4801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: January 20, 2020, 06:40:55 PM
Premier league had a lot of games like this in the first weeks, a lot of unexpected losses or ties by the big clubs (except Liverpool obviously) but for some reason la liga was going decent, Barcelona and Madrid had a lot of bad games but they are having a bad season so odds show that at least which I can really enjoy.

This week was one of those weeks where sportsbooks are basically thanking God and hoping same will happen every week Cheesy. I love betting right after these weeks, usually teams who got humiliated ends up winning with a good margin, they play a very attack football and try to recover from this week, that is why I will probably wager even more next week and try to recoup all the losses easily, its kinda like martingale version of sports betting Cheesy.
4802  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: January 20, 2020, 04:43:48 PM
There was a "Donate to Charity" feature built into Freebitco.in a few years ago, but Wetsuit added a lot more features and the Charity option was removed for some reason.  Huh

I always donated about 10% of all my winnings, no matter how small it was.  Grin  It would be nice if Wetsuit could revisit his decision to remove the feature and find some new spot for it.  Wink

I know he had some counter that automatically donated a specific amount, once donations reached a specific amount.  Wink
It doesn't have to be a button that comes back but that would be swell as well, think about how much money could be given away for charity if that was an option, like for example even 1 satoshi per free roll given to charity would combine to make a lot of money per month, even couple thousand dollars per month would be both great for us to be as a community but also great for freebitcoins name as well, they will be known as the place that gives away so much for charity.

There should be some stuff about that done for sure but it could be manual, doesn't have to be automatic at all, anyone who wins the lambo thing will get 200k and they could just give 5k of that to a charity and that is still 195k won for them. I pledge as well to give 1 btc to charity if I end up winning it.
4803  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. 🏆 on: January 19, 2020, 06:21:59 PM
I know this will not be liked around here but I played for Spurs against watford Cheesy. I know most of you feel like you are happy that I lost because Watford didn't lost a game and still on a roll nowadays but honestly it looked like that game could have been 5-0 before the game started and Spurs would destroy Watford, after the game ended I can literally say Watford could have won that game if the penalty went in.

Anyway, the only silver lining in this game is probably Watford not losing, I may end up losing a lot of money (bet the whole bankroll) but watford is not going down for sure if they keep this up. Imma deposit back and hope that Liverpool continues their roll for a while more starting next week and I can make the loss back, with my luck liverpool will get their first loss on my bet Cheesy.
4804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No, Bitcoin SV Will Not ‘Run the Internet’ Someday on: January 19, 2020, 05:38:40 PM
That is not something anyone with a single grain of mind would believe in. There are people in this world who thinks a rich person becoming even richer is a good thing and maybe one day they will be like that as well and try to be with them, try to showcase rich persons success as their own because they supported him, just like a supporter of a football team, this is just that case.

Similar to Trump people who have basically no income, trump killing their profits, getting fired because his corporate friends wants more money, dying of medical bills that they can't pay etc etc and in the end they still support Trump because they have absolutely nothing good going on in their life so might as well support someone who wins in life and feel successful by proxy. Remove trump and add in Craig Wright and you get the gist of it.
4805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are mainstream events linked to crypto's price movement on the market? on: January 19, 2020, 05:05:41 PM
Also shouldn't it depend on the mainstream event? I mean lets say today is my birthday, that is an "event" but 99.999999% of the world doesn't know about it, so would that change the price of bitcoin? I guess not. Iran vs USA war? Would that change bitcoins price?

Maybe, depends on how long it takes and how serious it gets. There is absolutely no way we can collect data big enough to show what actually changes the price of bitcoin and what doesn't, there is no way something like that can be calculated in general, so we just "assume" some mainstream stuff do affect it and some doesn't.

In this example, we know Iran war could change it, and my birthday won't, now those are big marginal obvious examples, lower the Iran war and increase birthday and you got yourself a sweet spot where its just in the cusp of changing or not changing, that level is still unknown.
4806  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the general issues/problems do traders or investors usually face during on: January 19, 2020, 02:03:23 PM
Maybe an easier way getting into the market could be better for people all around the world. Crypto itself is still very difficult to purchase all around the world, maybe for USA its easy, or maybe for bigger European nations it is still easy, but what we should not forget is that it is quite difficult for many third world nations and even some developing nations as well.

