I'm oy excited when I'm still making predictions and checking statistics and form if clubs or players, but when the losing comes, break down of feelings although short but it nor fun to lose.

Interesting topic OP just wish people would be honest about this and not lie to themselves that they are gambling for fun or any other of those random reasons.
482  Other / Off-topic / Re: Know when to stop on: March 10, 2024, 08:15:25 AM
One of the most important factor of a successful gambler is to know when to stop, most gamblers expecially the addictive type don't even know what is stop when it comes to gambling. So it's very important to;
* Stop when your losing is now getting to you.

* Stop when you are now feeling as is you can't do without gambling.

* Stop when you have a big winning, by channeling the money somewhere else so you won't lose it back to gambling.

* Stop when you are not even winning at all, it's not your thing.

* When your losing is weighing you down, stop and restrategize .

Timing is an important potential factory in whatever thing we are doing in life, too much of anything they say is bad , spending much time on gambling can lead making unprepared decisions, gambling is just a game that you needed to be in control of and manage the time being spent, too much of time spending in gambling can also lead to addiction which is of course a bad habit. If gambling seems to be affecting your life negatively you should call it a quiet.

Of course, we have to be very clever at managing our time when gambling. If the time comes and we have to stop, it's best to just stop and start again at another time. Yes, it's not just managing money that is needed, but we also have to be able to manage when to stop and when to play. If we cannot control these two things then we can become addicted to gambling and if we become addicted to gambling then getting out of it is not an easy thing, it takes a long process to restore our control so we can become better again.
Your quite right except those times when your losing and you just want to re over some loses and you get stuck there, it's quite difficult to stop at those times, so what I do is just set a specific amount amount I'm willing to lose for that day, if I win more fine , if I lose all also fine at least I'm not over doing it.

I've been around a lot of gamblers and you would find them in all their types according to what they say and do, and there there several arguments and views that they have on different issues, and I'd like to hear your on them too.

👉 how do you view women gambling in your area: I've never seen a woman standing in any bet store before gambling, but I've been on many WhatsApp channels that you would see a lot of girls that are present asking for bookies and predictions on sports match to play at home. Do you see them as pretenders or just trying to hide their image?

👉how do you view notorious gamblers: I've been around some bet shop and have seen people watse more than a months salary on virtual or very huge amounts and woudl be sweating out of lose and have no choice but to chase their loses and end up losing even more. Do you view this persons as irresponsible to their family and themselves? Or do you pity them as victims of gambling habit as it can happen to even the most righteous person?

👉how do you really feel when you lose money on gambling?  Do you feel bad or just lie to yourself that's it was for fun?

👉how do you spend your gambling wins: I know a lot of persons that woudl say gambling wins is for enjoyment and would use to to buy cloths or shoes or may go out to have fun. And you also like this? Or do you use you gambling wins for other issues?

Let's have fun keep those honest replies coming, nothing to lie about, if you feel shy about the reply then just go for the options that you are okay with 😊😇😇
Here where I live there are not too many female gamblers but looking at how they gamble I don't think it problem because it is everyone decision and also each person right, regardless of gender I think that everything is the same.
If think women are bad when it comes to gambling then that is also not logical thought because aren't we just as fond of gambling, it would be very unfair to think women gamble is bad even though we ourselves are gamblers.

Hahaha they are famous and have lot of money, the only point of view is admiration for those who dare to risk large amounts of money and are like someone who doesn't care about risks.
But whatever they do is based on ability and they will definitely be able to make more consistent money to meet their living needs and those of their families, they will have decent background and of course problems will be very rare.

In the past, might have often thought about trying to recover and not being able to accept defeat, but now thinking like that is useless because what happens will only result in much bigger losses.
Accepting defeat and using the money can afford to lose can be much better because after defeat we can still accept it and really consider everything just payment to be able to have fun.
But I sure there are still very few gamblers who have thoughts like this.

To have fun and do more useful things so that you can get much more guaranteed results such as investing, this is one way I use my winnings.
But everything also depends on how many wins get, if it just small win, maybe it just return for betting capital again at another time.

I like your view on this matter,

Female gamblers also have the right to gamble and should be view equally as men without disdain but when I see a notorious one that is addicted I won't lie I often get irritated although never meet one just assuming they would be with the way women are gambling these days.

