My target is 100 BTC. It will be sold immediately for that.

lol
Thanks for your usefull posting.

Like described: offers accepted!
483  Local / Biete / Re: [Verkaufe] Bitmine.ch Avalon 4 Module Clone Batch 2 on: July 28, 2013, 10:46:30 AM
wie gesagt, ich bin für angebote offen.
484  Local / Biete / Re: [Verkaufe] Bitmine.ch Avalon 4 Module Clone Batch 2 on: July 28, 2013, 09:18:30 AM

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=263469.0

Danke!

Hi!

I'm thinking about selling my bitmine.ch Avalon Clone Batch 2.

Order: #345
Avalon ASIC Unit – Clone (#ASIC-AVALON-CLONE-4)
Hash Module: 4 Modules (85 Ghs) [6780$],
Your own Avalon ASICs: I DONT HAVE Avalon CHIPS
$259 via DHL Worldwide Express

No PSU included.
Escrow possible. I will arrange the change of delivery address with bitmine.ch. After it is changed both of you (winner, escrow) will get a notification from bitmine.
BTC preferred.

Any offers?

Just use the green power connector (name?) to chain them. 1 PCIe for 2 boards or 3 (depending on oc).
I will use burnins EVGA 1kW PSU from his shop for 10 XX. It should provide the whole 1kW through PCIe.

due to burins possible output per week (~1000 boards) this chaos doesn't make sense. inside one batch there is a time difference from about 3 days between first and last.
easiest way: group buy OPs sends list of names due to time of ordering. maybe they have already done this list.

this should be no.1! if there is a huge difference between delivery from batch 1 and 6 for e.g. why should someone from batch 6 should get chips from batch 1?!

this went really bad. hope for clean restart.

Neat little display, but I think the rPI attaches to the m-board using the same plug that the display uses.

Yep, you are right. It uses the GPIO connector/header.
ah ok, damn.
494  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Work in progess] Burnins Avalon Chip to mining board service on: July 16, 2013, 08:18:55 PM
power distribution boards will be very usefull (for 24pin ATX and 4/8pin mobo) including on/off switch.
another question: is it problematic when several rails are chained together? maybe chain them all together like:
input: 24p ATX + 4/8p mobo + all available pcie --> output: 10-15x 6p pcie
495  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Work in progess] Burnins Avalon Chip to mining board service on: July 16, 2013, 04:54:54 PM
maybe there is a small temp. difference inside the avalon chip at the IC between AC and WC -> same surface temps but different performance. if an IC is working at his limit just a few degree will matter.
496  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Custom Case Design for Bitfury Miners on: July 15, 2013, 10:32:35 PM
my first impressions/thoughts:

4) including a cutout or two for status LEDs or even a LCD would be cool. (I dont know if bitfury designed either of these into its hardware, but surely the RPi software can be modified to output status indicators)

I would really suggest to make a rack mountable case. Anyone who wants to stack them should buy a 19" rack.
There are small ones available too, like this 7HE.

I think the easiest way is to start building the case with something like that (already posted above):
Just get a front and bottom plate and you are done. Cheap and perfect for racks.

498  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Work in progess] Burnins Avalon Chip to mining board service on: July 11, 2013, 02:25:47 PM
Good news.

Is the watercooling made of copper or aluminum? Any thoughts on price range for that? Hope it's cheap.. otherwise you force me to do my own  Embarrassed
Aluminium, its optimized for cost. (2 Boards per cooler)
It will be around 50eur, 10 to 15 eur more then with air cooling per board.

Regarding the release of the sources:
I am going to release them when the first units reach the customers.
Have to recuperate the development- and running costs.  Undecided

Paypal is problematic but i'll risk it with them.
To stop my EU-Customers from choosing it over normal wire transfers:
Order date/time will (within reason) now be the determining factor (within a batch).

Quick question, what will be missing when we order water cooled boards?

Pump, radiator and radiator fans, anything i am missing?
maybe a small coolant reserve tank to get the air out and for easy refilling. (fittings, hose).

I think it makes more sense to design a bitfury PCB instead one for BFL chips.
