486  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hello all, I have a proposition... on: January 04, 2013, 01:17:54 AM
go here https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Buying_bitcoins
Hold ctrl+f
Type in the short code for your local curency (USD GBP AUD etc.)
Hit enter until you find one you like. I'm sure that there is more than one that facilitates your currency.

Hope this helped.

Buying bitcoin isn't really the problem though, it is more withdrawing the cash isn't it? Since intersango stopped it has been problematic for many people... Or am I missing something?

Maybe try doing your trading on here. When you get out of Noob Jail put a post in the currency exchange for Neteller or something along those lines that you can use. I am no professional in the international realm just trying to lend what knowledge I have.

Have a nice day

It should earn him a scammer tag. Mods may not have noticed it yet. Or maybe they're not bothering since it seems like he created the account and ran off shortly after.

Alright I was just wondering why on earth they had't. But between the fact of the $7 scam, and the fact he hasn't logged in since placing the trade and all that makes since.
489  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: .5 BTC LOAN on: January 04, 2013, 12:59:49 AM
Ah didn't notice that.
Oops sorry. Does this not earn him a scammer tag, even though it was only 0.5BTC it's still a scam right?
490  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: .5 BTC LOAN on: January 04, 2013, 12:45:06 AM
BTC I need to borrow .5 BTC until tomorrow when Coinbase.com will allow me to confirm my banking account and i will be able to purchase bitcoins,

I understand risk involved in this transaction and i will pay back a full bitcoin, i just really need 1/2 BTC for this evening.

Thank you for this consideration.

I have spoke with Declan, and I am loaning him/her BTC0.5, with BTC1.00 to be paid back within 48 hrs (02:30 UTC 2-1-13) to 1PkAfhdQy8jzpWx8fammwdN5CRW4sCrfCx

I just need your Bitcoin address and I'll send immediately!

Kinda wondering if this user ever paid you back?
Just curious

Why is your site hosted on Vistaprint?

Our site is not hosted on Vistprint Huh

It is. Might want to check into your webspace reseller.
Technically he's hosted by webs.com.

BTC4Amazon, the parent company of webs.com is indeed vistaprint. I have known that company since well before they switched owners and names.

Just updated this when you informed me on skype,
Thanks

Sorry, I was informed by a pal of mine that Vista Print is a parent company to my host. So, yes the website is hosted by "vistaprint" does that make it any less real than one that isn't?

I'll take that bet.  How much?
Let me know the terms and the amount.  How about 100 BTC and you win 2:1 if he gets a scammer tag in the next 60 days?

(PS I know him personally and he could have already scammed me out of $800 and didn't so I am pretty sure I will win.)

Thanks D&T

Also, I have stated once before in this forum https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=133935.0 you will see some people have opted to post feedback about our services.
It has all been positive, Plus The statement quoted above.

Why does your site feature no real adress of your "company"?
As stated by D&T no P.O Box is set up yet

Quote
Why is your domain registered through a proxy registrar?
I was instructed the ebst bet was to hide the whois for now. Will release in a little while when business has shown profitable enough to procure P.O Box Etc.

What is a Buisness as referenced in your tagline "Thank you for your Buisness!"?
This refers to those who have entrusted us to do "Business" with them.

Quote
Why do you call BTC4Amazon "a group of people" when it is you and a guy who may help out from time to time?
This is the way I sign things, I'm sorry if this opposes you in some way.

Quote
Why is none of your forms encrypted in any way?
Not quite positive what you are looking for here, We offer PGP encryption, or if you are referring to our site we have not had the time or the money to implement higher security but if you do not trust our current options please use this forum to contact me and I will be more than happy to help.

Quote
Why does your site have no identity verification?
We offer a quick and clean service without the need to get detailed personal information if this creates a problem we will change it at that time.