Yeah the idea of gambling for fun is a big lie and just an excuse to cover up for the pain of loses or the addiction that comes with it and you can't have fun in pain, so if you feel bad about your loses them your not having any fun, but random speculation is a ghign I do for fun, just interesting when it plays out fine.

👉how do you really feel when you lose money on gambling?  Do you feel bad or just lie to yourself that's it was for fun?

It's interesting to talk about this, because so many people say gambling is just for fun, including me, I also say the same thing. but I wonder when you ask whether this is really just having fun or are we just covering up our annoyance by saying this is just for fun?

I tried to remember the past when I was new to gambling. At first I also thought that gambling could be used as an activity to earn additional income, at first everything went fine. But after I kept losing and I won't say I wasn't annoyed, I was very angry at that time because the thing I expected to make money actually made me lose money. then before it was too late I realized that what I was doing was wrong, because there is no way to win at gambling other than luck.

After that I no longer thought of it as something that could give me money, I was calmer when I thought like that. So the conclusion is that it depends on what we are looking for in gambling, if we think of it as something that can make money it will make us angry, but if we think of it as filling our time and having fun then the feeling we feel is also different.

Really happy you guys are giving your honest reply, cause I've seen most people say gambling is for fun but my quest is at what level, if I am a millionaire and I gamble to win millions with astable of 100k above then I should be hurt if it doesn't play out, but if I'm using mere hundred or little thousand like 100-2000k then I'm not affected by my loses and can actually make it a fun habit.

So to me I think it's all about your stake and how financially stable your income is.

👉how do you feel when peopel ask you for money to gamble?, do you gamble with debt?  Or would you never indulge in such no matter how sure you are about the game ?

👉Do you set rules or limits on how much you stake per week to control your addiction or you are disciplinedenough to know when to stop?

Luck can sometimes be on your side and you win, but ive also lost my last cash to gambling before where I was busy thinking that I could get luck, and I would have used that cash to maybe do something else cause I've well exceeded my gambling limit for the week, since I has no wins I just wanted to try my luck and lost my last cash still, since then I just stopped breaking my set gambling rules.
487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does possessing information play an important role in betting ? on: March 09, 2024, 12:15:12 PM
Hi,

Information plays a major role in anything we do in our daily lives: work, study, investment, and undertaking projects in general, and possessing it is a useful strategy if we exploit it well.

In some fields, possessing information is considered more important than anything else, and obtaining it is difficult. Its importance is highlighted in the ability of the owner of the information to manipulate it as he wants and use it at the appropriate time and in the appropriate place for personal or public benefit.

In gambling, for example, we find that one of the strategies of a successful gambler is to always strive to obtain every piece of information that he can benefit from in order to use it to his advantage against other players or the casino, and his plan of action lies in:

-Obtaining information and analyzing it to ensure its validity before using it to avoid falling into the trap of fallacy.
-Ensuring the confidentiality of information, as the gambler must make sure that he is the only one who possesses the correct information and falsify it in order to deceive others.
-Use them at the right time to control the game and betting.

Possessing the correct information in the world of gambling is an advanced and useful step, as it makes the player play more comfortably without pressure from other players, which can change the course of the game at any time, increase the percentage of chances of profit, and reduce the percentage of losses on the other hand.

-Do you apply  this strategy while gambling?
-How do you benefit from it ?

Information applies and gives anyone that uses it well an advantage in anything in life even gambling, no can say that the statistics part doesn't play a role in helping you make the right choice, there are some matches that I do avoid cause historically the smaller team has always been winning or having a tie with the other team and If you e been in gambling for a while you would understand that this can happen quite often.
488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does the game of luck in gambling really works? on: March 09, 2024, 12:11:31 PM
The game of luck that is involved in gambling, is it the one of individual grace which attracts goodwills? Or it is by the days the gamble decides to remember you and then gives you the chance (s) winning?

I brought this up here because last night I went visiting a friend in his house and getting there, he was busy concentrating on his phone which I knew nothing about what he was in there doing.
He pleaded with me to be patient a little so he could finish up what he was doing and I said okay, go on and don't even stress yourself hurrying because of me.

