I am doing reasonably well, nothing out of this world but I am getting some small profits as a trader and that is better than to keep getting losses, I really hope to catch a huge movement during the next months and make some nice amount of money but the chances of doing that are very low since the market is still in a very bad shape and it does not seem like it is going to recover during this year, but if it does I will be ready watching the markets and taking advantage of any opportunity that appears.

Hodl is feature that is synonymous with Cryptos and very easy to do unlike other commodities, recalled both ETH and BTC were very bearish few months ago an accumulator will have made an appreciable profits by hodling just within the shortest period of time, hodlers makes a lot of profits in cryptocurrencies by mere action of buying and store in a wallet.
No, holding is synonymous with bitcoin when it comes to many of the new alts or icos it is completely out of the question to hold them for the long term at the first sign that something is wrong then you need to sell them, you could lose some money doing that but at least you will not be holding useless coins like many other people that kept holding their coins thinking they will earn money with an ico that at the end scams them and lose everything. |

Well i already joined cryptocurrency for 3 years. There is good time and now im in bad time , to be honest first year when i joined crypto is very fun. I did a lot bounties and got paid a lot. That time i think maybe i can be rich but everything change in 2018.
It is difficult for everyone but you should see this as a test, many people are out of the market for good and they will not come back, they will never get profits out of this market, the ones that are still here still have a chance but if you give up you will join all of those that will never see profits and the money that you could have gotten will go to some other person that was willing to go through years of difficult market conditions just to see a bull market again. |

For the past three days now the price of altcoins has been a bit stable and I think 2019 , will be another altcoins years. Now that most of them has gone oversold I think is the right time to buy and make good profits. The market has been bad and the cryptocurrency market is going to recover in some months to come.
I really hope that you are right, I am thinking that the year of 2019 is not going to see a great recovery from bitcoin but that means there are many altcoins that could gain value and in which you could invest and get some nice profits, if I could at least recover the money I lost through failed icos and the market crash I will be happy and I have been preparing for this kind of market for some time and if see the opportunity to make money I am not going to let it pass me. |

I do not know what I will be doing at that time, the date is too far away to make any kind of accurate prediction, I suppose that I will still be holding my bitcoin and if I am lucky then at that time the price of bitcoin will be many times higher than at this moment and my life will be way easier than what it is now, of course I also plan to multiply my holdings not only through buying more coins but also with my investments but so far I had no luck in the coins in which I invested.

While you are correct that it is impossible to have eternal growth at the same time governments keep printing fiat at a very fast rate so that makes the value of everything to keep climbing up and the same is going to be true for cryptocurrencies, however I agree that the markets present cycles and that we need to have a very clear vision in which cycle we are so we can get the best profits out of the market, right now we are in a bear cycle and if we want to get profits we need to trade. |

Forget about the features of an exchange the most important thing is how they secure your coins, if an exchange is not secure then there is no point in any of the other features since I will never put my money there, you need to find an exchange that has the best security possible and that has never be hacked, very few exchanges can say something like that which is the main reason I do not use a single exchange to store my coins or to trade.

No one can really control this market, at most they can try to influence it but that is it, there are many that have obtained great benefits out of this bear market but that does not make them bad they are just being smart traders, if you do not want to keep losing money then you only have one option and that is to do the same thing they are doing and take advantage of the market not only when it is going up but when it is going down as well. |

Always diversify investments. Never go all in on just one.
That seems like a rational choice but I disagree, you cannot really go wrong by investing everything in bitcoin or ethereum, you could invest in a hundred new icos right now and not a single one of them will give you profits, so in this case diversification will hurt you and make you lose all your money, so the most important thing is no diversification but to select very well in which coins you decide to invest your money. |

if I have 10000$, i will split 20:80, for 20% I will invest in dogecoin and the rest do business property on real life. why did I choose dogecoin? because I don't need a lot of assets to holding. enough with dogecoin only.
If you are really going to hold a coin for the long term I do not see the point of holding a coin like dogecoin, it is better to hold a coin like bitcoin that you know it is not going to suddenly disappear or anything weird like that, now it is true the profits you can get out of bitcoin are not as great as what you could get with an altcoin but the security you have when it comes to bitcoin of holding the best cryptocurrency of the market is something that does not have a price. |

Why you are in a very hurry?  You shouldn't think that you can be rich very soon or be a rich man from the crypto market is very easy. After a long run of the bear market, the situation is still the same, so it is not possible to tell you the exact date of the bull run. I'll choose to invest in cryptocurrencies. Why? It's because my money isn't enough to establish a practical and decent real business. In cryptocurrencies, I feel more freedom since I can invest it anonimously. This is important many businesses require a huge amount of capital just to get started but when it come to cryptocurrencies you can invest a small amount of money and you can still be very effective as long as you have the knowledge and the skill to select great projects that give you profits, so if have to choose between a business and investing in cryptocurrencies, then to me the best option is to invest in cryptocurrencies since the capital needed is so low. |

It is impossible to know the bottom of this drop. Maybe 3k maybe 2.4k or maybe we have already bottomed. But I am pretty sure that the people who are buying now will earn lots of money.
Most likely we already reached the bottom or we are extremely close to it, in any case this seems to be a good moment to buy bitcoin especially if you are thinking about holding it for the long term since it will not be weird at all if we surpassed the previous all time high during the next 5 years and if that is the case you could easily multiply your money more than 5 times which is not too bad for a simple strategy of buying and holding your coins. |

wauw new to trading in 2016… I wish I had entered crypto in 2016.. Entering crypto earlier does not guarantee that you will have any profits, there are many traders that lost money during 2017 despite the bull market and as you may guess if they could not make money when the market was experimenting such conditions then they have no way to make money during a bear market, however if you can still be profitable now despite the conditions the next time the bull market comes you will become a millionaire. |

Why an investor will be impressed without a solid project. If you do enough research, no one can deceit you with a fake project. We should not inveat our money without proper research.
I agree with this, people keep investing in projects that have no future and have done nothing and yet they are asking millions of dollars, this needs to stop, we need to be more careful and to stop giving money to developers with nothing to show for except a website and a white paper, if we did that the number of scams will be reduced to almost zero and we will show all those scammers that we are not as dumb as they believe we are. |

For me, Ethereum is still pretty good and reliable and able to provide benefits one day. There is no anxiety for me to continue to hold Ethereum and Bitcoin that I have, because surely when the price of Bitcoin rises again, Ethereum and other coins will rise too.

As I know a new record of bearish market was broken few days ago. I know we all waiting to 20000 $ back to not skip the chance and to sell by high price. But everything I say is that we may wait for a whole year more to new bull run come.
Here we go, 1 year in this bear market already. There’s plenty of people still in crypto who are waiting to sell out once Bitcoin get back its peak price to recover their initial investment. As you said, looking for BTC to run all the way to mainstream by the end of 2019 Those people should have sold when they had their chance, it is going to be almost impossible for anyone that bought their coins almost at the top to keep holding, there could be some incredible individuals capable of doing that but we cannot really expect that a person that is losing more than 75% of his capital will be capable of holding his coins for 3 or 4 years. |
