Can somebody tell me why Shadow would need Ring Signature with ZeroKnowledge proof? There'd be a bloat in the chain, no? I'm confused, especially because they didn't talk about their "how to approach ZK" - I doubt the use Zerocash, I doubt they use Zerocoin, and maybe the coin later depends on decentralized servers relaying the transactions building the system on "fake" anonymity. No coin ever really achieve true anonymity, I really doubt that Shadow, Monero, Anoncoin, Dark and all the others are able to do this. I've been here since 2013 and I only - repeat - ONLY experienced that Coins/Coindevs fuck with people, no matter how holy they might seem, no matter what they have achieved/coded in the past. - Be careful here - Don't go 100% into a Coin, diversify. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I mostly hear positive voices when it comes to anonymous coins, its very strange to me, because mostly every "anonymous" coin is not anonymous, and the many coins that claimed to be anonymous fucked people over. This coin should be the first 100% anonymous in the world. Just wait for the whitepaper and you'll understand how big it is.

Apparently I completely overlooked the new SDC development roadmap... But I made up for it with a new article! Look at the new roadmap here - https://www.reddit.com/r/Shadowcash/Zero-Knowledge anonymity - November 2014 Voice, Video and File support - January 2015 Unique and real developments need a time dec 2014 or jan 2015 i am confused? Look at the new roadmap here - https://www.reddit.com/r/Shadowcash/Voice, Video and File support - January 2015This is more reasonable

better it is not open source for a certain period of time...lets say couple of months
for that period review from someone well known will be enough i am sure
then open source....
+1. We don't need opensource now. Ryno should present open source with a relay a couple of month after every release. Opensource will kill the unique of project

How it could be scam if the dev is working hard for 2 month after IPO ending. LOL. Waiting for the wallet
Just hope it is not another RootCoin I wait it for one month or more and get nothing Root even do not have a website. Lol Tile project has a very dedicated and respectable devs which are keeping us to date. Unique and real project needs a lot of time, look at the shadowcash's success now with a very strong team working for 4 month and you'll understand the secrets of investing. P.S. After the wallet release this coin will be added to bittrex. Main part of coins will flow there and the sell pressure at BTEr will be much less . Whithin the first days of Bittrex trading i'll bet that this coin will break 2000-3000 ksat prices

Sorry, I haven't created a Github page for the wallet yet because I ran into a problem. I discovered that when I enter large transaction values, the transaction values get truncated. It turns out that Javascript only supports about 15 1/2 digits accuracy before it starts truncating. I would expect it to be much larger than that on the 64bit machine that I'm using, but Javascript math is based on a ECMA standard that I think is about 52bits precision for positive floating point and 31 bits precision for positive integers. I made an arbitrary precision math module, which partially solves the problem. I also need to do something about the RPC client. The RPC client, converts the coin value string transmitted over the network to a javascript number. Maybe I'll have to modify that so it doesn't parse the string to a number, but leaves it as a string, which isn't limited. I need to add these numbers up and the math module has a function that adds up character strings representing numbers of any size. So it will be a while before I put up the github page; I need to get this stuff working first.
Thank you for the info. You're doing a lot of work. Just go on and you'll reach the success Best Regards, Cornett

So, I just went through the web page, and read through twenty+ pages of this thread, and can not figure out what sdc is promising in terms of "zk". If you could excuse me for my laziness for not digging deeper, could someone respond to three quick questions?
1. With the beta that is being tested now, are the devs planning on implementing Zerocash, Zerocoin, or something else? 2. If Zerocash, how do you set up the security parameters? This requires trusted third parties. 3. If Zerocoin, how do you set up the security parameters? Do you use RSA UFOs? If so, how where these generated, and what is their bit length?
Thanks.
hi, shadow simply has zk-snarks and ring signatures and has its own built-in which doesnt need 3rd party and has nothing similar to zerocash, etc. A real (not vaporware), working, ZK implementation with ring signatures sdc dev and whitepaper will explain it in details... by the way...welcome on board guys....nice to have new bloods here Thanks for throwing out a clue on how SDC handles the zerocoin initial seeding parameters issue. This is the first and number one question to ask when a coin claims they are the first to implement zerocoin. SDC has done an excellent job with it's website and OP so it's a pity there aren't a couple lines of explanation to address the seeding issue on everyone's mind. There's plenty of discussion on Anoncoin's thread about Gnosis' approach. In contrast, there's no mention of handling the initial seed parameters with Zerovert and the info on this coin is so scant it smells like scam. We have answered it over and over and keep saying "please jump in irc until the white paper is released"! Zerovert have also explained themselves, idk, about 10 times already in a 20 page thread they use rsa modules (still trusted but they have a massive bounty if you crack them) Just as anoncoin wished to use them for a trustless setup (there is no "seed" or trust parameters!. Honestly i don't know where half of you are getting this information and how you're tieing it to Zero Knowledge but its completely seperate. Proposed anon implementations have many tools they can use to try and achieve an efficient, secure anon transaction (zero proofs, commitment schemes, accumulators) I personally will start work on the wiki as soon as i get my hands on rynomsters whitepaper i encourage everyone else to help with the FAQ. Untill then not many people here can tell you completely what is implemented because not many people understand exactly what invisible money is! Hell even the devs heads are spinning! Please try and understand that. No one is hyping it yet, people are just excited because many of us have been here for a long time supporting its growth. The devs are aware of the "education" issue here as we have hammered them for the past 2 months about the problem of people not being educated on the topics. They have chosen to mainly pump out the tech. But they will now start answering your questions because now they actually have put some final touches and refinements onto their tech and can explain it without it changing to much and people who don't understand "nerd raging" and "smelling a rat". I'm sure you can understand sometimes its a double edge sword for them and the stronger supporters. No one is asking you to give anyone money there is no premine and no obligation to buy and support the project. Please take some time to settle in and i'm sure you will catch on fairly quickly. We have said and will say it again, please step into irc until the white paper is released. I believe you may feel more satisfied if you do but if you don't want to thats fine but please be patient and wait on the white paper and dev responses. Please understand, they have been extremely busy the past 4 months to produce so much amazing tech and remain relevant with their many industry firsts. Allowing the long time supporters to celebrate a bit is not unreasonable. 1: Shadows invisible money will be called "Shadow" it is not called "zerocoin" Shadow is not minted in the same fashion as zerocoin. 2: There is no zerocoin implementation here, it is not zerocoin at all! 3: Shadow uses ZK= Zero Knowledge proofs that do not require a seed or a trusted setup parameter. 4: There is no accumulator, accumulator moduli (rsa UFO) there is ring signatures which create a zero knowledge proof. (no need for a trusted setup parameter) +1. My respect to You

