481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is your strategy on dice sites? on: April 06, 2015, 07:22:10 PM
I have been using a different strategy lately. Its sort of similar to martingale but very different. I did a simulation of dice by betting at 93%, and the maximum losses I have ever got in a row at 8, with 8 being only once and mostly 7. So I have been running a bot by betting 0 satoshi or lowest amount, and wait for such a streak. And after 7 losses, I bet around 1 BTC at the odds.

I know it sounds like gamblers fallacy, but since the maximum losses in a row have been 7 or 8, I don't mind risking it on the stats I have got before. I started about a week back and have made the bet of 1 BTC 3 times till now. So its been going good till now.

This method takes too long and they would be instances when you would lose more than 15 times in a row.
Your capital would still be wiped out.

I doubt I have ever heard of 15 losses at 90%. Max I have heard is 7. But casinos won't allow him to make bets fast like Twipple said, and it would be a very slow thing.
482  Other / Meta / Re: Sales threads in Betting section is annoying- rant on: April 05, 2015, 12:03:23 PM
Your post is itself posted in the wrong section. Your post is related to moderation of the section and not to gambling(the current section). Move it to meta so that you can get some attention.

Also you cannot ban/give negative trust to people for creating sales threads, thats just like taking away the right of free speech from a man.

LoL  Grin , I just saw that bitcointalk mod/staff gave a negative feedback to one of the posters and they deserve it, I really think they cant ask money upfront from people in this betting section  Cool

Seems you are wrong on understanding why that negative trust was given. The user zaradoz, like some others in the past seems to be claiming to have a sure shot way of profitting in a gamble, which no matter what is always -EV. And Since its actually impossible(might work for short time), it was a case of misleading and false advertising. That is why he was given a negative trust. He wasn't given a negative trust for posting in the wrong section.
483  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best payment option for selling BTC on: April 05, 2015, 11:58:48 AM
You can just trade for direct cash or Bank transfer through an exchange. You can also sell it for Webmoney funds. But if in the end, you need cash, you will have to do a cash trade or bank transfer.
484  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: No collateral!!! on: April 05, 2015, 08:10:29 AM
you can pretty much calculate the allowed loan based on their rank, anyway. the chance of a Hero member defaulting a 0.1 loan are pretty slim. unless they drop dead

but if you want to feel 120% safe, then use escrow

Even with that sometimes a Hero Member account may be trading with couple of other people and pulling a large one by scamming for a larger amount . That loan amount might not only be the amount he might be requesting.
485  Economy / Gambling / Re: What percent of internet Bitcoin poker is Luck vs Skill? on: April 05, 2015, 07:59:54 AM
It is impossible to give a number to this. Each street matters in poker and luck factor changes on each street. A Skilled player will always get it in with the odds favoring him. Luck only determines your starting hand, and the streets that open up. The play in between is skill and there isn't a way to give a number to it.
And Internet bitcoin poker is no different than normal poker.
486  Economy / Digital goods / Re: All Ponzi Scripts, Casino Scripts, Bitcoin exchange Scripts / Instant download ! on: April 04, 2015, 04:27:44 PM
Do these scripts also come with installation instructions ?
I am not interesting in the scripts, but just interested in learning how to install one.
487  Economy / Gambling / Re: Prediction Program-Software for Sports Betting on: April 04, 2015, 04:22:21 PM
Its almost very hard to be able to program such a software, even if someone did , I am sure they wouldn't be giving out free links (which scammers do) .
488  Economy / Gambling / Re: bitcoincasinolasvegas.com | New Site | Bitcoin Winner on: April 04, 2015, 12:22:01 PM
The site name is confusing. Before launching be sure to fix all those little bugs in your site so people will be amazed on their first visit on your site

Unfortunately its another one of those Primedice or dice site script which is a clone from a lot of other similar sites. Most of the sites which run the same script are buggy and are really not worth playing on.
489  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Just got scammed $130 usd by "balouch123"-- details below on: April 03, 2015, 07:16:46 PM
Offered to sell me one-half bitcoin for $130 from paypal friends and family, which, of course, cannot be questioned after it is done.  I stupidly agreed (my fault).

Sent email saying to send it to him at fdsatyur@gmail.com (Ellen Loaster according to paypal) which I did.  He quickly sent me a response and said he was refunding me my money because he had given the wrong address.  He gave me a new address of albartshahen09@yahoo.com (sakril albat according to paypal) and I sent the money.

The first email was used/mentioned by another scammer on bitcointalk right here  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1003119.msg10889520#msg10889520

And he is already with negative trust.

This is also him: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=433990
490  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: So confused on: April 02, 2015, 10:03:57 PM
I reside in the USA (NY state) and I would like to buy and sell Bitcoins. After reading the news I came to the conclusion that Bitcoins can lead one to jail... USA requests individuals to have a money transmitter license to perform trades.

Am I able to buy and sell Bitcoins for profit without a money transmitter license? If so what is the daily limits to how much I can buy and sell?

