Your post above did not answer my question.  What specifically are your selling?

This quote is rather interesting:

Quote
As for a detailed description, well I haven't really prepared one yet

How can you expect people to be interested in buying something from you when you cannot tell them what it is?  And:

Quote
It's probably best If I let the buyers bid...

How can we bid on something when we do not know what it is?  "It is a loan business" is not specific enough.

It sounds like maybe you have a loan and/or deposit portfolio (not sure by your answers).  Let me try to be more specific:

Exactly how many BTC do you have on deposit.  In other words exactly how many BTC have people loaned to you?

How many people have deposits with you?

What is the average daily, weekly or monthly interest rate you are paying for these deposits?

Now, how many BTC do you have out in loans?  In other words exactly how many BTC do you have currently loaned out to other people?

How many loans have you made?

How many active loans do you currently own?

What is average the daily, weekly or monthly interest rate you are charging on these loans?

What is your average default rate on the loans in your portfolio?

This will give me an idea of exactly how much your business is worth.  If you actually have something to sell I may be interested in buying the entire portfolio for one lump sum.

But, I have to see your books first.

What, exactly, are you selling?  A portfolio of loans?  An operating business of some sort?  Where can I find a detailed description of what you are selling so I can determine if I want to buy it?
4803  Economy / Lending / Re: 100.00 Bitcoins - Loan - I pay 0.3% per day of interest on: July 19, 2012, 12:15:57 PM
Also willing.  PM me if theses loans do not work out.
4804  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 2 btc loan on: July 19, 2012, 12:13:26 PM
For everyone's information:  You can always just PM one of the lenders in the sticky posts at the top of this section.  For example if pereiraex would have just sent a PM directly to Patrick (or myself) explaining the situation either one of us would have probably just lent him the BTC.  Maybe not.  If we decline the loan then you can try to run a post and see what happens.
4805  Economy / Lending / Re: [Lend] 4BTC on: July 19, 2012, 12:05:45 PM
Again, lending out 4 BTC just to have it sent back is not going to help you.  This will prove even less than borrowing BTC and sending it back.  See https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=94095.msg1040600#msg1040600
4806  Economy / Lending / Re: Confidence loan: 25BTC on: July 19, 2012, 12:01:49 PM
I expect that you are having a hard time selling due to competition, prices, the products you are trying to sell and other factors.  Trust and/or reputation should not be an issue.  You have already mentioned that you are willing to send first and you are willing to do escrow.

Getting a small loan here and sending it right back will do nothing for your reputation.

Try mentioning the willingness to do escrow and send first again, maybe reduce your prices, maybe add more products to your catalog.

BTW I also do escrow if you ever get an interested buyer.

Best mining bond on the market.

The entire trading sub forum makes you nervous?  Or were you trying to give a more specific link?  Or, hmm, I guess I just do not follow the meaning of the link.

^^ cheers... PM'd someone with an invite to this thread Smiley

payb.tc,  Do you have someone in mind or are you going to send them back?

might just have to send them back, sorry to spoil the fun.

for the record, i PM'd Graet, but he must be out weekend partying or something.

Thanks everyone!

Well that was fun and interesting.  Should we do it again?  If so do you have any proposals for rule changes?

It might be an equally fun side game to list who you wouldn’t send it to.

I wouldn’t send it to Matthew N. Wright only because his concept of time is skewed. Oh, you’d get it back but he would read six hours as six months.

I also wouldn’t send it to Vladimir Marchenko because he would invest it in a ASIC farm or a little plastic Bitcoin card and tell you that you will thank him for it later.

I wouldn’t send it to Magical Tux because you would need to provide several proofs of identification mailed to him and then the review process would take several months because he lost your first mailing.
Good one.

I will track the path in the OP so you can check there to see the status.  I changed the rule so that if you cannot find someone you totally trust within 24 hours you should send it back to me.
4814  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 100 BTC trust roulette on: July 14, 2012, 04:15:51 AM
Rememer you can always just send it back and be totally off the hook.  No harm no foul.
4815  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 100 BTC trust roulette on: July 14, 2012, 03:53:26 AM
But what if "trusted" person sends to fake person #1 then to fake person#2 then fake person #3. How do you link back to the real scammer? You will be going after 3 people who dont exist.
If you cannot think of anyone you know that would not pull this kind of scam then send it back to me.
4816  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 100 BTC trust roulette on: July 14, 2012, 03:39:50 AM
I'm going to be first andor second in both threads Tongue

OK Garr255 you have 6 hours to send it on or send it back to me!

Be careful out there!
4817  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 100 BTC trust roulette on: July 14, 2012, 03:37:14 AM
Aw man, I want to see how this plays out. Too bad I don't really have a rep here yet  Undecided

Isn't six hours not much time for people to contact someone they trust (because of time zones, etc.?) It would be better if the time limit was 24 hours to pass the coins on.
If you cannot find somone you trust enough to pass it on to in six hours then simply return it to me to the address in my OP.
4818  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 100 BTC trust roulette on: July 14, 2012, 03:32:23 AM
Hmm I'm not the only one waiting to be the hacked guy rather than the guy holding the bag it seems... Wink Cheesy Cheesy

-MarkM-

That debt would be between the hacked guy and the person that gave it to the hacked guy.  Hacked guy, if trustworthy would pay back out of their own pocket.  So only give it to people with the character and means to pay you back if  they lose it.
4819  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 100 BTC trust roulette on: July 14, 2012, 03:26:50 AM
I'd throw in here if I wasnt going to be away from electronics for the next 3 days in about an hour as I can't gaurantee that I'd have time to pass it on before then, but I have a question.

Are you not supposed to choose the person you wish to recieve it, or have you personally decided to start it off by finding a list of cantidates that post here and from there choose?
Once you get it then it is up to you to either contact one of your best friends to play or select from the people you know who have joined the thread.
4820  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 100 BTC trust roulette on: July 14, 2012, 03:23:55 AM
Yes, I will chose from those that post here or if no one I trust posts I will go find someone.

Off to a rocky start.  We will see how it goes.
