481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Interview with Stake.com CEO Reveals Plans for Tether Betting + New Games. on: August 12, 2020, 06:27:20 PM
Nobody uses Tether, because its regulated and pegged by the US dollar they should just accept a different Cryptocurrency like chainlink instead of a Stable Coin. New games is kinda typical these days, i guess what im really looking forward for them to do is to create new passive income options in their casino. Like staking your coin then gaining compounding interest. Since they have both casino and sports games why not, become an all in one gambling site. So users wouldn't have to leave.
Already stake has got a huge list of cryptocurrencies being added for gambling needs. In specific certain minimum and maximum value was provided, using which one can convert any cryptocurrency to any of the liked coins with which we wish to play. Now to the list USDT is gonna get added, and just because it is begged by the US dollar we can't state it to be unwanted for gambling. For users who place bets in terms of USD it'll be good.
482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about a Blockchain powered Rail Network? on: August 12, 2020, 09:24:40 AM
Blockchain application have reached too far right now that it could be implemented to Railways according to this article.

Quote
According to Vgudok, Sergey Vinogradov, the general director of the Scientific Research Institute of Railway Transport, blockchain may have a place in the national transport system.

It is not just about the flow of transport between trains, but they also plan to build a system for logistic firms to avail a cargo spaces within the Russian rail Network. Meaning, it would be efficient for supplies since the cost will be significantly lower compared to renting trucks.

This is in accordance to the recently
Quote
passed a major bill related to cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (BTC)
and a thread here

I wonder if they will also promote the use of bitcoin when making payment for this train, but it contradicts the context of the bill that prevents the usage of bitcoin as a payment.
There are more number of private blockchain that have been developed for their own purpose. Same as that Russian railway network will be having its own blockchain, and nothing to relate bitcoin with it. They've clearly mentioned about the blockchain technology usage and bitcoin not getting used as payment.

With blockchain powered rail network the scheduling and the train movements can be tracked accurately. Already more logistics networks function on the blockchain. One such is the Dubai logistics network, and here Russia will have advantage with the blockchain powered rail network on logistics.
483  Economy / Speculation / Re: We will likely see a sharp increase then decrease in price on: August 12, 2020, 07:29:01 AM
there is no news which makes the price go up or down, the price going up is the news

Or it's just bitcoin becomes the hedge in this pandemic that's why the prices keeps increasing even though there's just a few minor news, like the Grayscale and some other companies like MicroStrategy also getting into bitcoin. And there's this movement from altcoins as well, Defi, IEO that somewhat brings crypto closer to average joe.

And I would agree that in order to move forward, we should get into this healthy corrections, like what we seen bring it down to $11,300-11,400.
Bitcoin has got termed to be the hedge in the pandemic due to its speculative factor. As expected there isn't much of speculation, but the real growth is experienced good during the pandemic. As the entire stocks and shares keep falling the price of bitcoin showing an increase is termed a manipulated one by people who are against cryptocurrency.

What we see in the market right now isn't a price correction, it is the gradual price movement. If this was a correction we could've experienced a pullback at $11500.
484  Economy / Speculation / Re: When we will see $12k Bitcoin once again? on: August 12, 2020, 05:31:52 AM
Once again, if we are about to pass the 12k$ resistance, we need the shorts to be here for the liquidity, this is just what happens now - re-accumulation below the 12k$ resistance. Confirmed by breakout itself.

Lesson from here: The nature of the accumulation process is to gather enought fuel (liquidity) for to start the race.

It seems the price needs to stay at $11k before it can start another rally this month. I am sure the bitcoin price will pass $12k soon, no matter if it is back this month or next month. We already touch $12k before, so we have a big chance to touch it again in the next rally, and I hope that the price can break $13k or the other high price.
Next time when bitcoin go above $12000 there'll be a strong price rallying. Now there is more chance for the price to drop and reach close to $10000. As in the above quote it is time for re-accumulation before a bounce to the resistance barrier from which the price has started to crawl downwards.
485  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Donald Trump signs executive orders banning TikTok and WeChat on: August 11, 2020, 11:49:56 PM
Personally I don't see anything wrong about Tiktok getting banned on the US since most US and Western apps are banned in China. You can't properly run Google straight-up on a Chinese phone and you have to do some tweaking before Gapps run smoothly without a hitch. Also, it's not new that apps like this is used for spying and gathering sensitive information on other countries. I would not like to sound like these things are coming straight out of a fictional action film but it's the reality. Heck, there are some small applications that has nothing to do with altering and managing phone calls and messages but you need to allow the app to access those in order for it to work as intended.

