Dogecoin is a pure manipulative coin, it has no real value at all, no technology or real assets or something. But some whales use it to move the market, DOGE is being pumped periodically.

Shitcoin... this is a very subjective concept, you know Usually it means really weak coin in your opinion or even pure scam. It's up to you, you are defining this. I don't think coinmarketcap top-100 contains any shitcoins.

Nobody really cares about the savings in case of sudden death, people are living this moment and trying to be positive And this question was very actual in 2017, not now, when everything is too dumped. Hope this will change in 2020...

I think you should treat this like hobby. Do what you' like to do. Both trading and bounty are profitable enough if you are a professional here. But to become a professional you should love this job.

I believe USDT is the safest option here, at least it's the most popular and thus most stable if you compare it with other stable coins. But I don't think you should treat like a safe way to store your fiat money.

Sometimes I see rules for staring "good" ICO and one of all paragraph - deanon of creators. But exist countries, in which crypticurrency has been banned and creators have a chance go to jail to 5+ years (examle, Ukraine (if project have a anonymous coin transfer/stablecoins)). If I dont write about myself, I am a scammer (thinked users of bitcointalk). If I write - Im will a convict. What to do?
I advise you to use the solution that smart guys are using - find some people from other countries who will be your project faces There is a big market where you can find such services - this idea is as old as the world

DEX is a very good thing in crypto, I hope they will succeed one day. Definitely this won't happen without a good a long bull run. Now the volumes there are pathetic

Those projects that have some real product and strong motivated team with good and strict development plan. The hardest thing here for the teams is working without money

Altcoin season will come after a good strong bitcoin rally, this can barely happen before. So until we see some good movement on BTC, there is no point in discussing this.

Definitely mass adoption is increasing and yes, 10 years ago the situation was much worse. But if we compare this year with 2017 - I am not sure the result will be the same

Well, everything is possible I wouldn't deny such scenarios. But I don't remember these cases in my practice. Usually I quit the coin and don't come back. If this is not ethereum or bitcoin of course

Ripple, Stellar Lumens, Dogecoin also. These coins are being pumped very high from time to time. The strategy is just to catch their bottoms and don't be too greedy when the time comes

I believe that every good lesson starts with a good story and on this note, I want to tell you about the experience I had that made me cautious of "Get rich quick" schemes online especially those pertaining to Cryptocurrencies.
I discovered Bitcoin in early 2013 and although I didn't take it seriously at first, I was earning little money from it doing tasks online (pay for view, faucets and such), I took it more as a hobby and never intended on selling the bitcoin, I just knew in my heart that it would do great so I wanted to accumulate as much as possible without having to spend my money buying it (this was before I got into mining), fast forward to 2015 when the money doubling schemes were everywhere, I kept seeing adverts online and even though I knew better, I decided to invest in one of them (Avabitcoin) with the coins I got from my early days of discovering bitcoin, Avabitcoin was a platform where you invest bitcoin and they supposedly invest it and return profits to you on a daily basis, I decided to take the risk and invested for the first day, got back my money plus 12% profit, and greed overtook me and I did kept doing it for 2 more weeks before they vanished with my funds. I kept going all in even when I had already doubled my money.
If you want to avoid getting scammed online, you just have to follow the following: Greed: Greed has led a lot of people straight to rekt, like my story above would have told you, I couldn't resist the pull of greed even when I had doubled my funds.
HYIPs: When it looks too good to be true, then it's probably too good to be true, when you see any investments that promise high yield returns, please stay far away from them, when you see genuine projects that offers returns, most of their returns are so low, some of them are average of 10% per annum and it's a wonder that we see platforms offering 10% and above in a day and we gladly jump straight into rekt, like I said, if it sounds too good to be true, then it's too good to be true.
FOMO: If not for the hype that Avabitcoin generated, I would not have invested in it in 2015, learn how to DYOR and avoid what others have to say about projects they seem to support, infact your mindset should be that everybody is trying to rip you off so if you always look at every hyped project with that mindset, you would have a clearer picture of the project without the blindfold of FOMO.
Rushing: Avoid rushing into any investment because you heard it's paying others, one of the virtues of a Cryptocurrency investor is patience, Cryptocurrency investments are high risk investments and you have to treat it like gambling, never invest more than you can afford to lose, never go all in on any project no matter how good it looks.
If you have any similar experience, please kindly share it, it might help others (especially the newbies to avoid being scammed by shady projects out there.
I would add strict investing plan presence here as well. You should know clearly where you enter the market and when you will quit, what conditions will cause you to act somehow. And this plan shouldn't be changed constantly while you are watching the graphs.

People don't want to think, they want to earn money fast Crypto is quite new in investing sphere and it's pretty hard to investigate the projects ideas and plans here. And there are many newbies here also, they did't try anything else.

There had come many ICOs in 2017 and a good number of STOs in 2018 and many IEOs in 2019 but hardly a few have made it to 'relatively better than others' list. I wonder why haven't there come potential coins like ether. The only project that looked promising to me this year was bittorrent which was lauched on binance launchpad. But even that is not going so well these days.
Is the world out of ideas or solutions?
Crypto market is out of bull trend - that's the point All this situation makes it's clear that ideas worth nothing here. News and technical analysis - same, by the way. Whales rule the market.

Sometimes you can't predict what project is a scam or just will fail due to other reasons. You can just try avoiding obvious scams and filter weak projects - that's the only chance to decrease the volume of your time/money losses.
|

Main scam presence reason is people's greed of course, that's true Not only investor's greed, but also ICO admin's one, heh The other reason is lack of regulation and proper laws in this sphere, that's the other big factor.

I prefer investing in top-50 coinmarketcap coins and avoid ICO/IEO risks. Too weak market we are seeing now leads to huge risks and this causes too many people to lose money constantly...

Every altcoin team has a very difficult time period now. Even such a giant like ethereum feels this pain and that situation is not their fault by the way. It's quite hard to survive this bear market when everybody is on panic.

The market for Altcoins has been bad recently, and many Altcoins have died and lost a lot of money. What kind of Altcoins do you think will die?thanks for sharing
You'd better ask about the altcoins that will survive The list of potentially dead coins would be too long, heh I think 99% of all altcoins we see now will die in the nearest 2 years.
