Is there a reliable website for soccer predictions?
No, there is no such thing as a reliable website for soccer predictions or anything like that. I suggest you to do your own research if you want to bet on soccer matches. Those who bets by following the predictions always face huge losses, and for your own safety it's better to do your own research before placing any bets.

There are some free and some paid websites that give you the predictions and I have also seen some discord servers that also give predictions, but I would still say that you may DYOR, which's much better for you as a sports better. However, if you still want to join such servers and websites then you may do that at your own risk, and I won't suggest you any of those here.
482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Countdown to the 4th Bitcoin halving.. what should we expect? on: March 26, 2024, 07:06:26 PM
~Snip~
So to me now it is a universal period to all cryptocurrency.
Yes, I agree with you, the Bitcoin halving is not an event which helps only Bitcoin to gain value and attention from new investors but it's an event where other crypto-currencies also get attention of the investors and due to that the whole crypto-market starts gaining capital.

It either starts the bull run or makes it more intense, and if we check the history then we can get an idea that how useful the halving event has been for the growth of Bitcoin and overall crypto-market. I'm quite sure that we will see some good values of altcoins as well just because of Bitcoin halving event.
483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Upon the death of a bitcoin user. on: March 26, 2024, 06:50:05 PM
If no one knows about someone's investment in Bitcoin and that someone dies then no one will be able to get the Bitcoin which the investors bought, but if the investor has kept those Bitcoin in his personal wallet and left a keynote about it the private keys and seed phrase then his loved ones could access and sell those Bitcoin.

I'm not sure about Bitcoin that's kept in custodial wallets of the exchanges, but I believe if someone has kept his/her Bitcoin in those custodial wallets and he/she dies then his/her family members may get access to those funds after exchange's team verify them. However, I don't know much about it, so it would be hard to say anything with 100% accuracy.
484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Innovative methods or technologies" on: March 26, 2024, 06:13:36 PM
What innovative methods or technologies do you foresee emerging within the Bitcoin ecosystem over the next decade to enhance both its scalability and environmental sustainability, while maintaining its core principles of decentralization and security?
The first thing that I believe will emerge within Bitcoin ecosystem within next decade is the wide acceptance of this crypto-currency in many countries. The ETFs will play their role in helping Bitcoin to reach that goal.

From environmental point of view, I don't think we may see much changes, but if most of the mining farms shift to solar energy then that would be a good progress but still it won't be of much help because overtime we will have more powers ASIC miners that may consume more energy.

485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you ever be able to buy stocks in Web3 ? on: March 26, 2024, 06:00:23 PM
I think it's not possible to do that right now and even if it becomes possible after sometime, I will still try my best to avoid investing in stocks via Web3 platforms. I believe traditional brokers are still a good option for us and we should stick with those if we want to be safe.
486  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My opion and btc outlook for the next 2 years. on: March 25, 2024, 11:28:13 PM
No, this is a wrong conclusion) As a rule, altcoins bring their investors a greater profit than a Bitcoin hold, but such investments can be very risky. However, the price of Bitcoin has increased 5 times from its last low, while the price of Sol has increased 13 times.
I agree with you, altcoins can be much profitable for the investors due to their small marketcap as compare to that of Bitcoin, but they'll always be a risky choice for the investors. Well, it's a common saying that when there's no risk then there's no reward.

There are many altcoins that could potentially go more than 13 times in value while there are also the ones that could go zero in value and that's why I believe that investing in altcoins isn't a good choice if the investors isn't sure about the outcome.

I have kept a small percentage of my capital for altcoins and I have made my mind that even if the altcoins that I have bought go zero in value then still that won't affect me to a huge degree. It's like I kept those aside without any attachment whatsoever, and I believe every altcoin investors should have a similar mindset when they are trying to invest in altcoins.
487  Economy / Speculation / Re: My instincts on the value of bitcoin from now to halving on: March 25, 2024, 11:13:00 PM
We are not yet sure that it's the last rise or there would be other rises before halving event but I'm quite sure that the price of Bitcoin will be very volatile during this halving event and there's chance to see many ups and downs during these days.