For example, I had a friend who couldn't even get bitcoin because it was so difficult for him to buy it, so he just worked for it and saved it on his free time instead and that became more profitable for him. I know it is not a problem "traders" faces because traders suggests you already have crypto, but ease of buying and selling could become a bit easier, not just exchanges but could be one stop shop where you can buy and sell without using a third party to get buyers and sellers together.
4807  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHICH CRYPTO MOBILE APPS DO YOU USE? on: January 19, 2020, 10:22:30 AM
I have circle for sudden payment needs, I first got it probably 4-5 years ago when they gave away 5 bucks to people who registered, crypto news for checking whats going on, blockfolio to keep track of my coins and blockchain for movements and such. I don't think my phone is really carrying all of this tho, like I have an old phone and whenever I want to do these things they are quite difficult to achieve and takes time and lags etc etc, except blockchain because that is still works properly but all the others are taking superbly long time to load or do anything even after I click it.

Hopefully, I will get a new one and I am thinking android this time because usually the systems in them are better, I don't care about the camera and how well it takes photos but I want to have a good phone that can live for years without me changing it.
4808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 18, 2020, 05:23:54 PM
Mourinho is a marvelous manager, just couple of games is not really the way he should be looked at, winning or losing few games would happen to any coach, if you take a stretch I am 100% sure Sir Alex Ferguson probably had a 5 losing streak in his career, not frequently obviously but it must have happened, that doesn't mean he is a bad manager at all, dude is probably the best ever lived.

Mourinho will turn things around for Spurs for sure, he will probably play a bit of his own style, a bit of with what he has in Spurs and will probably end the league at third spot (after Liverpool and city of course) but even at worst case they will end up in top 5, I don't see them going down under that. Real test will start next year when he is in charge a full year with the transfer rights in his hand all summer as well getting whoever he wants.
4809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2020 be ETH's biggest year yet? on: January 17, 2020, 05:44:46 PM
I doubt it will be its "biggest year yet", from 2016 to 2018 we have seen ethereum going from 10 bucks to 1500 bucks, in two years time there has been nothing in the whole world that has managed to make that much money with that much volume and liquidity before, sure there could be some pump and dump coins that made similar ones but there was no coin that made that much increase and still allowed you to sell over a billion without destroying all of the market in a single move and still able to cover it.

Basically, eth could potentially have a great year, an amazing year, an unbelievably awesome year, but lets not get out of reality and forget that eth was once 1500 dollars, even if it reaches 1500 dollars from here, that wouldn't be the biggest year of eth's life.
4810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Monero Be The Best Investment In 2020? on: January 17, 2020, 02:50:47 PM
Yeah, monero is not something new, it has been around for a long time and it has been popular with the miners for a while as well for being so asic resistant as well. In the end monero will always live and will always have some sort of value, not because it is amazing in all of crypto compared to coins like bitcoin or ethereum but because it is the best privacy coin out there.

So, there is a big number of people who like privacy coins and that will always be the best coin for them. Surely there are other privacy coins, hell there must be ones that are better in general as well but none of them will pass it due to fact that monero was there first, just like bitcoin not being the best blockchain right now but still being the best coin out there in market cap value.
4811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PoW to PoS question on: January 17, 2020, 01:46:31 PM
Honestly, I am happy that PoS is getting more famous, I don't know how the technology will catch up and how better the technology will be with the new PoS wave (I still think PoW makes things cheaper and faster) but I kinda enjoy the new "exchanges have staking options" thing because exchanges has always been getting all these PoS coins and people traded there but exchanges with all those millions of those coins gained the profits of the staking and never shared it with people, now binance and few other places actually share the PoS and that way we could finally have people both trading and staking at the same time.

