From the next few will be interesting to watch the match West Ham and Mancity... And of course Manunited and Chelsea! In recent games with these clubs was scored a large number of goals!
Wow! At West Ham odd is 8.0... Wink
4802  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did bitcoin lose its value? on: October 20, 2020, 11:04:24 AM
The value of bitcoin is equal to one bitcoin! Thus, it can never lose its value! Wink
Even if you measure its value in dollars, its value has tripled during the pandemic (after the fall)!
4803  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hardware Cryptowallet with Fingerprint Authorization on: October 20, 2020, 07:57:37 AM
Just imagine that a transaction is identified by your fingerprint...
Which is why open source is important to verify such things. If there's no code then it's hard to verify and debate this kind of paranoia.
But anyway, if you care about your privacy you'd probably stick with other HW instead of buying this one.

I know that Ledger recently added the swap function to its Ledger Live software... So, this feature is not available for some countries, which means that Ledger knows your IP data and therefore knows your country or region...
I don't know about the rest of the hardware wallets, but I thought it was better to give them up!

"If you don't have paranoia, it doesn't mean that you are not being followed!" Grin
4804  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hardware Cryptowallet with Fingerprint Authorization on: October 20, 2020, 06:15:07 AM
Why doesn't anyone here consider such devices as an option for tracking cryptographic software owners? Especially if we are talking about China, where the total tracking of citizens is formed!
Just imagine that a transaction is identified by your fingerprint...
4805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hardware Cryptowallet with Fingerprint Authorization on: October 19, 2020, 02:11:01 PM
I don't think it is a good idea to identify the owner of a wallet by his fingerprint! It's like a kind of KYC/AML...
Recently I found out that Ledger has a georeference to an IP address, so I thought about why I need a hardware wallet at all? Grin
4806  Economy / Speculation / Re: Guys avoid panic sell... on: October 19, 2020, 12:25:35 PM
Because of panic, the rich become even richer! By the way, it is the whales and big players make panic and force people to sell their assets... This is called redistribution! Then they sell their stocks/coins/tokens at higher prices... Then the cycle repeats! Wink
4807  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin is rising suddenly ? on: October 19, 2020, 11:49:12 AM
I think it's just an increase due to regular market demand even though the increase is quite high.
but I don't see a specific reason for that, moreover altcoins are not going up, so I guess btc is trying to get up first.
The market isn't special right now, demand is probably not the exact reason. I think so because often when the demand for cryptocurrencies increases, every coin fluctuates, it is very difficult to have individuality.

All markets were artificially supported by printing dollars starting from March 2020... The cryptoсurrency market is not an exception when USDT was printed for several months in a row... Wink
4808  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin difficult to understand on: October 19, 2020, 09:06:27 AM
For me, it's difficult to understand if we are including too-much technical information or detail to someone who isn't really tech-savvy (especially senior citizens). When I explained Bitcoin to my parents, it's pretty simple.

It's a digital asset like stocks without the presence of a central authority. I didn't even explain about blockchain to them, as they can only understand that Bitcoin is like investing in stocks.

I think that Bitcoin is not an investment, and that OP is about other things! For example, the fact that bitcoin is a peer-to-peer payment system, information about which is stored in the public blockchain... Wink
4809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: October 19, 2020, 06:23:03 AM
Tottenham vs West Ham was a surprising match, all the way from 3-0 to 3-3. West Ham really tried and get Tottenham tactics during the second half was was able to equalize the game. It really surprised me because Tottenham was still leading 3-0 at 81 minutes, but before 90 minutes West Ham was able to score 1 goal, Tottenham having 1 home goal, and West was able to equalized during the 5 minutes extra time.

It was really an exciting match! Spurs helped them to level the score and scored themselves! But West Ham showed team spirit and could play in a draw!
Especially beautiful goal was at the last minute!
This season of Premier League is rich in goals! Grin
4810  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin used for illegal activities on telegram on: October 18, 2020, 04:41:49 PM
i think this is the negative side of bitcoin and other cryptocurrency they can be used through illegal activities. i know that it commonly used in deep web but never thought that some users will use telegram for doing illegal transactions.

This is not a minus of cryptocurrency at all! If you follow your judgment, is trading weapons or drugs a minus fiat money?

I don't defend illegal actions, but it is thanks to the darkmarket that bitcoin got its popularity! Because it is really convenient to use it, bypassing the laws ...
4811  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin over $10,000 for the past 66 days on: October 18, 2020, 03:14:45 PM
It is not time to predict about bitcoin. But l have surety bitcoin price will be grow up & to attract the people to invest in bitcoin. I think so.

