481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos and gamblers are struggling with high tx fees.? on: January 05, 2024, 10:52:37 AM
I'm just wondering how crypto casinos are able to cope with this high Tx fees.. cus definitely, they'll have a decreased transaction rate.. anyways, I understand the fact that they've got so many ways to cover up whatsoever.. maybe digital sales? Etc.. that'd also equat atleast 11/3 of the usual influx.

do people still gamble with these high tx fees? Is the current congestion in the mempool a motivation to some set of gamblers? that they might likely get fortunate since alot of gamblers won't wanna evade the high fees??

Sandra 🧑‍🦰
Not sure with others but there are lots of casinos and lots of altcoins to use why only depending in Bitcoin? remember that this is about gambling in which we are playing to enjoy and win no matter what currency we are using?
good for me that i have always stocks of altcoins (not the big but enough to make me happy in gambling) so even congestion will never make me problematic to gamble.

Gamblers have a lot of choices so instead of getting frustrated with high fees they should choose other alternatives.

But if they decide to gamble using bitcoin for sure they might struggle for that and no other choice but to follow what recommended fees set by their wallet or else they will get a slow confirmation with that.

For sure same as you lots of gamblers have alternative coins to use since fees for bitcoin is much crazier since if we encounter a pump high fees comes together that's why when I game I choose those alts because if I choose to deposit bitcoin I feels like I already lost considering those fees that we need to settle.
482  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why does the halving increase the price? on: January 04, 2024, 01:50:09 PM

- Why would people invest loads of money in BTC after the halving and not before?

I don't know whether you have data to proof that people actually buys more Bitcoin after halving? From my experience and observation I think that people buys more Bitcoin before halving, because when halving is happening Bitcoin supply is cut into half, meaning that the scarcity will make price to increase. So ideally people will know that it's more profitable to buy before halving, knowing that after it that price will keep increasing till it hits ATH. So correct me if I'm wrong, because this is mainly based on my personal observation.

Actually that is happening when hype is going to happen that's why we see a lot of people got FOMO at that time since they don't want to be left behind on the event happening that's why we can assume that more buy orders really happen when halving happen plus other contributing factor is the greed feeling is high for people at that time that maybe the reason why bitcoin pump when halving.

We may not know the 100% accurate answer with this but what it shown right now that when halving came to many people discuss about positive things to happen with bitcoin that's why to many people are convince to buy and hold. But let see what will happen for this year halving since we can speculate if there's something good will happen or we will see different condition right now and bitcoin will remain like this despite of this long time event awaited by a lot of people.
483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Buying More Tickets To Increase Your chances on: January 04, 2024, 12:07:43 PM
Remember that lottery has its purpose especially since that one is run by state, proceeds will be use for the development of the country, so buying a lottery is a way of supporting that mission. Don't expect much, just play for fun ,if you are lucky you will, but it buying more doesn't change your luck.
Actually, we don't have to buy more lottery tickets because it depends on our ability and the money we have. After all, everything comes back to luck, right? People who have a few tickets can even win the lottery, so why should they buy lots of lottery tickets just because it is run by the state? who get taxes from that lottery, but unfortunately in my country it doesn't support gambling and lotteries because it is considered illegal.

Many tickets do not necessarily have many chances because basically games like this only rely on luck without any skills as long as you have enough money, buying a few lottery tickets is more than enough, I once heard a story about my friend winning the lottery and he only had a few tickets there, proving that lots of tickets not much chance of winning either.