As for the ban, I'm not entirely sure whether Microsoft acquiring it is a good idea, or whether they will push through with this or not since one of the markets they're aiming for already expressed its plans to ban the app. As always, this has been the never-ending subtle attacks between two economic superpowers besting each other on even the littlest of things.
Everything is interconnected with business, and this is where Microsoft is using it an opportunity to acquire tiktok. ByteDance which is the authority for tiktok hasn't shown any sign of interest selling it to Microsoft. When China has got its own application, why should other countries let Chinese applications make revenue out of other countries. My opinion too is the same, I don't find anything wrong with it. With more number of applications banned from usage, there is a huge loss being faced by the Chinese technology based firms. Maybe they'll soon tie-up with some other companies to have its global presence for sure.

UPDATE NO: 15!!!

This is the update for Yolodice:

This is my total profit for:

BTC: 0.00655249
USD: 336.37
PHP: 15990.42

Here's the spreadsheet:

This update is so good haha, As @snipie said there's a whale who lost and gives us a good profit, I am now at 13.1180% profit in BTC! I hope this continue well for us  Grin
What are your thoughts on this update?  Grin
That's really a good profit. Making an earning of more than $300 in around four months time is big for an investment of 0.05BTC, and for users who doesn't wants to take risks on trading can better go with such investment with the bitcoins that rests idle in the wallets. Keep going man, it is very hard to get an interest rate of 13% on investment. No banking schemes or any other policies cna provide this.
487  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♠️CASINEOS.COM | Blockchain Powered Betting | Crypto Casino and Sportsbook🥊🏀🎲 on: August 10, 2020, 12:06:52 AM
My bad I'm actually asking for minimum withdrawal
You can find it in the wallet section and go to withdrawal tabs, just changing the cryptocurrency balance if you want to know other cryptocurrency minimum withdrawal from CASINEOS. Here a list of minimum withdrawal for every cryptocurrency on CASINEOS:

Bitcoin : 1.000 Satoshi (0.00001 BTC).
Ethereum : 0.001 ETH
Litecoin : 0.002
EOS : 0.01
XRP : 0.5

The fee withdrawal was always changing depends on the network.

Source : https://casineos.com/
Every casino has the similar pattern of withdrawal fee, some has stated that casineos have got increased withdrawal fee, I believe it looks like high as the fee depends upon the market changes of the value of bitcoin.
488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos are open - end of the Pandemic era. on: August 09, 2020, 05:00:09 PM
So you're saying that it is airborne?

You're saying that it is being taken by the air and not falling down when released when someone sneezed or talked? I thought it doesn't work like that?

It's airborne when sneezed or exhaled and if you are within the range of that exhale, then you will breathe it in.  (that is why it is essential to socially distance so you don't breathe it in - no-one can say for certain what the actual range of travel of a sneeze or exhale is).

Once the particles have settled on a surface, you c into contact by touching them and if you put your hand to your mouth or eyes transmission with occur.

Essentially, regularly wash your hands and maintain social distancing, avoid touching your face or eyes.

As far as I know being airborne means it can be carried by the air.

What you are saying is just the respiratory droplets through sneezing, breathing others. If it is airborne, it would be like a gas leak, radiation from the leak which people should abandon that place in certain mile or distance. If it is really airborne, social distancing is not enough. This will be really tragic if that is the case especially to Las Vegas with functioning casinos and bars.

Based on what I heard and read so far, a person that caught a virus via droplets depends on the capability of a virus to be airborne. There are studies already been taken and some if not all experts think that the COVID 19 virus might be airborne. Their definition of being airborne is that the virus can stay in the air for a long period of time. That means if someone sneezed and that has the virus, even if that happened 2-3 hours ago, if you entered the room where the person sneezed, you will get the virus.

Source: https://blogs.webmd.com/public-health/20200610/what-does-it-mean-for-a-virus-to-be-airborne

Various researchers have various ideas to put forth. In that covid (corona infected viral disease) spreads easily mainly through droplets from one to other person. This is the reason why we are forced to wear mask and maintain social distancing. Apart from this mode of spread from infected person to healthy individuals via sputum which they spit or sneeze. It's a boon to every researchers for finding a vaccination against corona. Corona virus is found in people aged above 60, and it is proven. Nevertheless it becomes fatal it's like a common cold in both mode of transmission but severity in infecting the respiratory system only varies.
489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to invest BTC other than in casino bankrolls? on: August 09, 2020, 04:32:49 AM
What kills most investors are quick money schemes, the option of lending btc to those exchange listed above is a good one despite the fact that the return is low, but it's a 100% that your money would be returned back as soon as possible without been scammed.
The trading option would have been better but can't push you to that because trading needs experience and expert, so that would ruin your Money.
Very few exchanges provide support for lending. Earlier Poloniex opted with its trusted service. Lending is always risk associated, and more legal procedures to be followed. This is why exchanges don't support investment/lending. Trading is better in all prospects, but it requires good learning about the market fluctuation. Only then one can make predictions that coincide with the real market changes.
490  Economy / Economics / Re: Government+cryptocurrencies on: August 09, 2020, 01:59:37 AM
for me the government will only interfere in the field of crypto currency, because the government tends to control and regulate the economy with the aim of not harming the government's finances itself,

We know that crypto has a decentralist nature, it cannot be controlled by a person or group of people, while the government tends to be the opposite.

