481  Economy / Economics / Re: LMAO: Lagarde says Euro CBDC seeks to 'ensure high standars of privacy'. on: December 13, 2022, 04:56:31 PM
CBDC is a private ledger wherein the government, or the Central Bank controls the whole system. You may be given some "privacy" from each other, but no privacy will be given to you from the point of view of the government. Although, CBDC "may" be useful for us Bitcoiners, merely to show how "good citizens" we are, and that we "prefer" CBDC over the "evil" Bitcoin. "Support" and use CBDC my fellow plebs. Cool
That is a fact, and they will have everything on that ledger and that is good enough reason to know that it won't be privacy filled. Their privacy understanding is between people, meaning what you spend your money on will not be known by your friends, and that is understandable, considering how many government programs have been hacked, including FBI as most famous because they have so many secrets and hacking into it means death of so many people, I do not trust that they would be able to keep it a secret between people neither.

However, assuming that they mean that, they do not mean it's a privacy thing between you and government though, that's open channel for sure.
482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2022 Discussion Thread on: December 12, 2022, 09:11:52 PM
This year's world cup clearly gave a big surprise because Morocco entered the semi-finals, when the 2018 world cup, Morocco had to go straight home because in the group stage they were unable to win even once, in contrast to the current group stage, Morocco was able to win the group.
will morocco make a surprise return and be able to beat defending champion france to appear in the final? of course there is high motivation from all the players for that because they are only one step away from getting it. Let's wait for their match, for sure it will be presented as the match we have been waiting for, because France also wants to win so that they can repeat themselves as World Champion.
Sometimes teams evolve together, and sometimes they don't . You could have the greatest players in your team but if they have no idea how to play together, then they will lose.

England faced France so their job was harder, but it is no doubt that they had better team, on the other hand Brazil faced Croatia and had a better team too but they all lost before Morocco. Because, they had worse team? Of course not, they had a much better team but they weren't really a team, they were just a bunch of great players put together and told to play, and that's why they lost. Morocco on the other hand is a close knit team that played much better together and knew what they should do.
483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nobel prize for Satoshi. on: December 12, 2022, 08:34:42 PM
Satoshi is deserving of every humanitarian honor and award there is. But the problem is that anyone who identifies themselves as Satoshi exposes themselves to being tracked and watched by the entire globe. And for Satoshi to consider doing so would be foolish. Wherever he is, he will be pleased with how far what he invented (bitcoin) has come in resolving nations and people's emergencies.
You do not have to give it to someone directly, it could be either post mortem which means they are dead, so you can't give it to them directly, or you could give it to someone imaginary as well, after all "someone" created it, so we know there is a human behind it all (I guess? Cheesy) but that means you just won't give it to someone physically, that's it.

I personally believe he should get it, he deserves it, can you name a single person in any economic or many other areas that changed the world as much as Satoshi did? This dude created something that peaked at over 2+ trillion marketcap together, nobody in the world created something that huge and won Nobel before.
484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are crypto devs so greedy on: December 12, 2022, 08:11:03 PM
There is greed in any industry, such as the stock market? I think there is no essential difference between the bloodshed of encryption and the greed that appears in the stock market and various industries. The most important thing is whether the industry is developing and gradually tends to be rational and healthy. This will not only take time , It also needs leaders with ideas and technology to come out and purify the situation.
Well decentralization has tried to curb these human problems though the problem still exists because complete decentralization is a difficult setup to process. Today most people entering this sphere only look for the quick gains, this leads to non-buying or established assets like Bitcoin and buying or shitcoins and investing in platforms that are less-tested and only based on hype.

Eventually these people understand their folly and they learn their lesson or just leave with a loss. The developers or any project are in for some gain, you have to understand this right away. But your objective would be to diligently invest and get out in time. For shitcoins this is often a myth and by all means they are called shitcoins for a reason.
I have to say it is not going to be that easy to convince people that it is not a marvellous idea to start a new project. Lets be honest with each other we are talking about one of the best ways to make money and that means it is not going to be that shocking for these people to keep spouting newer and newer stuff. It is easy to fall for something that looks good, but 99.99% of all new projects are just way of making money for the devs, and why would they even stop? That is why we just have to learn to live with it.

