481  Economy / Economics / Re: Nigeria led global crypto adoption in 2020 on: February 18, 2021, 11:02:12 PM
Nigerians are hard working citizens outside and inside the country. They work so hard to make sure they be among those involved in what's helping outside people within in and outside her nation.
Her leadership is the only major problems we have face fro the past decades and the youuth are becoming wiser and smarter in doing anything to displace them from high positions of the government despite their efforts to make the youth feel intimidated and harassment.
The last time central bank tried to strengthen it Naira by eliminating financial institutions from aiding withdrawals and deposit to cryptocurrency exchange but today Naira has deprecated back to where it started as if the never did anything.
482  Economy / Economics / Re: The volatility in the price of a bitcoin is falling over time on: February 18, 2021, 08:09:41 PM
Everyone claim to be an expert in crypto when the going is good but when the trend becomes difficult and hard to predict, many becomes silent.
I have heard this in last 2020, but I was wondering how the volatility came back during the pandemic market sell off. The market was so volatile that crashes lots of price in Binance exchange.
We can no longer experience volatility because only few bitcoin are left for trading as lots of investors and traders are just holding and looking towards increasing price of bitcoin. I'm very certain that it will return as soon as we enter bear market. Many institutions will move out their money because the bear last in my opinion.
483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CAN RIPPLE SURVIVE? on: February 17, 2021, 07:15:16 PM
Ripple continues to evolve and continue to receive support from Japan. Yes, there are some problems, but I don’t think they can destroy the XRP.

The Chinese guys are crook and will do anything to pump dump XRP just the way Elon was doing with doge but XRP is as good as dead to me since last year. Despite the cofounder dumping his bags the way he likes, they still love it, perhaps some whale know that SEC statement was just a mere threat that will get settle when the time comes but still it's a gamble to me.
There are plenty alts out there that outperform XRP in short and long time, investors and traders should look into those gems than this waste effort coin.
484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All of a sudden they want to join crypto. on: February 17, 2021, 07:08:24 PM
It is okay to help them and the more they are interested they gonna be figure out easily how to earn in crypto , for me i can help them by showing their eagerness and willingness of how's gonna be crypto currencies is, not the people only want is to earn money depending on you at all.

This is why they say if you can't beat them, join the mass movement. The outside non cryptocurrency community has always been indifferent approach against decentralization but now that the bull run refuse to stop, they are all jumping in the ship without due diligence which will eventually burn may hand because of quick gains.
When bitcoin eventually dump unexpected or correction as it used to happen, they will called it fake as they always says but crypto ( bitcoin) is here and the only thing that can stop it is zero Internet which is not possible.
I hope we all manage to learn from this history because I personally have a lot to discuss with my grandchildren about cryptocurrency and how it was during my time.  Grin Grin
485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel, Looking at the Bullrun market? on: February 17, 2021, 06:51:05 PM
Seeing that the market is in its bullish momentum really excites and give back my confident once again in the market because of the fact that this point in time is really good to gain very good amount of profit and earning even we are also seeing that the gas fee is to high as long as its still bullish I am still fine with it.

Saying ''fine" with the way network extort fee from users is not a good thing and when you weigh this with the traditional market, it's a big slap on decentralized ecosystem. What's the will be the main use of blockchain to the outside people who want to interact their micro business. It's going to be so difficult for them to adapt with such system knowing fully how transactions are not successful without returning the gas fee.
The bull run has been a roller-coaster ride, very sweet but bitcoin stole the limelight of this show leaving Altcoins behind. I hope it consolidate so that cash flows into Altcoins.
486  Economy / Economics / Re: JP Morgan says large firms will not follow Tesla's bitcoin move on: February 16, 2021, 07:52:31 PM
Well, my opinion here is very simple, It's their money, They can do whatever they decide to do with it.  And  JP Morgan is in the industries of Bank that's against cryptocurrency features like bitcoin.

If I'm in the position of JP Morgan, I will definitely act the same drama since his life has alway been about banks and benefits around him and wouldn't want people to move from banking system into cryptocurrency.
One thing is certain about the revolutionary 9f cryptocurrency, it wouldn't be force on anyone but when the time is due for people from traditional environment to come to crypto, they will definitely come here.
487  Economy / Economics / Re: We, bitcoiners, should buy a bank on: February 16, 2021, 07:49:01 PM
This will really be a good option especially to some of the countries that have banne the trading of bitcoin in their countries and they are going as far as closure any bank related to the trading of cryptocurrency. Personally, I will not mind it if one would be created.

