481  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exchanges WITHOUT KYC? on: May 01, 2020, 07:17:24 AM
Let me share my opinion regarding KYC. I prefer trading on exchanges which ask for mandatory KYC. I think it's for our safe and, that is the most important point, those exchanges have a chance to stay live longer. Remember that Binance asks for KYC.
Even Binance exchange are requiring KYC I feel my identity will be safe there because that is most trusted exchange for me..
KYC is not benefits to the user of the crypto because we are not have freedome to hide our identity to tean of exchange or investment sites. But it depends to you if you agree on KYC it's good and follow it but for me I do not any choices to follow it but I don't like it.

Its not actually safe if you just think about the possiblity that the Chinese government can access these data. I'm just taling possibilities not that its confirmed but quite possible.  I'm moving to decentralize exchanges because its just not good because while adoption is gradually occuring, our data are being collected everyday. Its enought for me to trade in the low volume DEX as long as I can escape that chain.
482  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is day trading is good in crypto market? on: April 30, 2020, 11:29:25 AM

Prices are climbing up, if you know when to get in and exit your trade each day, you should be able to earn a lot in day trading. It's easy to trade when the prices of coins are moving up than when prices are diving.

Please be reminded that day trading is not always the winning part here. Probably, it is more risky and hard to predict since we are looking for a daily profits, it is  not easy to always get daily wins too. If you are good in a technical and fundamental side with also good risk management plan, then we can have that profitable daily trading.

I prefer long term and margin trading for now. Somehow, it gives me my target profits and much better to manage it than that of daily trading.

Its possible to do it in low time frame maybe 5-15 minute chart, it just needs a little timing.  Right entry point and you can exit anytime as long as you can earn some, the perfect exit is almost impossible.
483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fantastic Advertising System on The Chain on: April 29, 2020, 05:31:54 AM
Is there any requirement in order to make a VAD in VDS wallet?
A UTXO of at least 100 Vollar in VDS wallet. Basic, Multisignature, and VID addresses can all make bids and broadcast advertisements, while anonymous addresses cannot.

I consider myself a slightly above average crypto user (I have my own wallet, I always spend inputs/UTXO individually and never use same address, always different change address) but even this I have to say makes it quite confusing for the normal crypto user. I cannot see it getting easily adopted, if it is not simplified.

Hard to imagine how things had worked for them but it seems are. I don't wanna go deeper since what I just want to find out is how the advertising works in their system. I find it too risky to install as they only have windows and android app, something to compile for a linux machine might just be a better option. I can't find it.

484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is breaking the law and will be sued by Craig Wright on: April 29, 2020, 04:55:43 AM

He is already rich. What else does he want? He could be paid to do all these actually. But this will again go down to conspiracy theories again and we're all sick of it.
The one thing that is always going to happen is that he just can't promote his BSV without lifting BTC price up so he has to tell something negative about BTC.

485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason behind ALTCOINS not bouncing Back on: April 28, 2020, 09:09:13 AM
In this past fews days altcoins has been steadily doing well, most especially ETH which has been gaining since March and other major Atlcoins are following like chainlink, tezos, xrp. And might still see some surge in bitcoin price especially its halving is just 16 days away from happening.

Right, ALT/BTC obviously still rely on bitcoin's price movement so alt season might start when bitcoin will have its bull run after the halving in the next two week. Although we have seen bitcoin's price going steady to $8k and so Ethereum goes or at least closer to $200 and so is the rest of the alt coins. Some of them are like -90% from its all time high, but as soon as the bull run started, they might cut it like -60% and then the rest of 2021 and beyond are going to be exciting again.

It could be just a bulltrap though, the halving is still weeks later, everybody expects the price to go up, they have been setting this semi type of bullish market but eventually, they will sell all for they know lockdown could last longer. I wouldn't buy yet until I can see the chart dipping again to close to the bottom. It's my loss if it doesn't happen though. The volume of som altcoin is getting huge though, these are just to few coins.
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto success takes time on: April 28, 2020, 07:28:01 AM

Its always going to need time but while trading is going on, you may wanna try trading because tokens need to be in the rightful owner who really believes in the project. If you see the project does have good volume, it would mean the project does have good community support that you might consider holding for a long time.
487  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why not decentralized exchange..? on: April 28, 2020, 06:50:04 AM
Rather, it all comes down to the issue of risks.
Risks are there in both. Both can get hacked. CEX is more prone to extort your KYC at one time. DEX is more prone to shutting down and exit scamming. Which path do you want to take? Rather a local CEX of your country which follow legal bindings - give them your KYC and use it at ease with local currency than getting your money in limbo with no authorities to report it to?