That is why I am keeping most of my coins at binance nowadays to keep it staking easier, if I had it myself it took 9 days to get a stake (same profit over long enough time) but this way I am getting it faster at least and won't have to wait 9 days to trade it away whenever I want to.
4812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: token supply on: January 17, 2020, 09:50:40 AM
sometimes I think if you look at the amount of token supply in such a large amount that trillions and trillions after the project runs several months or years, the token will be burned, what for if you make tokens with a large supply, but will be burned, ...?

 Roll Eyes
Well, if a project has a large number of tokens which are not all sold than they can burn the remaining tokens. Burning the tokens is actually good for the project as it creates a scars in the amount of tokens which would rather keep on the demand increasing. Burning the tokens is actually an effective way to start a price pump in the price and hence most of the projects would now consider burning there remaining tokens to keep their project in well-demand.

I do not find anything wrong in this though because creating a larger amount of tokens might not be that bad step as in a case, there are a lot of investors than each of those tokens would be sold.
4813  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to read trading charts? on: January 16, 2020, 03:55:34 PM
it is all started with the basics and moves to another step. No one will succeed instantly and the sad thing is that it all accompanied by difficulties, losses and as well as being hopeless. Knowing how to read charts and candlestick is another skill. Not probably a must but if we would like to see the improvement of our trading journey and become more profitable it is better to acquire this thing.

you were both right. Yet, candlesticks are tough thing to read if you were just a beginner. One way to be atleast a good thing to begin with is to study the market itself, your chosen market to trade, in whatever the currency you want. Read news and predictions, have patience to study how your chosen market works, together with some brief history. Then watch youtube for other analyzing tips.
Understanding the trend is also an important phenomenon before just learning analyzing the candle sticks. Candle sticks are usually something much basic and they could not really make you understand the charts much deeply. You have to learn some more strategies and pattern which would make it easier to understand the graphs.

Most easier one for me is the bollinger bands and RSI. Combining these both with the volume makes it easier for me to identify the trend and also the understand the patterns. You could initially learn these strategies to get yourself started with the trading patterns and charts. It would make you gain more interest and you would come to know about a lot new strategies and patterns after this. Try to analyze the patterns on tradingview for better and convenient way.
4814  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Reasons why traders fail in Forex on: January 16, 2020, 03:23:19 PM
It’s no secret that Forex is a great business but also equally dangerous with many people struggling and ending up in wrong zone.

This is where https://www.liberatedstocktrader.com/why-traders-fail-in-online-forex-trading/ can be useful way to avoid making same mistakes that others have made or are making. Only then we will be able to find results that we dearly desire to get.
Forex markets are less volatile and the percentage of their daily price changes is not that extreme as compared to the cryptocurrency markets so having a chance to lose excess amount there is quite smaller but also if you bought at the wrong trend and the price falls down than you need to wait a long time in order to gain some profits from the market as the price would not recover that sooner.

You have to analyze the markets more deeply so that you could come to know about the recent trend. Also following and actively going through the news related to the forex markets markets makes it easier to understand the ongoing activities in-between the markets which even makes it easier to understand the trend.
4815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin could reach $100,000 in 2020: Ross Ulbricht on: January 16, 2020, 09:20:50 AM
Does anyone know when is the next time Ross could appeal to the ruling? I mean we are talking about someone that is legally criminal and I understand but I can't be the only one that thinks it was a bit of "example" to give him such a bad punishment. Leaving that aside 100k is not really something that is doable for this year, people are forgetting how much money is required for that much increase and we don't have that much money involved in crypto just yet. Unless everyone leaves ALL altcoins and go for bitcoin, we are not going to see 100k just yet.

Hopefully, we will see it in this decade tho, even that is great, that is 10x increase in valuation inside 10 years which barely anyone offers so I still think he is right but just not on the timing part of it.
4816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Satoshi Vision BSV vs BITCOIN BTC? on: January 16, 2020, 04:47:57 AM
BSV is just another copy of Bitcoin , and as usual every coin is created to be better than the other and companies will always tell you that their coin is going to offer you 'this and that’ if you invest in it, but all that doesn’t make any sense.

Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency and it invented the idea of having a cyber coin, so no matter how much other coins try they are not going to pull down Bitcoin which is going to remain the King. If you compare Bitcoin to every other coin there is in the market there is one thing that is in Bitcoin but is lacking in other cryptocurrency and that’s real world adoption – Bitcoin has a high adoption and there are lots of places allowing people spend bitcoin unlike other coins. So these ones are going nowhere and of course there will always be times when they will surge but after that, they will still fall.
4817  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC Futures Manipulation on: January 16, 2020, 04:09:13 AM
Well, the way you explain it, it is possible with every stock or cryptocurrency. Manipulation is always a possibility but the odds of that happening is a bit low or the extent of the possibility of making huge swings is not that high. A lot of BTC is kept on HODL, according to recent reports, $100 Billion worth of BTC hasnt even moved since 2017. So, the manipulation chances are a bit lower coz of it.

This is reality, and we can't be serious for that manipulation dominated our market price nowadays. Holders remain calm at this moment while fears of dumps will be possible at any random situations, that because sellers are waiting for another some spikes of btc price. Huge btc holdings are still in the whales, we should wait until such time the market is freed from bearish trend.
Yes, even I think the same. Only the big whales are the one's who have accumulated at the approximate dips and now are holding majority of bitcoins into their bags just looking for an opportunity to empty their bags once the price hikes a lot giving them access profits.

In these kind of markets, small amount traders get usually manipulated as until they come to know the trend of the current markets, the markets change their direction according to the big whales which might leave small volume traders on an edge of loss. But yet, each small volume trader too can have a chance to fill their bags with profits if they could understand the market phenomenons.
4818  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy bitcoin with credit card on: January 16, 2020, 03:17:49 AM
I know a lot of people already who used their credit card to buy Bitcoins. The interest is high when you buy Bitcoin, because aside from the charges that the Credit Card company will charge you, the exchanger also will add additional fees and charges for using Credit Cards. Before using your card to buy Bitcoins or altcoin, better make sure that returns of your investment is big enough to cover the fees.
That's the most important factor. Even I used my credit card to make a purchase of bitcoin but it was never been on a profitable side. As the card  used charged me a heavy transaction cost along with the interest rate which was around 13% plus I was been charged by the exchange where I bought bitcoin with credit card because of International transaction.

I was unaware about such heavy charges and hence has to make a loss just in order to gain some experience. After that time, each time anyone asks a platform where they could purchase bitcoin with credit cards, I strictly inform them never to do so because I personally only had loss in such transaction.
4819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins profit ... Which altcoin is best for profits? on: January 15, 2020, 05:31:33 PM
Every coin has its own time and people couldn't figure that out already. I mean think about 365 days of a year and if you pick the highest earner of that specific date every single day, you would be a billionaire in the end of just one year no matter how you started, nobody can give you names of the coins with the most profits because nobody knows when they will go up. Sure we can pick couple of coins we prefer over others but all coins have those days where they increase a lot, not many or frequent days however at least one day.

I personally still like the major ones in the top 10 except bch, bsv, xrp but the rest are very cool, this doesn't mean that any other coin won't go up, they will go up as well, so "for profit" is not a good way to pick a coin.
4820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which altcoins are you keeping in your bag for 2020-2021 ? on: January 15, 2020, 04:45:22 PM
Honestly, aside from Nano I don't consider any coins I have left as bags, all others are major coins, some in loss but they are still big so I don't see them as bags. Nano has been with me for over 2 years now, I don't think I will ever be capable of selling it, the current price shows that I wouldn't make any decent money with it anyway so I think it is better to wait for it to go up or just forget about it, if it does like 10x or something, I will definitely sell because it would worth something at that point.

I have some eos and eth that I am in loss right now and a bit of tron as well but looking at how big they are right now, I feel like those are not "bags" or if I am wrong and those three are not really looking like they are going to go up in 2020, you guys are welcome to warn me.
