481  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: XFX 7950 for $270 at Newegg, is it voltage unlocked? on: March 27, 2013, 07:35:14 PM
XFX has a bad reputation on 79xx dual fan series.I saw many broken all over the internet .Best come from MSI/Asus with better cooling -few degrees less than the other models and creamy chips.
In other words has any of you check the ASIC quality of the GPU on the 7xxx cards with GPU-Z ?

Im using an i7 2600k hd 3000 for browsing/playing with an AMD 7950 mining same time. Just go to screen resolution  tab in your windows and check multiple dispaly tab and select extended, make your settings in MSI AB or Trixx than go back to show desktop only on 1.After that start your miner. Also don't forget to prior insert the dummy plug in your card.

485  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: What is the simplest way to monitor a single mining rig? on: March 23, 2013, 10:45:35 AM
Most of the pools have a miner fail sms/e-mail notification. So if you have a smartphone connected to the internet you will receive an email as soon as your miners are down.I also have TeamViewer installed on my phone and can check my rig  when I'm out.
486  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Multiple card set-up gpu load on: March 22, 2013, 01:32:42 PM
 I rig with Asrock 970 extreme4. pcie1  1x 5870 on extender 1x->16x, pcie2 1x7950, pcie3 1 x5850-on extender 1x->16x and pcie5 1 x 5970 all powered by and AX 1200 W.
Problem: I start cgminer/phoenix -anything is the same- and gpu usage is at 98-99% but the usage is dropping down  on all gpus by time. For example all gpus drop from 98-99 % to 95% in 1 h, so like 3-4 % / h down loosing this way my hash power.
Untill I added the 7950 never experienced such a problem with the other 5xxx.I suspect a driver problem as I also noticed spikes in cpu usage as well, but I tried all drivers from 12.3 to beta 13.3 with all sdks from 2.4 to 2.8 in vain .
Power is NOT an issue here as they all suck max 850 W according to my power meter.
OC is also not an issue as same thing is happening regardless of OC.
Temps  between 58-65, so heat is not an issue.
Priority of cgminer is set to realtime and monitored gpu load via gpu-z and MSI AB.
Any suggestions?

My 5870 does 400 Mh/s with reaper v.13   clocked to  900/1264/1163  settings: --tc 8000, -w 256 --st 10 -I 20 .

I would say 7950 are best Mh/$. 7970 are very good too but cost more.

I tried last version too, but nothing changed ..lots of errors same as previous version.Anything above I 13 on my 7950 = lots of errors and at I 19 only errors. WinVista x64 bit, 8 Gb RAM, cgminer  2.11.3, -g 1, -w 256

Ok, so I run 2 instances but does that affect in a negative way my chances to solve the block faster in solo mining as I dont use stratum ?
Would it be faster pointing all my total hash power in 1 instance towards the block, or is same thing if i have 2 open instances ?
Basically is 2  instances same/or faster vs x block or is 1 instance vs x block  faster. Also if I fire up the second instance I move to y block or stay on same x block as if i stayed on 1 instance ? Ty all for help!
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Consolidated Litecoin Mining Guide for 5xxx, 6xxx, and 7xxx GPUs on: March 16, 2013, 01:47:17 PM
I'm trying solo mining and I wonder which way is better: having 1 reaper instance with total Mh/s power or I can use 2 instance -I prefer this way cause of mixture of cards 5xxx with 7xxx in one system- without affecting my chances of solving faster the block.
Or it doesnt matter how many instances since I mine just 1 block at a time and all the solved work is passed locally on server.
I really cant wait for the fixes in the upcoming cgminer so i can switch, as im sick and tired of babysitting reaper, but it is the only way I can get very good hashrate on 5xxx and 7xxx.

Preliminary tests on my Sapphire 7950  doing 730 Mh/s but Im getting lots of HW errors

Anyone knows a fix ?

493  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: PHP martingale bot for satoshiDICE on: March 01, 2013, 08:11:12 PM
I have one question: Could it be possible for the bot to acces the real time bets as they appear on "recent" tab on sd site, or at least  last bet, check the number and bet only if x > y , where y is "no less than  number we play.
For example I want to only play : Less that 32768 which is 50%, for a fixed amount but I want the bot to check last number on recent tab and if that number is > 32768 alow to bet,  if it is < 32768 stop and wait till next number is greater than 32768 then play.So could this be made possible?
I know its a bit out of this topic but it is /can be connected to it.

It seems to beat RPI if you look at specs .

I see no PayPal payment support. Do you plan to add PP ? I think some of your potential customers could use  PP .

500  Economy / Web Wallets / Blockchain.info Unconfirmed Transactions on: March 30, 2012, 03:04:26 PM
Hi, I'm running into trouble trying to send BTC from my wallet at https://blockchain.info. I can receive BTC, but  can't send . Last night I tried to send 2 BTC and today less but both tries ended up with the same  red "Unconfirmed" tab . Further more today I received my 2 BTC  from last night back into my account, meaning transaction was unsuccessfull.
Today after I tried again to send few BTC from the wallet I saw my transaction on "latest transaction page" almost immediately, but didnt appear on  http://bitcoincharts.com/bitcoin/txlist/ , as it didn't appear last night in my other try.
So I'm wondering what am I doing wrong here?