Quote
If it is likely that deposits will be equal to 50% for each, many of them must pay a deposit even a small amount.
There is no discrepancy of deposits on either of CEX or DEX, individual sites may vary but I dont think any of the exchanges have any deposit fee as caution money or so. Did I miss out on your point?

Quote
However, now everyone believes that the probability of breaking into large exchanges is less than 1%.
You mean getting hacked? This probability is always there and the only way to prevent it is to stop using the exchanges which is practically not possible. What is practically possible to not store coins on exchanges for long duration.

DEX shutting down isn't much of a risk if traders will b using the noncustodial wallets, all the tokens stay in the wallet, the problem with DEX is the liquidity pool. But they are up to fast-forward the development of stablecoins and pool, the working DEX in TRX and EOS are almost competing already like what we had in the early days of BTC.

Some risks are in the 3rd party wallets for example the browser extensions like the metamasks or the EOS and tron browser wallets, they could be compromised upon downloading.
488  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Forex question on: April 27, 2020, 03:57:37 PM
how much do forex prices change in a day, percentagewise ?

It varies to which the currency is paired. Currency prices don't fluctuate a lot in FOREX since this is a regulated market. Don't expect that a drop of USD means few cents but the prices there has 4 decimals which only these 4 digitals are moving faster every day. The pips are less than a cent but using leverage will greatly impact your loss and profits.

Profits or loss don't mean a percentage-wise drop or spikes of prices.
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEOs from binance not worth holding ? on: April 27, 2020, 03:39:58 PM
The Cartesi IEO price was 0.015 USD for the IEO investor it still profits a more than x2 profit. I guess it is still worth it, Most of the projects there are above IEO price it never hit lower than the IEO price. I guess the safest platform to invest now is binance but try in your own risk the market is volatile we don't know what will happen but think on things to minimize those risks.

I never thought the team priced their token that low during their IEO, today the price still is 0.04USD. Didn't the team short-sell themselves when developing their product?

Investors will really be dumping it when the price spikes up to $0.08, it's no wonder that investors who bought at 0.04SUD will really be frustrated.
490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEOs from binance not worth holding ? on: April 27, 2020, 08:06:42 AM

The game is you have to be the first to dump when its finally listed in the market. If you have invested in Cartesi from the time beginning of it then you could be following their updates on their accounts to learn what is going on.  Early investors are the first to dump for they can buy the tokens again when the price dip. You keep watching the market because this is a good project and chances is that it will bounce up right again
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading bounty projects and none trading bounty projects on: April 26, 2020, 04:01:47 PM

It was the time where yobit is doing a campaign in the forum and most of the users who joined the altcoins campaign are joining yobit as well. Many of the bounty hunters also do not trust campaigns paying tokens already due to the number of scams happening in the altcoin section. From a not paying bounty hunters to scam teams.  I have noticed Cartesi and I could have joined if I weren't just in the Yobit campaign.
492  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading psychology on: April 26, 2020, 02:07:46 PM
The psychological aspect of trading is extremely important. Traders often have to think fast and make quick decisions, darting in and out of stocks on short notice. To accomplish this, they need a certain presence of mind. They also, by extension, need discipline, so they will stick with previously established trading plans and know when to book profits and losses. Emotions simply can't get in the way.

Understanding Fear
When traders get bad news about a certain stock or the general market, it's not uncommon to get scared. They may overreact and feel compelled to liquidate their holdingsand go to cash or to refrain from taking any risks. If they do that, they may avoid certain losses, but they also may miss out on gains

This is not the case in the cryptocurrency market, the only bad news around here is if the team turned out to be a scam. Before you can even realize the yare scam they already have made all the dumps and exit.

This is why if you have to trade, do it in BTC/USDT you wouldn't have to worry about a certain stock because you are in the right market. Altcoins I think are for people who can wait to find out.
493  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exchanges WITHOUT KYC? on: April 26, 2020, 09:50:22 AM

If you are to join an exchange without KYC, just the ones that offers no login credits like the EIDOS hybrid exchange where you only need wallet login. Non-custodial are pretty much what you need. There are already projects like these but are not very supported by many of us because we concentrate to BTC alone. Try the ones in the newer platforms like EOS and TRON. Check this out https://oikos.cash

495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Who knows about Wombat wallet? on: April 22, 2020, 01:31:03 PM
I didn't get to know how to buy CPU, NET and RAM from the wallet. They give away free CPU, EOS and RAM but too little to let you trade.

