481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling winnings should NOT be taxed on: June 18, 2024, 12:36:31 PM
Yes I feel the same way as you at times OP, but the
truth is that gambling casinos sites and companies do have to pay taxes because they are operating under commissions that is being approved the government.

That is to say the government has an access in scrutinizing the legitimacy of the company and understands that it an investment potentials of providing incomes to the gambling company owners and then gives them legal licence of establishment.

Where I feel upset is the taxations on gamblers who are not even sure of their winning or even to say they have made profit at a certain winning because your winning in the casino today may not really imply that you have made profit hence we looses more than winning.
We can also imagine the law damaging gamblers to pay taxes just on gaming for fun.

But while these taxes are being demanded, I think the regions where it is exercised would produce more of matured gamblers who are disciplined to their incomes and expenses.
482  Economy / Speculation / Out of prides, investors endangers themselves. on: June 18, 2024, 10:50:47 AM
Have you experienced where someone went an extra mile just to prove himself right because he doubted?

While we all thrives on our Bitcoin investments regarding its  lucrativeness, we actually wish that our loved ones can find the opportunity feasible and also invest on it just as we do.
For some cautious reasons, we do not want to discuss about it with them but we still wish they cou embrace the system in one way or another.

Out of two friends I introduced into the Bitcoin during the halving, one successfully Invested and the other one did not. In a few week ago we experienced over $71K in Bitcoin market price, the newly Investor friend of mine approached the other one who did not invest expressing how lucrative Bitcoin investment is.
The guy was still in doubt saying it is all fallacies that the guy is just trying to convince him.
So in other for this newly invested friend to prove the legitimate and lucrativeness of Bitcoin, he opened his Crypto wallet for the doubted guy in explaining how he bought Bitcoin when it was $65 and now it is $71K yet further increase is being expected.

So the doubted guy wowed over it that his friend has such amount of money?

Just by past weekend this doubted guy came asking if am I aware that the other of his friend has a lot of money in his Bitcoin wallet? And I ask how he knew about it then he explained in details.
I was surprised and felt disappointed of my newly Investors friend because I could wonder further people that doubted guy would tell about the guys funds in his wallet he can linger to danger that even if this doubted guy does not have evil thoughts on him, others being aware of it could be.

I think this my newly investor friend was out of pride and just wanted to make this other guy feel regret but does not know the dangerous implications he has just made upon himself and his Bitcoin assets.
It is unfortunate for investors who lives this life of proving themselves to people just to make them believe on their investment.
483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What if you have a casino? on: June 17, 2024, 03:43:53 PM
Having the experience of gamblers gambling in your own casino site or shop is always exciting just as traders having customers coming to Patronize them.

The psychological thoughts out of it is always the wish for more gamblers to come and how you can enhance your casino features to retain those gamblers after the casino owner learning that the equality services by which the casinos renders determines the desires of the gamblers.
So, it is always competitive amongst casino owners to always give the best offers.

484  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why you want to rank up in the forum? on: June 17, 2024, 11:46:34 AM
OP your aspiration should be an almost same goal of everyone who are craving to rank up. Perhaps there had been multiple newbies whom had curiously been complaining on how they do not receive merits on their posts even when they are doing there best.

So stay quite long in the forum and contributing to your best when merits is not flowing to rank you to the next level and you have attained a long margin of post actually feels like.... You think you are doing things at your best but it all feels rubbish.

It actually feels discouraging and most especially when you see your mayes ranking and you are just stagnant. So it is kinda challenging and mentally draining when you have been here for long and activities like signature campaigns would be opened for a specific rank but you can not participate simply because your rank is not up to it.

So, we all want to rank up so that we can not be restricted from the forums activities by which some are attractively rewarded by either by honorary recognitions or some sort of leadership positions in the forum.
485  Economy / Economics / Re: Moneyflow towards the Dollar on: June 17, 2024, 11:23:48 AM
Brics is taken as a instrument like the Euro. But its not.
It becomes clearer that it is a political instrument not supported by capital investors.
After Covid the US drew more than a third of investments towards the US. Especially private investment which is the engine that makes our world economy run that nicely.  Even if you hate the US, the US is the engine of the world. There is no alternative.

