481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can never be a means of making money. on: December 09, 2019, 10:25:18 AM
If one is not vary of the circumstances we all know how dangerous it could be and people have lost lot of money , their health and relationship is spoiled . If up to certain extent done is fine unless people do have extra money and can lose and still would be fine .
That words that I bolded above should gamblers in their mindset. If ever you lose the extra amount of your money and you're always fine.
Easy to say, but that is the hardest.

Gambling is not a means of making money, it was created even before from ancient people just for fun. If you want to make money on gambling and to avoid the risk maybe investing is the house edge is great in my opinion or making your own online gambling platform is also a good investment as well and probably in making money.

People who will make a passive income of gambling just for example just hitting the jackpot prize will probably not return and to have a break for a while. So, it doesn't mean that it is intentionally to support our daily needs or a source of income. Find a decent job and gamble your extra money from the monthly salary is good advice.
Due to greediness, this mindset has disappeared. Gambling will never be used for fun.
It would be great to invest or even create your own gambling site, but it is hard. But if you have enough assets, knowledge and you really have the capability, then maybe it would be easy to do so.

Yes, finding a decent job would be better. Gambling will never be decent a way to earn money, you will only end up having more losses than the expectation of earning.

482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever done to experiment to determine percentage of winning? on: December 09, 2019, 09:32:05 AM
LOL. I remember when I was still new. I thought there will be pattern in dice about the next result. So i'm listing down the numbers/results every roll and doing some mathematics thing. After some try I gave up on that kind of shit. Ended up thinking i'm a fool for doing this kind thing because the result is completely random. How come there will be pattern. LOL. Well, of course I've done this out of curiosity since I was just new.

I've also done that too and it was funny, for being so desperate in winning in gambling. I've also tried to analyze how random it is, like if I win the first roll and lose in the next one, the next roll will probably a mess also, and sometimes it is correct, sometimes it is not, so you never knew what roll you are going to win and bet big to win big. The house edge is very unpredictable which is pretty annoying if you lost too much money on it in a day.
Sounds weird and funny, being desperate and want to win in gambling sounds very greedy to me. How can you enjoy every game if you write it down and instead you are enjoying a gamble, you make your mind blown up and thinking it too much? Just enjoy it and don't think too much how much the percentage of winning. Something like you are buying liquor and foods just to have fun, gambling also likes that, if you need to spend that you can afford to lose, why not.
Or maybe this is how determined they are to win the game.
I think they can enjoy the game by analyzing it. Since they can record every detail of the game just to maximize their chances of winning.
But you are right, instead of enjoying it by going with the flow of the game, they take it more seriously and in the end, their analyzation will not be working since it is not accurate at all.
483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sale my old bike and buy bitcoin, what do you think? on: December 08, 2019, 03:41:40 PM
An old bike? seriously? put some more effort dude!

a kidney could worth up to 1 million dollar, pull off that kidney from your body and convert it to bitcoins, that is what i called as a real effort haha you can get up to 130 bitcoin with a single kidney sold to the needy.
Where can it be, so I can do it right away. LOL. In our country, a kidney will only worth $5-10k USD if converted to USD.   Undecided Undecided

on a serious note , taking risk by selling stuff -a non necessary- stuff that is better choice rather than letting your stuff stay there losing value , you can switch it of to a productive , progressive one like bitcoin investment.

there is no harm to do it, as long as not something you are using it urgently in your daily life like a house.
it could be a high risk , you can not afford to lose it and i think that is a bad choice.
It's true, it would be better to have an investment where you can see it grow than an asset that is decreasing its value over time. Though a bike is an asset where you can use anytime as a mean of transportation.

484  Economy / Services / Re: I can assist in cryptotalk.org bounty on: December 08, 2019, 12:51:34 PM
To OP, if you can make constructive posts, then join the discussions; contribute your ideas and share your knowledge. You can offer other services that are acceptable by most users.
Yes, use his knowledge to benefit himself. OP should realize that his knowledge can give him a satisfying benefit if he can use his capability in the right way. Offering services such as translation to his native language is one of the choices, instead of offering a pilot service which he can only get a small amount of income.