It depends to a perspective and status of a person, if they have a means to buy a lot of lottery ticket then it will not be an issue and as a matter of fact, many people are doing that in our country especially those who really loves buying lotto tickets, as in everyday they bought tickets and betting in the same numbers. But for me, even that I have the means to buy many tickets, I choose not to, because it's not practical for me and I believe that if luck is really for me, even if I only bet on one ticket, I will win. I don't need to spend a lot and expect to win.
I also think that if luck favors me, I won't have to buy more tickets. There are many people who believe in lottery tickets and buy a lot of lotteries. I don't know how lucky a man can be if he buys more lotteries. Because the amount of lottery tickets are very high. Also, if a person does not buy a lot of lottery tickets, he will not get the guaranteed winning ticket. As a result, he may face a big loss. But depending on luck if someone buys a lottery then he should not have any personal problem but he can buy lottery regularly. I think one should not take big risk by buying more lotteries.

That's the reason why its not necessary to buy a lot of tickets since if luck is not on our side for sure those bought tickets will just be useless since we can be defeated by those people which only acquire single or few tickets.

So its not good to waste our money for doing that since the chances still the same.

Also if we came to the point where we came on that situation which we think that buying a lot of tickets will be more beneficial to us and we spend a lot of money just for that I think we need to check ourselves since we might didn't notice that we are slowly falling into addiction state.
484  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: January 04, 2024, 11:08:20 AM
I agree with you but there is nothing to do when the market suddenly crashes after you invest. Today suddenly the market has crashed so much that after investing I suddenly entered the market and saw a big fall in this case I did not get enough opportunity to do market analysis. Those who want to invest right now can definitely invest in this DIP market and wait for the next Bullrun.

Market now temporarily Crashed, Do Your Own Research (DYOR)
Yup, with these crashes all of a sudden. The market is still giving them opportunity to buy and hold. Because when the price is quite high, all they do is complain that they can't buy it anymore as it is already expensive. But they can still buy even with that price but the quantity of Bitcoin they'll able to get is lesser.

So, with the market crash. Everyone is saying that it is about the latest ugly news about someone's speculation that ETF won't do shit on this market and SEC won't give a go.

Whoever made that news sees that people are still too emotional when some unexpected news like that comes out.
Even why the price has dropped to this level some people won't still buy, they will be waiting to see if the price will fall more than this.
Some people are expert in making some bad news so that there will be panic in the market and people will start selling off, why they will be buying. Only newbies won't understand this tricks. But as an old investor who understands the game that's being played here, it's to buy while others are selling. Moreover Bitcoin will be here and will keep performing with or without the SEC giving it a go. The most important thing is to benefit from this dip by accumulating more.

You speak like an OG.. but your registration is ONLY since the beginning of October.. .. so when did you start accumulating bitcoin?.. How are you planning to play this cycle?  What is your plan?  What is your BTC holdings going to look like in 4-6 years?  I know it can be difficult to project out that far, but at least many of us can attempt to project out for a year, and part of how we project might also be based on what we did in the past .. the last year, the last few years, and then what is our current situation.. how aggressive are we able to be in terms of our BTC accumulation, and do we even have discretionary income and how is that going to change into the future. which is partly based on the past, present and then our projections of how we believe the future might play out.

That means he's not new on cryptocurrency and maybe he's away in this forum for long time then just recently discover this good place then decide to stay here. Since see a lot of cryptocurrency dude outside of this forum participating on trading and any crypto related activities but when I asked them if they are familiar with this forum the say no. Its surprising but we know there's a lot of them exist.

Its really difficult to project since we don't know the possible outcome since the only thing we do is to speculate base on the events to come but atleast we try to take our participant to look on what will happen in future. Also I guess the aggression to accumulate will always depend on the budget of each people since they might became more aggressive when there's a fund to spend.

But what good thing is we have good insights about what might happen in future and its up to the people now on how they play their role also how they can accumulate base on their allocated budget for investment.
485  Economy / Gambling / Re: TrustDice's x5 wager requirement only applies to the 1st deposit on: January 04, 2024, 06:01:58 AM
Your term about 5x wagering requirement for the 1st deposit only can bring another question that you should also clarify. How if players failed to wager 5x their 1st deposit? Since you said here that there is no wagering requirement at all for the 2nd and next deposits, will players be allowed to withdraw their 2nd deposit without wagering requirement while they failed to wager 5x their 1st deposit? If it is allowed then what is the main purpose of having 5x wagering for the 1st deposit only? I can say it is useless because players may deposit minimum amount on their 1st deposit, lost it all then they can play freely in the next deposits and maybe they can just deposit-place one bet then withdraw it back because there is no wagering requirement for 2nd deposit.

