Hey dev......what's the plan to update the wallet bud?  It is VERY VERY aggravating trying to send coins out of it, problem seems to be pretty constant but intermittent with the amounts, the other day i could send no more than 10 coins at a time, spent over an hours sending the coins I needed..........HUGE waste of time!!!!
In the short term would suggest the android and web wallet.  They don't seem to have the same limits.

Have you tried what I suggested previously?
Kill any mining software.
Mine in wallet at max speed.
Does this improve anything?

To fix the transaction limits would require a hard fork, and a fair amount of development work.

Let me know if the above helps at all?

Yeah man, I apologize but I could have swore I told you either via PM or one of the forums that it made no difference so sorry if I did in fact not report that back to you......I honestly cannot remember for sure bud!  The amounts and limitations seem VERY odd in this wallet as if it is not a hard coded limit as the amounts are VERY staggered.  The other day for example out of nowhere I was able to send 50k with no problems......while GPU mining and a ton of stuff running on my PC.  Most of the time it limits to 1k for ONE transaction, then keeps going down from there with every send.

While I appreciate there are other options bud, I do NOT like web or mobile wallets.....I just don't trust em and they don't offer the same security!  At some point, this issue with the main wallet NEEDS to be fixed brother or we will lose many supporters after immense frustration of not feeling in control with their own coins!
I think this is a hangover of being such an early miner unfortunately.  I don't believe "new" wallets are affected this way as the number of incoming transactions equated to a large number of coins, whereas you have a large number of incoming transactions equating to a small number of coins (due to the 0.025 block reward)
This is a known issue with some QT wallets, to quote The Prof

"It's a design flaw in QT wallets. It basically has to collect enough of the incoming transactions to create the outgoing one. Seeing as you, myself and I'm sure a few others were mining the lowest blocks the count is high. To get to 500 when the transactions were way less than 1 creates a large count. "
"on another PC loaded another wallet and made 2 transfers of 25 k."

If anyone else is experiencing this, I would be interested to hear from you when you started mining.

Thanks, and sorry for the headache Jim.

Hi thanks for taking the time to post and get involved with MonetaryUnit.

Please like our FaceBook page www.FaceBook.com/MonetaryUnit for a 300 MUE reward
and follow us on Twitter www.Twitter.com/MonetaryUnit for a 100 MUE reward.

We do have rewards for various things, and these are slowly building, and I do agree with you, there is more that can be done.

Would you like to take any of these tasks forward and have a MUE budget to do it?  Let me know.
I guess that offer is also open to anyone else.  If you want to carry out any marketing activities for MUE, let me know, or show me what you have done and we can work out a MUE reward.  The pre-mine is there to be used, not dumped onto exchanges Smiley

The Windows wallet is not compatible with XP unfortunately Sad

Hi,i am from Polamd
i discovered Mue thanks cryptex giveaway, thank you ,now i am buying more and more

I have small suggestion,i think could be great if mue could be trade on polo and C-Cex
here you can read about C-cex future http://bitcoinmafia.com/exchanges/big-coming-ccex-cryptocurrency-exchange/

About giveawvays, lets offer coins for task ,like voting for c-cex for examlpe, etc, tweeting to exchanges

Thatis enough to create that kind of task giveaway on Bitcoin Garden community http://bitcoingarden.tk/forum/

you can do that by yourself or ask for that, forum admin secco, and he will take care
and post also your ann there, members of bitcoin garden forum are mostly experienced in altcoins,so i think thay will rather hold, than sell for few sat

coinis good and community very nice,so the needsis to grow community and have som ekind of marketing

And one question,do i really have chance to mine with succes directly from wallet with my xp,and low hash
Regards
P

Sometimes Digital Ocean also give a $10 credit if you're account is new..so..
potentially you could try mining MUE for FREE for 2 months! (It doesn't always work, but it might!)
Anyway...give it a try Smiley
Hi guys!
How to partecipate to this lottery?
Need to registering somewhere?
Thank you very much.
Hi, to be part of the draw all we ask is that you mine MonetaryUnit on one of the pools.
Our ANN is here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=778322.0

If you don't have mining hardware available, or not switched on 24/7,
you can simply get a cheap (5$/month) cloud-VPS, and install a miner there.
Here is my manual how to get the cloud-VPS:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=460178.msg7169529#msg7169529

Then, for the MUE miner,
I made the installation super-easy, with my install-scripts:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=778322.msg9304714#msg9304714
"QuarkMining on cloud-VPS and on RaspberryPi"

You can host many more things on that VPS.
e.g. a MUE wallet. It's also a good way to learn a bit of linux.

Thanks. Will add hash rate of the winners in future.
I suppose it's quite interesting to know.
Nice results! THX Cheesy

Assuming they were the same rate that they still are on the mining pool then
1st - 7mh
2nd - 2mh
3rd - 70kh

I thought it was better to offer 3 prizes to hopefully have a better spread of hash rate...in fact 3rd place had the most significant reward based on hash rate, which is good Smiley

Nice!
Maybe it is possible that you tell us the avg. hashrate for Top 3?  Huh Would be cool...  Grin

Hi guys!

Thank you very much.
Hi, to be part of the draw all we ask is that you mine MonetaryUnit on one of the pools.
Our ANN is here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=778322.0
Thank you me!
How many times i need to mine to partecipate?
Hours?
Days?
Thanks again!
Hi, I've updated the OP with a few more details.
No minimum hash rate required.  This makes ALL miners equal in the eyes of the Lottery.
No requirement to mine permanently, though your chances are reduced if you don't.

We just want to make mining more fun again Smiley
