482  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you really make money on Forex? on: March 31, 2017, 07:33:56 PM
It is indeed possible to make money out of Forex only things you may need is proper training and understanding of market.
To make great profit two things are required:
* great luck
* Insider knowledge

Without above it is difficult to make significant amount of profit from Forex as investment or seed money required is also large.
483  Local / India / Re: What to do if BitCoin Exchanges are forced to close down on April 20 on: March 31, 2017, 07:28:34 PM

Its definitely not criminal .. Its scare of a new technology ..
Mahatma Gandhi broke salt laws. Was that criminal ?
* If govt decides and passes a bill for that then sadly bitcoin in India may become illegal.
* When Mr. Gandhi broke the salt law, it was criminal act as per then Govt.

Many are trying their best to create awareness about bitcoin/cryptocurrency which would help in clearing all doubts. Political leaders like Mr. Somaya have shown paramount ignorance towards cryptocurrency by depicting bitcoin as ponzi. Unfortunately these kind of ignorant souls are in position to take decision about things which they don't understand.
484  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin price is $10.000, will fiat be worthless? on: March 29, 2017, 03:46:22 PM
For me, even bitcoin price will hit this big price fiat will still not be worthless. Fiat is still the main currency all over the world. Even bitcoin continously increasing users still into use to cashout using fiat. It will not be worthless, though.
You are right fiat will never become worthless in the real world. Without fiat currency, we can not run any business in the world. Bitcoin is becoming more popular in the dark web but not in real world. If the price of the Bitcoin reach $10,000 and still the Bitcoin is illegal currency in all country, then it is no use. First, the Bitcoin want to become a legal currency in all country later we it may be happening.
yeah both you are right. Fiat is not dependent on the price of btc and in fact, it would be the other way around. If fiat crashes, then we may see effects on btc but bitcoin's price will not have any dent on fiat at all.
exactly, those who think bitcoin will make fiat currency worthless itself is contradictory. Fiat currency was there and will continue to exist. In fact fiat currency (paper or plastic or virtual) is in fact means of controlling masses. Bitcoin on the other hand need its acceptance against fiat. Imagine a scenario where a country or bunch of countries banned bitcoin or cryptocurrency. This will make bitcoin worthless in that country. If bitcoin reaches 10k$ mark then there is quite good chance of other crypto will get chance as affordable. Most of crypto market is still concentrated with few people.
485  Local / India / Re: WTF is this? [Use of Bitcoin illegal, says govt.] on: March 29, 2017, 06:13:00 AM
The RBI stand on the bitcoin has not changed since its earlier point of view. As of now if something goes wrong with bitcoin related trade customers are their own.
486  Economy / Economics / Re: Where can i invest my money? on: March 27, 2017, 06:56:42 PM
From history of bitcoin price fluctuation and people having bitcoins, it is better to HODL your bitcoins instead of investing in anything. Basically at this stage, bitcoin is a commodity than currency. Remember currency is for day today use and not for HODL. Whereas commodity is for buy, hold and sell. Bitcoin has all traits of great global currency however current dispute on scaling and infrastructure to handle more load are hurdles in its path.
Bottom line: Purchase and HODL.
487  Local / India / Re: Amit Bhardwaj/Kumar and a HashOcean clone called Gainbitcoin. on: March 27, 2017, 07:28:05 AM
Universal Digital Tokens

To accommodate mining of multiple coins we are creating Universal Digital Tokens exchangeable across all major Altcoin exchanges to the coin of your choice.
The token value will be derived based on the current price of coins we are mining.
Changes in the system:
1. Repurchase of new cloud contracts from payout balance is LIVE activated on 23 rd March.
2. Admin Fee of 10% is levied on total payout applicable from current payout cycle.
3. Payout will now be delivered as 50% in BTC and 50% in new Digital Tokens.
4. The Launch and exchangeability of New Digital Tokens and mining farm setup is expected before May 30th we will update the dates very soon.

This is just sad. Doesn't this breach the contract that the customers signed up for?
I know it's a scam and this is probably their exit strategy, but still..

How the fuck can they make such changes?