I guess this thread is for clarification regarding on the recent thread created by other people here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5479784.0 which he got confused and disappointed about the wager requirement by trustdice.

And since Coinbox already give a clarification regarding on the wager requirement I think there will be no further question ask with that.

Also I find it good implementation since I think they made that rule so that trustdice will be away to any illegal activities such money laundering and other more.
486  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HODL is purely a mental challenge on: January 03, 2024, 02:40:44 PM
Holding one's own investments for a long period of time is quite a mental challenge for an investor. Not all investors can take this mental challenge and those who can take this mental challenge may hold their investments for a long time. Every investor faces challenges in holding investments for long periods of time. Due to the volatility of the market many times the amount of investment falls drastically and it frustrates an investor and at that time the investor mistakenly decides to sell his investment. On the other hand, due to some positive changes in the market, if there is some profit in the investment, the investor thinks of selling his investment at that time. Investors who can take on these challenges of not selling their investments in bad times and holding onto their investments when there are gains can ultimately hold their investments.

Its really a huge mental challenge since imagine how many bearish condition we could experience that provably scare us and also many negative news that can change our stand towards continue to hodl  for sure a lot of people cannot last long for having those issues. But for people who experience enough the worse and good things happened on the market for sure they can ignore those negative conditions since they are tough and their decision cannot be change by any other circumstances. Volatility can really frustrate people that's why before going into this things much really better for a person that they should equip first with the knowledge since everything in crypto is really stressful especially if they don't know how to handle their investment and their decision making towards on current happening so their stand towards holding will not be changed.
487  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: January 03, 2024, 01:14:18 PM
@Hospiljok has been bringing forth his issue frequently in this thread since the last couple of months despite members telling him that his hard work in this regard is useless, but I understand his frustrations.

He is just prolonging his suffering sadly since the 1xbit team aren't even checking this thread regularly. Sad!

Sad to read that since actually its really frustrating to lose some amount on the casino which you think can deliver well. But sadly as he already see those feedback from a lot of people here maybe he should start to move on and start to warn those people they know that got an interest to gamble in this casino so that he can save those people not to get scam by 1xbit. For seeing that there are still people got compromise here we can still say that they are not stopping this kind of act and provably if there's no warning from people who knows more their reputation for sure there's more people like him will come in this thread then say about they are scam by this casino again.

People need to research and understand that there's nothing good happening here.
488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many individual holders of Bitcoin are there? on: January 03, 2024, 09:42:35 AM
Is there some metric or study somewhere that could let us know how many individuals (individual humans) currently hold Bitcoin as an asset? Are there any metrics that could approximate the number? Estimate change over time?

I would think this would be a key metric in understanding the market.

Been done a quick research regarding on your question ask and find this article https://www.techopedia.com/cryptocurrency/how-many-people-use-bitcoin

its really interesting to know that figures since we could see how wide the bitcoin market worldwide and maybe from that statistics we can see the government can consider about possible adoption since they will be the one will get benefited for possible revenue it can generated.

But I don't think this will be the key to understand the market if you mean on possible profitability for trading it since its just a statistic and we don't know how those people move since we don't know how people use their bitcoins.
489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you care about what people say about you gambling? on: January 03, 2024, 08:28:48 AM
It is a disease of our society that when we are connected with something, we will say something bad to people from behind. I don't really care if they keep talking about it. Yes, sometimes when I lose your self -control, maybe two things say one thing. But that does not mean that I care about their words very much.

each person has a different response. we may be indifferent to what other people say about our gambling. but if we live in a pretty bad environment with several people who often talk about us. maybe we will say something harsh to those who comment too much.
It would be better to avoid conflict because of things like that. but we will not be free from problems if our environment cannot be friendly to what we do.
So, as much as possible, don't publish what we do. including our gambling.

