you can provide settings
for using JCE miner + Roi coin miner combo.

How is LTHN team planning to protect Exit nodes IP owners
if they happen to be used by other users for criminal activity?
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] JCE Miner Cryptonight/forks, now with GPU! on: August 29, 2018, 09:24:49 PM
Hi JCE, please check this thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2361848.3440;topicseen

And provide a way to dual mine Cryptonight 7 + RoI coin using JCEminer.
Thanks!

If a LTHN VPN user does crime activity over LTHN network
and it happens that the exit point is my own IP.
Isn't it going to be pretty dangerous to be an exit node?
Yep, in most countries you'll have authorities knocking on your door and they are likely to confiscate all your hardware for the time of investigation. Which is usually months or years. Maybe you'll be charged as well, maybe you won't. Running commercial VPN services is a serious business, part of which is cooperation with law enforcement (except the countries where you don't have to store any logs etc, but I don't expect it's too easy even there). I've still no idea how the devs are gonna pull this VPN thing off. Sounds interesting in theory but it'll probably fall apart in practice. Though crazier things worked in crypto, so maybe this one will succeed somehow too.

Then how LTHN is the safest way to be online? Or you mean chaining several exit nodes?

What if we get framed for some crime?

Please share your thoughts and precautions planned.

Where do I get one from?
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Storj - Decentralized Storage on: August 23, 2018, 08:28:13 PM
Hey team, here is a chance to shine:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2F0wjoKEhg

Famous youtuber Linus was searching for affordable backup for 700TB of data.
If you offer him a good price he can make a video showing it which will be:

1. A HUGE advertisement for Storj
2. A big test for the network
3. Will make some money to farmers
4. Will be a real-world scenario
5. Can make some money for Storj Team too.

I have MSI GTX1060 Gaming X 6Gb on Gaming PC
22-23MH/s with +0 Core +898Mem

I think Core Clock Doesn't Matter

Does anybody know the Memory Type of Palit Dual Fan 6Gb? Its cheapest in my city

From my experience, Palit Dual 3GB had Samsung memory (sold in 2017).
Palut Dual 6GB as the ones that i have are all Hynix. So if you buy, find a way to test it before that.

As for complete overclocking and undervolting guide for Nvidia, see here:

Webchain just became from CPU only to CPU+GPU minable.

500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥[ANN][WEB]🌎Webchain⚡️CPU mining⚡️DApps via Websites and IoT🚀No ICO or ASIC on: August 21, 2018, 11:22:54 PM
On Cryptonight 7, an AMD CPU 1700 mines about 600H/s.
Latest AMD consumer CPU to date is 2700X which mines about 750H/s

Only one CPU can fit per motherboard.

A single Vega 56/64 easily does 2000H/s. Atleast 12 of them
can fit on a single motherboard. So any claims that GPU mining
is comparable and has same profitability as CPU mining are ridiculous.

------------------------------------------------

If we check the first page, here is what it says:

1. Web minable.
 - many other coins are also web minable. Ex: - Monero, JSEcoin, etc.

2. Only public, transparent and trackable transactions, a condition that guarantees a botnet unfriendly network
 - atleast 80% of the coins are transparent.

3. Fast transactions with possible off-chain solutions and on-chain scaling via sharding.
 - Many other coins have fast transactions - ex. ROI coin, BTX, etc. Off chain solutions and sharding are not implemented yet.

4. Constantly upgraded to remain ASIC resistant.

- No evidence yet, no Asic was threatening it yet.

5. DApp ERC20/223 enabled

- thousands of other coins are also smart contract enabled.

So we accept that since August Webchain is not CPU only minable (which was a unique feature).

Then what makes Webchain better than the rest Cryptonight 7 coins (or atleast a unique feature)?

Please understand that I like Webchain and I want to clear things out before I continue contributing to it.