He went silent at me for over 10mins and finally, it was the casino game tha he was busy playing.
The next thing he said to me was... Mate, let's roll out to the mall, I am taking charge of your bills tonight.
It was like a joke and we both went shopping and he paid $800 of my bills.
Guess what fellas, he said he won $13,980 in his casino bet while I was in his house. He claimed it was by my grace of goodwills and positive energy that attracted him that luck to win so, he don't mind having me 10% of that winning because he can't remember the last time he won a bet.

I don't really believe this dude because such grace has not even worked for me although some of my physical trader friends sometimes says they have more customers anytime I comes around their trading centres and they love having me around.

Does this really happen a reality or it is just some sorts of mental reasoning fellas?

Very funny the way you put, i don't really believe in things like fate or a perfect day so I won't be speaking in that direction, but what I've gotten to understand is that it's possible to have more wins than loses in gambling if you leave greed and go for smaller odds, cause IMO the odds you carry increases or decreases the probability of an outcome happening, so smaller odds has a higher chance to occur than bigger odds,
So what I do is I just narrow down my picks to just 5 games I'm sure of and a total of 4-10 odds as a min to max odd range and I stake high, its been working for me and I do it every weekend.
489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling all about luck? on: March 09, 2024, 12:06:07 PM
In my opinion making cash from gambling is not a good option and the statistical probability that you will win every game at every casino is very low. I think winning or losing every game is completely in your head, so your individual tricks are not there. However, we all have some kind of luck so we should strive for what is possible for us.

First if all the name gambling is all about risking to win all and Is solely dependant on luck is most cases especially online casino gambling, but In some cases like a one on one gambling can be a test of skill of each other.

Moreover gambling can not be used as a source of income because it has way to much probability on it and is does not have a stable outcome. Why most people get addicted to gambling is cause they enjoy the fact tat they can use small amounts to get big amounts by getting a series of outcomes right which is so unpredictable because you have very little information about how well players performed and at time the stats they show us can deceive us cause we don't know how we'll they performed in training or if a player has lost form.
490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If I bet big I lose, but if I bet small I win on: March 09, 2024, 08:06:18 AM
Guys, do you often feel like me? when I raise the bet I lose and when I lower the bet I win. Does the casino system/algorithm know the betting patterns we make? So often when we bet big we are given a loss and when our bet is small we actually win, which is very annoying

I don't know if this applies to all games or not, but I feel like this often when playing table games. What do you think?

It could be that your unlucky or cause of the platform your using, not not platforms are genuine in their dealings so you need to be careful, I personally stake high and go for small odds to decrease my chance of winning, I'm just going for the doubles or triples on my stake.
491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Even as a sport fan be careful! on: March 09, 2024, 08:01:49 AM

Rumors says they were away supporters, and the showoff was immense. I feel there is a need that if a Fan goes on a vacation to watch a game in a foreign country. They should be security conscious, observant and stay out of unnecessary banters that could lead them to troubles or death. It a game for fun and merriment not something we should take too personally to heart to cause trouble.

I rather think that home fans should be more receptive and accommodating to their visitors, they should not take advantage of those who come to their soil to cheer their team up because they are few and can not over power the home crowd. If the 2 victims didn't taunt the italians things should be taking as fun. Although no report that I have read to the cause but only that it happened in a restaurant, they seem to be okay.

The activites around football games and fans creates more funfair and razzmatazz but when it becomes violent then it will discourage gentle fans to travel for such fun. For me I like watching the game but where it becomes violent and endangering life, it is discouraging

Bro this football it can get far personal than you think especially when emotions have gotten in and we cant say for sure the actions of the Brighton fans or what they did to result to such actions from the Roma fans, this kind of stuff happens all the times in street football, it often results to fighting but not up to that extent, the only thing that I'm concerned about is that they forget to take their security seriously for themselves.
492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A call to self-examining our gambling habit. on: March 09, 2024, 07:55:40 AM
As gambler when last did you self-examine your gambling habit to create that awareness based on how you are gambling in order for you to be quite sure if you're within a considerable or an acceptable range of a gambling habit that is void of addiction or the tendencies of gambling addiction.

I think if gamblers could take certain step in setting up regular self examining question towards themself it will be helpful to them in their gambling life not to ignorantly be harbouring a gambling addiction or compulsive gambling lifestyle. Quite a number of gamblers are nursing an addictive gambling habit without knowing and for them their gambling life is normal but if they should  genuinely scrutinize or put their habit to test it is possible they could find varied errors to correct and be right on track again.

