@Kazuldur

When do you expect to launch r59?

(I didn't upgrade yet to 58.. but every upgrade taking me a bit time, so if 59 will come soon i can wait.. )

Couple days I hope, and it'll probably be mostly bugfix release (maybe we'll add one http://visualcaptcha.net/, but we're not sure yet).

What browser do you use? And which version?
Firefox 21... Haven't had any problems with other versions. Just the new one, r58.

That's quite old, you should consider updating it (the current version is ~40).

The new version encodes the settings before sending them to bypass XSS protections many hostings enforce. Looks like for some reason it doesn't work for you. I'll test it later and I hope fix will be available in r59.

Anyone else having problems with r58?

Thanks for the captchme-lib.php info Smiley

What happens when you click "Save changes"? The page reloads, but changes aren't saved? Or the page doesn't even reload (can you check your Javascript console in browser?)? Or maybe you see some error?
Sorry I reverted back to the previous version. The button just did not work. The page did not reload or anything.

What browser do you use? And which version?

The button "Save changes: does not work in the new version! Also you removed the CaptchMe.net, but forgot to remove the "captchme-lib.php" from libs folder. Just a heads up!

Thanks for the captchme-lib.php info Smiley

What is the problem whit FUNCAPTCHA mi sites are OFF LINE because have problems whit FUNCAPTCHA?

"funcaptcha.com 403 Forbidden Error Page

If you arrived here due to a search or clicking on a link click your Browser's back button to return to the previous page. Thank you.

IP Address: 172.31.**.**"

Same here. All FunCaptcha faucets DISABLED!

Hack?

Even their demo doesn't work: https://www.funcaptcha.com/demo/ .

No reason to think that's a hack, it's more likely that a deployment of a new version went wrong or something like that.

EDIT: looks like it's starting to work again, although it's slow as hell.

What method are you using for aws amazon blocking?

https://ip-ranges.amazonaws.com/ip-ranges.json

On a faucet list,I suppose the highest paying faucet should be on top of the list which is not the case.Is there any preferential treatment going on?.I suggest faucets be manually checked and the most rewarding one should make it to the top

The list is based on average daily payouts from faucet in last 48 hours. It worked good for first couple of months, but then faucet owners learned how to abuse it. We're slowly working on a list that'll be sorted based on user feedback.

It's not possible to keep such a big list up to date using manual checks. That would have to be the only thing we do and frankly we have much more important issues to figure out.

if i add and address to "List of cryptocurrency addresses to ban" it will also ban his Referrals ?

No, it won't ban his referrals. However he won't receive any referral payments either.

'Enable Get reward button after some time' should be in security tab no?

Why? It doesn't improve security in any way, it only forces user to keep your faucet open a little longer.

@Kazuldur I'm in f56, should I upgrade to 57?, a question? have you in 56 enable some antibots measures? I mean, after upgrading to 56 I misteryously recieved 2000 less visits from "USA", guess they were bots

Yes, you should. That's what the changelog says after all Smiley. There are no new antibot measures enabled by default in r56. Only what you can enable in the "Security" tab.

my "get reward" button always shows "toggle navigation" when I open it. What's problem?

Did you modify the templates in any way or added any HTML code to boxes in admin panel?
490  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetBOX.com Discussion on: September 18, 2015, 07:57:24 AM
What is new in version 57?

Reporting what changes should be made to template if it was customized or wasn't updated. So it'll say you to for example add a new script to template's <head> etc.

Except for that there's nothing new, only bug fixes, for example for errors in log with IP check server disabled or "hidden" inputs not being so hidden on some customized templates and browsers.

Hello, I install new version r57, and have this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in /home3/ab29736/public_html/gamesbtc.com/index.php on line 82

Anyone install new version?

Faucet in a BOX requires PHP 5.4 or newer. You have an older version. That said it should be easy to fix. Replace "[]" in line 82 with "array()".

Help. Can't download the script of the crane, says no connection. Thank you.

Where are you from? A few users reported that already and I'm trying to figure out what's the pattern...

Earlier today I updated to the latest version and now my error log is filling up with these.