If a bank s purposely created, then the aim of bitcoin will not be achieve again. Why even buy a bank when Centralise exchanges can do everything for us. What are the features in of banks that centralized exchanges doesn't offer? Of course they do almost everything just to balance everything.
We all see what regulation bodies are doing in some countries, they will obviously ban the use of that bank and it will end up as useless set up.
What happen when the country want you to move your bank out their location, it will become a mess and I must say, there are plenty demerits 9f having a bitcoin bank.
488  Economy / Economics / Re: Earning interest on your crypto on: February 16, 2021, 07:43:32 PM
Hello, I still do not understand the mechanism by which bitcoin or ethereum, or any other virtual currency, increases or decreases the price / value.I kept ethereum for 2 years and not much happened

I still don't understand what you mean by not increasing. Did you kept them on a staking platform or exchange or probably in an exchange.
I don't think it's possible for Ethereum you have kept for 2 years without having increase in value.
It's either the wallet you kept the token has been outdated, needed update or you aren't holding real Ether. The last 2 years should have double your money if you have bought when market was still low.
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel, Looking at the Bullrun market? on: February 15, 2021, 09:14:13 PM
I must saa big congratulations to everyone who benefited from this current bull run. It has been an amazing experience where everyone is now claiming to be a pro trader and investors but I feel little sad about the whole movement because I didn't buy as there was no huge funds. I would have made a huge fortune with this frenzy and Fomo everyone is buying into.
I just hope we don't experience the crash we used to have in the past otherwise, this will be the last solid bull run we will ever experience in my opinion. Many influences made many people have a change of mindset towards cryptocurrency, I really hope it doesn't crash again.
490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO investment criteria and advices on: February 15, 2021, 08:51:48 PM
ICOS were hot back then but the situation of the market is just different right now. They don't really boom as they used to in the past and I'm very positive that when you check ico drops, the available ones will be very limited and almost sold out. They don't list coins like in the past due to regulations.
Instead of looking for Ico that are very risky ( we have received many reports about scam exit in this Forum ), why not look for reputable exchanges like Okex and Binance and participate on IEO since they are still hot, you get a chance of doubling your money with this bull run or participate on IDO on a popular decentralized platform.
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you invest in TRC20 tokens on: February 15, 2021, 08:42:12 PM
From my point of view, I never liked TRC 20 tokens because they aren't much popular and again they lack liquidity. When you hold a bag of these TRC tokens, something order book is very often annoying. Seller and buyer differences are alway huge.
For example Coin A actual price may be $1
Seller order book may be $1.1 and buyer book may be $0.5. Isn't that discouraging even if you plan to hold them for too long.
Another point why I dislike them is that they are used for gaming purposes. You hardly encounter TRC 20 token that are doing something unique. It's always games and gamble with low demand and high supply of tokens.
492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: [Guide] How to Auto Add Smart Contract on MetaMask on: February 14, 2021, 02:43:31 PM
That is indeed faster than copying smart contract to metamask to add token but when I tried to do it using mobile phone tapping on the metamask icon won't do the job and you have to copy the smart contract before you can add the token on metamask.

I hope the below statement should answer your question.

In addition, this works the same way for Metamask for phones. Metamask should be carefully used on phones while they are currently in beta mode, and maybe vulnerable to bug and errors.

Modified
It actually tried the app and just following the same procedure as posted on my first post.
I used Uniswap (UNI) as an example and it worked pretty much on Metamask Mobile App. I'm not sure about other Apps like Trustwallet, Myetherwallet etc.
Simply enter coingecko on your Inbuilt metamask browser and select your favourite token.

Allow for permission and proceed by adding token.

Kindly check your wallet, the token should appear in wallet. I hope this help.
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / [Guide] How to Auto Add Smart Contract on MetaMask on: February 14, 2021, 08:11:36 AM
Investors, traders and crypto enthusiasts have expanded the use of Metamask over the years as it has this special ability that helps them to quickly edit and change the sending of transactions to another user.
Most of the time when you submit unrecognized Erc-20 tokens to an Ethereum Wallet, there is this general difficulty that we encountered. The only conventional approach is to request and manually connect the smart contract to the wallet.
I recently discovered a faster and more secure way to connect a smart contract to any Metamask Wallet. I don't know how recent this feature has been integrated on Coingecko, but I know it's one of the best ways to connect a smart contract to a wallet.

In this guide, i will be using Chainlink as example. Head over to Coingecko and search for any of your favourite ERC-20 token, you will find something similar to the image below

Hover your cursor to the logo of the marked metamask and the Add to Metamask pop-up will display.
Simply click on the logo and proceed to the next image below where a permission will be required to add the Token to your wallet.

Kindly allow Add suggested Token and add the Token to the Wallet.

