What a strange week.  Angry

Tell me about it...  I had money on Liverpool -1, BTTS and the over 2.5 combo on Everton vs Leeds and draw at HT on Arsenal vs Wolves.  And to win my money back, I bet the same amount I lost total on Leicester -1 vs Fullham.  Cheesy

He is "ok" now, he posted a video on his Instagram and he didn't lose his sense of humor, he seems he got "only" his hands burnt

It was truly a miracle. The car literally broke in two, if it had not crashed on the guardarail, at that speed, he would have surely died. His promptness saved him, with the fact that he was not unconscious in the car. Fortunately his wounds will be healed soon

He was in the fire for around 32 seconds or something.  32 seconds!  The crash helmet prolly saved him from breathing the heat, fumes and smoke.  You guys know what happened to Niki Lauda.

^  Yup.  Arteta shouldn't have left Pep at City.  But you know.  Arsenal gotta make an offer he can't refuse, pull off what Chelsea and United did and be with the trend.  Cheesy

Arteta should have been given more time and let him manage a small club somewhere imo..  To gain some experience.  Just like what Gerrard is doing.
4804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: November 30, 2020, 01:02:13 PM
Even i missed watch the event completely because i was glued to the Tyson fight and then came to know about the UFC event when i got notification multiple times that UFC is going on  and started watching from the Parker Porter fight Grin.

The fighters that impressed me the most is Miguel Baeza and Anthony Smith who was on a loosing streak and to win by submission was surprising.

Lol.  I can't believe some of you guys wasted 50 bucks to watch that dog and pony show.

And Smith winning wasn't really that surprising imho.  It was a huge jump in competition for Clark.  Even a low motivated Smith won.

A couple of good spots I'm looking at the coming event are Damon Jackson and John Allan.  Books and the sharps seem to value Topuria and with Allan, wait for his weigh in...  He was suspended by USADA for PEDs and was off for a year.  But I think he's better than Dolidze.

Edit:  Another spot is the under 2.5 for Benitez vs Jaynes.  Jaynes has baaad cardio.  Watch the bout vs Tucker.

I think if United are still planning on hiring Poch, there's a cheaper option..  He's managing the side they're playing against right now.  Grin  'Consider this the job interview.'.

^  Brighton played well tho.  They could start rising at the table now.  They have been playing well but just weren't getting the results.  Now they are in a couple of games.

It could be a good time to start backing them in some spots.  Smiley

^  I celebrated that Mane goal...  Like all out:  MAAANNEEEEEE!!!!  But then was disappointed once again.  At least it was in a span of a few seconds this time, so no biggie.  Grin

Edit:  LOL.  VAR_OUT!
4808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: November 28, 2020, 01:31:25 PM
Brighton 0 - 0 Liverpool

Mohamed Salah almost scored, it was for some centimeter and even so they said the goal was invalid  Angry

Right after you celebrated it, right?  Lolol.  Cheesy  I did too, stood up, got me a drink and saw thr score line is nil for both.  I assume there was no VAR.  That would've been hilarious.

I was already celebrating a lot because it would demoralize Brighton and liverpool would have more space to score more goals, but this draw means that I will have another 45 minutes of suffering

Lol or a whole season.  Cheesy

Predicted Palace win, and hedged it with a Newcastle bet, but because I was dumb enough to bundle that upset with a tight game in La Liga, I lost it anyway. So 0 points from Friday night, toma's probably happy that only a handful of this entire pool actually predicted a Newcastle win. Fancy Joelinton getting in on at the end eh?

Liverpool look the best betting value of today's matched, but if I'm Spurs, I'll be flush from last week's 4/1 win, should look to do a repeat.
That yesterday game had no goals written all over it and then Newcastle got those 2 late goals to screw my prediction. No matter at least my bets were green, I had under 2.5 goals for high stake and 1.half draw on another multi which got busted later.

Liverpool line up looks ok and should score a couple against Brighton, they will probably concede one as well so I am expecting result like 3:1 for the reds. Have a bet on them as a part of nice double with my main tip of the day:
Everton - Leeds both to score @1.6, this looks like free money to me. Both sides are bad at defending and I am expecting goals galore in this match maybe even something like 4:3 for one of the sides. If my early ticket passes and line ups are as expected I will be putting a lot more money on this one.

With that line up, I was thinking my 2 - 1 for Liverpool was still likely.  Watching the match...  Nope.  It almost looks like Liverpool vs Atalanta just played a couple of days ago.

Edit:  Finally!  Need one more for my bet.  Grin

Edit:  Salah off..  He doesn't look happy.

I just logged in to say:  Williams you idiot!

...  That is all.

But he got lucky.  LFC needs VVD very badly.  Got LFC to win and over 1.5 combo at 1.78.  I don't it's gonna look good with this line up.  :/

Edit:  LFC looking shaky at the back.  One of these shots are bound to go in.

Call me crazy but if the spurs win this turn they create a wave of joy in the team and they can be a contender for the title till the end.

Like what happened to Leicester a few years ago, when you create the alchemy inside the team you can beat anyone even if they are stronger than you.

If Leicester did some years ago for sure Spurs can do the same thing with a better (probably) team.

That squad, with Mou at the helm...  It's very possible.  They're already contenders right now imo.

Weigh ins started a few minutes ago.  Could help to get more reads from this sketchy card from a betting perspective.

^  The Dec 19 Fight Night event could be a PPV in on itself imo.  McGregor wanted to headline but Dana White wouldn't budge.

This weekend's card isn't that good but do try to watch the matches.  You could find some value here and there.

^  It's gonna be interesting...  I think a few more buyins lost, Dnegs will request for a double up in stakes.  And you gotta wonder how well Doug plays when he's taken out of his comfort zone.

LOL.  Oh my.  I'm done.  My bet is dead.  Atalanta got this one.
4818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: November 25, 2020, 09:20:12 PM
Oh damn.  Lol.  1 - 0 Atalanta.

...  With how Liverpool are playing and with just half an hour to go, it'll be just a draw at best.  LFC better pick it up.
4819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: November 25, 2020, 08:52:21 PM
^  Zidane should get it done.  How's Hazard doing?  I'm watching LFC vs Atalanta..  Got a bet on Liverpool and they've managed only shot for the whole first half.  Hope it picks up in the second.

Anyway, I just pulled the trigger on a Baeza and under 2.5 of the Mudaerji match at 2.51ish.  I think I'm gonna regret this cos my gut says Sato could win vs Baeza after watching tape on both.
Takashi Sato and Miguel Baeza have all the potential to become the fight of the night and i hope it will not go the distance. I will stay away from wagging a bet as both these fighters have knockout power and anything could happen Grin.

My picks for this card are Jonathan Pearce, Gina Mazany, Anderson dos Santos, Norma Dumont, Bill Algeo, Josh Parisian and Curtis Blaydes and i might try a parlay as i am pretty confident about my pick this time.

^  I think Baeza's leg kicks will give him the edge tho.  But it's very dangerous from an open stance with Sato being a south paw.  But yeah, kinda sketchy the more I think about.  Lol.
