I agree, Digigami. The 3.5 % is very offputting with a new pool. I have a feeling you and I are the only ones mining with this place with any reasonable hashes.
482  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Introducing BTC Canada - Canada's Bitcoin Mining Pool! on: August 12, 2012, 01:20:25 AM
Do you even have any miners yourself running to keep the Pool viable? We're dipping below 1 Gh, and it appears people are abandoning.
483  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Introducing BTC Canada - Canada's Bitcoin Mining Pool! on: August 11, 2012, 11:07:13 PM
No I mean how do you calculate individual hashrate? What is the time length you use?
484  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Introducing BTC Canada - Canada's Bitcoin Mining Pool! on: August 11, 2012, 11:02:16 PM
How does your site calculate hashrate?

10X
I am little bit new to all the stuff and i am not noticing obvious things:)

Best

No problem! Glad to have another miner on board!

Registered, but I feel lots of affinity for my MtRed pool, with its 0 fees.... I'll try it out for a bit. I'll send the hashes from my 7770 to you, but keep the rest on MtRed for now. Lets see what BTCcan can do!

Merged mining has been disabled for over a month now, because Rex couldn't get it to mine stable. Once he gets that figured out, he'll re-enable it.

Look at the top bar: https://mtred.com/ it's been 44d since we had a NMC block found, so there's no way you could have your NMC wallet update Wink

Rejects are massively out of control.  >5%

And longpoll doesn't seem to be working.

What server are you using? Since I've been using the mtred.com:8837 server, I've had WAY less rejects, less than 0.01%

Yeah, I just noticed that. Oh well, bitparking gets my Mhash while it's down Smiley

(Edit: you say pa.mtred.com is up, but it hasn't worked for me for about 3 weeks now.)

If you're having issues connecting to a mining node, try mtred.com:8837 (The beta node) There's currently about 100 of us connected to it.

It's on ebay, but if you're from here and want to buy it, I'll accept payment by Bitcoin using the MtGox 24h average. Feel free to ask any questions.

Hey, I was reading through the old thread and realized we have had so many different addresses and ports to connect, could we get a master list of all the working addresses/ip's and ports for this server so we can set up our miners to fall back if one or two stop working? Are there even multiple nodes?

Here's a list I know of:

pa.mtred.com:8337 (Not working ATM)
mtred.com:8337
mtred.com:8837 (beta server I think?)

Are there any more to add?

P.S. I left the pool for a few days to try Eclipse, but they are PPS fee, and I don't like the whole DGM thing. I'm back and feel like I'm home Smiley

Ok cool! Just wondering.

Hey Rex, any word on when Merged Mining will be back, if ever?
496  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BTCmon - Bitcoin Monitor App for iPhone on: August 01, 2012, 03:30:05 AM
Hi, I like your program, but I'm having an issue with my EclipseMC API. One of my workers is showing as 0 MH/s, but the other one is accurate. I talked to the Eclipse Admin, and he thinks its the way you're calling the API in the app.

PM me if you need more info

You don't ship to Canada? Damn!

The worker thing I noticed for BTCmon specifically is that if you're doing PPS, the hashrate doesn't show up in BTCmon, but as soon as you set the worker to DGM, it shows up.

I have the feeling BlackPepper is running PPS.

Thanks a lot for doing that!

I tried it with my 6870, couldn't get it to go past 300 Mh/sec I'm gonna stick with phatk2 and my 320 Mh/sec
500  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: DiaKGCN kernel for CGMINER + Phoenix 2 (79XX / 78XX / 77XX / GCN) - 2012-05-25 on: July 22, 2012, 12:08:33 AM
I use phoenix 2.0.0, so this won't work.

With cgminer, I get 280 mhash/s(regardless of what kernel I specify) with Phoenix 2 and phatk2, I get 320 with my 6870. I want to see what your kernel will do on phoenix.