I personally do not invest into anything that has either lower than 2 million dollars marketcap, or anything that has been released to public in the past 3 months. It has to be over 3 months since release and has to be over 2 million dollars to see if they are legit.
485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: December 12, 2022, 05:48:04 PM
There are two factors that make Real Madrid immediately look for a replacement for Benzema. First, the age factor, and the second is the injury factor. Benzema's age can affect his appearance, his strength is decreasing, advancing age also makes players more familiar with injuries.
Real Madrid cannot count on Benzema any longer even though he is still capable of making a contribution to the team. To anticipate the worst, Real Madrid must move faster in the January transfer market to bring in a player worthy of being Benzema's successor.
Yes, that's what they have to do, they can't wait until it's true that Benzema can't be played for a very long time. Even though they now have players who could replace Benzema, it is still not enough because we know what they are like when Benzema is not in the squad. After all, now the competition is even tougher in La Liga and the Champions League, so they have to prepare for that.
Well, the reality is that if they could get Endrick, and use Benzema for another 3 years at least, that means for the next 3-3.5 years they would have both Benzema, but also have Endrick playing here and there, like cup games, or league games after important UCL games and so forth. That way, he would improve and become a great player.

Consider how Vinicius was when he firs got here, or how Rodrygo was, dude was very young when he got to Real, and eventually got better and better and better, now he is vital part of it. Same can be done but they have to endure with Benzema for another 3-3.5 seasons, find replacement bench level player like Asensio for example as well, because if Benzema injured, Endrick can't sustain that level now.
486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Qatar world cup Final Predictions on: December 11, 2022, 09:34:02 PM
teams like Germany and Spain even though I had a stellar team, were let down by the decisions of their coaches. Specially Luis Enrique. I have to say that he left out so many talented players from the Spain squad like Sergio Ramos and Thiago Alcântara which is very unfortunate.

I think he also gave Pedri a more defensive role than he is used to. I think Germany also could have gotten better players on the pitch. So the AFC teams have really played well which I did not expect. And I am not sure what to say about the Latin American teams as the early departure of Brazil was not what I expected.
When you have a limited amount of players you can pick, you don't pick the best 26 players of that nation, you pick the best of certain positions. Which means if Ramos is overall more talented than some midfield they picked, but they needed that midfield player and yet had better defenders than Ramos, then you do it that way.

Same was said about Brazil and Firminho for example, if he was there then he could have scored goals or passed to Neymar better and they would have been still playing, but because he wasn't there and picked, and even during the games substitions were either too late or bad, they lost. So it's not an easy decision, it is quite difficult and stressful for managers too.
487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: December 11, 2022, 08:53:21 PM
Bayern have a bigger problem than losing Mane, Neuer went on holiday after the World Cup and broke his leg skiing, had surgery, and looks that he out for the rest of the season. This is a big problem for Bayern, they are now seriously looking for a replacement for Noeir, for now it will be Ulreich, but they are also considering the return of Nubel, who is now on loan from Monaco. Whoever they choose, Donnaruma or Navas will be at the gates of PSG, you understand what an advantage this is for PSG.
I feel like goalkeeper is not as big of a trouble as Mane, and I know that may not sound great to many people because it's an important position normally, but not for Bayern.

Well, because they already have a good roster enough to not get too many shots on goal for them, and if they could have scored a bit, with Mane then they wouldn't care about getting scored on once a game on average as well. Their goalkeeper could be me, and they could still have some games where they don't get scored on at all. That type of difference is important, an epic level of defence and midfield makes sure they have the ball and attacking. Only problem will be in UCL, and I didn't expected them to beat PSG anyway.
488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest Scam History in the Cryptocurrency on: December 11, 2022, 03:18:02 PM
the only one I covered was the biggest crypto scam, the one with the biggest stolen amount. Because we all know that there are many scams in the crypto world.
When no one could estimate the actual amount involved in every scam of altcoin space, I guess we could never get any clear list on these. I mean since the beginning of ICO kind of crowd funding in altcoin industry, we have been watching lots of projects scamming investors for various reasons. I agree there were projects which got failed for unexpected reasons but there were 90% of projects which were here only to scam and in that case we cannot estimate the actual money involved.