486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Increase Bitcoin adoption on: December 08, 2019, 10:47:57 AM
The idea is what people are needed when you want to increase the adoption rate in a certain country.
I like the idea and we're both in the same country, so I support your idea.
The design lacks improvement, but it is fine since there is always a lot of space for improvement.
487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can never be a means of making money. on: December 08, 2019, 09:49:55 AM
The odds of making money is not good for those who want to make money, unfortunately that's the truth, if you want to really make money from gambling, you can do two things, become a loan shark, where you lend gamblers with money, or set up a gambling site although the competition is stiff  but if you gain regular customers, you are in for a bg money.
That's the reality for us gamblers, well, it is really a win or lose situation for us where if you are lucky enough, you will win.
Becoming a loan shark is really risky, there are so many consequences you might get doing that. Setting up a gambling site would be better, though a lot of work you must make first to gather players.
488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin mixers be considered illegal by worldwide governments? on: December 07, 2019, 06:52:03 AM
Government banning bitcoin mixers is reasonable since most of the time mixers are used in illegal doings in the crypto world because it can make your transaction untraceable and if that money came from illegal thing like scamming or whatever it is, mixers are mostly used by money launderer scammers out there so it's totally fine if they ban or consider it illegal in the future.

It is actually not only made for evading illegal activities in the market. Some people want absolute privacy especially if they do really have allot of cryptocurrency. People knowing them spending too much would just put them in danger. That is why they need the mixers to fully secure their anonymity. In this case, if people want complete anonymity when gambling, then mixers are beneficial for them. Just for the sake of explaining why mixers are important and for us not to see it as something that protects illegal activities.
But we can't still remove the fact that it is being used in illegal activities that may become the reason for the government to ban it sooner or later. Even if there are so many people who only wanted to have a complete anonymity when doing gambling or any transaction even if it is not illegal, the government will only see its dark side. It is unfair but that's the reality.
489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sale my old bike and buy bitcoin, what do you think? on: December 07, 2019, 06:10:59 AM
If you think your bike is not useful right now then you did a good job.to make profit need patience and need to hold long time.Though you mentioned it.Maybe 2020 will be good year for crypto market but no one can guarantee.
Agreed to this, actually if there is no use for us, it is better to make use of it. If I am on the same situation, I will do the same since I am gonna be able to increase my investment which is I think is right.

Note: Coinbase or others exchangers are not safe for holding crypto (for long time) you are using coinbase.Better to use electrum/bitcoin core.No key means no control no crypto. 99.99% risky.
Yes or better to use hardware wallet, but then again, if OP don't want to spend any money, then using electrum would be the best choice to hold bitcoin.

490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In the next decade, BTC and digital currencies will “fully” replace fiat? on: December 07, 2019, 04:20:28 AM
I believe its really going there. But the replacement of fiat I guess is a longer process. Bitcoin will definitely grow and if not a replacement soon for fiat but an additional option for currencies. Adoption of crypto currencies is very crutial and expensive somehow as there are still many rural areas who even not had an electricity.
It is a long process where a decade is not enough to make it happen.
It will surely to happen, even if bitcoin won't make it to replace fiat, at least it can help us to become an alternative option for us to use it to make transactions.
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Frozing Funds from Hacked Exchanges on: December 06, 2019, 11:45:41 AM
The point of Binance freezing the stolen funds is to prevent it from moving to another address and being laundered all over again and while giving time for the respective exchange to somehow investigate and cooperate with binance in order to return the money. This is also why KYC is a requirement in most of the popular exchanges so that they could trace who's the holder of that account but it could be a double edge sword. So, the money will not be distributed directly to the users who lost their money but instead given back to the exchange who got their funds stolen which is basically the same thing anyway and more efficient and of course, how Binance and other exchange could cooperate resulting to the return of the fund is not that simple.
And the hackers will not send that hacked balance to any exchange because he know what will happen to that balance and possible that he cant get any amount for selling it. If i would be the hacker i will just stay it in my wallet for security  reason or i will use mixer and will send only small amount.
Hackers are smart so I think it is accurate that they won't send those balances back to any exchange just to make sure that his stolen funds will get to use and not be frozen once it was reported. Or maybe the hacker will split those funds to different wallets and make small transactions so it won't be too obvious.