Don't you think so?

Your quite right about this I think it's a gamblers responsibility  to make sure that he won't get into a gambling habit for himself by taking steps to ensure that he hasn't gone to far.

Even better we all should set rules for ourselves that we must follow when gambling in order to have a limit of how much we would be spending weekly or daily, so that no matter the urge or feeling that you would win more you can actually hold yourself back.
493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I just woke up and saw wins in my gambling app on: March 08, 2024, 05:41:47 PM
I know this is not a new experience for many old gamblers that has been into gambling, but for me it's a new one, I've played a game over a week ago and I didn't even bother to check cause I never expect it to play out or let's say I mostly forgot since it was a busy week, just yesterday I logged it to check out the booking code my friend sent to me so I could fund my account and try it, the nest thign i saw from sporty was a win on my screen, I was shocked thinking it as a network glitch or something then I went to check my balance I had just won some cash, I was happy.

And worst of it, I never expected that game to play it was a rare case of I just tried my luck.

This is another reason why gambling can not be a job or anything like a source of income cause you can't know your games would play out and no predictions is ever accurate.

If you have such experience share it with us let's see the luck guys around.
I like the way that you are gambling, because you never put your hope on gambling to make profit, or putting your mind on winning. Why I said this is because, you made a bet that you have forgotten about, it means you are a responsible gambler, and you are gambling with an amount that means nothing to you.

Back to your question, Yes. I have played a game that I was less concerned about the result, and it was a friend of mine that called me to ask me of the result of the game, and when I was able to lay my hands on app reluntantly, I discovered that I won the game, and you should know what that means. I was over excited to the extent that I didn't gble throughout that week. There are a lot of things that will occupy a responsible gambler, that he would not be thinking about his bet all the time.

No praises bro, I just think it's cause I'm mostly too busy to attend to it, I do love football and enjoy having those arguments with my brother at home at times and I do read a lot of news about it, but when it comes to gambling i don't enjoy going alm out on it and that's because I Don't like wasting money, I have this rule not to spend more than a limit on any game for a particular week.

Beign a responsible gambler is quite the task, you must not get overwhelmed by the lust of making money and that is fact, gambling is not a means to make money or anything like it, so it's good we know that it's all risk and approach wisely.
494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Wins: Your Money Was Returned to You. on: March 08, 2024, 05:30:43 PM
OP your only right if the win /loss ratio is on one side which is loses, not everyone has it hard on gambling, but your not entirely wrong  to see it that way, most people just throw money at gambling daily with the mentality of trying their luck and would end up losing money on a daily basis and when they have list up to a month and finally win would gubilate as tho they have won anything when they have been losing all this while.

I lost more money on crypto than I made. I considered it a lottery, maybe i hit the right coin sometime, but most likely I will end in the red.

Read the topic bro, it'd not crypto we are talking about, it's gambling.

495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risking 1% in Gambling on: March 08, 2024, 05:27:42 PM
Quote
Guideline 1: Gamble no more than 1% of household income
Don’t bet more than 1% of your household income before tax per month. For example, someone with a household income of $70,000 before tax should gamble no more than $58 per month.

Recently I decided to risk only 1 percent of my gambling portfolio into each bet. This makes my bet risk free as I know that even if I lose the bet i will lose only 1% of my gambling money.

Do you guys also follow a similar strategy like gambling with 1% or 2% on each game? This way not only we are safe from losing big amounts but at the same time, we never find ourselves in a situation where we go all in, in some bet and then have the fear of losing all of our money.

You must have heard 1% strategy in trading, the same can be applied in gambling too and believe me, you will feel a lot more comfortable using this 1% of your money in every game.
This also gives you a lot of games to play before you end up on your money as on every bet you will use 1% of your money. In case you lose all bets, you will be playing 100 games because your money is exhausted.

The Lower-Risk Gambling Guidelines

I'm not really that kind of person that wants to risk little, once and if I allocate anything to gamble then I'm sure having a shot at it, im not really the big odds type, so I go for the all odds and hit that bag, maybe a couple double or triple on my money and I'm done for the week, unless I have need to again or saw a sure game that I think would play our fine.
496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou - March 9 on: March 08, 2024, 05:25:05 PM
I'd say it's a wise choice for Joshua. This would probably make him more money than a match against Wilder. And at this point in his career, it's probably money that matters most.