To an extend, the COVID happened to be stipulated program to crumble the economy in a global factorization while the US as the world power had already made an hedge abscond the disasterous economy outbreak.
So obviously the US government intentionally launched that program after covering its economy systems up while other countries economy suffers COVID outcome with the crumbling of the economy.

I think it was as cause of the US feared about economy growths of some countries with the Influential approach to overtake them. That is as a global economy conflict which the US government resisted while other countries were victimized.

However, the US government should not feel so unwavery because the effects economy system of China and India is quite potential to outstand the US economy.
This US government with our without being watchful will be toppled because it is not an ordained that they would stay I power til infinity. This would be by revolution or evolution
486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set a specific bankroll before gambling or not? on: June 16, 2024, 08:05:19 PM
"Bankroll" is usually a term used in sports betting. From what I've read in some of the threads here, we need to be disciplined in managing our bankroll, typically betting only 5% to 10% per wager. So I'm curious: do bettors here really set up a bankroll first before they start gambling, or do they just gamble whenever they have available money?

Please share your experience whether positive or negative and what you learn from it.
Do you you mean to monitor forum users gambling bankroll or you want to get the best gambling bankroll from users experience I just wonder what your curiosity is about. Lol.

Okay let us keep it going, we consider gambling budgets based on our bankrolls and our incomes to draft responsible gambling so it it does not after our financial personality.

I do not think if there is a specific % of income that should be stipulated for gambling. That is basically depended on individuals. Some persons can decide to budget 1-4 % while others could be 5% and above so the lyrics is that.... Gambling responsibly so that it does not affect your bankroll.
487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your gambling life could affect your relatives lifes. on: June 16, 2024, 03:08:51 PM
I have come across Local gamblers who are addicted to gambling and had ruined their selves by themselves til they ran bankrupt yet they borrows money to gamble at all means even While being indebted.
Theses sets of gamblers doesn't have remorse nor conscience about their gambling lifestyles instead their friends and relatives are the ones who bears the shameful consequences the addicted gambler brought to their circle of relationships.
At the virtue of getting the unbearable situations to an end, the relatives broadcasts the chronic addicted gambler at all costs of gambling boards never to give him privileges to gamble in any of the Gambling arenas anymore else they (the relatives) would sue the gambling boards owner.
This is just how recklessness could mess your life of you can't take control to gamble responsibly.

Take note and be aware that your way of gambling could affect your relationships and the circle of your relatives.

There are always going to be a small amount of people who take any passion to the extreme and it comes back to a lack of self control really. Unfortunately the only person that can change their bad situation is the gambler themselves, which often involves a very painful exercise of letting go of all prior losses and accepting that they will never get that money back. This often only comes when they have exhausted all other avenues of raising money and realize that it's all been a waste for a short term buzz. Sadly many people can get hooked on gambling because they find it an outlet for other stresses and pressures in life, so it may be a period of readjusting as they confront multiple problems.

Yes self-control will always be a preventive solution in gambling, there is nothing other than self-control because gambling has elements that can make someone addicted, and yes it is true as you said that only they themselves can save themselves from bad impacts or all possibilities undesirable bad, meaning this is what makes addiction a disease that is difficult to overcome because the disease is in the person's own mind which is caused because their interest in gambling is very high, and in some cases when we try to make them aware but often they claiming that we are someone who interferes too much in their affairs.

So it's difficult to help them and in my opinion it's just a matter of time, in the sense that it's very likely that they will only be able to get out of their addiction phase when they have experienced significant negative impacts that make them feel traumatized or that make their lives very miserable, and perhaps this incident can make them realize that their perspective and mindset towards gambling is very wrong
Yeah, and the ability of self-control over gambling habits is  the gamblers awareness that ignorant to self-control can jeopardize ones reputations then, the agility to take control of oneself is developed.