It will be easier and cheaper for the project to give out in their own currency, although there are companies that paid with ether and bitcoin but this is rare and it seems that really good companies do this.
Exactly, since they don't need to cost so much just to provide bounty allocation fund to their bountt hunters if they just send their own created coin as bounty rewards.
There are no bounties like that nowadays, it only happen before and you can't see something like that in any bounty campaigns today.
494  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Is the hardware wallet really safe? on: December 06, 2019, 03:36:41 AM
You don't need to be afraid or paranoid about saving your coins in the hardware. As long as you can follow the procedure for storing your coins, you don't have to worry about the bad things. There is no 100% guarantee for feeling safe for anything in this world, but we can prevent and minimalize from those bad things so you can access your wallet every time you want. The only way you will be saved is to moves your coin in the wallet, keep it in a deposit box, don't connect that hardware wallet to the internet for a long time. But the matter is, can you do that for yourself? I guess you don't. So you don't have to be scary for the wrong things because you will save if you can make sure if it is safe.
Yes, since hardware wallet is the safest wallet we can use to store our funds.
There is no guarantee for its safety but it all depends on how we keep it. The security of hardware wallet begins with its user. There is no need to worry about how long you will keep using it as long as you are using it on your own personal computer, also, it automatically disconnect if the user is inactive in using it.
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can i play games and get paid in crypto ? on: December 05, 2019, 05:14:29 AM
Actually never heard of the platform that pays people to play PC games like CSGO and Dota 2 with promising reward most of them are just faucets and last time I heard it's a platform called BUFF that tries to bring that into reality but now I've never heard about them. However, there are plenty of people that willing to buy skins or item in exchange for cryptos and I assume that a lot profitable than any other method which usually only get you pennies. Try to look up some forums or websites that usually being used for skin or item marketplace. Crypto has become something mainstream in that kind of websites anyway.
Because there is no such thing created until today. Games stated above is not linked to crypto, this will only happen if pc games such Dota 2 and CSGO will be subject to crypto in terms of gambling using crypto or anything that will benefit it. But for now, there is no such thing in crypto world.
496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are the world’s governments not using cryptocurrencies? on: December 05, 2019, 04:07:06 AM
Government says it's due to security purposes and some are afraid in the fact that it's transparent that all transactions will be known and might be a hindrance in their plans of corruption.

This is to tell you that, the government breeds in secrecy. They don't want any mechanism that would make governance an open affair, especially governments that deprive their people rights of citizenship. They close up any avenue of association for the people.
Someone is working below the table and I'm sure every government have their own secret agency to study and analyze cryptocurrency, they don't want a big threat on their financial system. If the government allows its people to use cyrptocurrency, then fiat money will be weaken and maybe people wont use fiat money anymore so this is a big risk for every government.
That is not the reason, there is no way that people will stop using fiat for good and I don't see any effect of crypto to fiat if it will be implemented to be use by any other people. Crypto can be use as an alternative option to make transactions. But there are things that the government need to considerate before they allow the wide usage of it. The reason is still unknown, since they are still in the middle of studying how they can take advantage of it.

498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sources of income? on: December 04, 2019, 06:46:46 AM
Besides trading, holding, and bounty hunting, what are your other sources of income in cryptocurrency?

Can you tell us about your profitable ways of earning cryptocurrencies nowadays?
You have listed all possible sources of income in cryptocurrencies for the common man in the street. Faucets and airdrops we do not take into account, because it is a waste of time. In addition to the methods of obtaining cryptocurrency listed by you, it remains only to receive a salary in cryptocurrency for any work.
Yes, but there are still some kind of source of income where your skill is required. Like article writing, offering services as escrow, creating signature, or any other services that will help and will surely give satisfaction.
499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe satoshi is dead on: December 04, 2019, 03:24:04 AM
He is like Schrodinger's cat, we never know if he's alive or dead until we find him which I think will never happen because of how he hid his identity to the world. I'm sure this Forum moderators have some significant clues that could lead to his identity but we shouldn't meddle as it must be the wish of Satoshi.  Bitcoin is an open-source and anyone can contribute to it.
Finding him will be impossible, we should consider the risk not only for him but to the whole crypto space if his identity and location will be revealed.
The forum admins might have some knowledge about it, but even if they know, I'm sure they won't say a thing about him since they wanted to ensure the anonymity of everyone especially the developer of BTC.
500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: crypto earnings on: December 04, 2019, 02:53:26 AM
guys how to get around local tax laws and convert crypto earnings into legal fiat?
actually it's easy to solve this problem. we live to register the results of our income to the taxation agency and register the job as IT or internet marketing. register the amount of monthly income so that we will still pay us even though the actual income through crypto
It is one thing, if you really don't want to avoid paying tax then you can put to your record that you are working online or freelance.
Actually there are still no taxation law saying that crypto users are subject to paying tax. As of now, it is still under the consideration of the government (depends on the country you reside in). If crypto is legal in your country, then sooner or later, paying tax is necessary.