>>>> Progress update <<<<Hello everyone... Checking in to give you all an update on ZeroTrust.
This week we started some internal testing between a couple of us, utilising some of the existing resources to make sure the ZeroTrust functionality works as expected. While for the most part we had success, the testing did show up some issues, more focused around how the wallets interact while on the (FibreDark) Tor network, which we will go back and re-work into the solution. But this week has seen some major steps forward in the technology we're using.
Keep an eye out for the Ninja, you never know where he is hiding ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)
Wow. This is awesome ! ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

I said yes right, that 28 BTC 19000 revoke.
Do not know is to continue to fall or rise
Just don't care about the price. It doesn't matter whether the price is 15 ksat or 25ksat now, the price will fluctuate. Look into the future What do you see in the future? I see that Shadow cash will become the main currency of the dark web and it will be used widely by all. SDC now is the powerful dark horse and its technologies on the top notch, it will become DRK 2.0 when the main crypto capital will flow to shadow. It's obviously, you can mark my words. P.S. I am the DRK holder and i already see how the people's DRK capital starts to flow gradually in SDC. As for me drk's holder this is sad but true. But the shadow team is too professional and the technologies so strong and superior, that i see the winner of this race in the future. P.P.S. And I am very glad to see that the SDC project has not been bought by the proposed mergers from XC and DRK. The best quote is: " A few of our members made references to early Facebook buyout offers by older more established companies like Google and Microsoft. Facebook developers and investors had faith in their platform and saw it one day succeeding the older more established ones. Our community feels the same way about Shadow." I stand on the shadow side. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fpbs.twimg.com%2Fmedia%2FB0q1-N0CIAAHQXP.jpg%3Alarge&t=663&c=Bft_tpsnwHWlNQ)

Heya folks, I just wanted to check in with you like I said I would give my best attempt to in between coding. There's a few things to address just for the benefit of those unfamiliar with how the markets work and what might appear to be - that's actually not. If you've noticed as of late the BTC price has risen quite a bit. With the rise of price in BTC, typically alts suffer in the wake of people selling out to gain more fiat via BTC. Couple that with the holiday season approaching, and BTC ceilings higher than they've been in some time - people that aren't really in it to support Neos are going to sell. Like I've said many times before, that's their prerogative and I don't hold it against them. If people can make a profit with Neos, fantastic. =) With that being said, I've been a bit quiet because in the middle of coding other improvements and so forth, new ideas came to mind. For those of you who code, you know that's the most awesome feeling ever and one of the best parts of the process of coding something. Those ideas spawned follow-up ideas and more forethought on how to make them even better which with some planning and pseudo-code lead me to basically rewriting a lot of the core functionality of Neos. This is for the better and only to accommodate these new features. When i release them, hopefully it'll be clear as to why. However, once I do release them there will be an explanation alongside the release which will shed more light on the extra code. Needless to say, I'm really happy with the progress coming along and what's to come. We're still trying to smooth out rough edges on the multipool and bring forward the best possible info/profitability to miners that we can. Speaking of multipools, it's come to my attention that thepool.pw has included Neos in their rotation and they basically sell people multipools for their coins for buy support. In finding this out I reached out to them and respectfully requested that we were removed but they declined. So basically we have a good handful of multipools including Neos in their mine-and-dump cycle so you'll see some of that on the markets. We're doing our best to combat this with our own multipool ( http://mp.neoscoin.com - yes I know it's really rough). Honestly, we can't stop people from doing that we can only try to do our best to support our creation. I would hazard a guess that within the next few weeks you'll see some announcements from me here and there or updates - but my main focus right now is on what's coming for Neos 2.0.2. If anyone has any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I can be found here, Twitter (@NeosCoin), on our forum ( http://forum.neoscoin.com) and IRC (irc.freenode.net #neoscoin). Best regards, syntaks Good work. Thank you for the information Syntaks Best regards, Cornett