Right mined gambling addicts considers the effects of their relationships with others and then take it a challenge to fight it out otherwise the careless ones would always stay adamant fully loaded of irresponsibilities and does not care about the effects of their loved once.
488  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Always verify if an exchange do still have NGN P2P feature before sending funds on: June 16, 2024, 11:35:29 AM
Which crypto exchanges remove naira from P2P recently that makes you come up with this thread? All the exchanges that are having crypto/naira P2P that I know are still having it aside the ones that we have discussed about in the past and which Kucoin was the last that we discussed about after Binance and OKX. Recently, among the exchanges that still have naira P2P, none of them removed naira from their P2P and Nigerians are trading there. Or what did you mean as scrapped?
No one has been according to your question and I came up with the thread because beginners who came or that may come ahead of time without the knowledge that lot of Centralized exchange has delisted naira P2P feature from their platforms can be victim to this.

Also as much even some of investors whom have been into the industry for times now without having comprehensive details of the affected exchanges can also be victims in believing that the only exchange being affected is the ones to their notice.
So it should be regarded not effortlessly to always have that accessible before proceeding to fund a centralized exchange for P2P trading.

Moreover, our selfish governments never cares about how such action or immediate effect of cutting naira off from the exchange could affect its citizens in as much they don't let us know that such action would be carried in a specific people of time.  I mean we are never notified before such removal of naira on the P2Ps. Although it has formally been but now has become a norms that we can just wake up one morning and find out comfort exchange being affected.

So, the surveillance seems necessary at all course to avoid "Had I Know".
489  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Always verify if an exchange do still have NGN P2P feature before sending funds on: June 16, 2024, 06:59:03 AM
Before sending funds to trade on your centralized exchange, always check at immediate time If the exchange still allows NGN (#) P2P because the way naira is been scrapped off from the P2P feature is overwhelming.

Ignorant to do this verification before sending funds  from your self-custodial wallets to the exchange wallets will always cost you excess expenses on transaction fees from an exchange to another before you could realize yourself and call it mistakes.
490  Economy / Economics / Re: The government cares for no one but waits for you to get rich for taxes paying. on: June 15, 2024, 01:59:41 PM
Governments and the wealth that controls them don't really want you to become rich.  For the system to work most citizens need to remain in either the government dependent category (welfare) or in the wage / salary category where you shoulder the largest percentage of the cumulative tax burden.  There is a reason public education systems do not teach financial responsibility and society, corporations, and media instead push the traps of debt and consumerism upon the populace.
I do not think that "they do not want you to get rich" is the right thing to say here, they just don't want general public to have a decent life, but they do not care about the individual. If you personally end up building a business and become a billionaire one day, they are not going to stand on your way, but if you want to make the minimum wage in the USA 20 dollars, they are going to do all they can to try and stop you, that's the most important part.

That is why there is a difference between "they do not want you to get rich" and "they do not want us to get rich", if you say one, then it's like they hate you personally, if you say the other it's mostly about them wanting more money and power at that moment and not really personal.
Well, I like your synonym but though they both conveys the same point rather, you made it been clear that the government is not just against one citizen but every citizens.

Without being doubted, the government do not want us to get rich but want the riches all by themselves so, whoever of us that gets riched without weighing on the wages and salaries but on investment and tradings strickly on personal entrepreneurship are like being taking the government unaware.

So before the government could realize your drift, you have already established your richness as an individual so, all they could do is to start extorting from you by taxations.
491  Other / Off-topic / Re: The real winning of gambling is withdrawals on: June 15, 2024, 10:52:38 AM
Although that is strictly on the concept of when you are gambling for fun while the profit chasers are the ones who only accounts winning on their cashing out and giving account to what they utilizes the money on.
If you don't only rate your winnings based on the cashout, how do you think it should be calculated? Let's say I deposited $10 into my betting account.

From my first few games, I was able to turn that $10 into $100 or more, which is already on the profit side, but due to greed and overconfidence that I can still win more if I place a bet with a higher wager amount, I continued betting, and I ended up losing both the $90 profit and the $10 initial deposit to the casino. Should that be considered winning, or what will you call it?
In this case, the question should be... While gambling in the first place, what is your target or aim? This is in-between gambling for fun and gambling to make profit.

There is always this argument after gaming that.... Yes lost the best but then, I won at some points before loosing loosing it all  back.

It is understood that there is no profit count out of it but the records of your winning before lossing them back feels some fun at discussion. That is why I say you can account winning without profit if you are specific to gamble for fun.
492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Parents on childs savings bank accounts are waste of time if not saving on BTC on: June 15, 2024, 09:16:34 AM
Not all parents understand about bitcoin, they are more likely to be afraid because the value that can fluctuate at any time is what parents want, especially lower middle class people have no experience with any investment, so the way they choose is to save money in the bank or make deposits with the APY they know.