It's how you said it Shreek! These two are contradictory, and people will have to choose what will they use, if there's a choice,
governments can find a way to force people to use their crypto-currency!
We will have to choose will we obey to their rules, or we will follow a decentralized way of thinking. I am for decentralization,
but that means that we will have to make some big changes in this world.

And if that is the case the governemnt will be choosing to ban crypto currencies on the country. They can't afford people using decentralized crypto currencies unless they are already taxing it(don't know how will they do that though). It would be an alternative to fiat/crypto that the government would issue but I think this is still far from us.
Countries with limited population as well as having good technology development have already begun to circulate their own cryptocurrency. I read about Switzerland and Korea having their own cryptocurrency. This isn't much into usage now, can expect increased usage in the near future. Another important thing is the taxation, it'll hard to tax every transaction which is also a reason for the delay of cryptocurrencies usage within the countries.
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH will touch 10,000$ to 12,000$ at the end of 2020. on: August 08, 2020, 11:59:15 PM
The fact that ethereum hasn't touched 500 USD yet but you analyze the price at the end of 2020? This is impossible..  10000 USD is way far than you imagine. Though they have some good news about their development that does not mean that price will go up very fast in the span of 5 months?
$10000 is way far, and with the upcoming updates we can expect good growth with ethereum. We don't know how long the price growth will continue, but we can expect a price above $1000 following the growth pattern of bitcoin. If the same pattern of bullish trend with minor price fluctuations continue, surely ethereum has the chance of reaching a new ATH value this year but not $10000.
492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chess on Sports/eSports betting on: August 08, 2020, 11:57:51 PM
My tactic for blitz is just build up a big attack at the kings side and go full for the attack. Attacking is way more easy then defending well. So in blitz you better stand at the attacking side ;-)

I often using the same tactic, but my weak spot is that many times i can't defend myself and see enemies moves because i'm busy of making my plan. So sometimes i get very unpleasant check mates  Undecided

But it's weird, that for example i'm playing a little worse (because of the weak spot described above) than a friend of mine, but faster. There was too many matches when i've won because he was out of time  Smiley

I try to play against the system and winning will be very low. I do this to learn something out of it. As the system is developed with specific moves to be done based on the moves from the opponent it'll give better playing skills. Same as that of the live Casino available with few gambling sites, live Chess might attract good number of gamblers as chess is more of a skill based game than the luck.
493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Network fee is killing my small profit on: August 08, 2020, 11:04:45 PM
I have started to buy BTC and sell them in a higher price (in BDT). For example, imagine I have purchased $100 worth  of BTC @86BDT per USD and sold them instantly @87BDT per USD. This is a good business even if you take 1BDT per USD profit. I was having some good profits each day.
But now after the fee has increased, it has been impossible to get profit. There's a transaction cost which I can not avoid and it is very high. I trade small amount like $50 even (To make a strong hub). In such cases, I have no profit almost unless I'm dealing $300 or over. That's a pain to pay such fee but I have no way because I do not make a bad relation with buyers and sellers.
sometimes in some exchange fees are very burdensome but we have to keep going, it looks unfair but it is the truth. but still there are many options for exchanges that have low fees and high levels of security, so it doesn't kill small profits
Just think of a small level trader, he just holds small funds in the wallet. Out of the difference in the price between time one might get to earn few dollars. If the same gets charged during withdrawal what's the profit the user gets out of the trade. Most of the users don't withdraw from the exchanges regularly, and based on the trading we've made will be the fee levied. This way high volume traders were levied with low fee than the small traders.
494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nigeria Becomes Fastest Growing Crypto Market In The World on: August 08, 2020, 10:36:29 PM
From above link above: https://bitcoinworld.co.in/nigeria-becomes-fastest-growing-crypto-market-in-the-world/
Among top countries in Q2, 2020 leading in peer to peer Bitcoin transactional trades on the African continent were:
Nigeria – $34.4 million dollars.
South Africa – $15.2 million dollars.
Kenya – $7.8 million.
Ghana – $640,000.
Tanzania – $600,000.

Out of the 7 continents Africa is probably the highest in government corruption so given this there is no much surprise that cryptocurrency which allows people to escape institutional governance is doing so well. My concern is that many more people from this continent as well as others will not have access to internet so not everyone would be able to take refuge in crypto.

On the other hand, seeing that Africa as a whole is growing rapidly the real challenge will come when all of this will come to a halt due to the poverty line being reached. Realistically there are limitations to how many people can understand BTC and are given even the chance to buy/sell or use.