Here the point is not about being huge or small; we need to stay safer in crypto investments and due to this reason I have decided not to risk money in any new projects which on the other side led to miss good opportunities, still I am happy with my bitcoin investments.
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDC is not safe on: December 11, 2022, 02:03:04 PM
In this situation, what can be the best way to store our stable coins  Huh
CASH only!
If you are saving cash means literally you are losing every year approximately 5% of your saving as global average inflation rate for current times is around that. When we are talking about crypto stable coins are not safer to store value, we must need to remember government's cash are practically danger to our saving. If you prefer cash to store your wealth then I guess you may go risking your wealth even with anything as cash got guaranteed depression of 5% whereas most investment things got at least 10% chances for appreciations.

All of these coins USDT, and USDC and even BUSD are not safe. The Algorithmic stable coins like Dai can also lose their peg against the dollar in a crisis situation.
We do not have much options for the need of stable coin hence we need to depend on one of these. USDT is the first and long running hence we may assume it may last forever.
490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: December 10, 2022, 08:39:32 PM
It would make sense to lose a few players, hell even if the big trio didn't play, the rest of the squad would be good enough to fight for a title, they won without Messi many times before, so that is for sure, and Neymar was constantly injured, so Mbappe alone with others can win we have seen that, and I feel like there is a chance they could do that again and without Mbappe too because they have a great roster now.

However, UCL requires all of them healthy, they need to be all 100% healthy, including the big three and everyone else, they need all players to not just be healthy but also play the best football they could possibly play to win UCL, it is a very tough competition.
491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: December 10, 2022, 07:10:53 PM
The friendly games are just to help the coaches assess their team's performance and progress so far and it is not a competition that the fans should whine about a lose. Soon the world cup will be over and every player will be returning back to their clubs to resume the season. Arsenal also had a game against Lyon which ended in a 3 nil win in Arsenal's favour. The boys put up a good show and dominated the game so well.
I agree, it is not right to care too much about friendly matches for this reason. These are the matches where the team does not play with the team it should be, the development of the players is observed and the coaches try something new.
Otherwise, of course, a team like Manchester United would not have lost this match. At the moment, neither team is actually playing as it should, after the world cup is over, every team will form a roster as it should
Another important part is that how many players United has that was in the world cup and how many did Cadiz had? This means that Cadiz probably played with their starting 11, I do not know them very well but that's what I am guessing, whereas United played with players that weren't picked up by world cup because all other good ones were in the world cup.

That is why this game meant nothing, if it ever did then we would have seen all their good players there as well and since they were in the world cup this wasn't even United on their full form. I am guessing that this was more about keeping in shape than anything else and that is why it didn't matter.
492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Types Of Online Casinos To Avoid.. on: December 10, 2022, 04:39:31 PM
A dedicated community is a representation of reputation which is being built over the years. It means you cannot have a community in your beginning days but only by showing honest practice and good support, you may able to build a strong community hence checking for active community must be a basic criteria, we must need to look up before starting a journey with a casino.

I simply follow the casinos which are active on this forum with campaigns and support topics before testing any casino. After months long testing, I do start depositing my funds to bet/play.
The addition to that is the fact that if a place has thousands of people liking it, do you really think that it would be possible if they just scammed people? It means that if they have thousands who like it and not a single proven scam, that means it's good.

It is not just about thousands of people liking a place, it is also about proven that they are not scamming. No casino in the world who scams their customers could possibly have that many people following and enjoying them, it would be impossible. That is why a big follower count matters, and even topics here matters, because in here, we get to see complaints and if there is a proof, we would know about it.
493  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My advice If you are here to make money on: December 10, 2022, 01:59:24 PM
accumulating and holding is more suitable than futures trading at this point, but I like to pay attention to market news, especially Fuds or someone's catastrophic failures in the market. I am also a holder, but I want to accumulate bitcoin at the cheapest and lowest possible price, so I want to take advantage of every opportunity. By following market news, we will avail and save a lot of money because the same amount of money you will buy more bitcoins when the bitcoin price drops.
Holding must be superior than any other trading strategies. Futures may seem like highly profitable one but when you cannot keep your technical part up all the times, a highly profitable one will turn down as a highly losable one. OP sounds like making big profits in futures trading but I am not ready to listen to them even they show verifiable proof for their words.

