481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Flycoin by Senior member Vegasguy (50% POS)/POW is now live!! /NO ICO *ROS SWAP on: September 14, 2015, 02:22:39 PM
Guys please read the model of this coin. It is VERY different than anything you have ever seen. The "trusted few" hold their own coins, but almost the entire money supply will be held by about only 10 investors, and it will remain that way, and only less than 1% of the money supply will EVER be available to the public at a time, as these 10 investors have agreed to keep this coin private and only release tiny percent at a time. This prevents the public from dumping on us,  as in order to dump the price they will need a large amount of fly and none will be available.
Vegas

That's really interesting. You try to protect coins market value but expect whole community to trust 10 investors. If they don't sell their coins market value stay same. Why should people trust these 10 investors? Who are these 10 investors? Where's the written guarantee they gave to community? In case they broke their promise legal action should be taken. Can you show community this agreement paper?
482  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Coinchat.io , Bitcoin Online Chat ! on: September 13, 2015, 10:52:35 PM
It could be beneficial for site if people can see chat window without sign up. I opened the site and when I see the register page I turned it off immediately. I won't sign up any site that I don't even know the content. I'm sure a lot of people think like me. You need to show something to get more users.
483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stress test is underway - Watch your fees. on: September 13, 2015, 10:49:20 PM
Yesterday I sent some coins with normal fee, they are still unconfirmed. I don't know why miners don't accept yet.
I used normal recommended fee in Bitcoin Core which is 6k sat per kb.

What is the best bitcoin wallet?
Blockchain.info

LOL. Ignorance is real here. Can you tell me just one sentence why do you think Blockchain.info is the best wallet?
If your answer will be good enough then I'll award you some coins.
485  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin= 1M$ tomorrow. What you will do? on: September 12, 2015, 01:16:44 PM
I would buy the Sacramento Kings.

You got a lot of BTC's in your stash OgNasty. Smiley

I'd probably buy a new Ferrari, make real estate investments, starting my own clothing brand and be a partner of a Vodka or Wine company.
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to understand other's altcoin behaviors - please take this quick quiz! on: September 12, 2015, 01:13:43 PM
1. What are your top three investments?  Top five?
Bitcoin
Monero
Darkcoin (before Dash)

2. Do you hold these coins long-term, or day trade (specify if possible)?
I only hold Bitcoin for long term. I used to hold altcoins too, but now I'm out of long term altcoin investments.

3. What exchange(s) do you trade on?
Poloniex, Btc-e, Cryptsy

4. Overall, has altcoin trading (or holding) brought you profit or loss?
I could say neutral for these 3 coins but I've lost serious amount of money from others like Fedoracoin, Leafcoin, Devcoin and some other coins I don't even remember their names.

Over $60 million in funding raised for bitcoin companies this week alone. Why don't you count these investments?

488  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is BlockChain down? on: September 12, 2015, 01:04:04 PM
Earlier today I got the same error for 3-4 times. It's working now. I don't blame Coinwallet's stress test, Blockchain.info should be ready for higher transaction amounts. After the block size limit raise what will they do?
489  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin invest to Forex trade on: September 12, 2015, 01:00:28 PM
Volatility for high Bitcoin we chose a hedge strategy to protect against the loss of a large and steadily increasing profits.

How do you maintain volatility? How could you protect users from that? Forex has already high risk, leverage trading in Bitcoin is tougher than all other financial investment instruments.

What is the best bitcoin wallet?

Before we answer this question we need to know your needs. If you need it for making micro payments you can use an online wallet, like blockchain.info.
If you want to hold your coins safe you need to use Bitcoin Core or Armory.
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any coins which aren't just pump and dump? on: September 10, 2015, 11:06:23 AM
Bitcoin only. It has real usage in economy. It has the biggest adoption in whole crypto-coin world.
I'd say all altcoins are for pump & dump, no real life usage.
492  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason of the price fall on: September 09, 2015, 08:44:41 PM
Price is very stable for last 6-8 months. I think Bitcoin remain over 200$ is a good sign for long term. People have confidence to coins, 200-300$ range moves are because of speculations around here. That's pretty normal.
There's nothing we need to worry right now. Everything's fine.
493  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are there Russian troops in Syria? on: September 09, 2015, 08:38:12 PM
There are agents and troops from almost every country/special forces in Middle East right now. But I don't believe that Russia take part of this war, at least for now. When ISIS clear the area, neighbor countries will try to get soil from Syria. In that time Russia might send troops there.
494  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you wish you could buy with btc ? on: September 09, 2015, 08:33:42 PM
Today i can use my bitcoin debit card to pay for almost anything really (where cards are accepted ofcourse) , so the next goal would be to for me to be able to pay directly from my wallet for those purchases. Paying for stuff from ebay would also be a nice add-on.

eBay will probably be the last company in the world that accept Bitcoin payments directly. They are heavily related to Paypal. Paypal's biggest rival is Bitcoin of course.
We can say that other marketplaces have bigger chance to accept Bitcoin payments before eBay.
495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If *someone* is stressing BTC... Do you support stressing *someone*? on: September 09, 2015, 08:30:38 PM
It looks like miners rejected some transactions. Mempool is not empty but they didn't accept all transactions in back to back blocks since one hour.
496  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to complete one btc fast? on: September 09, 2015, 08:28:11 PM
You will complete 1 btc in 2 months. Grin

What rank on this site do you need to get that?

If you have Hero Member account you can get 0.36BTC in 1 month for 300 posts. You can make 1BTC in 11 weeks.
497  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: September 09, 2015, 07:28:56 PM
Where did you read that?  I have been watching this forum and their forum and have not seen anything to the affect that if you buy now you will have first priority on the market to sell.  If it was some random user who said that I would just ignore him.  About 90% of the posts on Bitmains forums are from stupid people who didn't/don't understand the concept of how these assets work, and are just complaining to complain because they lost their $100.

I read it in a local platform. That statement was from a trusted Bitcoiner, not a random person. I don't use Bitmain's forum ever.
498  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: September 09, 2015, 06:33:10 PM
hi all

It seems S7 shop is now open. Sales just started

It looks like you can buy them, but they won't start hashing for up to a month. Better not to try and risk getting your coins held up for a while.

I read that recently some people say if you buy now you have priority to sell them in market. If that's true people would like to buy them for speculation. You know when something hit the market first its price will be ridiculously high.
499  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I buy Bitcoins with my phone? on: September 09, 2015, 06:23:04 PM
He can't buy from exchange sites. Seriously, how do you think that he can send phone credits to exchange sites?
He should open a thread in Marketplace forum. There's no other way to convert them into Bitcoin.

Just buy 1BTC from your savings. If you don't have enough money then save more from your wage monthly. If you don't have wage, go find a job. Don't use your precious time for micro earning sites.