The thing there is we should not accept their opinion if we think that it doesn't give any sense nor contribute something on our well being. If they just criticize us for what we are doing without knowing more deeper about it then I guess much better to ignore those people and settle up yourself or those people give more valuable advices.

We surely know how to deal with our hobbies and if we make them understand that we are fine and just gamble for fun for sure there's no toxicity or conflict will happen. Also don't flaunt all your activities online or even everywhere so that we cannot catch those unwanted attentions. If we think our environment is not doing good for us then maybe its time for us to leave that and find another thing that can give us peace since mental health is important.
490  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin - Contentment / Addiction on: January 02, 2024, 11:21:02 PM
At what degree of Bitcoin accumulation is one said to be contented, if keep wanting can it be termed addiction

Becoming a Bitcoin owner is one of the sweetest achievements a person will want.
In other to purchase this Bitcoin it is either we deploy strategies in getting it, might be by Dcaing or buying wholesomely from the DIP.

If you are contented on what you have then the possible profit you can get is limited that's why its really more better to acquire as lot as you can since this gives us more positive result.

And can't call it as addiction since it can benefit us well especially if from this we can earn a huge profits so this is good hobby or activity that we can participate since we can get good result at the end of the day.

Becoming an owner of some volume is really a sweet achievement since its like we have share of its future growth and we can do a lot of it but we need to do good decision making to make it grow. But its important for us to know what we can afford for since if we can do DCA then fine as long as we are earning a profit but if we are into hodl then for sure lots of things we experience and also for sure its more rewarding than any other strategy to use.

491  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: January 01, 2024, 12:46:00 PM
Actually most player losses in their year long gambling session.  The reason for that is that many of us are not satisfied with little winnings and aim for the bigger one even though we already had a nice start.  Many of us keep on playing trying to win more instead of stopping and pocket the small winnings.  This frequently ends in an empty bankroll.  Reason why more players losses.

I think we should not discuss about losses here, it's not a good way to start a year. Come on guys! Let's be optimistic, we are here to win and we should be positive at the start of the year. If you like to make a more detailed discussion about that, you can bring it to the "gambling discussion" board, lots of topic related to that in there.

Well maybe if this is relevant to the discussion I think this topic is also good to discuss since there's a lot of things need to learn from. Also I assume its fine to discuss that matter in this thread if they play on Duelbits and that scenario happened there.

But if it came to the point that they just discuss about other nonsense thing and not actually give any contribution to the thread then maybe the gambling section board will be the right place for people to talk about their experiences on a gambling site for trying anything that they think gives them more better angle to win.

Anyways its also good to see different type of discussion as long as it has something to do with duelbits since people would provably like to engage on something interesting information's or topics they read.

493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online or offline gambling which is more safer? on: January 01, 2024, 07:11:04 AM
Sometimes people are always addicted to playing gambling online and this has made them loss alot of funds, due to always topping up theire casino account with there debit card when they loose. and this usually makes them exhaust all there funds.

While those people playing offline in casino halls play with only the little money they have at hand, and that will reduce the risk of over spending. So now my question is this

Playing online or offline gambling which is more preferable in terms of risk reduction?

The risk still the same since people could add up their desired amount if they want to continue to gamble. Online and offline is the same but what online gambling site can offer to us is personal security since we don't need to go on different places bring some cash on hand. While playing on offline casino where the risk is high especially if there's lot of people know that we always bring money whatever places we go especially if we give a hint that we are going to gamble on a popular casino.

Remember that any places have high risk of losing a lot of money since temptation is there and we could be influence to deposit more since there are people will taunt us to do it or even we still like to gamble since we are not yet satisfied with what we do on those offline or online casino.