Coming back to your scenarios, you may not need to bother about news and market sentiments when you are holding for years. Now, we read people are holding for decade and do you think such people still bother FUDs? I mean that your level of profits and level of peace of mind will purely depend on how long you remain as a holder of bitcoins.
494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 09, 2022, 08:34:24 PM
I'm usually against such huge transfers - but Bellingham does look like a complete midfielder and he's only 20 years old.
Bellingham is one of the very young Midfielders in this world cup that has impressed, his value will go up more If England somehow find themselves in the finals. Before England's last game I told a friend how good this young boy was, he said it was just a media hype, the regular hype that English Players get, but beyond doubts, he was convinced after seeing the amount of influence he had for England in that game against Senegal. For me the only other young player that would have had his value go up if his country remained in the competition is Musiala. IMO, Gavi is good, but Musiala and Bellingham are better.
Even if they don't, proven yourself to be a big part of English national team at that age shows that this dude will be an epic player for at least another 10 years. True example of a modern midfield and that is something many teams lack dearly. Even City could get him today, and could put him in the starting 11 today, if the best team in premier league could do that, so can all the other teams.

The problem is that he will cost a lot, and I mean A LOT, like 80+ million at least and teams do not have that kind of money all the time, they can do just 1 of those transfers per year if they are top teams, and usually can't even do one if they are not. So maybe Jude will move during summer, and not now.
495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: December 09, 2022, 05:38:22 PM
If we look at MU lineup,

source: google

They lost important players who competed in the World Cup. So, this might be used by Ten Hag to keep MU players physically fit  for who are not playing in World Cup. this results proven if MU not ready to play with their young, bench and reserves team as starting XI. but, this matches will become a great input for Ten Hag to buy some players on this winter transfer.
Rashford is gone? I did not know that he was injured or anything, I thought he was healthy, if he is ready to play by the time United gets their first game, he will be their striker for sure, they have used him instead of Ronaldo, and put Martial in late game after Rashford was tired and it worked out for them.

In fact, so much so that they literally did this when Ronaldo was there, instead of using him, they used Rashford and Martial later on during games. Aside from that I agree with this lineup, sure use some of the young guys to get them some playing time and give a bit of rest for the older players like Burno Fernandes who we wall know will be in the line up.
496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 08, 2022, 08:33:22 PM
Still a shock to me that we are seeing Utah playing the way they can. I honestly expected them to be the type of team that would start 2-20 and then finish the season with like 20-62 type of results, or 24-58 whatever, like not more than 30 wins at all. By the looks of it they are on the path to do that. Is this good? Or is this actually bad for them?

We cannot know because we think it is possible that they should be losing a lot more and that would be better for them because of draft picks. If they keep winning, they won't have a high draft pick chance and that is not actually that great, it was not really possible for them to get better in the long run this way.
497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 08, 2022, 12:35:04 PM
Inversely proportional to you, namely Brazil vs Netherlands.

I predict that Brazil can overcome Croatia in the quarter-finals although not in an easy effort. Brazil has almost the same quality of players between the first team and the second team, coupled with the return of Neymar to the squad after recovering. What makes me doubt is Argentina, which cannot be said to be easy to win against the Netherlands.

The Netherlands made us more convincing to beat a Tango team who looked to play in grueling conditions when they beat Australia in the round of 16.
Same here I also predict Brazil will qualify even I have placed the bet since yesterday Brazil -0.5/1 https://imgur.com/8A5iUhi
I believe Brazil can beat Croatia in 1x2  while  Netherlands vs Argentina this is not easy and may have to go to penalties
Only the lucky team will go to the next round I don't have any specific predictions for any of them.
That is what everyone thinks, it’s not going to be that difficult to guess what’s going to happen next, it is however difficult to guess it when something unexpected happens. Right from the start of last 16 I had a certain amount of guess what’s going to happen and to be fair aside from Morocco game all the others were just as I expected, so that means sometimes unexpected may happen, and that means 1 out of 8 games happened to be like how I guessed.

