Not to speak of anything personal of Mr. Felts, but not everyone trusts a lawyer in a broken system that buys and sells justice on a daily basis.

I agree with this.  I don't want you to trust me.  I don't stand to profit from Syscoin right now (maybe my 10 syscoins will be explode in value one day). Actually, I lose money every second I'm here and not working on my regular job.  I also didn't lose any money from Moolah or Mintpal, unless you think they were behind the big drop in value over the summer. Nonetheless, I understand your point and it is fair.  To be clear, I'm trying to help root out a scammer and am trying to avoid leaving any stone unturned. It brought me here (Syscoin community).  I have a few questions and hopefully can move on. Admittedly, it would be satisfying to see others benefit from my work.  That's all I got, pretty simple.

Also personally I trust very few people at this stage on BCT and none of them are newbie account (hint hint).

I explained earlier, I'm not new.  This account is new on BCT, but I'm not and I've been very active in other forums.

Its really very simple. We are only going to release info that we have 110% verified is not going to cause problems later on for our case.
Yes, it would be nice if this could all be resolved within 2-3 days, but that is not how the legal wheels turn sadly.

Was the previous info released not 110% verified? I know it takes longer than 2 to 3 days for your type of matter to be resolved. That's why I don't see you getting escrow money w/o a trial on whether there's been a breach of the escrow agreement (or a theft, or fraud, etc) and why the injunction statements sounded funny to me.  Read my previous comments on TROs.

You see guys....you got yourselves and and a few others all stirred up over nothing....NOTHING.
The devs don't have the time to respond to every dreamed up question.
They will respond as they can and when they can.
So just relax.
It reminds me of the character Emily Litella that was on Saturday Night Live many years ago that
would get all cranked up and ranting....find out she was wrong...calm down and say....
"OH....NEVER MIND."

Its not over nothing.  People like info that verifies things.  Still no better off than yesterday on that front, but we'll continue to wait and see.  Questions will be asked as necessary.  It doesn't have to be emotional if you don't let it.
483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain on: October 30, 2014, 05:42:56 AM
Nope.  I'm fine.  I think the devs are great.  I'm telling you about the perception that is festering in some corners of the market.  Nothing wrong with answering a few questions (those they can legally answer).  When people yell FUD when a legitimate concern is brought up it makes me very nervous.

I'm in the same place you are. I think the devs are fantastic. The festering perception you mentioned is in fact spreading. I get nervous when people yell 'FUD' when basic and relevant questions are asked.

Case numbers are relevant, basic, and public record. It is beginning to unnerve me that the case number has not been given to those who have asked.

-----

@devs, please - what is the case number and why avoid giving the case number when asked, up to now?

Not providing at least the case number seems unusual. Providing it will allay the concerns some people are having about the existence of a true legal matter. There is no valid reason to withhold the case number. Provide that much, and let the 'FUD' about whether the case is fiction or fact be laid to rest.

*Note - in places outside the United States, a case number might be designated by some other term such as 'Docket Number'.

Thank you.

I heard on IRC and Twitter that the devs will release some additional details tomorrow about their legal proceedings.  They've stated the new info will answer the questions that have been raised.  That sounds positive.  Hope we get some good news tomorrow.

You are officially on my fecal roster  aka "Ignore" along with "Dumbo".

Why bother telling me?  I don't care. At all. Sorry you're offended about asking for a case number.  Life is hard sometimes.
485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain on: October 29, 2014, 11:37:48 PM
so.... the Syscoin devs  have gone to all the trouble of hiring a law firm to pursue
a scammer they're in bed with? Amazing. Oh and the law firm must be in on it too. WoW!

Truth is sometimes stranger than fiction.   Undecided

Quote
I guess you see things under the bed, at your windows and watching you through your computer.
Please take your fud and "questions" elsewhere. Bugging the devs when they have their hands full is very distracting.

I think you're assuming way too much about me or my intent.  You might be the one seeing things that are not there.  Side note: did you ever read any of those reports about the Feds being able to hijack your webcam and observe you w/o you knowing the camera is on (http://gizmodo.com/fbi-can-secretly-activate-laptop-cameras-without-the-in-1478371370)?  Wouldn't shock me if there are some crypto folks who can do the same.

To repeat...I've made my choices.....if I lose I lose. At this point its over 2 BtC.

Never a question.

Quote
ps....do you really THINK....a scammer isn't going to give you the answer to your question that you want to hear?
That's how they work. You have to move past inane "questions" and check things a little deeper.

My thinking is that less is more.  If simple questions about a case number send people on a rampage, what does that tell you?  Tells me something is off.

Crypto markets will skin you until you learn....and some never do.

I know, that's why I'm here!  I'm trying to help you learn how to do your due diligence next time so you won't get skinned again. But if you won't listen carefully, I can't help you.

What amazes me is usually the fudders with very little to nothing in a coin.....stir up the most crap.

What amazes me is that is usually the people calling FUD that get burned b/c they didn't ask questions and yet they get pissed off at the people who do.

We'll get you up to speed eventually.

EDIT: What should I make of this: https://twitter.com/cryptocoinsnews/status/527605007638466562 ?  Coincidence? Motive? What?
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain on: October 29, 2014, 09:46:45 PM
Felt, your implication with your "questions" is that something isn't right with the dev team.
Best thing for you to do is take the Syscoin you were "tipped" sell it and move along to
a coin you think you think you can trust. After all, doesn't sound like you have a thing in it.
We're here with a lot more syscoin than a "tip" and trust this dev group implicitly.