That's a safe way for parents to save assets for their children even if they ignore the rising inflation.

Whereas we, the easy generation, understand enough about bitcoin to choose this path instead of saving money in the bank because we have learned a lot about bitcoin the meaning of financial freedom.
Bitcoin will be much better for children's funds for future education or pension funds prepared from now on.

Parents must not only understand about bitcoin, or saving, or investing in general, but they must educate their kids about finances as well. What is the point of running a child savings account, if the kid withdraws and spends all of them when he turns 18. Also parents must be very confident in banks. For example my grandmother during Soviet times was saving money on "passbook" for many years, and with time redenomination has happened and 1000 turned into 1. Banks can go bankrupt. People must be very cautions with savings.

To be fair, banks could fail and our savings could become worthless if inflation gets too high in the future. But bitcoin is not safer because there is also no guarantee that bitcoin can exist by then and people will still need it. It can be said that everything has risks and anything can happen whether it is banking or bitcoin.

I am married with children and am also thinking of using bitcoin as an alternative to banks to save for my children. But I realize everything has risk so I think diversification is the best thing instead of just using bitcoin or banks. No one forbids us to diversify our assets, why do we stubbornly choose just one of them?
Well said and I am so thrilled that you are at the virtue of storing saving for the future of your kids in Bitcoin and I hope you would always find it appreciable in as much Bitcoin still exists while you hold on for their savings on a long term goal until they grows and decides what to do with the fund on further planning for their future by themselves.

Actually it could be risky having just one source for savings or storage of values but if we can digress on this, we are most interested on the resource reputations and their potentials so, having saving funds for your kids in the bank could lead to devaluation via economy inflation even without that, it can not multiply for increments while Bitcoin fo have its down of volatility which the funds value is reciprocating to but considering the profitability potentials of Bitcoin, there is no possibilities to count lost as long you engaged on a long term savings for your kids as that.

Hence, it does not just seem a savings for your kids but has become an investment because it could provide profits.
493  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Preparedness is better than prediction on: June 14, 2024, 11:25:25 AM
Exactly preparing for the next bear is the most important thing right now since many people have missed out the last year and early this year bear market to accumulate more Bitcoin to their portfolios. Procrastination is very dangerous in one life because something you can do at the moment, many people have the money to buy but they were afraid to buy while some wanted to invest but there was no money for them to invest. But I still believe it is not too late, because the price will still go up well well so if anyone want to buy and hodle, let them do now so that when the price goes up to the ATH then you sell it off and take your profit.
It is very necessary to always plan ahead of time and not being on distress in order to meet up when a profitable opportunity liket that comes. It is just unfortunate that there are still people who are opportuned to invest but being under procrastinations with false and irrelevant excuses while there are people who are willing to invest but does not have the money to buy and hodl.

Indeed it is a good time to buy and keep accumulating now because there would be sorts of regrets amongst those procrastinators when they would witness to see those courageous Investors cashing out hugely during the Bitcoin at ATH.
494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino/gambling center near an institution of learning? on: June 14, 2024, 08:54:17 AM
It all depends on the maturity of the students on how they can handle their gambling emotions.

Gambling not just for fun neither just to make profits but also believing that with logical and critical mindsets to solve issues in a mathematical theory, it could inspire such concentrated individuals to be more intellectual effective with an encouragement ability to keep trying until they get it right.

Like I said, this basic is not only pointed at making profits otherwise the persistence to "I must win" could ruin the scholars learning obligations.
495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Parents on childs savings bank accounts are waste of time if not saving on BTC on: June 14, 2024, 08:24:50 AM
Actually, most parents do invest their money instead of save it in banks.

But, they choose the safe investment that the gain can't hedge against school and medical inflation, usually a country has 4% inflation rate, but the school and medical inflation rate are around 10%-15%.

These parents choose to invest their money in time deposit (5% APY), ETFs (7% APY), gold (8%) or stock (depend on the stock). The thing is, most stock didn't bring a good amount return for long term, moreover these parents mostly choose investment that can't hedge against inflation, that's why the poor stay poor.