You can borrow CPU/Net/Ram by using the Rex option from Bloks.io. In the time of writing this, anyone can borrow 6,329.2920 EOS for 30 days by spending only 1 EOS. But it's only can be used for the Dapps , not for the airdrops of eidos who was clogging Eos to make transections. . This is one kind of renting EOS for CPU/Net/RAM .

Thanks I will try that soon. I'm planning to try some dapps on EOS but will not use my main scatter wallet for safety. I'm going to try investing some token like BG in newdex it seems like the token is huge on this exchange.

I'm not aware of the clogging issues due to the discontent to the BP. Do they mean they can use EIDOS instead of getting CPU by staking EOS?
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] - IQ Cash - Cryptocurrency (IQ) for Traders, Investors and Miners on: April 22, 2020, 11:15:19 AM
I noticed that this project stole a lot of attention..  I am curious, whether this project is working with the Flits wallet application! because I see IQ Cash has entered the list.  I hope this will be one of the best projects in 2020..  I keep an eye on your project  Wink
yes, of course that will be our hope here, because clearly all are very rapidly developing when they hold a bounty program, many new people are coming into the IQ CASH project, and my position is currently storing some IQ coins, and I want to see if as said can reach $ 0.3, let's look together

Of course, we should always aim for the coin to increase its price, but now the value of the coin seems to be very low, but with the bounty program, it is impossible for the coin to increase its price because nowadays the coin price is based on the activity by their technical team and firstly they need to follow their roadmap development.

It's just recently listed to many exchanges. Bitforex has a good volume of this project in which the coin is paired with USDT and BTC unlike in some market which it's only paired with BTC. I guess percentage and miners are earning in participating in the ecosystem and the anonymity it provides to its users that makes the project interesting. So we'll have to find it out later if things continue to look good.

I have noticed that there is sudden interest on this project because of their bounty programs. And since their price is improving in the exchanges, do you think it is not a decoy or any of that sort? Will the intended application for this coin really have a long lasting impact to traders/investors or miners? One more question here - are there any merchants accepting IQ Cash right now?

I can't tell about being a decoy. You must have noticed some coins lately that were doing campaigns were also spiking but after the promotions, they were dumped hard to -90%.  The merchant information is not found on their website, no merchants so far. It wouldn't be surprising if the price will increase if there are merchants.
497  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best pumping community out there? on: April 21, 2020, 08:33:56 AM

They don't call it pumping group these days, they now hide in the form of signal provider in telegram channels. You're not going to earn from them like the users above telling you, they're just tricking users. But if you wanna experience it, try going to hitbtc and yobit's chatbox, they are there pumping unknown coins in that exchange.
498  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why not decentralized exchange..? on: April 21, 2020, 07:46:36 AM
In my opinion, many posts have already been written on the topic of decentralized exchanges, most of which are devoted to the problems that are currently present in this environment.
As you know, the biggest of the problems with this type of exchange is the problem with liquidity, as well as speed.

Of course, I understand that such exchanges are the safest, but the difficulty lies in the fact that the user must not be mistaken when choosing a site so as not to get to the phishing link of the clone site.

Due to the fact that detailed exchanges can ask for private keys or a wallet connection separately, all this increases the complexity of interacting with the DEX exchange for ordinary users who do not want additional and time-consuming to understand all the intricacies of the system.

Hard to learn when you are used to centralized. P2P just isn't the kind of market for some especially if you have to buy CPU and RAM.
I'm starting to like some decentralized exchanges after finding some tokens that have potentials, its just the liquidity that makes it less attractive.

The expectation that collateralized stablecoins will improve that liquidity in decentralized exchanges is high but there is just more controversy going on in Defi.
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which technology worked in crypto? on: April 20, 2020, 03:14:19 PM

They have to make it appear like they have the most sophisticated project and experienced developers to impress investors. It's going to be unfortunate for them because investors today are becoming sophisticated after a series of scams since the ICO days. Those times will never come back as long as there are more scam busters in the forum. They can only operate and scam people outside Bitcointalk.
500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ripple Ready for its Annual Rally? on: April 20, 2020, 02:09:46 PM

$10! Way to go!

There are traders who regularly dump XRP every time ripple has some articles about it.  I can't remember if there is an annual rally of XRP.  It's true that it maintained its spot on 3rd position for as long as it could, the only reason why there is a rally of altcoins including XRP is when BTC goes up too. Halving probably will help its rally.