As a reminder, don't ever have more money in any coin than you are prepared to lose.
Potential to win is big but so is the potential to lose. Nothing is "safe".
YMMV.

I really do understand your point, and I'm not trying to offend you or anyone else.

My questions speak for themselves, so I won't repeat them. You're free to interpret them however you want.

RE: "Best thing for you to do is take the Syscoin you were "tipped" sell it and move along to a coin you think you think you can trust."

Aside from being rude, a lot of Moolah PIE holders said the same thing when it was pointed out that there were problems with their investment. Those investors got offended, told people leave, etc. Now, many are embarrassed and pissed off at themselves for not asking enough questions.  For some reason, you and a few others don't want independent verification of the representations being made to you.  For some reason, you and a few others don't want me asking for information that should be in the public record already (I can't find it).  You realize the Syscoin folks, for whatever, agreed to partner w/ a very controversial company and individual?  Its a fact. You also undoubtedly realize that Ryan might be well a known scammer.

I find it interesting that there wasn't enough red flags to move on to another partner. I find interesting that the only proof of what should be in the public record comes from tweets, instagrams, blog posts, and press releases (who does a press release for an injunction besides TMZ; who wants to announce via press release that they got scammed by a well known scammer - can't be good for business) produced by interested parties. I'm not making this up.  Why aren't you asking more questions?

I hope I'm barking up the wrong tree.  If it turns out I am, I will apologize and admit the same.

Fair enough?

Sure.  Definitely reserve judgment until facts are in, I didn't mean to suggest or imply otherwise. But until then, I think questions need to be asked and nobody should feel shy about asking them. Not asking questions is what happened in Dogeland.

EDIT - after 6pm London time.  https://i.imgur.com/BY9wR6g.jpg

Please don't give him any information. I don't trust Felt AT ALL.

No need to trust me.  Just want people to ask basic questions.

I have serious doubts.  I appreciate your response, its very similar to the response the Moolah proponents gave for months when they were approached w/ simple questions.

So you are stating that Selachii LLP is not a legitimate legal organization?

Nope.  Simply asking for what I consider to be routine information.  I've secured a number of TROs and injunctions for people in the U.S. in fraud type cases, so I have an idea how these things work.

Typically, there's another law suit in the pipeline that runs concurrently w/ the injunction action.  Here, I'd expect there to be a civil theft, fraud, breach of contract (escrow agreement) etc. law suit running concurrently w/ an injunction action.  The injunction would work to freeze the assets until a trial could take place on whether there has been a theft (takes a while to get to trial too, especially if the allegations are denied).  Incidentally, I've never issued press releases for injunctions related to a claim for under $500K (or for any amount for that matter) (750btc x $~350 = $262K).

Someone else asked what my interest in Syscoin is, will answer here: I have a few Syscoin (tipped to me in last few days).  I like the concept of Syscoin. I love Dogecoin and watched Moolah cause a lot of damage to our community (allegedly).  I've been following that closely.  Syscoin, as you know, has had their own Moolah issues.  But, now that I've had some time to dig into those issues, I have some questions.  I want to be able to understand why my experience with similar injunctions is different from what's been communicated so far. There may be good explanations.  I hope there are, I detest scammers and don't want anyone to incur damages (that includes Syscoin).  So, I'm asking questions I haven't seen others ask yet.  If they're not questions you like or if they make you squirm, I'm sorry.  I can't unthink them.  Help me believe that a case number should be confidential.  I would love to believe that b/c I have my own work I need to be doing.
490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain on: October 29, 2014, 03:44:47 PM

All the press releases and articles in the world won't prove that any of this is really happening.  Syscoin partnered with a known scammer (alleged  Tongue), not sure why anybody would necessarily believe this injunction story without actual proof.

Again, Syscoin people, please provide a case number for this matter.

Holy shit. Are you seriously doubting this? So you think @Selachii_LLP is in on the scam as well? Holy numfucks you take the cake for paranoid delusional of the week.

Please state the time of the hearing and the location.  Also, provide the case number.  Is the hearing on this list: http://www.justice.gov.uk/courts/court-lists/list-commercial.  Who is the party working on behalf of Syscoin?  Is there a corporation or some kind of company that is the named petitioner/claimant in the dispute?

All,

I have received a document containing additional information about Ryan via mod mail (/r/notDogecoinFUD) on Reddit.  The document was sent to me yesterday, but I just discovered it a few minutes ago.  I cannot take a position on the accuracy of the information given to me. I apologize if said information is already contained here - haven't had time check.

Will be happy to post other relevant information sent my way.

I am not permitted to post the following in the dogecoin subreddit, where I would normally post such a thing, because the mods over there are incompetent.  So, I shall share this with you.  Its the IRC chat log of my very first conversation with the C.O.O. of Moolah. I had been giving Moolah a hard time on the dogecoin thread, but the mods kept deleting my posts.  I created my own subreddit, /r/notDogecoinFUD, which caught the attention of Moolah's Chief Goon, i mean Operations Officer.  Read the transcript.  It speaks to what he knew about Green, how competent he should be w/ regards to business practices, the b.s. censorship on the dogecoin subreddit, and Moolah's deliberate lack of transparency.

Enjoy,
