481  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is the best time period in a day for Crypto trading??? on: September 06, 2017, 04:28:47 PM
The best time to trade is in the morning after China has done their thing. Sometimes they dump overnight, and you can wake up to some great deals.
482  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: September 06, 2017, 04:25:15 PM
I don't think, I know. It is a fact that many billionaires are invested in Bitcoin. Microsoft is rumored to be behind Ethereum, and Bill Gates is the richest man in the world (owner of Microsoft). If that doesn't answer your question then I don't know what will. hahaha
483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used by ordinary citizens? on: September 06, 2017, 03:24:05 AM
Bitcoin can not only be used by ordinary citizens - it was MADE for ordinary citizens. The purpose of Bitcoin is to allow normal people to be their OWN BANK. Hence the slogan of Blockchain.info... you get to control your own private keys and money in a way that has never been possible before, except by physical gold when that was actually used to buy things. And even physical gold pales in comparison to Bitcoin because it cannot be divided as easily whereas BTC can be divided into tiny fractions, allowing for perfectly accurate payments.
484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: September 06, 2017, 03:10:30 AM
I don't save bitcoin for fun Smiley . i save bitcoins and hold them until the value of bitcoins or the conversion increased high or even very high, so i could have a better or bigger amount of money if i need to. having this said, i also save bitcoin because my friends told me that i should and i should only convert it if the things that i will buy must be important. however, i challenged my friend to earn as much as possible and we will compare the earnings that we had until the end of the year. Cheesy

If you use Bitcoin to purchase something, I think this could be considered as "fun". I think what OP is asking is do you save your Bitcoin or spend it? Personally, I do both... I have bought some things and also sold Bitcoin, but also save it too.
485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: And now Vietnam to legalize Bitcoin on: September 06, 2017, 03:02:25 AM
Vietnam should only outlaw the crime involving BTC not the BTC itself

Did you not read the title? Vietnam is legalizing Bitcoin, not making it illegal. This is great news, and we should be celebrating.

With that said I agree that even fiat is used for crimes. The crime itself needs to get punished, not Bitcoin which has nothin to do with it other than the fact is is pseudo-anonymous.
486  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How To Spot A Bitcoin Scam on: September 06, 2017, 02:52:12 AM
Scams are often extremely hard to spot. I have got scammed before, and almost another time even with using escrow. Thankfully it was only $12 or so... not too much.  Undecided
487  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin or other coins on: September 06, 2017, 02:48:04 AM
There is a new coin out called DeepOnion which has some innovations over Monero (both are meant to be used to essentially guarantee anonymity for the dark web). I would suggest looking into it. The price is rallying hardcore.
488  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I cash out my BTC now? on: September 04, 2017, 08:57:50 PM
Right now the price is at an all time high. Ever heard the saying "buy low, sell high". Well, that should be enough explanation for you to know what you should do right now. Grin
489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin has enemy (except altcoin) what is it? on: September 04, 2017, 08:56:30 PM
Bitcoin's enemy is education of users. Most people, especially beginners struggle A LOT with learning how to buy and use Bitcoin. Teaching them how to do so is a major uphill battle. I am afraid if anything leads to the downfall of Bitcoin it would be this.
490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Moneyless Society on: September 04, 2017, 08:40:27 PM
This post has to be a joke. 100 mansions? LMAO

Do you know how hard and long it takes and the work required to build them? Do you think those workers *want* to do that? I don't think so. hahaha
491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto is dead! on: September 04, 2017, 08:38:12 PM
Has anyone read this article about How the NSA identified Satoshi Nakamoto, I'm not sure if this what have been said there is true but it's interesting how they collected and sorted that heavy data to identify someone or a group of people! I don't think Satoshi is dead, he/they are waiting for higher bitcoin price and move their coins!

The NSA probably have identified him. Why wouldn't they try, at least? I can almost guarantee you that they have been trying for a while. Satoshi now has a major influence, maybe the most influence of anyone on Earth.
492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why now is the time to invest in Bitcoin on: September 04, 2017, 08:36:12 PM
It would seem that Bitcoin is a volatile object of mystery, but the reality is that it (blockchain) is brand new technology that is already disrupting how we give and receive money across the globe. I can see the potential, yet also understand the risks.

Why do you think now a good time to invest in Bitcoin?

Now isn't the best time to invest in Bitcoin, actually. We are reaching the top of a bubble. It might have just burst, but I think it will recover and we will see over $5,000 before it happens. Probably $5,000-6,000.
493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to Face Reality in 2017 ... on: September 04, 2017, 08:25:47 PM
I do not think like this. Bitcoin will still be a digital currency in the future but it will have many legal rules to control and now bitcoin has got many big communities behind it. It's not easy to be dead.
That's right, In my opinion a bitcoin will still be there in the future with the great price.
and hopefully all the countries taking part to use it as a means of payment. I am very hope that.  Wink

Bitcoin is now slowly being accepted by countries like Philippines, Nigeria , Japan and others. Of course this acceptance will be followed by some legal conditions and policies so that illicit activities will not occur especially money laundering that will destroy the economic condition of a certain country. This rules and regulations including agency monitoring how bitcoin is used is a good sign that bitcoin is near the mainstream and those policies will protect us from scammers and hackers that are planning to take away our btc.

Even if there were regulations which made it harder to use Bitcoin, we would not stop and it would continue to live on. All we need is internet and a connection. Wallets can be connected over the TOR network to bypass government blocks (they already are - checkout Monero and DeepOnion!).

495  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: is blockchain.info broken ? 0 connected nodes on: August 31, 2017, 09:40:01 AM
Always remember blockchain.info is owned partly by Google. They invested $40,000,000 into it a few months ago. Any small issues like this are nothing to worry about. If it goes down permanently, I assure you it would cause huge turbulence in the community. Chances are it won't anytime soon... Tongue
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] Gold Cryptocurrency (GOLDC) - The Internet of Gold. Launched! on: August 26, 2017, 05:54:48 PM
Yeah this is not going to work. Bitcoin is already known as the gold of the internet, or virtual gold, and just because the name is Gold doesn't mean people are going to believe it. Sorry. Tongue

I can't believe this thread has almost 14,000 REPLIES. That is a hugeeeeeeee number, most threads don't even get 14,000 views. Cheesy

DeepOnion is the best ICO in the history of crypto so far. I want to be a part of it, hope to get accepted. *crosses fingers* Smiley

hello, sorry for my question because i'm new in deeponion. In my wallet , i have +0.008 ONION , but when I apply, it say that : Thank you applying. Your application is under review. So I have been accepted to receive the coin on 1/9 or not Huh If not, can anyone tell me how long does it takes for me to apply and How can i know that i will receive coin on 1/9 ?

You will be accepted once your application is reviewed, which will be before 9/1. I can tell you right now you still need to fix your signatures, needs to have your used ID from BTC instead of XXXX as referral.

Thank you bro for this. I had XXX in mine and just updated it with my ID. Smiley

500  Other / Archival / Re: Have you ever won a Jackpot? on: August 25, 2017, 04:13:22 PM
I am proud to say I have won many jackpots. The thing is most of them were on the smaller side, but let's face it s a jackpot is a jackpot, right? Usually it makes my day because I am always used to losing. When you finally win free money it feels amazing. MY recommendation to anyone looking to win jackpots is simply apply to every contest you can find because it increases your chances each time, obviously.
