481  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can the online Casino industry help Bitcoin? on: March 05, 2018, 08:59:48 AM
Online casino and other types of gambling shit is always robbing your wallets and I am not sure how they can help grow the economy of the bitcoin. I mean the economy, a healthy one can be achieved if there is always two way transactions between house and player. Mostly in gambling the thing runs on the luck and how easy the algorithm is. We know very well that we always end up loosing in front of the house because that is how it works. If this keeps going on unidirectional then crypto might not circulate properly and the casinos may get their wallets fat and fat all the time. I dont think that is helping the bitcoin in anyway. Im believer of liquid capitals and when the capital get condensed at one place then it disturbs the rest of the market.
482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Limit of Bitcoin on: March 04, 2018, 06:31:02 PM
I think about Bitcoin, and this is just my meaning.
As you know Bitcoin is limit. Total of Bitcoin is 21 million, we have dug nearly 16.8 million Bitcoin. Neither founder can not create more Bitcoin. Is this  the reason for raising Bitcoin price high and it's also cause for Bitcoin price reduction when we have nearly reached 21 million.

Actually when we will reach near to the bitcoin exhaustion level then the prices will pump huge. Because by that time people know this well that they have very less time to grab as much bitcoin as they could in short period of time as coin price will increase. That would be event when we will see drastic upward trend of the bitcoin market cap. Whales would fight mostly to buy more and more. That would be historic moment as there wont be anymore supply of the bitcoin and what we will have is currency to trade and who knows a fixed price too.
483  Economy / Economics / Re: Cash is best for anonymity? on: March 04, 2018, 05:14:41 PM
Cash is still being the best way if you want to make anonymous payments. Do you agree with it?
Also 85% of transactions are currently in cash.
What do you think about cash on blockchain, backed by gold ( https://goldencurrency.world )?

Anonymity in terms of what ? I mean whether it is payment made to black market for buying drugs, alcohol, hemp or whatever thing those people do for $$$$ or whether it is about the payment in general where you dont want to show publicly where you spend money? In both the cases cash can be tracked by some means. The banks, FBI, or regulatory bodies can tackle transactions very easily by using their tools and techniques. So its no wonder blunder that wether they are using the cash. Cash is not miracle which can not be tracked. Bitcoin however can provide some sort of pseudo anonymous nature and thus make it far good than the cash. At least it can keep everything in the public ledger with private keys and can just show from which address the transaction is being done but it cant tell your identity. So its still anonymous.
484  Economy / Economics / Re: Will this BTC price hold and does it indicate bull market yet? on: March 04, 2018, 03:00:46 PM
We will continue but with some more corrections bro! Yes, we have to follow more corrections before we can keep the upward trend continue. I am not sure about the different bull market but what I read over the forum and on the blogs tells me that we have passed one correction and we still continue to drop down one more time. May be we will hit the price of 10k again and then will start the uptrend. The bitcoin price will never hold at this point because the fluctuations will carry on the up and down trend and well obviously bitcoin has never been stable yet. Might just need another correction in few days or within a week or so to hit the bull market.
485  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you rather see steady growth in Bitcoin or strong upward spikes instead? on: March 04, 2018, 12:36:14 PM
I am very preserved about my investment into the bitcoin and I am always hoping the bitcoin should go only in upward direction and that too slow and steadily. I dont want to see bitcoin making huge spikes in the CMC graph and just want it to go upwards without that dirt. But the thing is its not gonna happen at any time as the market is dependent upon many things which are uncontrolled and will always interfere the bitcoin market or price itself. If it stated going Iowa's steadily then that would be drawback as well because with steady growth the prices will keep rising and after few years we might not see new investors taking interest into the crypto as the prices would be intolerable to invest. Thats what I think about it.
486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin might be like IBM on: March 04, 2018, 09:13:01 AM
am i the only who is worried that bitcoin might be like IBM we have seen it before one product controls a market then a competitor comes in and the previous king is left in the dust

That is really off the box thinking I would say. This is not the way the bitcoin is working now a days. It was made with blockchain technology to synch peer to peer transactions and get out of the limits of banking system. There is no such system that exist today except the Swift tech that is used in the banking system.

The correlation is kind of differs here. The bitcoin tech is something unique and moreover it is decentralised so no one can really interfere with and may not try to create other tech like that. IBM and stuff was easy to copy and paste but the blockchain is not.
487  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: #BTC Update on: March 03, 2018, 08:50:43 PM
#BTC Update

Well it's a good News that #BTC staying above the Resistance Line and Looks like it's on the Bullz
It needs to Stay Above 11.5K Area then we can see BTC Heading towards 11.9K to 12K Zone..
No need to worry about ALTS at the Moment b'coz Alts Session Started as we Said
ALTS and BTC Both Going Up

The resistance level is very hard this time and I don't think bitcoin will be able to sustain it for long. Thai time also bitcoin will come down for sure but not much more than 1k that's for sure. Thats because it has already made the resistance little more stable and broke all the like that it should be breaking already.