The growth in terms of usage and adoption is tremendous with the African countries, but for some reason there is also negative things taking place in the name of cryptocurrencies. This needs to be stopped, or else it can ruin the goodness of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. In specific understanding the growing demand scammers try to attract people with scam schemes in the name of bitcoin and ethereum as those are much familiar.
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 mistakes to avoid when investing in Crypto on: August 07, 2020, 04:43:05 PM
  • Before making an investment or getting into trading, have basic understanding about cryptocurrencies.
  • Spend time learning how to keep your funds safe, whether it is on exchange wallets being or your own.
  • At the beginning don't invest on new cryptocurrencies, always go for the top coins on the coinmarketcap.
  • There is a common mentality among beginners to make a big earning out of cryptocurrency investment.
This at times end up getting caught on the hands of scammers and Ponzi schemes.
  • Spend/invest what you can afford to loss. At the beginning don't go with big capital.
496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone in the Bitcoin ATM business? on: August 07, 2020, 02:51:59 PM
Through an article came to know more than 70% of bitcoin ATM is located in USA. Rest were distributed on the rest of the countries. This means the business isn't diversified around the globe. It takes time, as people are not that aware as well as governments weren't that welcoming for the cryptocurrency and related businesses.
497  Economy / Economics / Re: returning to normal on: August 07, 2020, 12:36:02 PM
In few countries people have returned to the normal living with very limited restrictions. Those countries have achieved this, just because they handled it very carefully during the early days of the corona virus attack. One of the country is Vietnam. At the very early stage itself they understood the true effect of the pandemic and made all immediate restrictions and testing. When countries waited for testing kit, they developed their own testing kit and supplied for low price. Importantly people co-operated perfectly to each and every decision from the government.
498  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie should trade or not? Please give me idea. on: August 07, 2020, 11:18:20 AM
Trading isn't meant for any particular person or to certain level of people. Newbies and everyone who has the mind to learn as well as have capital to invest can get into trading. Trading is all about the market predictions, one who has got the ability to predict the market changes precisely can profit out of it. There are newbies who are good in trading, most of the time newbies were suggested to practice with small funds and further increase their capital.
499  Economy / Economics / Re: Rise in US unemployment. Thoughts? on: August 07, 2020, 05:41:47 AM
It was predictable that current unemployment in the US could occur due to the Covid19 pandemic.
Prevention measures were not applied in time to avoid infections and those that were took were not the most successful.

IMO, it will no longer be the same for the countries of the world and in the current crisis unemployment will be very high and the USA will apply the necessary policies for the labor protection of its citizens.

Ideally for all of us, we should have a cure for coronavirus soon.
While the other countries are fighting against the pandemic.

China is free from Covid19. Excellent!
Now China is offering $ 1 billion loans to Latin America and the Caribbean to access its covid19 vaccine.

https://www.cnn.com/2020/07/23/americas/china-billion-vaccine-latin-america-coronavirus-intl/index.html

Whether it is the truth, I believe China is hiding or it isn't revealing the truth to the outer world. When the entire world is suffering, and the one from which it got its beginning is free of covid-19 is something miraculous. Countries are much into the development of the vaccine for covid-19, and if China had found the medicine. It might have marketed it to profit big out of the prevailing situation.
500  Economy / Economics / Re: Philippines will drop as a Country, Economy on its worst! on: August 07, 2020, 03:01:25 AM
We really can't rely on our government too much. Places are crowded, population is high, unruly citizens, we're pretty messed up ourselves as a citizen. There are even cases here where some people are trying to hide covid victims which infected more people.

the officials in this country are the worse, there isn't unity here.
You got it. Instead of focusing on the main problem of the country, government officials are busy blaming each other and the president about the previous and current issues that we are facing now, there's no unity. Some people are even busy going on rally to protest resulting to increase of the infected. According to the president there's no budget anymore to give the people cash aid or relief goods, so what will happen to us now if this situation continue? Plus corrupt officials are still existing like the issue on philhealth agency, its really frustrating to watch news on tv about these negative issues.

i'm sure there's funds because he can just ask to print a lot of money. he can even pay millions to those who can create vaccines. probably the reason why he says there is no money is because he doesn't want people to rely on the stimulus package from the government.

it all depend to the one shouting, when they liberals were in the position they kept demanding to unite each other. now that they are the ones in the opposition, you can't hear them saying unity.

Printing more money just leads to higher inflation, meaning less value for peso which will worsen the economy of the Philippines. As of now, we are barely holding on with the current value of our money. We can only hope for the best during this time and wait for a vaccine.

Vaccine is the only solution from the world is eagerly waiting for, at the present almost every country has been running out of money. Very few number of Governments operating with perfect plans facilitating the need of common people. The vaccine takes time to reach the usage, already so many were under testing. Let's hope and pray for the fastest recovery and destruction of covid-19 virus all around.