There are 1500+ rows since I updated. Row 1234 in my index file is this one: function suspicious($server) {
    file_get_contents($server."report/".getIP());
}

Oops, sorry for that. To fix that temporarily, change this to:

Code:
function suspicious($server) {
    if($server)
        file_get_contents($server."report/".getIP());
}

How is the new antibot feature working? Should I select nastyhosts.com from the dropdown?

With nastyhosts.com selected it'll ask nastyhosts.com about the IP address of user before sending coins to him. If it's on the blacklist, it'll be denied.

There are many reasons for which you may want NOT to enable it and why it's not enabled by default:

1. you're sending your visitors IP addresses to 3rd party, they may not like it and I think that in some countries you may be forced to mention that in Privacy Policy...
2. it's a simple blacklist of known networks, so many will still get through
3. collateral damage may happen as real users may get denied
4. it increases the load on your server, as now it has to connect not only to FaucetBOX.com, but also to nastyhosts.com

So it's up to you whether you want to enable that feature or not.

@Kazuldur  im working on a custom Captcha that will kill all bots for good !  Ill will give to  you when done .

I look forward to it Smiley. We had an idea to create our captcha too, however we don't have enough time and resources Sad

Is there a delay with being added to the faucetlist page? https://faucetbox.com/en/list

I put my info into the promo section 3-4 days ago and it still says waiting approval...  Sad
My site is dailysatoshis.com

Yup, as far as I know they're delayed a lot and it'll take a while, sorry.
497  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetBOX.com Discussion on: September 14, 2015, 11:03:48 PM
Just FYI, here's something I've just found: https://i.imgur.com/NrOBHn1.png

It's a script that opens 3 faucets in one go, extracts the CAPTCHA (looks like it only uses Are you a human, which I think is the only captcha that doesn't verify the referrer) and shows only it to the user. It's not a bot, there's a real human solving the captchas, clicking "Get reward" and visiting new faucets, but it strips ads completely and allows to claim rewards really fast, so it will look like a bot in payouts history.

It's not possible to stop such abuse entirely, but I can make it harder by forcing the abuser to create a custom extension to the browser for this to work. I'll include that in Faucet in a BOX r57.
498  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetBOX.com Discussion on: September 14, 2015, 09:41:09 PM
No one got hacked... That's a check for bots. It's hidden (at least it should, if you can see it, please tell me what browser do you use), so normal user can't click it. If it's checked that means that a bot claimed a reward. There are also 2 other measures like that in r56, but don't talk about them so loud, we don't won't to make bot lives easier.

I'm using chrome.

That's weird, I don't see it on Chrome. Do you use any extensions like adblock, noscript or userstyles?

EDIT: I'll look into that further tomorrow. It's late here already Smiley

So downloaded new version r56 of faucetbox script from https://faucetinabox.com/en/download.

Look at this code below:

Code:
<div class="form-group">
<input type="text" name="address" class="form-control" style="position: absolute; left: -999px">
<input type="checkbox" name="honeypot" style="position: absolute; left: -999px">
<label class="col-sm-4 col-md-offset-1 col-lg-3 control-label">Your address:</label>
<div class="col-sm-8 col-md-7" style="min-width: 270px;">
<input type="text" name="<?php echo $data["address_input_name"]; ?>" class="form-control" value="<?php echo $data["address"]; ?>">
</div>

What is this checkbox?
Code:
<input type="checkbox" name="honeypot" style="position: absolute; left: -999px">

Did I get hacked or you?
No idea what this does.

It adds this checkbox on the left like on this faucet:
http://www.faucetfreebitcoin.com/

No one got hacked... That's a check for bots. It's hidden (at least it should, if you can see it, please tell me what browser do you use), so normal user can't click it. If it's checked that means that a bot claimed a reward. There are also 2 other measures like that in r56, but don't talk about them so loud, we don't want to make bot lives easier.

I'm interested in another question why put on faucet IP-Filter by country

CPM on ad networks differ between countries. Ad networks will pay better for a visitor from USA than a visitor from Zimbabwe, but a faucet without filtering will pay the same to both.

Not that I think it's fair though...