Then finally, the token has been successfully added into your wallet without going much stress of copying any smart contract from any one.
In addition, this works the same way for Metamask for phones . Metamask should be carefully use on phones while they are currently in beta mode, and may be vulnerable to bug and errors.

494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What determines the price of an ALTCOIN ? on: February 13, 2021, 03:07:02 PM
You didn't check or put other things in consideration.
You forgot the coins in circulation, the locksed tokens and maximum supply as well. You should also put in mind that maximum supply of these projects may change depending on how the ecosystem changes with time.
Some projects total supply is also fixed, while some are subjected to change in the future. The price also determine the total market cap as well as fully diluted market. Please check coin gecko, there are more you should learn from the platform.
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about new projects on: February 13, 2021, 03:00:41 PM
You have said nothing but the pure truth. We have dozens of them on the forum and the funny part, they always have the solution in paper but as soon these tokens get listed, the story changes.
That's when you hear problems like, we are still waiting for good exchange, the team is working to put things in place, the surprising part is that some even fold up or end up as exit scam.
The challenge with most of these projects is tokenization without real value to entire investors, sometimes you may come across a project that's having a product already generating revenue but they are quick tokenize their platform. The whole process is power by greediness and quick to make money otherwise Facebook and Twitter would have created a token and once they do, it will be a blast but the question is, what will be the used of this token. Lips sealed
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What is the best IEO platform to List an IEO? on: February 13, 2021, 02:52:21 PM
What is the best IEO platform to List an IEO?

How to identify weather it is a Good IEO platform or NOT ?

The success of an IEO depends on the exchange platform and the project itself. In summary :
  • Demand comes from what the project is trying to offer investors, if the fundamentals of the project is solid, believe me the demand will be huge for that particular project
  • The team and partners play an important role. Crypto crowd funding is far exposed to everyone. Therefore, the team and partners play major important role on success of their initial exchange offerings
  • Avoid exchanges that doesn't have good volume and liquidity. I can mention some exchanges that do hold several IEO but non of these projects becomes successful at the end despite the sweet bonus but for security reasons, I will ignore.
  • Pick popular exchange from top 10 exchanges that offer IEO on their Launch pad.
Your Tokenomics is very essential, choose a better advisor to your project.
497  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat and cryptocurrency on: February 11, 2021, 09:26:28 PM
Despite the hate of fiat by many crypto enthusiasts, Fiat has been the only route many get into Bitcoin and many other Altcoins and it has also been easier for retail investors to get out of crypto space with their profit.
Many investors run for fiat because of its inflation rate but no matter how long you invest in an asset, at a point in future, your value will definitely be liquidated in to fait in other to enjoy economical value with your friends, family and live ones since bitcoin isn't generally accepted in all places.
498  Economy / Economics / Re: Great reset is done on: February 11, 2021, 09:17:23 PM
Its done and covid will be forgotten
The key years ... for people to waiting new things are
2025 and 2030

What you think what we will see then ?
Will it be war ? Another economic chaos ?
Sure they gona have some new circus

Covid 19 came as a result man abuse of some virus that weren't supposed to be released to the public, its was meant to be a biological weapon in my opinion that's why virus, biological and harmful researches are really regulated.
We certainly don't know about the future but with what has happened so far with the spread of Covid-19, there will be strict regulations and future mistakes. The only problem with economic collapse is that, it doesn't comes from a particular direction. It may be as result of War which we don't pray for to happen but you can never tell as no one expect conflict between Iran and USA that happened earlier last year. We all so the effect on market entirely.
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Potential of an altcoin on: February 10, 2021, 10:00:18 PM
If you are have basic understanding of technical analysis, there is a way traders used ascending wage to measure the outcome of a trade especially when you bought them in accumulation zone, it will be easier to know when to exit the market regardless of the profit you already made.
On a second thought, why not exit the trade at this point? 600% is a good profit for an income. It's better to be in profit than to loose everything one day but if you are aiming higher and a long time then keep it because Enjin is a quality project.
500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crash in Trading on: February 10, 2021, 09:54:21 PM
The problem associated with what you highlighted depends on trading volume and the order book.
When trading is going on with huge volume, expert always consider it aa healthy move either upside or downside but when a token is pumping with out volume coming in, then some may consider it as manipulation.
When an buy order book is so thin and then a sell order is becomes so huge, if any trader should excute a transaction or trade as market order, the whole thing can collapse and crash the price. That's the major problem we encountered most of the time with Altcoins.
That's why during a bear market especially when their is tension, Altcoins do suffer and bleed the most unlike bitcoin that do have just a little correction because there is always huge liquidity to consume this huge orders of market traders.