Both have pros and cons and it depends on the gambler how he will handle himself on this matter.
He will spend money anywhere he wants that's why it doesn't matter whether it is offline or online.
The desire of the gambler to gamble depends on his current mood, goals or financial capability.
And when it comes to security, it is his prerogative how to take care of this aspect in gambling.

That's why its incomparable if we talk about security since both have same level of risk and as you discussed it will vary depend on how we can handle ourself since risk is always there whatever option we choose by choices given by OP.

Also maybe the right question to be ask is what people do prefer in terms of giving more exciting vibes or feelings between those two since provably we can say that offline casino will be the best with that since atmosphere is different there.

But since its not in the choices then I guess we answered already the question asked by OP.
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Top 3 Altcoins of 2023? on: December 31, 2023, 02:08:00 PM
2023 is about to end in a few hours. We will now enter 2024 with huge motivation to make good money from trading. Hence, it will be great if we all share our top picks of the past year (2023) with all the members here. For me, the top 3 coins that impressed me in 2023 were Matic, XRP, and BNB. Now,  what was your favorite this year? Let’s hope that in 2024 we make double the money that we made in 2023. Let's hope for the best and wish everyone a happy new year in advance.

Always go for XRP,BNB and Doge since this provides a low fee transaction especially at the moment there's a huge problem happening since network is so congested and fees on each transaction we made is so high.

That's why this is my top altcoins choices since we all know that this could provide on what we are looking for a coin and then on bull run discussion this three coins will surely not left behind since they would create some price rally especially when bitcoin bull run is going to happen.

For sure there's a lot of people will choose this tokens since for what we are experiencing for sure they would go to those people who can explain well about those things that they want to discuss to anyone listening to them.
495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin stability important? on: December 31, 2023, 12:35:17 PM
I think promoting Bitcoin stability is partly a matter of avoiding the Alcoin crisis, major changes in cryptocurrency activity, high inflation and excessive volatility, and the Alcoin market. Volatility can increase uncertainty, hinder investment, hinder growth in Alcocent.
What is your opinion?

So what we can do with our bitcoin if this became stable? Just use it for transaction? We already have bank do that since they adopt the changes or demand on the market. So for sure there will be less interest for bitcoin goes stable. Bitcoin is design to be a good investment for people seeking opportunity to earn with this coin that's why there's a lot of people got attracted to it since they see that there's huge potential for them to earn on market volatility of bitcoin.

We know there's a lot of guys out there got frustrated about its volatility nature but if they could just learn to do a research and get a lot of knowledge from it gor sure they can get the best result for acquiring bitcoin even if they know the market is so volatile.

Does anyone know where I can find the list of winners from the last Christmas Raffle draws? The Christmas event page on Duelbits has already been removed. I checked their Twitter, but it is not there as well.

Did they not post the list of winners? Is it only available to view during their live stream? I wasn't able to watch it because it's already late in the evening.

I managed to complete the required number of gifts, but it seems that I wasn't selected, even for the main draw. I read on Twitter that someone won with just a few tickets (less than 10, if I remember correctly). That's lucky, isn't it?

Hi Eureka_07,

We have emailed all the winners. If you haven't received an email, I'm afraid none of your tickets were picked Sad  But no worries, we've got more exciting stuff lined up for the New Year! Smiley

You can rewatch the live draw here: https://kick.com/video/4d7f895b-36d8-4c86-8cdf-079f8ba275e9

It's totally not rare to see users with just a few tickets coming out as winners in the draws. That's the charm of letting a random generator do its thing, right? Gotta love the randomness of it all, I suppose! Smiley

Sending you good vibes from the Duebits Team!  Good luck next time!  Cheesy

congratulations to all the winners , Have not received any Email meaning ? lol I'm not one of those  Cheesy having few tickets will never bring me luck because Im not really good at events such this even in real life , but its happy that i partaken the Christmas Raffle showing my respect and support to the team and my co gamblers in Duelbits.
looking forward for the newyear blast  guys and also Happy new year to the whole Duelbits team , Of course to our best Manager @Hhampuz may we have more success in business .