Till now goody-goody phase of gainbitcoin was going on. Till now Promoters/top leaders were claiming that Mr. AB and HB were honest of highest integrity and savior of poor, middle class Indian.
Mr. AB launched gainbitcoin to eradicate poverty from Indian society and make everyone a billionaire.
Reality Check: regular payouts  have stopped and abrupt policy changes are introduced willy-nilly.
488  Economy / Economics / Re: Want to Be a Millionaire? Two Main Rules of Bitcoin Investing on: March 26, 2017, 03:20:50 PM
It is indeed rather gold-digger attitude towards bitcoin success. Bitcoin has seen worst times and negativity, but bitcoin has recovered and rose like phoenix. There are many coins/currencies which failed to make any mark.
489  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: March 26, 2017, 02:05:15 PM
For safest and reliable folks Gold is THE option, whereas bitcoin is for risk-takers. Bitcoin may rise again from this segwit and hard fork war. At this stage, move bitcoins to gold if safety is what you are looking for. Or buy more bitcoins if you think this is great chance to buy bitcoins at lowest rate.
490  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: March 26, 2017, 01:59:49 PM
At this stage bitcoin is NOT capable of handling global currency load. At most it has become global commodity and too much sought after commodity rather than global currency.
491  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why you should Buy bitcoin now on: March 26, 2017, 01:55:12 PM
at this stage it is better to wait and watch till bitcoin hard-fork or segwit decision is taken and implemented. Till then move your bitcoins from online wallet to desktop or hardware wallet whose private keys will be with you.
492  Economy / Economics / Re: 2016’s top cryptocurrencies + january 2017 on: March 26, 2017, 01:39:38 PM
Since dash, ethereum have witnessed huge positive upward movement. Does anyone thinks Dash or ethereum still has potential to move upward ?
493  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price is recovering! on: March 26, 2017, 01:34:26 PM
Current price is around ~1000$. And was playing around ~900$ for some days. After the disapproval of ETF price is was not getting corrected from 1200$. Now current price fluctuation could be the result of  hard fork or segwit decision discussion.  Many online wallets are asking their customers to withdraw individual bitcoins to the desktop wallet(whose private keys will be with you) or encash the bitcoins.

Till the hard fork or segwit remains undecided current trend of downward movement would remain so.
494  Local / India / Re: Zebpay Hard Fork Question on: March 25, 2017, 07:56:50 PM
Two options straight forward:
1. Move your bitcoins from online wallets like zebpay, unocoin, etc and also from exchange wallets like from coinsecure, localbitcoin etc  TO your desktop wallet or mobile wallet or hardware wallet. Point is move your bitcoins to the wallet whose private keys will be with you.
2. Encash your bitcoins to fiat or alt-coins

DO NOT keep your bitcoins in online wallets, as if hard fork happen then online wallet will bear no responsibility of your bitcoin.
495  Local / India / Re: best and worst bitcoin exchanges around india on: March 24, 2017, 07:10:55 PM
Once you are familiar with bitcoin purchase process, It would be better go for bitcoin exchange like coinsecure, localbitcoin or btxindia. Soon you will find that bitcoin buying rates at coinsecure, localbitcoin, btxindia are much more comparative and realistic than those offered by zebpay or unocoin.
Thus you could start with unocoin or zebpay, after that better go for coinsecure. You will find coinsecure is much better for purchase and selling of bitcoin than zebpay or unocoin.

Last but not least, NEVER store/keep your bitcoins in bitcoin exchange wallet and third party vendor wallet AKA online wallet. Always store your bitcoins on your machine, laptop using appropriate wallet. That is once you purchase bitcoin  from coinsecure or zebpay or unocoin, immediately move your bitcoins to your personal bitcoin wallet whose private key will be with you.
496  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How hard is it really to make money on: March 24, 2017, 07:00:55 PM
difficulty in money making is directly proportional to how smart and/or innovative a person is.
497  Local / India / Re: Bitcoin declared illegal in India? on: March 24, 2017, 06:57:17 PM
Few things needs to get straight.
* Indian Bureaucrats and politicians are nescient about bitcoin. They don't have slightest idea about digital cryptocurrency.
* However RBI might be well aware of bitcoin.

It is noteworthy that they have not banned bitcoin usage completely just shrugged off their responsibility in case of any fraud/situation related to a bitcoin.

It is indeed sad situation, but it will change as US and Russia are becoming more positive about bitcoin.
498  Economy / Economics / Re: Will you invest in a MLM scam in early stage? on: March 23, 2017, 05:43:03 PM
People who want to earn money via passive income source like MLM, are blinded by greed. No scammer ever forces anyone to pay them money. Instead they take advantage of weakness of greedy people. Anyone who blindly invest money in MLM scheme is at risk of loss of money. Yet lot of people still take the bet. So it is the naivety which lands them in trouble. With this greed they will loose their money one way or another.  Could we agree on a point?
499  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: March 23, 2017, 07:52:04 AM
Bitcoin is constantly showing its instability. I would not be surprised if it drops to $ 100 and below. Speculation with bitcoin it can be. Nobody knows how the price of bitcoin will behave. It all depends on demand.
stability was never a strong point of bitcoin but the volatility. price drop to $100 is bit far fetched. Again what would happen after hard fork if it ever happens is unknown.
500  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: March 22, 2017, 06:38:28 PM
Before any govt accepting it as currency, let the bitcoin developer community itself solve the current problem with hard fork or soft fork. It has been going around since long time and it is still unsolved. How are the issues like transaction congestion, lost transaction, micro transaction will be dealt with? Unless and until these issues remain there is no chance of bitcoin getting wider acceptance from any Govt body.