This is perfect time for new investors to pop in and support the bitcoin market cap. But that's just vein because we know very nobody is going to invest at this very high point. Let's just hope that we will see sunrise and not sun down.
488  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do I need not to give up my bitcoins? How does that going to benefit in the on: March 03, 2018, 04:59:58 AM
Why do I need not to give up my bitcoins? How does that going to benefit in the long run??

What do you mean by giving up my bitcoins. ? You are confused with something and taking the bitcoin thing wrong way. Bitcoin is simple and decentralised currency for your own use. It was made like such that you could use it peer to peer transaction. "Be your own bank" is the concept coming from this currencies only. You don't have to rely on anything or anyone. You are own boss of your holdings and you don't have to sell anything for any purpose.
489  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What apps are you using to track your portfolio? on: February 28, 2018, 05:05:32 PM
Believe I am an old ass who like the pen and paper to do all kind of things. Somehow I have adapted the world of crypto currency out of my curiosity and enthusiasm to learn new things. However I cant really let go my pen and the white starchy paper off my hands. Its best to track down for guy like me as I can find it more quicker and easier to track my portfolio that way. The most amazing part is, I get more confused when I use the apps because I have to add the additional step of using it by logging into it. Thats my old head may be. But old methods are sometimes far greater than new one. Those who understand the new ways of application should go that way only.
490  Economy / Economics / Re: As long as you convert your crypto to fiat, we will never go mass adoption on: February 28, 2018, 04:34:55 PM
That's all well and good but the problem is that bitcoin is not yet adopted as a global payment it is still in the process of being recognized by an average joe who doesn't have any knowledge about crypto currency. So in order liquidate and use our crypto currency we need to convert it in fiat.

Somewhat true. I think the main reason is we are not able to use the crypto currency with full fledge in the world. Neither we have any online use of it (everywhere in the world) nor we can use it offline for daily life. So what most of the people are doing is to get it converted to the fiat currency and then go happy about it! Thats the trend now and I think no one is strong enough to hold it forever like that. If they have to cash it out then they will for their needs and support as I do myself!  Wink
491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin reached Max. Supply on: February 28, 2018, 04:04:52 PM
Hi, just wonder what will happen when Bitcoin reached its max. supply i.e. 21M, currently, the circulating supply is 16-17M.  Will miners not get their profit on mining??

What is your speculation about bitcoin reaching its maximum? value?

Mining is the only process which can confirm your transaction when it is added in the block over the "block-chain" and thus the whole thing is working just fine becasue of them. So in any case if you think that supply is related to miners income source then that is completely wrong! Miners vital work is to confirm your transaction and complete the peer to peer process by helping the pools. Thus, though the supply dry out it has got nothing to do with it as we will still be sending the bitcoins to each other. Also, there is no relation of the coins which are not in the circulation as they are not moving anywhere. So its about the things (tokens/coins) that are moving in circulation.

493  Economy / Economics / Re: Implication of regulation and the securities status on: February 27, 2018, 10:10:15 AM
Hi all,

just want to throw out a question. Whats your opinion on the regulation of cryptos to a securities status (global scenario) ?

As an example, in Switzerland the financial regulatory agengy FINMA has set regulations that will limit the possibilities for new ICO's and provide more safety for investors.
(see: https://www.finma.ch/en/news/2018/02/20180216-mm-ico-wegleitung/)

Resumed, I think it will be good for the market and future of ICO's but others think it will suffocate new startups. I would be very interested in some opinions on the subject.

Thanks
It will surely have an impact with the price. But if its purpose is to protect the investors, then it’s a good thing for the bitcoin community. Moreover regulating the Bitcoin would mean the government acknowledged its existence and has allowed more Bitcoin investors. On the other hand, regulating would benefit the government because of taxation. Government will get what they want and Bitcoin will be more secured which will draw more investments. It’s a win-win situation.
Bitcoin will do nothing to help governments. Fiat stimulates the production. Cryptocurrencies stimulate speculation. Legalization and regulation of the ICO to raise money for lending and the development of production. But it will be difficult to control the technology. For example, a person who comes up with an economical engine for alternative fuel can easily find funding for their project and in a few years can turn the whole world order. Governments are very afraid of this.