That's what I was thinking, if the parents have a minimum of financial knowledge they will invest the money in one way or another. In countries like the US there are types of accounts for that, like 529 plans. Although I prefer to have the money myself, increase my net worth and if necessary I will be able to help them. But I think it is more important to teach them how to fish than to give them the fish. Spoiling them may end up with them spending their money on drugs and the like.
If am not being on the wrong track, having financial knowledges involves financial disciplines, utilizations and initiatives on diversifications of incomes.
So, good financial acknowledged parents like that would always norture their kids to grow encompassing on good finical knowledge like that.

For parent to teach their kids how to fish and not just giving them the fish is about taking them around the source of their incomes so that they can always emulate from them.
So we can just imagine if parents having a childs savings bank accounts for the kids as the thread details and then the kids grows up with the initiated ideal of Investing on bitcoin. Guess it would be a prominent channel of finance knowledge.
496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does prediction in sport work for you? on: June 13, 2024, 09:52:37 PM
If you are interested in gambling on sports, do you rely on prediction betting sites? Why?
What is the most prominent site you rely on?
I usually rely on prediction sites before, but as time goes on I observed that most prediction I do myself gives me more wining than the one predicted on prediction sites, so I prefer my prediction most times than a random prediction on the internet. I believe those games predicted by expert as claimed are still thesame match people watch friqeuntly. and you may have a better prediction than them since football I open to everyone. Sometimes I also play games predicted by my friends that often win gamble.
I have also been like that. Relying on prediction sites would always make you to stake with higher wager because you will so much be assured by those claimed prediction experts that the game is a sure winning.
I just wonder about their excuses when the game is finally a failed prediction and yet they are still paraded in convincing you more to believe them.

Literally as a gamer, loosing on self predicted games are more emotionally acceptable than the looses in prediction sites which game you a very high expectation of winning m
497  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where is the bullrun??? on: June 13, 2024, 03:33:31 PM
I have to confess that I don't understand too much about criptos, but during an important time I have studied about reading charts and I can't see a reason for believe that BTC will explode in short-term.
Most definitely Bitcoin is a volatile digital currency flexibly to fluctuating.

OP, you do not have to be convinced by the market chart. Just go and study and do your research about what Bitcoin is all about including its utilities and valuabilities.
However, be let known that the liquidation of Bitcoin states that it is not so highily volatile like the Altcoins which can rise overnight and still falls over the period of time.
So, Bitcoin is literally not a program to skyrocket in a quick event if not, it has event processes before it surges to be explosion.

I would like to know: What makes you think that will happen a bull run now? It is  a true need to learn about it.
Bitcoin has a bull-run event and it is been expected to occur unpredictably but it is sure to come at every four years intervals after several events like the bear, dip and halving events has passed. The bull-run is believed to come but too early to expect it yet.

Actually the bull-run is a high market Bitcoin event which is triggered based on market sentiments and some technical derivations.
498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Understand Math? on: June 13, 2024, 01:08:49 PM
Maths involves critical mindsets which is about problem solving and equal to the tax of equality and inequality.
So, applying mathematical terms on decision making in gambling can never be underrated.

In sport bets, the ideals of comparing teams capacities and their playing formations evolves around the logic of calculations which is maths.
499  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Payment remains unconfirmed even though I've received the product on: June 13, 2024, 11:53:11 AM
It is just uneasy to be predicted since you said you have waited for over 48 hours and still not confirmed.
Maybe since it stated low transaction fee then is assumed to either a case of incorrect transaction as a system error or a jam of network congestion.

But I wonder how you have got to receive the product being paid for when transaction has not been confirmed.
Don't you think your vendor may have received the payment? Possibly network error may have been holding your confirmation while it has gone successfully.
500  Other / Off-topic / Re: The real winning of gambling is withdrawals on: June 12, 2024, 07:58:48 PM
To my own perspective, I would say that winning is not only when you cashes out your winning, it could be on the sequence of winning and the casino is taking it back.

Although that is strictly on the concept of when you are gambling for fun while the profit chasers are the ones who only accounts winning on their cashing out and giving account to what they utilizes the money on.