I am not a 100% sure what the daily limits are ,  but if you try and stay below 1000 USD on a daily basis, then you should not be requiring the license. Otherwise, they can make a case on money laundering. And do pay your taxes .
491  Economy / Gambling / Re: [ANN] Multiplayer bomberman clone on: April 02, 2015, 09:52:19 PM
I think the game itself should work very well as long as Bots are not there. But I get a lot of lags, its not moving in a smooth motion and is rather blinking while moving. Might be good if you can take an already built flash game, and perhaps play with the coding to have it integrated.

EDIT: The smoothness was fixed, and runs good now. However the player is able to  come out of the boundary and also able to move on the blue background part for me. Looks like a bug there.
492  Economy / Gambling / Re: What sources do you use for sports research and statistics? on: April 02, 2015, 09:49:51 PM
I usually just use Flashscore . I find all the games I bet on there itself. However it doesn't have Esports, so for that I usually just visit some other sites(which are only exclusive to Esports)
493  Economy / Gambling / Re: Freeroll vs GTD tournaments on: April 02, 2015, 07:58:41 PM
I know Freerolls and GTD tournaments are two different type of poker tournaments  Wink, but which one do you prefer?
Freerolls, low prizes and high number of participants or GTD tournaments with high prizes and lower number of participants?

Well , GTD aren't always with low number of participants. Its just a guarantee by the casinos that they will give out this particular amount in prize money irrespective of how many register. But most of the times, its more than the prize money amount that gets registered.

Both are different, freerolls is free money and GTD with less participants is more inviting to play.
494  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2 week target $160 on: April 01, 2015, 03:09:17 PM
Ok, jokes are over.

Analyzing the charts and order books today i noticed how we will fall straight down to $160 if we break $230.
Chances are around 93% that we break $230 within the upcoming 2 week period.

This will be the start of the crash I've been talking about! Fasten your seat belts for the drop of your or get out while you can!

Predicting the price based on order books isn't the best way. Orders come in after the price starts falling .Before that, its empty most of the times.
495  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: DOUBLE/MULTIPLY BITCOINS on: March 31, 2015, 04:02:08 PM
where can I double\multiply bitcoins?

Go in this section : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=56.0

And go n Investor-based Games but be aware, you invest on your own risk and every site will run away there , they are all ponzi's , it;s just about your judgement and timing , though i would recommend not to use them and just learn and earn

I would suggest staying away from ponzis. 90% of them have been scams , so instead of doubling there is a higher probability you will lose everything.
Just use some of the skills you have to earn, or if you wish to take the risk and gamble, just do that.
496  Economy / Gambling / Re: SwCpoker.eu | No Banking, Only Bitcoin | Bitcoin Poker 2.0 LIVE NOW! on: March 31, 2015, 03:02:13 PM
Site down??

Site is working fine for me. I saw this on there "Down for maintenance
The recent crashes and bugs are unacceptable to us. We have taken games offline for a projected 24-48 hours to make fixes and come back as a better SwC for all. Withdrawals and deposits remain live."  So I am guessing client might be down.
497  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling sites that allow investing on: March 31, 2015, 02:26:10 PM
I would suggest just sticking with Just Dice. They accept Clams, which is an alt coin, and now the price is more or less stable at 0.005 BTC. And the owner has been trustworthy before as well. If you go with other sites then don't invest a high amount.
498  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: pagalwana - Alt of superSTAR777 on: March 30, 2015, 10:48:53 AM
I am not really sure why he made this account but temp_superstar777 is another alt of him.

Besides the name being the same, he posted 1KeXEqj7GHFSxyZgDdE9HhnGRdmCkUPM82 here which is a known address of his.

I think it's because he took out a loan with irfan_pak10, and has his account in collateral with him, so he can't post from his main account.

The account temp_superstar777 was created before he took the loan. Also looking at the modlog, it seems ID 486882 has been banned, probably because of the ban evasion . The original account superstar777 mentions in the signature that he will be using the temp until the main account is banned.
499  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is Bitino a scam and not paying? on: March 30, 2015, 10:45:15 AM
Ok so I basically lost my bitcoins eh ?  Huh

Maybe. But I don't understand why would you deposit and play in a casino which has almost zero online presence and does not even look legit.
Why not just go and play on some reputable casino ?
500  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing on gambling websites on: March 29, 2015, 07:01:59 PM

There are two types of investing though , one is crowdfunding like just-dice example , the other is private investment like primedice. The latter is better.

Actually it maybe not. With the former stats are much more transparent. With the latter you will have to trust the site owner to make right use of your funds and believe what they say. Specially with respect to bitcoin the former is also better because in the latter incase the owner decides to shut down, he might not even return your coins and you will be left alone to complain. Whereas in crowdfunded some people together can take the legal action. ANyways, I doubt there are any private funding opportunities you will be able to find, and legit ones.