I partial agree with you as you backed up your statement with proper example. However the partial denial is because of your opening line that bitcoin can’t do anything for government. The thing can do much more than we could imagine if government properly regulates it. Considering the fact that Switzerland is regulating it for themselves only as they will easily be able to incur the charges on bitcoin holder. They know very well there are lot more people in the Switzerland alone who would be interested in investing into bitcoin and thus the government itself can benefit from the taxes. So you see it has got potential to fund them.
494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Hack? on: February 27, 2018, 08:29:08 AM
It can not be hacked as it is a public ledger and it continues to flow through from one seed to another and never stays at one place as whole. Which means the risk is already taken down for hacking it. On the other hand bitcoin itself is secured with private keys, so getting into ones account would take forever to break that chain. Blockchain is like same case as swift code which has not reported any hack cases and thus blockchain neither as it is far stronger than it.
495  Economy / Economics / Re: Is your bitcoin earnings enough for you to start a business? on: February 27, 2018, 06:38:03 AM
I have a job, and I'm quite tired of working as an employee. I was thinking if I can make my btc earnings a start for a business, what do you think?

It is amazing idea, as I hate employee life too but the thing is I have made many calculations and what it tells me that bitcoin earning is not sufficient at all. However, it also depends on the country where you reside. The reason is simple, if you live in third world country then I’m sure the payments you get out of signature campaigns and bounty programs is way higher than other countries. These funds could be enough for you if you saved them for few months to a year or so. If you reside in the US or European country then forget about it as it is way costlier than anything to form a business start up.
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 5 crypto have the potential and worth to invest in the future on: February 26, 2018, 10:57:08 AM
Top 5 secrets are potential and worth to invest in the future
What are you following?
I think BTC, ETH, AND ....

and SCL, JNT, IPL with grand success in the future to come. They have always been my top choices since few months and recently added up the IPL who sold their tokens within few minutes of time. That’s huge giant leap for these guys and I think being investor it could grow over the time nicely. I always think those who got involved into IPL token sale will be very lucky and might be planning on the retirements already. Lolz. Yeah because this project was grand succes in the pre sale only and that’s why I trust it so much. You can even see the whitepaper today and will see how they are behind the plans they made. ;-)
497  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do if the prices down again? on: February 26, 2018, 06:39:45 AM
All your points are ok and you can follow them. However the sell time has already passed away and we are already down the line. Selling at this point would be like selling st the bottom rate only and thus it won’t do any good to you. Prices may start recovering from this point onward.

Second most important thing, if you have bought your current coins at higher rates than this then there’s is no point in selling them and rebuying at even lower rates, as you will be already in loss.

The ups and downs will always be there, so if you are life long holder then there is no point selling and buying. Just hold wait for it to rise 2-3 times more.
498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency education in high school on: February 25, 2018, 06:12:09 PM
This high school in New Jersey is already teaching its students about cryptocurrencies.

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/02/07/bitcoin-education-at-high-schools-and-colleges.html

They are taking out all the fun from school for sure. This is not the way one should introduce the student to outside world like crypto currency. I mean it’s truly alien for them and the school days are something different than this one. They might just get diverted from the actual course and may end up in different world. Cryptos are addictive and if they get this addiction then who will be responsible for this one.

I’m pretty sure they won’t just learn the Blockchain Technology and it’s use but also about the crypto currency and how to earn out of it. That could change everything.
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Classic, a pump and dump? on: February 24, 2018, 09:31:16 AM
Can't seem to find anything that makes it stands out or unique, compared to the other coins I have.

Neither do any other coins out there are worth anything. What do you think why the crypto with altcoin section is surviving? Because of the real development ? Nah! I dont think that there is any real team which making any real business out in the real world. The money is just spinning around and people are making real bucks from the bucks which we put out there.

Ethereum classic is no different thing than this one and it will always be a pump dump in the same manner as the other one.

There are very few projects which are making real deals and having the originality in their products. These are the only coins which are doing something grateful.
500  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Hitbtc fraud on: February 24, 2018, 07:03:17 AM
Hello, looking to start a lawsuit against hitbtc
They are stealing small investors money because most of us can't fight back. Join in I am organizing a lawsuit. Let's bring em down!!! Powermaad@gmail.com spread the word!!!

HitBTC is good exchange and im using it daily. In fact it is one of the third exchanger that I use most and I have no problems with it. I never seen my money going down or up and to be honest im the small investor as well. So its nothing like that they are stealing money from my account or something similar.

On the other hand they even credit all types of forked coins to my account whenever there is BTC balance at the time of forking. So which exchange would do that ? I mean they are genuine that is why they do credit my account occasionally and scam exchanger would have stolen such free money already. Anyway I just thought to point it out because everyone is just saying negative stuff about it.

What's the issue exactly? I use this exchange sometimes and quite like their interface. Haven't noticed any stealings personally. Would you mind elaborating on your issue?

Yeah, me too I dont see any problem with this service.