This is not a problem, now we have 4 games left, and in those 4 games I am not seeing how it would be possible to have an unexpected result, it would probably be a bit more sure thing to win these bets, well probably.
498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ponzi scheme scammer uses BTC to cover tracks on: December 07, 2022, 06:40:09 PM
Very can and the BTC address will reveal who the perpetrators are behind the Ponzi scheme.
And you are wrong about the difficulty of identifying scammers via BTC addresses, because BTC uses Blockchain recording technology where all transactions will be recorded and cannot be deleted, so that the source of the money and where it ends will be known even if they use the bitcoin mixer platform service.

To prove a Ponzi scheme or report about a fraudulent scheme that is being carried out, it all depends on how many victims report it, and the losses are estimated, so that the government can move quickly to catch the perpetrator of the Ponzi scheme.
There is also mixing though, and we could be losing the sign of them. I mean the simplest one, if there is a small scam, then they could just put their money into binance, with a token or coin they will not use, and just use a dex to turn their btc into any token and so forth. Long story short, it is quite possible to lose all of your tracks if there isn't a big one.

Obviously if it is like 100+ million dollars or whatever, then they won't be able to hide it, because everyone would be joining on the track and investigate where the money is going and that would cause a bit of trouble for them. This is why it's quite important not to be alone when you are scammed.

I guess my strategy to bet on the underdogs are not going to pay off in these final matches. So far these upsets has gained me some good profits, but I think things will change now.

The odds for the remaining matches are not going to be as high as in the qualifying and knockout rounds and the chances for an upset is going to be lower.

My two best money spinners has been Germany and Japan.... but I think France and Brazil is going to go to the end.  Huh
I would guess that underdogs was a bit more of a thing during group games, those were recoverable and that's why. I still think that it will be more favourites game to win from here on out. Argentina will get the win, Brazil will, and Spain will, etc etc.

The real trouble begins when England and France plays, and Spain vs Portugal probably, and Brazil vs Argentina, these are the games to look out for because in those games there are no favourites, both teams could win in those games, until that point we will not have anything that will matter that much. Hopefully it will not be something that bothers your betting and you will end up recovering and winning a lot.
That is right, when we see Brazil vs Argentina and I believe it will be France vs Portugal, those games will be really good games, and England vs France is too, and then the finals, these 4 games are definitely amazingly big games and the finals will have a HUGE betting amount, like the whole world will bet on that for sure, it will be like bigger than super bowl without a doubt.

We keep seeing huge rewards and promotions on super bowl, we should be seeing it for world cup finals as well, there needs to be some sort of boost or like a reward for the people who bet on the right world cup winner, on every single casino, and freebitcoin may have a faucet, but their main income is the casino part.

It was really unlikely that South Korea can do anything to stop Brazil from winning yesterday's game. The difference in quality is simply too big. Yes, South Korea had few chances, but even if they managed to score 3 or 4 goals, I believe that Brazil would have manage to score more. There is nothing South Korea could have done yesterday to win the game.
Indeed, the basic quality of the players of the two countries is very different, almost all Brazilian players have high-level skills and that makes South Korean players very easy to pass. Yesterday I thought Brazil would be able to score 7 goals considering that no one could stop Neymar, Richardlisson and Vinicious Jr.
To be fair South Korea is getting better, but it is a cultural thing and that is the issue, USA is getting better at it literally thanks to culture as well. Think about it this way, if you have a great club that raises kids to be great players that's fine, or if you send them to Europe on great clubs that's fine too but none of that would beat tens even hundreds of thousands of kids playing football on the streets everyday with their friends. That's what you need as a nation to become good, Brazil has that, kids everywhere in Brazil plays football, and that turns out some of them are better than the others and go try their chance at a club, it's about growing with football, not just clubs.