Wilder was just convincingly defeated. He didn't even win a round in one of the official scorecards. But he remains powerful. He could still defeat Joshua. There's the high risk. Ngannou, on the other hand, is also gifted with power, also fresh from a defeat. But he somehow became a star among boxing fans. He got everybody's respect by sending the Gypsy King down to the canvas. Joshua could be defeated by Ngannou but it's a better risk than be defeated by Wilder.

Yeah he should be more focused on the bag, he has had his glory as world best for a while, its time to start thinking in terms of retirement so that he won't be messed up when he retires, you know any famous boxers and athletes had this issue if going bankrupt after their career cause they failed to plan ahead and invest, just leaning on those big paychecks and huge lifestyles would get you wrecked if you don't invest.
497  Other / Off-topic / Re: Know when to stop on: March 08, 2024, 05:18:37 PM
Recognizing the signs that it's time to walk away is important to prevent emotional and financial losses. Knowing when to stop requires self awareness, discipline, and recognizing when gambling is no longer enjoyable and sustainable. Knowing signs will help you set clear limits and help you gamble responsibly.
The problem is that many gamblers don't know when they should stop gambling because they have found joy in gambling. That is a problem that every gambler should immediately pay attention to so they will not be drawn too deep into gambling.
If there is no inner desire always to prevent bigger losses and also no desire to prevent bigger problems, they will not know when to stop. They will only get deeper into gambling and find it difficult to stop their gambling habit.
If they could know when to stop, they would not gamble excessively and could prevent bigger losses. They can also determine how long they can gamble and not lose a lot of money to get pleasure from gambling.

Finding joy in gambling is great but allowing it to transport us from a good to worse financial status, isn't. However, gamblers should agree or accept that no idea or method is accurately adequate, but that shouldn't stop a player from trying out his luck. Although, the risk of losing is high, and players need to adapt to it, and watch their moves. So, avoiding the need to stop when in a bad state of gambling, can affect a gambler's lifestyle. Due to the failure, a player may end up addicted and find it very hard to change.

Self control is good in every area of live, its not a must that cause you gamble you have to get lost in the game and become an addict, if you know when to stop and apply a bit of discipline you would save your self a lot of regret and stress and even loses just by doing that.

This match would be awesome but we can well predict the winner If both was at their prime especially mike tyson, I bet he would cracked jakes head with one power punch or we would be expecting so many blow drops form Mike, but unfortunately he is old, weak and febile, not febrile tho he could still beat me up if I was in that ring, i would be running around begging for my live 🤣, but anyway Mike is not what he used to be and I guess this match is just a way to make some money off the legend, I wish he woudl win least he spoils his career history over this match. Jake wins 🏆 👏
500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling mistake repeated by the gamblers on: March 08, 2024, 05:04:36 PM
Greedy:
The gambler should avoid of the greediness in the gambling after the continuous gambling winning. The gambler should try to withdraw the funds from the gambling site after the good winning in the gambling site. Many loss the capital by doing high betting and random betting with the positive wipe with more winning. The most of the successful gamblers may skip greedy in their betting.

Share your opinion about this two mistakes with your experience.
Remember that gamblers are cool when they are playing without being greedy but once they turn this attitude ? addiction will come for sure as we have seen those addicts that are greed in winning so much .
when we can earn while having small wins and get out of the table but its now in which ending? they are losers and will always lose more.
That's right, those who gamble without being greedy of course they will be able to make the right decisions in gambling and also they will be able to enjoy every game they play, but if someone gambles greedily of course they will not be able to play well and they will make mistakes because they cannot make the right decisions in their gambling so they experience losses in gambling and it is very possible that they will get into more problems if they gamble greedily.

Mate I can tell you that's a very difficult attitude to create especially when you are gambling, do you know that the more you pick the higher you can win and you can win with as low as 10 naira which is less than 0.05 cent, imagine winning 1 million with 10naira cool right, thats what they say in their advert that shit is just to spark your greed 😁.

And I think the whole point of gambling is trying your luck, so why not try with more picks so you could win more. Yeah if you can gamble with control over your greed than you shoudk be a king of betting and I'll advice which ever company that us your host to close your account, you came to wreck them.
