481  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance withdrawal fees are too high, what do I do? on: December 21, 2023, 09:41:31 AM
Binance has a Binance pool which is equal to about 6.35% of the total mining power. In addition, they do batch transactions. In addition, their transactions contain one income and therefore cheaper fees. However, they ask for 0.0008 BTC as a withdrawal fee. This is good profits for them and pushes investors to keep their Bitcoin in Platforms.

If the option to withdraw to the Lightning Network is available, use it with a wallet such as Muun Wallet
482  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How diverse is your crypto portfolio? on: December 21, 2023, 09:29:47 AM
Diversification of investment means that your investment is divided into assets that are not related to each other, so that if the first collapses, the second rises, and the result is always growth in the investment portfolio, even if not rapid growth, but at least reducing the possibility of loss.

You cannot diversify your investments by buying more altcoins, all altcoins are influenced by Bitcoin and only stablecoins, pump dumps coins doesn’t follow this model. You can trade in altcoins, but purchasing them is not considered a diversification of your investment.
483  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You lose more when you over trade on: December 21, 2023, 09:14:34 AM
YouTube channels created the idea that you can make a full-time living from trading, and that trading has become a  full time job where you wake up in the morning, make 10 successful trades, and make $5 to $50 in each successful trade. And so you repeat it every day until you become rich, which, if it happens, means that you have an amount of big amounts or it is something that rarely happens and is not even available to everyone, so trading requires patience  in the long term until you see some results achieved.
484  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I bought Vistomail.com Domain WOW! on: December 21, 2023, 08:58:51 AM
I will respond from satoshi@vistomail.com but I am not Satoshi Nakamoto.

How will this help you track Satoshi's identity? If we assume that there is still data for Satoshi, then most likely he encrypted the messages using PGP cryptographics and the IP addresses are to Tor servers.

Considering your previous behavior on this topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5068888, please everyone be careful when dealing with this account, as this may be a scam.
485  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is purchase of amazon gift cards legal and legit? on: December 21, 2023, 08:49:49 AM
It is legal if you buy it from a legal provider. Some hackers can sell stolen, hacked or illegally obtained cards, so it is better to buy it from Bitrefill or ask the buyer to have physical cards and take a photo of them, as it is difficult to forge these cards.
Physical Gift Cards are legal but don't expect to get them at a good discount.
486  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New crypto stealer: Rhadamanthys Stealer malware on: December 21, 2023, 08:25:43 AM
I feel that this news and the names of viruses come from the developers of antivirus systems, as they work as an indirect promotion for these services. In the end, there are many names and, most importantly, access permissions. This virus cannot access the seeds, and the best thing it collects about you is your personal data for the purposes of social attacks or copies of your Clipboard.

there is nothing new here, and the advice is as it is: do not click on random links and do not download applications that have not been reviewed by thousands of developers.
487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Slow Bitcoin transaction, will it be a major issue in the future? on: December 21, 2023, 07:58:09 AM
Statistics have it that the world population of those that own Bitcoin is 2.74%
Don't believe everything you read online. That would make it over 200 million people, which is 4 times more than the number of funded Bitcoin addresses.
I assume that these reports are from the numbers of accounts in CEXs, but one person can have more than one account, and there is no trusted party to verify these numbers, especially since some platforms manipulate the numbers. We cannot know the total number of Bitcoin users.
488  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Bitcoin mining’s comeback in China on: December 21, 2023, 07:39:40 AM
I find that these articles are more to attract clicks than to be something real.
"Analysts from the research institute Stone Center on Socio-Economic Inequality found that 91% of officials convicted of corruption within 10 years after Xi Jinping took office as Chairman of the People's Republic of China (2013) were among the 1%. richest people in China.
I don't like speculation, but I prefer numbers.
This is an infographic for the distribution of 16 mining pools. If we take the facts that Bitcoin mining is banned in China, we will find that mining from unknown pools represents about 1.3% and therefore still does not constitute a large percentage of mining pools. The percentage was greater than 30% in the past.

If we say that what is meant by mining is solo mining, I do not think that the citizen will risk that because of the noise generated by these devices and the consumption of electricity, and if that were the case, the percentage would still be low.
489  Economy / Services / Re: Crypto Arbitrage Opportunity on: December 21, 2023, 07:14:56 AM
I agree! We run an OTC desk & we know how we do it as we are a Market Maker & handle both fiat and crypto for businesses & high net worth individuals. We source some the coins locally at good rates to supply our customers so the local currency goes back to the supplier!
Managing an OTC desk means that you have access to resources exceeding $100,000 on average with a company that has a number of legal and marketing consultants. Therefore, it is strange that you introduce yourselves in this way on the forum. There are ANN and ways to introduce the forum that are better than the method above. I thought you were at the beginning of implementation. The idea, but it seems that everything is ready and you are promoting it.