I'm think that during the halving event the price of Bitcoin would be over $70k, but it could be higher as well. I don't expect to see the price of Bitcoin below $70k during the halving event, however, I'm quite sure that there will be many ups and downs before the halving event.
488  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving don't make wealth on: March 25, 2024, 10:00:05 PM
Yes, that is true, if someone already has enough money then saving is not the right solution but rather investing. For example, in the case of several people in my area, when the harvest season arrives, the money they collect is immediately transferred to gold, this is certainly a good action to maintain the value so that it will not decline.
Yes, I think you're actually right, when someone already has enough money then it's far better to go with investing then saving. The people of your area who are investing in gold are doing the right thing because fiat can lose value overtime but gold is known to gain value and thus it's much better to purchase gold or invest fiat into gold to protect the value of it and also gain some profits.

489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Countdown to the 4th Bitcoin halving.. what should we expect? on: March 25, 2024, 09:34:49 PM
What's your take on this? How excited are you for this halving, and what's your prediction for BTC price movements?
I believe that halving event is one of the most important aspects of Bitcoin and it has contributed a lot to the growth of Bitcoin. Like most others, I also believe that the halving event will allow Bitcoin to grow in value because when the number of mined bitcoins are reduced to half then that somehow creates scarcity and because of scarcity the value of Bitcoin grows overtime.

Bitcoin's price won't be affected to huge degrees during the halving events if we see the history of it, but this time due to the ETFs, I believe the value of Bitcoin will grow during the halving event. I think that Bitcoin may reach $75k value during the halving event this time. However, I also think that it may reach or cross $80k value if a new rally takes place.

I would like to know how people typically manage to balance their offline and online work, and how I can adjust to this.
First of all welcome back to the forum, it's not an easy task to have balance of offline and online work. Most of us have jobs that we have to perform on daily basis in offline world while we still manage to give our time to the online activities. I believe it all depends on smart work and discipline.

I have a job where I work 6+ hours on daily basis, only Sunday is off day, while I also do my best to spend at least 4+ hours to online work or on the forums on daily basis. I can do that because I have installed in my mind that both online and offline work is part of our lives and we have to give our best to both of those.

When you make your mind then you can do whatever you want to do. It's all about thinking my friend, if you can make your mind into a thing then it will start getting easier for you. I don't go for picnics very often due to my work but still I'm happy as I'm following my passion which is to work as hard as possible.
491  Other / Meta / Re: Icopress ' Merit Source Application 🚩 on: March 24, 2024, 08:24:51 PM
We are in agreement here, that is what he seems to be doing however he also voiced his opposition to icopress becoming merit source and that is where the two do not equate. No doubt he has been very generous with his merits to icopress but icopress did not ask for them.

The question if asked in a general sense, would any merit source applicant be happy to receive merits from those opposing his application because they like work or would they prefer to read a post to indicate they are (or are not) supporting his application?

Yeah, he opposed the application but his stance was "Conflict of Interest," which's not true as we all know, and in his previous posts he mentioned that he had background knowledge in accounting and IRS training and that made him to bring the "Conflict of interest," topic to the application.

Icopress, never asked for any merits but I believe he won't mind having those merits as he's a deserving member of the forum and if someone sends him merits, no matter if the merits come from an opposing member, then there's nothing wrong with it. I know it could be somehow hurtful to hear opposing words from reputed members but I'm quite sure that Icopress understands that in merit source application, both support and opposition could be present.

You're right that no body becomes happy when they get merits from someone who opposed their application, but still if someone is sending merits as a way to show his generosity then one should accept it as a sign of good will. I highly agree with all your words, however, I believe that philipma1957 could rethink about his opposition and might take it words back because if we analyze it deeply then we can understand that there won't be any conflict of interest or whatsoever even if a manager becomes a merit source.

Welcome to the forum, you can start learning about Bitcoin by reading posts in Bitcoin discussion. I recommend you to read topics in Bitcoin Discussion, Beginners & Help, and Speculation board as those are very important boards for the ones who want to learn about Bitcoin.

Although, you can learn everything about Bitcoin from this forum but those suggestions maybe helpful for you as a beginner. Best of luck!
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [CFNP]Stake.com SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN l UP TO $160/WEEK l HERO/LEG ONLY! on: March 24, 2024, 07:03:01 PM
That spreadsheet is exposing me for not being in the Stake signature campaign!  Still the best campaign around.  Happy to support the cause.  Smiley
I have always thought that you were part of the campaign but after reading your this post, now I know that you aren't in the campaign, but it's nice to know that you're still promoting the campaign because you believe in the cause. It's one of the largest campaigns on the forum, I wouldn't say the best one but quite known campaign that most members want to join.
494  Other / Meta / Re: Icopress ' Merit Source Application 🚩 on: March 24, 2024, 06:42:49 PM
A lot of the disagreement by  me with this thread  is my Accounting and IRS training. Which define a merit source act as a signature manager as a conflict of interest.
Yes, I believe that's because of your accounting and IRS training, however in actual there won't be conflict of interest. If you notice the merit history of Icopress then you can easily observe that he gets more than enough merits and in all of the signature campaigns that he manages, he never asks for number of merits a member earned in past 120 days.