Having few tickets is better than nothing since you give a shot to win on their raffle but don't feel bad about it since as being said there's still more to come then you or shall we say we can partake on that event and try our luck next time. Since the more we join the more chance we win so don't feel bad about that lose since what's more important their is we feel the thrill then feel the excitement while waiting the possible result. But although its sad that  we didn't receive a mail contain that we are one of the winners still its fine since we give a shot trying to get those win.

There are times that we are not so lucky and there are times that we are so maybe next time good favor comes with us then win so consistency still important to have chance to win here.
498  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HODL is purely a mental challenge on: December 30, 2023, 01:31:29 PM
It takes a lot of courage to hodl in the face of Bitcoin price going up and down and I won't blame those who cave in when things get hard because as the Op clearly stated, there's just so much the mind can take, but I feel it's more blessed and rewarding to hodl than to sell Grin. The expectations most bitcoiners have of the event of the Bitcoin halving is to me enough reason to continue hodling.

The prices of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are very volatile but the best approach to raking in more profits is when you don't panic and sell just because you feel the market is crashing. To me panic sell defeats the purpose of hodling.

Sure it really not easy to Hodl due to the market fluctuations but however, a good trader needs to be very hopeful that the future holds more goodies than now so it is advisable not to be afraid of the uncertainty of the future of Bitcoin because so far as cryptocurrencies are concerned, bitcoin being a more volatile asset will continue to conquer and dominate the activities of all other cryptocurrencies.

Being hopeful is not enough for a trader since if they don't bring any good knowledge and experience regarding on what decision they want to do for sure all will fail since those trader can mentally caught up by some challenges they faced and might get affect for some condition that they didn't yet experience then dump their bought coins.

Bitcoin is really a volatile asset that's the reason why its important for us to know the risk and do some research regarding its past and possible future trajectory since for that for sure that if we plan to hodl for sure we can make it then we can surpass those trials like bear market which is actually a huge threat for a persons decision to continue to hodl.

There's huge future about it if people could just have long patience enough and have strong belief about good thing to happen in future.

You can check more about Fairdicebot at the website below.

Website: Fairdicebot

If there's no BTC option in deposit method then much better if you move this thread in altcoin section board since I think this is the correct section where you can post this announcement.

Also a fair suggestion if you are the representative fairdicebot is to create a good thread since its like you are offering a cheap service here if you just post a thread just like this. Also better grab a copper membership to post some image so people could see and maybe got attracted to what you are trying to offer since as said for many times. First impression is always important especially for those business owners want to launch their businesses here and posting like this will never bring any good impression at all.

What brought you to Bitcoin? How much of it have you accomplished? For me, it is the desire to earn a living off the internet without the encumbrances of a 9-5 job and having clients from all over the world pay me for my services without the limitations and regulations of fiat (a pity Bitcoin is being fiercely regulated too). I wouldn't say that I have accomplished that since I still support my earnings with "regular" jobs. I like the liberty of being in control of my time and how I work though I still have not gained that liberty completely. Nevertheless, I believe that with the plans I've implemented, being completely free from a 9-5 or "regular" is possible in 2 years.

What brought you to Bitcoin and how much of it have you accomplished?

Curiosity about darkweb and everything about it what makes me bring into this industry then afterwards I love what I discover since this totally change a lot especially on investment matter since by bitcoin earning opportunity available online I can say that I earn much on it compare to my 9-5 job I worked before. I can't say my exact figures achieve on bitcoin but all I can say that I manage to quit my job and put up some good business which generate me a passive income right now.

Its really good to know bitcoin especially that we have good community here where we can communicate people and their interest since we can ride up with the methods discuss and somehow earn with it since discussions made here all have sense compare to any misleading information we can get on other platforms.