We are strategic on how we handle the business.
If this is true, then you have presented yourself incorrectly here. Ask the marketing team for more professional work.
490  Economy / Exchanges / Re: PSA: Vulnerability found in OKX iOS app on: December 20, 2023, 03:35:24 AM
🚨 Attention! We urge users of OKX wallets to update their iOS app to the latest version immediately. Earlier this month, we identified and reported a critical Remote Code Execution (RCE)  vulnerability in the OKX iOS App,  leading to potential compromise of sensitive data and crypto assets. The OKX team responded swiftly and issued an updated version today.

I did not find any details regarding the potential compromise of sensitive data and crypto assets. Does this mean that the application’s permissions to access personal files and Keyboard are sent to an external server? Is this related to the application’s data or is it able to access the private key of other wallets on the device?
491  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Bitcoin mining’s comeback in China on: December 20, 2023, 03:24:01 AM
I find that these articles are more to attract clicks than to be something real. There is still a ban in China and without a legal regulation, so all speculation is of no use. Regardless of the reason for China’s ban on mining, Bitcoin mining on farms needs legal approval because of the ease of discovering these farms, and individual mining need space and risk, especially since I believe that the laws in China are strictly implemented.
492  Economy / Economics / Re: Are fast-fashion shopping apps hurting local economy? on: December 20, 2023, 02:46:22 AM
1) One of the things that makes me prefer paying in cash and from a local store is that paying with cash is more painless than using banking services, so having to count $200 to buy something from a store is more painful than paying with a card.

This research study describes that cash payment represents a stronger tool for self-regulation, these findings could be relevant to those interested in regulating compulsive shopping or digital gambling. So I advise you to read it.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6856651/

digital services give you alternatives such as discounts, free delivery, or buy now and pay later, all of this to push you not to buy with cash and enhance your remorse.

2) The ability to pack many purchases: In the store, when you buy one or two products, you feel that this is enough and that the shopping bags have become heavy and that I must stop spending, but when you buy a number, this feeling is less. On the contrary, you will try to fill the shopping cart due to the presence of discounts.
493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Slow Bitcoin transaction, will it be a major issue in the future? on: December 20, 2023, 02:29:39 AM
increase in fees can be tolerated as long as it is temporary because they will simply postpone important transactions for a week or two and will get cheaper fees, but if the fees continue to rise for several weeks or months, it will force people to look for alternatives. Both centralized exchanges and miners benefit from the high fees, and I fear that this will make the problem of high fees continuous rather than intermittent.

During the past three months, there have been two times in which fees were high before they returned to being acceptable. This is the longest one and I hope it will end quickly.
494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin ok in Viet Nam? on: December 20, 2023, 01:58:25 AM
Do not take legal information from here. The answers above are not from vitamins, and if they are, you need to ask them about the source of the legal data. A Google search may give misleading results, so you need to ask a lawyer specialized in financial affairs before you make a purchase, or in the best case scenario, do it P2P is in a public place and in small amounts.
495  Economy / Reputation / Re: First week on BTT on: December 20, 2023, 01:45:08 AM
How is this total number of logins being calculated?
Congratulations, but Total time logged in can be easily manipulated by opening your account in multiple browsers and requesting pages periodically either using a browser-level automation tool like iMacros or using a bot.
You are making many clicks here  Wink, I'm 6 months older than you and my time is 11 days.
496  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Calculating Profit or Loss on: December 20, 2023, 01:30:51 AM
Instead of trying to formulate each equation individually, I suggest you download a template with all the details you need and then use it directly to get a result like:

You can find the detailed explanation here https://www.coingecko.com/learn/crypto-portfolio-tracker-google-sheets
Then you can search for open source codes on github that enable you to perform several tasks by downloading a simple template in a more professional manner.
497  Economy / Economics / Re: Used cars and real estate market very volatile and a lot people will fomo in on: December 19, 2023, 04:13:07 AM
If the used car market reacts to interest rate variables, it should flourish when interest rates are high, as people will tend to buy used cars instead of paying $30,000+ for a new car, so it is illogical for it to react positively to interest rates.
Real estate is linked to mortgages and interest rates, and we will see positive movement starting in 2025 if the current conditions continue.
498  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Dappradar.cash is scam copy of dappradar.com on: December 19, 2023, 03:47:59 AM
It is a phishing copy and according to the site being registered by NameSilo, send a message to the support team with a link to the original site and this scammer will be closed. I have already reported it.
I don't know how you got this domain the day after it was created, but be careful with any site that asks you to link your wallet.
499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Someone paid $450K for three (extremely) pixelated cartoon characters on: December 19, 2023, 03:40:01 AM
With an announcement like this, I expect this transaction to be subject to tax. If it is, it will reduce the possibility of scam by purchasing from a friend, but it does not negate the possibility of money laundering occurring (although I rule it out because of the hype that occurs behind such matters and the existence of better ways to launder money).

If there is a fool who buys several Super-Mario-Style Mushroom Characters for $500,000, do not buy them for $5, otherwise you will be like that fool, but on a lower level.

It's just a way to get people used to paying higher fees, whether it's miners, altcoins, or people who don't like the increased adoption of Bitcoin.