Bitcoin has been over 10k for now more than couple of months and that too during the times when all other market due to pandemic were falling. So it means that demand continues to rise or remain stable and thus it is able to sustain the price. Hoping that we could see it soon above 12k levels as well.

In fact, it may not be the demand but the artificial keeping of the price, but in any case I do not care much about it! I am still optimistic about the future of bitcoin! Although it seems to me that after the U.S. presidential election, the price may fall, but most likely it will not be for long!
4812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is unique to man. on: October 18, 2020, 02:18:23 PM
Bitcoin is a new phenomenon of digital money! It is unique in that it is supported around the world, but unofficially! Wink That is, any person without a third party can send value anywhere! For me it is enough to consider Bitcoin unique!
4813  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin used for illegal activities on telegram on: October 18, 2020, 11:17:57 AM
Nothing has changed since Silk Road, and bitcoin is still the number 1 payment means for trading in illegal goods!

Personally, I do not see anything wrong with it, I am sure that bitcoin will be fine!
4814  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin over $10,000 for the past 66 days on: October 18, 2020, 09:39:34 AM
I don't think that 10K has a strong meaning... It can go down to 8K, or rise to 12K... In a few years it may cost much more than we now imagine! Grin
4815  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government can seize company reserve Bitcoin? on: October 18, 2020, 07:28:07 AM
The government will be able to seize the reserves of bitcoins from companies if the laws on illegal ownership of cryptocurrencies are adopted!
Also if the government can prove the illegality or fraud of the organization, it will also be able to seize the bitcoins...
It seems to me that the state can do anything it wants, especially if it is a totalitarian state...
4816  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin and exchngers and others on: October 17, 2020, 05:19:34 PM
proof of keys is good but whos paying the transfering coins out of exchanger fee? we pay  so to prooof that exchnger is correct i have to pay that shiet from my pocket?

 Angry

Of course you must pay the commission yourself! Convert all your assets to bitcoin and send it to your personal wallet... However, this is not convenient to do if you have a margin position... So it seems to me that all users will never withdraw funds from the stock exchanges until they face the deception of their own experience!
4817  Economy / Speculation / Re: history loves repeating itself. the only question is when! on: October 17, 2020, 01:17:11 PM
well that's what we mean, no one knows for sure when it will happen.
people can only predict based on what has happened.
but the reality is sometimes different and will not always be the same, although in general it will imitate previous history

That's why many of us are expecting a new rise in the price of cryptocurrencies! To then compare with the past... I am convinced that history repeats itself and will surely repeat itself once again! The main thing is to use all the past experience next time! Grin
4818  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia blocks localbitcoins on: October 17, 2020, 12:37:16 PM
The fact is that in Russia no one cares about the laws, let alone Roskomnadzor!)).
Next - the cryptocurrency in Russia does not belong to any category of assets or values, that is, there is no law that would classify a crypto to any category! So turn on VPN and don't even think about locks! They are funny, just like lawmakers!
4819  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a new investment on: October 17, 2020, 11:24:57 AM
Bitcoin is one of the strong cryptocurrency and it is the most stable digital coin nowadays. Also, bitcoin is one of the promising investment in digital world. Since, peoples economy nowadays are unstable due to the pandimic situation in the world. Peoples are looking for new source of income to improve their economy. Do you think bitcoin is the best investment choice nowadays to earn money?
Bitcoin is best for this invest in this day. Today bitcoin price is low but after time it price can be huge increase. Also you can trade for btc growth. If you know trading way and know about alt coin which is best for you. You can earn huge money. So i tell today best choice bitcoin invest.

Why do you think that the price of Bitcoin is low? For example, if you take the last ATH and the price of 500 dollars in 2016, the price is now above the middle!
4820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Not User Friendly Yet on: October 17, 2020, 10:52:36 AM
Bitcoin has long been a user friendly as it seems to me. What it looked like in the beginning and what it looks like now, the difference is huge.

I personally feel like it will take some time as people are still not get use to it, BTC is not even close to ready for use by the general public. The problem is not the lack of exposure, BTC needs sellers of goods and services in order to expand its popularity. People are lack of awareness on BTC and how it works especially in Asian countries, because the majority of the people are uneducated and they scared of using it.

People need to be educated on how block chain works only then they will start giving priority to it.

Yes, the understanding of bitcoin and blockchain is just beginning in society... As soon as people realize that only they are the owners of their funds, banks will no longer be in demand! Probably, for these reasons, the states refuse to accept bitcoins...