He mostly accept the members based on their posting habits not based on the number of merits earned, and if we keep that in our mind then I'm sure there won't be any conflict of interest even if he becomes a merit source and give merits to the valuable posts of the members who are part of the signature campaigns that he's managing.

I have read his post and cannot work out why you seem to have concluded anything from his comments equating to you giving merits to icopress (or anyone else) in order to support him.
If I'm not wrong then it's a generous act by philipma1957 to support Icopress with merits so he may get some sMerits that he could send to the deserving posts. That's what came in my mind, I could be wrong but it's an act of generosity and support from philipma1957 I believe. If I'm not wrong then philipma1957 also believes that Icopress is doing great job for the forum and that could be another reason why he's sending those merits to Icopress.
495  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is poloniex safe? on: March 24, 2024, 04:09:42 PM
I saw in some comments some people dissapointed or saying poloniex is scam, what do you think?
I used to trade on that exchange in 2018 and it wasn't a scam exchange at all. I kept a few dollars in that exchange for 3 years and none of my funds were affected in any way, I withdrawn those in 2021 without any issues.

From my own experience with that exchange, I can say that it's a reliable exchange. However, I must tell you that I had around $100 which isn't a huge amount by any means but if they didn't interfere with $100 then I'm sure they won't do with $1000 either.
496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: International break's in football. on: March 24, 2024, 01:22:32 PM
Are you a fan of international breaks or not let's know your thoughts.
No, I'm not fan of international breaks but I do like Football and watch some matches of those leagues. For the fans of those clubs they can't miss any match but I'm someone who may watch those matches only so I can make a proper bet.

I enjoy watching the matches no doubt, but I don't pick one club or team as my favorite and other as unfavorite. I only go with the teams that are mostly likely closing to winning, and I'm very careful when I bet of football matches.

497  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Funded Trading best option for traders without funds to trade? on: March 24, 2024, 12:59:49 PM
If you know you are a good trader and you know that with a funded account you can make profits for yourself and for the firm that's funding your account then you may go for a funded trading account without any hesitation but if you're not sure about your rate of success or profits then you may never go for a funded trading account.

Trading with your own money is always better because it's in your own control and you can do whatever you want to do with it. There's no fear even if you lose with your own money but in a funded trading account you always fear when you face losses and when there is fear then there can't be good and profitable trading.
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [CFNP]Stake.com SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN l UP TO $160/WEEK l HERO/LEG ONLY! on: March 23, 2024, 04:00:20 PM
Here's the spreadsheet, check the 3 weeks (fev/19/24, fev/26/24 and mar/04/24) the newly accepted participants are painted with orange cells.
And for those that (I honestly have no idea why) want to know about the campaign members, here is the list.. but, as I said, no new members are shown in that list until they get their first payment.
Thanks for sharing it, the guy who needed it can now access it. I tried finding it a few months ago but I was unable to find it that's why I thought it was hidden for the sake of privacy. However, now I also know that it's available and anyone who wants to know the number of participants in the campaign and do so by viewing the spreadsheet. Thanks once again for sharing it.

Where are the list of the active participants on this signature campaign? I do not get a url to the list to see who has been chosen... can somebody please post the link to it?
If I'm not wrong then you're asking about the spreadsheet right? So far I have not seen Stake.com signature campaign's spreadsheet. Only the manager knows who's accepted in the campaign and no one else knows that's who's just applying the signature on their profile and who's actually accepted in the campaign. I think they're not showing the spreadsheet due to the privacy reasons.
500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Between Betting Exchanges and Sportsbooks Which has a Profit Potential? on: March 23, 2024, 12:49:09 PM
Between a betting exchange and a sportsbook, which of them guarantees that I will make a higher profit after a stake of no more than 3% of my bank which is my maximum risk?
If you want to go with the safer one then sportsbook is going to be your choice but if you want to go with the risky one that may give higher profits then you may go with betting exchange. It's again your own choice that matters the most. If I were in your place then I would go with sportsbook because that would be much safer for me in long-term.
